What a lovely gem. First time in and loved the Sunday roast options. Really would come back if in the area.

Tom provided fantastic customer service at the pub! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Really appreciated his positive attitude and efficiency. Thanks, Tom!

Disappointed by the experience. Furniture is worn out, food is ok but expensive & service lackluste.

This was an ideal spot to meet up and dine, just outside Trent Park. The staff were welcoming and efficient and the food was great. We would return to this venue again.

Really nice and tranquil garden area (on a Tuesday evening). The staff were friendly and helpful, and really set the tone for a thoroughly pleasant stay. The duck noodle salad was delicious. I very much look forward to going back.

We went there to eat in the restaurant rather than the main pub and pre booked. When we arrived we were told the restaurant isn’t open and we can eat in the main pub area. This is a bit more crowded and noisy but there were plenty of tables. The atmosphere is good, service was good. There is a limited food selection but the food was very good. All in all a lovely pub.

We had a lovely experience at the Cock Inn. The food was wonderful and Fathimo was an incredibly lovely and attentive waitress who addressed all of our needs! We will definitely be coming back!

My initial server Alice was lovely and welcoming, throughout the night the atmosphere was great, Leighanne and Tom on the bar were quick and bubbly. The sticky toffee pudding was super and filling.

Sticky toffee was incredible. Alice’s quick and bubbly service was great to come through the door to. Everyone at the bar was lovely and helpful, the atmosphere was comfortable and able to sit for hours chatting.

We booked for a birthday celebration and had a great time. Communication for the booking was good. We got a nice table. Alice on the service was efficient and so nice, she made our night. The manager was very nice, he even treated us to a free treat! Dana & Alin in the kitchen did great. I had the seafood linguini, delish and the Trio of desserts.. heavenly. We will be back. Leighanne was very lovely, kind and helpful. She made us feel welcome and provided excellent customer service.

The service of the lady at the bar has been very poor and rude. I was simply asking if there’s any space around and if my dog is allowed inside, her tone of reply was impatient and put me off, saying “you need to order drinks at the bar”. It seems to imply I haven’t been to a country pub or any pub before or I wasn’t going to get any drinks or food before getting a table. I left without hesitation. I felt bad as the other gentleman seems nice to reply me and I do hope the service level towards new walked in customer could be improved!

We had a great meal at The Cock Inn tonight. I had a super salad with sea bass fillets which was tasty and filling. There was a good variety of ingredients and the sea bass fillets were well cooked. My husband had the pork and scallop duo which he loved, especially with a bit of pork crackling. The chefs were Alin and Dana and they did a great job. The waitress who was called Margot was very friendly and guided us through the menu. The other waitress, Becca was incredibly helpful and bubbly. We will definitely return.

Our waitress was a lovely young lady called Alice. She was knowledgeable about the menu and was efficient whilst serving us. It made our lunch all the more pleasurable, all thanks to Alice. She wad great 😊😊😊

Came to visit from the states with some of my boys had a blast! Tom was very helpful and even recommended some places to see in London. Must Visit!

Food cooked by Alin and Adrian was excellent. Kids loved their food and our chicken burgers were in particular delicious. Alice looked after us and did so excellently even asking if our dogs need two separate water bowls as we were meeting up with friends and their dog. The kids had a great time playing out in the garden. Service much improved since our last visit a few years ago.

Lovely visit and enjoyable food but completely spoiled a few weeks later by a parking ticket and the discovery that my visit cost me an additional £60. I had intended to return again but this is unaffordable. The car park is directly in front of the pub. I noticed a sign saying this was a private car park but assumed it was a private car park for customers of the Cock Inn. Big mistake.

This place has gone down hill. They have four pumps for beer like London Pride but none were working as the beer has to settle and had arrived that morning Friday. So no pump beer for Friday at all. Suggest the manager gets their ordering sorted. Bar staff ok but not inspiring at all. No apologises just robotic. Used to be so much better.

Waited over an hour for our main course to appear This was a Sunday lunch of roast beef etc. It’s not as if we asked for anything out of the ordinary and we all ordered the same food. The waitress would have liked to have been anywhere else but here Will not be visiting again as there are many other restaurants nearby offering much better food and service for the same price

So I know it was mothers day and the meals were a bit overpriced but so was everywhere else! Lovely decor and everywhere was really clean... They've done it up a bit since I was there last and I was impressed. Sat in the sun for cocktails after!

I hadnt been to this pub for years and years. I met my friend there as it was a lovely mid point. The way this chain has decorated is beautiful, bright, light and comfortable. The two staff (one male one female) behind the bar on Thursday 3 April could not have been more helpful and lovely. The food was beautiful - fresh cooked, well presented and great value for the lunch time 3 courses. The garden is lovely too We will make this a regular meeting place from now on...please take the time to praise the two lovely members of staff

Have been coming to this pub for years but was extremely disappointed tonight. To start with, our glass table was disgustingly dirty, and full of smears. The service was incredibly slow with only one waitress serving the whole of the restaurant part of the pub, who seemed incredibly miserable with all interaction we had with her. Our drinks took forever and eventually a bottle of red was chucked on our table, with the waitor running off before evening opening. The food arrived and was substandard. The beef burger which we have had many a times, was very disappointing. The cheese was minimal ( previously famous for its huge amount of melted cheese) and the pork and scallops dish was dry, small and flavourless. Incredible shame and will not be returning ore recommending again.

It is a great spot for a relaxed pub experience and sunny day drink in the garden.The food was decent, offering a good selection of classic pub dishes, beer, sider and other alcoholic beverages.The staff were friendly and welcoming. The interior had a cozy feel, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal or a drink. While there’s room for slight improvement, it’s definitely a solid choice for a casual outing.

Keanu was just a delight; his knowledge was exceptional! From the wine list and food. He was considerate to all our needs/questions. As well as just being so friendly, open and engaging. He made our experience so wonderful. The food was super tasty and delicious! X6 of us had Fresh roasts and were loved them. I recommend more health food dish options though. I was disappointed to see only 1 salad option and I ended up making up my own dish with sides.

Keanu and Tom were very polite and happy to help. Damien was our chef. Food was lovely and served quickly. The cock inn is a dog friendly pub and it was lovely to see the dogs with their owners. A lovely place to have lunch. Good service, good food and nice atmosphere.

Sunday Roast terrible. Beef inedible, potatoes not cooked. Table dirty. Had to ask to be cleaned. Had to ask for cutlery each time different course. Complained about ladies toilets on arrival but still in disgusting state when leaving. Never go back as very bad.

A massive thanks to the team for making our birthday celebration fabulous - everyone had a great time and the buffet was fabulous!

We came for Sunday lunch. Food was really good and you get a good amount of food. I found the staff could cope as it was busy and not enough staff on that day. Otherwise will deffo be going back again.

Preciosa comida con generosa porción de almuerzo. Absolutamente encantador servicio sincero de Millie que dijo lo siento, ya que estaba muy ocupado y con poco personal. La mayoría del personal sonriente y servicial que pudimos ver. Lamentablemente teníamos una mesa de ubicación muy fría 29 y la gente y el personal cepillado por esa posición se sintió en un poco de un pasillo y muy pasado por alto desde todos los lados, mucho mejor si una cabina disponible, pero solo éramos 2. Lamentablemente muy ruidoso como tan ocupado, pero no cualquier falta del personal. Como comida tan buena quiero mencionar al personal chef de Dana, Alin y Adrien.
