Love stopping here when I’m out with my dog! Great hot chocolate and coffees…I’ve never tried the cakes or scones but they look amazing! They’re very welcoming to dogs too and have some treats available. I’m one of those annoyingly fussy customers, and a decaf coffee with oat milk was not an issue at all :) One of the few places nowadays that actually offers you a decent sized cup too!

Stopped here a couple of times over the last few months. Most recently today with my two fitness and a horse called Teddy. Great wee spot and tasty, tasty cakes! I couldn’t decide between the cheese scone and the salted caramel brownie… so got both… and I can confirm that both were delicious! Staff are very friendly and there were lovely little touches such as Halloween themed chocolates and dog biscuits! Definitely worth a stop for a hot drink if you are walking that way!!

I often stop here for a hot chocolate when out walking the hills with my son. I’ve even hopped off my horse on occasion and brought him into the little courtyard as I order.

This is a great, friendly and well stocked cafe beside Clubbiedean Reservoir in the Pentland Hills. They do excellent coffee and there is a great selection of home baking, all with beautiful views. It's a regular stop for us on our weekend walks - in fact its often the destination for them.

We always stop for a delicious coffee and cake here after a long cycle, we were keen to try their tasty homemade scones which have been added to their cake selection and they were absolutely delicious, served with clotted cream and jam , a real treat and you always get a warm smiley welcome in the mix too . Only open Friday to Sunday so makes the wait worth while !

Visited this cafe for a coffee and a cake on a walk up the Pentlands with some friends. Jo and Una are so lovely and welcoming and provide a very enjoyable service. Would highly recommend to anyone who fancies a weekend wander up the hills.

Clubbie is a wonderful place to visit and should be at the top of your list of things to do when you're up in the Pentland hills. Situated on the edge of Clubbiedean reservoir, you can enjoy an array of cakes and treats while sipping on beautifully freshly-ground coffee and admire the stunning views across Edinburgh or across the water to the ancient hillfort remains on the far bank. The staff are wonderful and if you're lucky you might even get to say hello to the famous local celebrity Wilson, the friendliest black lab in all the world. All in all, don't miss out on a trip to Clubbie! It's top class.

Popular with locals and visitors. Nestled by the reservoir, it’s a 20 minute walk up from the car park and easily accessible especially if you stick to the track. The coffee is fantastic!!! Luxury hot chocolates go down a treat with the kids. Cakes, scones, soup and ice creams are all available. You can pay by card which is always a bonus. There are no toilets but there are toilets in the upper car park now. It really is a super spot to grab your goodies and have some quiet time by the reservoir. Una and the team are some of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet, yet another thing that makes the short walk worthwhile. Go enjoy!!!!

We have been visiting the Clubbiedeans Cafe now for some time, opening during the lockdown it was a welcome addition to the beautiful surrounding area. Jo and Una are the friendly duo behind the cafe, serving up delicious cakes, scones and proper barista coffee, along side, hot chocolates, soup, tea and soft drinks. The team are always super friendly and helpful. Our dog Archie is always made to feel welcome with the recent addition of homemade dog treats. For those unfamiliar with the area, there are tremendous walks around the the reservoir itself and further afield into the hills. We visit regularly and would highly recommend a visit to anyone from further afield. You can park a car at the bottom of the hill just off Bonaly Road, or up at the Scout Camp, where there are also toilets now provided by the council. The walk up is a pleasant 25-30 minutes.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the first class lunch served to us at the Wednesday Lunch Club in The Gift Tree Corstorphine. Started with a delicious Amuse Bouche. Followed with cheese and broccoli quiche. Served with baked potato and coleslaw. Pudding was a scrumptious berry crumble with custard. Together with a hot drink. Excellent value!

Popped into Picnics Takeaway for a quick lunch, chose their spicy chicken wrap, husband had spicy chicken on baguette. Both were stuffed with delicious chicken breast, chargrilled with spices, fresh salad, cheese, chilli sauce. Very filling, excellent value and friendly service.

This is a church cafe run by volunteers. It says it is an outreach cafe and an asset to the community - but this is hardly the case when the prices are off putting and more expensive than most cafes run as businesses. A very poor cappuccino cost £3.40 and my baked potato was nearly £8. It is set up in a church hall and the volunteers are pleasant but not exactly efficient (my baked potato was left on an adjacent table until I asked where it was). All the members of our table had their food delivered at different times so some were finished before others had started (we ordered together).
