Cocco & Delilah in Leicester

Vinimos por un té de la tarde de gallina el sábado por la tarde. La decoración es simplemente impresionante cuando entras, tantas oportunidades de fotos encantadoras, un ambiente agradable con música ligera. Saludo en la puerta con una bienvenida encantadora. Habíamos reservado el té de la tarde con champán y dos amigos estaban llegando tarde desde Londres, así que el gerente fue muy servicial, lo que nos permitió esperar para comenzar nuestro té de la tarde hasta que llegaron. Pedimos cócteles para empezar estaban deliciosos Cuando el té de la tarde fue sacado el miembro del personal nos mostró y nos dijo acerca de cada artículo que también atiende a los vegetarianos en un arreglo de té por la tarde separado. Constantemente nos preguntaron si estábamos bien o si necesitábamos algo. El único pequeño problema fue una llamada telefónica al día siguiente diciendo que pagamos mal como miembro del personal cobrado por el té regular de la tarde y no el champán y para preguntar si nos gustaría pagar por el champán a pesar de que fue su error Sin embargo, en la reflexión sí pagamos correctamente, ya que todos colocamos un depósito de £ 15 por el té de la tarde de champán hace unos meses : ) En general volvería atrás : )

Llevamos a nuestra madre a almorzar como regalo para el día de la madre. ¡Sin embargo terminó comiendo sola! Todos los alimentos salieron en diferentes momentos... Las habilidades de servicio al cliente del personal son inexistentes. Al preguntar por qué la comida tardaba tanto, el personal respondió «estamos tan ocupados»... (aunque solo había otra mesa) y aunque el personal no dijo que fuera grosero, sentí que la elección del idioma no era aceptable. Cuando la comida se servía (en partes) allí donde faltan elementos a los que el personal respondió «s**t , lo siento» al ser informado! El personal no parecía saber mucho sobre el sabor de las madeleines y respondió “no sé” cuando se le preguntó sobre qué ingredientes estaban hechos los artículos. La calidad de la comida no valía el dinero pagado. Deberíamos haber sabido que algo andaba mal cuando un establecimiento está prácticamente vacío un sábado soleado por la tarde. Nunca más comeré aquí...

Estoy sorprendido al leer algunas de las críticas aquí. A la llegada nos recibieron de una manera muy amable y nos preguntaron si nos gustaría un asiento de ventana alta o una mesa inferior con asientos presididos - muy lejos del establecimiento del que acabamos de salir! El servicio fue muy amable y la comida era absolutamente hermosa. Había música ambiental muy agradable tocando en el fondo y un ambiente encantador. Fue tan agradable que nos quedamos para el té y pastel después. El pastel estaba muy fresco y nada seco. Nos dieron mucha información local, que, como turistas, era inestimable. Nos pareció que era muy buena relación calidad-precio y nos fuimos de allí sintiéndonos muy satisfechos y, sobre todo, valorados los clientes.

Este es un lugar muy bien hecho, pero lamentablemente el servicio y la comida sobreprecio fue una decepción. El lugar tenía un ambiente incómodo y no estaría haciendo un viaje especial a la ciudad para esto. Escuchamos al personal hablar de nosotros cuando preguntamos si el bollo brioche sería tostado. La dueña no fue muy amable hasta que le dimos su opinión. Nos hicieron sentir como si fuéramos una carga para ellos. Es una pena, ya que el lugar tiene un gran potencial.

The Owner is really rude. All the staff just sits there and talk together on the counter. The owner has her screaming child running around the cafe. When I was going toilet downstairs I seen that one of the staff members was VAPEING in the kitchen near the door ( It put me off my food). In the toilets they was dirty. The milkshake are vile. And the food is overpriced as it’s what you would get anywhere else. £6 for some chips (RIP OFF)

We visited today as a Mother’s Day treat and was already put off by the fact the manager was very awkward when we booked in due to us having a Wowcher. All four of us HAD to have either vegetarian or meat so we couldn’t choose which one and when we told them we had a Wowcher they suddenly couldn’t accommodate us in the date they had said previous to this. When we arrived we were sat in what I would say was the worse seat in the place when other tables were available, we also had a stain on our table. We had booked for the luxury boutique afternoon tea. We did r receive the smoke salmon sandwiches as listed, or the sausage rolls and porkpie. Our cakes comprised of HALF of a French fancy, a macaroon and a scone with which the jam and cream was barely enough for one person let alone the two people is was for. When we asked about some of the missing items we were told ‘ that’s not on the Wowcher’. I have read and re read the Wowcher details and no where does if state we only received half of an afternoon tea because it is purchased through Wowcher. After only an hour our table was cleared away whilst we were still sat there talking, making it quite clear we were not welcome. Maybe you should remove yourselves as a merchant from Wowcher. Had we received the correct afternoon tea, I would have happily returned and pay full price as the place is very pretty and food is ok.

Me and my friends had a memorable afternoon. The food that was served was beautifully presented and delicious and the the decor is stunning. We will definitely be visiting again and will be recommending Cocco and Delilah to our family and friends ☺️
