I travel a distance to this visit this pub for the delicious food and amazing service by all the staff but especially Mike who makes you feel very welcome and recognise us then when we are not locals. Keep up the good work.

We called on spec my son and I No problem given table straightaway. Sweet and sour chicken rice Bakewell tart custard Just beautifully presented. Hot and delicious. Warmly welcomed by staff. Altogether a lovely lunch. Will definitely be returning

Not only has this pub changed so my NHS discount is now only applicable to me only not the bill and food only, we had a drop of the hat rare child free night and decided the 2 for 1 meal would be a good option but were told when we got there the 2 for 1 wasn’t applicable as we hadn’t booked. Never heard such a thing!

Wow, I have visited steadily over last year as my family have, going back to the 1950’s. Christmas Day, my wife and I initially popped to our local, not to far down the Middlewich Road located on a roundabout! Say no more apart from barely a Happy Christmas from sone of the staff!? So we went up to the Coach and what a difference. Warm and welcoming on arrival with several locals around the bar. Robin and Claira behind the bar and what a difference. A Happy Christmas and a complimentary drink for us both and a nice chat with the staff. So reminds me of when I use to own a pub locally to there in Minshull. Subsequently, we have had several meals and drinks and the same friendly welcome from all the staff, a special shout out to Becky who works at their sister pub but still went the extra mile to get to know you. Thanks Angie, Robin and Team for a great Christmas and continued hospitality.

I went in a party of about 30 for a Christmas lunch. We've tried several places over the past 12 years or so, some good, some ok, some poor. I think this was definitely the best yet - a well cooked main course served properly hot, well presented and delicious starters and desserts, with generous portion sizes. Congratulations and thanks to all at the Coach and Horses. Moreover very reasonably priced.

Proper good home made hearty pub grub. Wide selection of mains from fajitas, burgers, steaks, pies, fish and chips, the lot! Service was pretty good. Really cosy pub, just wished they had a better lager selection. Otherwise all good and will certainly be back!.

A fantastic place to eat..we go from work all the time because of the fantastic service and amazing food. There were 17 of us this time, we pre order the food everytime and as soon as our bums are down and everyone is there the food comes out immediately. The staff are always welcoming and will do anything to help.

Had a lovely meal with friends and the service and staff were lovely. The manager came over as well to say hello and ensure we had everything we needed, which was a nice touch. Unsure why the other review said they were rude as I was very happy with the service. Definitely visit again.

My husband and I had booked in for a meal ( Sunday tea time) We walked in to a very warm welcome and shown to our table. A a pleasant young waitress came gave us menus and explained about the Sunday lunch and took our drinks order. We went for the Sunday Roast which was wonderfull and plenty of it (fresh seasonal veg) onhot plates and piping hot also . We even had a chat with the Landlady and her husband who were very friendly and a lovely couple. We had a great experience here it was worth booking as it was very popular. Lovely clean warm friendly pub ( with great food at a reasonable prices) We Will Definitely be back soon

Tonight a group of 18 people colleagues and friends from Leighton hospital celebrating a 60 th birthday party, had a fabulous evening the food as always was served hot and all together, staff where very intensive and there aim was to achieve maximum service to our group and all other patrons in the pub. Passing through and drove past this pub so decided to stop for some food and a pint and was pleasantly surprised. Food was really good and staff were so friendly. Definitely would go back.

Went for dinner and all i can say… disgusting. The manager has a terrible attitude and unwelcoming manner. food was bland, service was lovely by young girls, but manager needs to sort her attitude out. The woman who lives upstairs does not have great people skills either.

Used to love this place. Food used to be reasonably priced, good portions, great service and nice staff etc. The last few times we've noticed the prices are slowly creeping up, the standard of food is slipping a bit, portion sizes aren't what they used to be and a bit of penny pinching going on (allowing pensioners to have kids menu items but not giving them the desert) and now they're adding a 10% service charge on top even if you leave a tip. While the last two points do appear to be perfectly legal they shouldn't be. The owners aren't exactly pleasant ether. We won't be going back anytime soon.

I was welcomed on arrival, selected a table and was given a menu and the specials for the day. I ordered from the specials menu and a blackcurrant cordial with ice. The meal was served promptly, and was tasty and well-presented. My drink was not served until I enquired at the bar. The venue was well-patronised, and I look forward to visiting again, as it was just over 2 years since I last dined here, in September 2021. Recommended.

We visited as a family of 8 and will not be returning. My daughter, 17 & new to driving accidentally parked in the staff car park. Rather than doing a shout out the actual landlord blocked her in, upon approaching the bar the woman was rude and said oh he will be 15mins despite him clearly being on the premises. When the equally rude landlord arrived he tried to explain that the faded sign and a staff sign that was on a light sensor was more than enough and we should be glad he didn’t clamp her. Customer service is not a thing to the coach and horses and will not be returning

Lovely food and great service. Only small gripe was that our server said the Yorkshire puds came with the roasts but on receipt of the bill we had been charged. It appears only the beef has a free Yorkshire. Mum is coeliac and it was great to be able to have a gluten free roast just a shame there was no GF choice in the free puds. However this wouldnt stop me giving a 5 star review as the food and service were spot on. The owner and the staff were extremely helpful and work hard to make your dinning experience a perfect one. Thank you and can't wait to visit again.

We went for dinner and immediately felt very comfortable. The starters, main course and dessert were absolutely delicious, home cooked and very well presented. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A very enjoyable evening and we will definitely return again !

Let down by POOR management! Credit to the chef, the food is amazing however should you experience any issue during your visit, don’t expect to get it rectified in a timely manner as the management don’t actually care and don’t take ownership of their mistakes.

Arrived at the pub we were the only customers in the pub at around 5.00pm approx we went in to order drinks at the bar and asked for a menu. They asked if we were eating outside we replied yes. We placed our order and when it was served we asked if we had to go to the bar for more drinks and were told we did. We did not want our meal to go cold so we went without. No one came to see if we wanted a dessert or coffee. In a time when pubs are struggling to survive I would of got that drink for a customer and been more attentive. A loss of about £30 what a shame.
