Club Virage Beccles Aerodrome in Waveney

Breakfast and coffee was lovely ....but it was soooo cold that we had to keep our coats on to eat! Will come back in the summer and try again.

I’ve been here a few times now with family and friends and enjoyed the experience. It’s a very popular cafe, so always best to book. I’ve had their full English Breakfast each time I’ve visited and been very satisfied. Today not wanting a big meal, I went for a toastie. It was generously filled in my choice of bread, lots of dressed salad and a pile of crisps. The atmosphere is great too. Situated beside the Beccles Skydiving runway, there’s a stream of light aircraft taking off or landing, with parachutists falling from the sky. It’s an unusual experience, with lots of aircraft part around, like tables made from aircraft wings. The staff are pleasant too.

We are regular visitors to the venue and when we needed a venue for the celebration of life following cremation at Ellough decided to speak to them to see if it was possible. Well it was and they did a superb job. We hired the big Teepee tent which was an ideal size for the 50 people we expected. We left all the catering arrangements to them after saying a few things we would like on buffet and were not disappointed and there was a huge spread with regular top ups of sandwiches and fresh chips. Sadly couldn't eat it all but guests given boxes and foil so it wasn't wasted. Prices do reasonable for drinks we had an open bar for hot or bar drinks which was very reasonable indeed. The staff were lovely and helpful from first contact till we left. I'm sure word will spread that this is a great venue option for any cremation at the crematorium only 2 mins drive away.

Lovely setting and enjoyed watching the parachutists landing nearby. Food very reasonably priced and decent. The staff were all very friendly ... however, they were very slow ... we waited 10 minutes to be seated, despite booking. Drinks then took ages to arrive and the food a good while after. Longest wait was to pay - asked 3 times ... in total we were there for almost 2 hours! We just had light lunches and an ice cream. I would go again - but not if I had to be anywhere soon after!

My wife and myself had a helicopter trip and after we went to the cafe and bar. Truly an amazing cap for our day, friendly service brilliant layout, food cooked to perfection, coffee just as we wanted. We will definitely be back with friends soon.

Excellent food , we had haloumi skewers and chicken and vegetable skewers . Plenty of food thoughtfully presented and prepared. All very good value for money . The teepee setting was fun with aircraft wings as tables .

My. Daughter brought me here today She had been about 4 times We were in the teepee What. a wonderful place never ever seen such wonderful decor so tastefull done Food was excellent The two young ladies were lovely very friendly I would certainly recommend it to friends and family On way home in car couldn't stop speaking about it

Suggested by a friend and sat looking out over the airfield with a fry up, friendly staff and even though they were busy wasn’t made to feel inconvenient. Relaxing environment. Just explained a slight wait that was well worth it. Highly recommend.

I pre booked and flew into the airfield. Great A/G Radio, easy parking for aircraft. When we arrived in the restaurant it was very busy but were were accommodated in one of the 'pods'. a very quirky but ni e experience. Few menu issues with someone didn't go to the shops, but it just demonstrates that food is fresh. the Ham Egg and Chips was great. Deffo will return

Amazing food, atmosphere and very quirky. Very reasonably priced food and drinks. We all loved it! Watching the plans take off and land is great entertainment for the kids as well as the adults. Staff are friendly and just a great feel about the place.

This place was recommended to us and our 1st first was okay, so as our Granson loves Airplanes we decided to visit again with him and our Son for Breakfast. This visit i can only describe as APPALLING. On entering we found a vacant table which although hadn't been cleaned following last user's was available. After sitting and being ignored for 25 minutes i had to ask a Waitress for some Menu's, another Waitress brought them and basically just threw them on the table as she seemed more concerned with talking to her two friends sitting by the door, who by the way had arrived about 15 minutes after us and were now enjoying their drinks. We waited another 25 minutes and decided that now we had been here 50 minutes and still being ignored, our table had still not been cleaned or set and our order had still not been taken despite at least 3 Waitresses had walk past and cleaned other tables around us and placed Reserved notices on them. We left the Cafe at this point, i must say that in all my 59 years i have never had service (or lack of it) like this ever before, the whole situation was to say the least very embarrassing as we had told our Son how nice the place was. I will never ever recommemd this place to anyone, but i will tell everyone how appalling it is, which is a shame because i meet alot of Visitor's and Holiday makers and i am asked for recommendation's all the time. One last thing it is probably pretty pointless writing this as it seem's to me after looking at other reviews they can't even be bothed to reply.

We needed somewhere that is dog friendly so we can eat with Barney. The top deck of the bus was available with an excellent spot for us. I had the fish platter which was extremely enjoyable and filling, my wife had the ploughman’s lunch which was equally sufficient. Barney also enjoyed a gratis sausage. The price was reasonable and the service was pleasant and courteous.

My mum and I had taken a drive over here at about 1pm time for lunch and a drink after hearing how good it was. As I explained to the young girl on the till could we have lunch and a drink outside as there...

What a wonderful find! The food is all homemade, fresh and generous portions and such good value! Inside is a quirky, creative space and outside a fun and colourful veranda. Everyone is so friendly. We love it!

Came here for Jubilee High Tea and what a great experience. The staff were friendly and the High Tea was really great value for money. The 1940's Singers were very good and got everyone singing and involved with the event. Overall a great day and...

Came with family to have brunch. Cafe is great a real gem. Friendly staff and atmosphere. The open decking and covered area overlooks the runway and you can happily sit and watch the planes, helicopters and parachutes landing. We will definitely be back

Visited on Mothering Sunday for their set menu. Very good value for money and food was amazing. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our visit enjoyable. Even on a lovely sunny day you can watch the helicopters and planes landing...

In our experience a fabulous cafe to call in for breakfast or lunch. Excellent choice on the menu, all cooked to a very high standard. Staff are just so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it as a place for aircraft to land!

10 of us went to lunch... restricted menu but there was plenty enough to choose from....food lovely and hot, waitress was a pleasure , all I all cannot fault....some of my group had never been before but they were v impressed....

Definitely a must for amazing food at extremely reasonable prices. Such a quirky little place set on Beccles airfield with something always going on. Staff couldn't be more friendly, attentive and welcoming, you definitely won't be disappointed.

Lovely food, always great friendly service and prices are cheap and affordable. Indoor and outside steering which is great to have a choice depending on weather
