Friendly staff, clean and good value for money. We went for breakfast and had a Set 2 which came with 2 slices of toast and either a tea or coffee. Decent size of breakfast, which came out quickly. Hash browns were excellent!

I've been here 2 times and no complaints whatsoever. The staff are friendly and good at what they do. The service is SO fast, I only waited about 2 minutes for my breakfast, and I could customise the traditional breakfast to take off an item and swap it with another fried egg, they didn't mind at all. The portion size is quite generous, they give you plenty on the plate so I was happy with the amount I've paid for. The atmosphere is nice, it's a very clean and cosy area with nice tables. Very comfortable to eat in here because of how hygenic the customer space is. I'd for sure come again, it really did cheer me up and I would be delighted to eat here again after my work

Worst place ever had breakfast. Horrendous overpriced food. Couldn’t finish it. Also got charged and extraordinary £3 for a flat white that normally comes free of charge in most cafés. A coffee that was bitter and burnt.

We popped into Barnet Cafe while passing through Barnet and it was as busy as ever! A 'sausage, egg and onion' roll was ordered and yes that was definitely 'the one!' It was amazing! A chicken salad was ordered as well as an egg and bacon sandwich and everyone was happy! The service was quick and friendly as always, paying didn't take long either. The recent refurb looks decent too!

There are loads of places in Barnet to grab a bite to eat, most of them will charge their own inflated prices for an overrated meal. Barnet Café will give you a decent meal at a reasonable price. No frills just decent food for a reasonable price. Will definitely go back.

The original staff from Jenny's (a short guy who did the cooking and a taller guy with a lazy eye who took the orders) were absolutely brilliant - the best service and best food ever, seem to have gone to be replaced with a bunch of amateurs who aren't anywhere near the same league of customer service or efficiency. But the current staff seem to have improved on my latest visit (they actually took my order within a reasonable time - I walked out before ordering the time before) and the food was top notch and delivered quickly. Seems to attract an older crowd of regulars, but if you keep yourself to yourself you'll enjoy a nice breakfast.

Popped in for a bite to eat before heading off to Allianz Park. It's about 5 mins walk from the tube station, so nice and close. Fast friendly service and great quality food

Seems to attract an older crowd of regulars, but if you keep yourself to yourself you'll enjoy a nice breakfast.

When I went in, the lad serving was cleaning a table. I could tell he wasn't paying attention to me and he didn't write my order down. When my food came, everything was wrong. I ordered black tea, I got white; beanburger, got vegeburger; no cheese, got cheese. I was in a hurry otherwise I would have made an issue of this. I've been in before and it was fine but lately, the young guy seems to be running the place and he simply doesn't care.

I had not noticed this cafe before. Unfortunately I had just had lunch but wanted a drink and they did me a very good cup of tea at a reasonable price. The menu is quite extensive and now I know it is here I will give it a go.

A very basic cafe, good prices but uses basic value food. Could be more hygienic and the staff more more happier. Has NO star rating from the authorities and they always rush you.

This used to be a jenny's cafe. Its now a better nicer cafe with a much wider variety of food. Had an all day breakfast for well breakfast and it was very nice would definitely come back if i was passing it or in the area. Didn't take card at the time of writing, didn't like the tea that was my only problem. The food was first class.

I've been visiting Barnet cafe (once known as Jenny's) since I was a young girl...I live in Australia now & recently returned to UK for a holiday. I returned to Jenny's to indulge in a bacon egg cheese burger n chips 😋 tasted the exactly the same as it did when I was a child. We also had breakfast, bacon egg sandwiches with black pudding on the side (lovely black pudding). Wish we had more places like this in Australia. Shout out to the two owners who remembered me from all those years ago......Bye for now

Popped in midday for a late breakfast, pleasant service and food arrived quickly although it was quite busy. Very varied menu, which should suit most taste. Will visit again if in the area.

Barnet Cafe is definitely part of the Barnet community. The cafe is placed on the corner as you come into the main high road opposite Barnet Church and will serve you whatever you desire! The menu has a full page of different fry up breakfasts but they also have plenty of burgers, jacket potatoes, steaks, salads, omelettes and also a kids menu. The staff all treat you like a regular and bring you plenty of smiles, interact with the kids which is always a winner for me. The food is always quick to arrive and the chips are really good as any side for something. My absolute winner is the Half Pounder & Chips, it's a good challenge and the burger always tastes amazeballs. Order it, eat it, enjoy it! Wooooooooo! I'm a big fan of omelettes, a cheese and mushroom omelette is good and nothing else, whatever you fancy, they can make for you! There have been a few times when the children's desert hasn't been available but they do try and duplicate them as best as they can. The place does get busy, Saturdays are predictable busy throughout the day as well, Sundays not as much. Throughout the week, lunchtimes can be a full house due to the Barnet College across the road. Barnet Cafe is a regular place for me, it doesn't matter what time of day, they always deliver the goods!
