We endeavour holiday in Millbrook by enjoying breakfast at the Cliff Top Cafe. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent. An added bonus was that the strong white coffee I ordered was piping hot and perfect. Highly recommended a visit here for the staff, food and gorgeous view.

We stopped there for lunch on the way to the beach. It was sunny and the view from the outside tables was amazing. The staff were friendly and I found that the selection of food was much better than I had expected. I had a jacket potato and my son had a pasty but there was a wide range of sandwiches and salads available, as well as fresh cakes and pancakes. The food was fresh and tasty. I also had the most fabulous carrot cake. It was reasonably priced. Overall a good experience.

Lovely little cafe at the top of the cliffs. Short walk from Freathy and a very welcome stop-off after a walk on the beach. The Cornish Pasty and the Prawn Salad were nice. They were at the top end of cafe prices, but you’re paying a premium for the setting and it absolutely delivers. Staff were lovely too.

Food reasonably priced for location, excellent service and all the meals were tasty and fresh. Dog was very welcome and didn’t feel rushed out when we were finished

Extremely unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude. Dogs definitely not welcome. Or people so it seems. Shame as was hungry and ready to spend some money but owner just scowled, told me to leave as she had “just spent time mopping the floor”. Followed by “get your dog on a lead”. My dog is 13, can barely walk let alone cause any bother. As there were people sat outside and the doors were open one would assume they were open for business. Close the doors and put a notice up if you don’t want customers. Simple. Won’t try and visit again. Plenty of other super cafes in the area. Nice views though.

We were there twice and had the really good jacket potatoes with fresh salad. highly recommend. The people working there were very friendly and we loved the view.

You know when you go out ‘splorin’, trying to find little gems, without looking in any particular place. Found one! Wandering down this little road in the car I spotted lots of chalets clinging onto the cliff, so I stopped and had a look. There was a path going down amongst them too. Private little holiday homes, so no bigger that the garden shed, some like bungalows. Then I spotted the cafe. Feels like breakfast to me. All day breakfast, not huge but satisfying enough for the price, and I had a fresh mango smoothie. My favourite. I only hope I can find the place again! If you found this useful please click below. Best place to catch up with friends whilst enjoying the stunning view, with the addition of great food and drinks available. Reasonable priced, staff friendly, will definitely return

Visit this charming cafe every now and again. It's a lovely place and offers a reasonably priced good meal in a great location. Owners are friendly and helpful! A real must go! Oh and a good place to go if you have vegan guests!

What a great place. Good food , excellent staff and well priced. Had the all day breakfast and a proper pot of tea. IN A PROPER TEAPOT ! This cafe is an example to many others in the area.

Great place. Crab baguette and a cup of tea served by friendly staff overlooking the majestic whitsand bay. What more can you want!

What a hidden gem this is. Tucked away but accessible, the welcome and service was friendly and efficient. Really nice coffee at very good price. Didn’t eat today but the menu looks tempting and again the prices were reasonable. We shall return soon for breakfast!

Called in this morning for coffee and toast.Cappuccinos were lovely and hot, and not consisting of a cup full of froth and little coffee.Toast and jam excellent value.Menu looks good and well priced.Great views.Path down a little uneven, so care needed on the steps.

Excellent food, friendly Owners and staff, a very varied and tasty menu at very reasonable prices. Seating available inside and out and superb views of the coastline and out to sea and the Eddystone Lighthouse

Descubrimos este lugar buscando Playa Whitsand Bay. Sólo destina a la parada para tomar un café, pero la hicimos el almuerzo cuando vimos el menú.

a group of 6 of us met up for breakfast on a foggy morning but the view ( when the fog shifted) was great. It was a busy morning but the staff were quick and friendly. The food was hot and tasty.

Vale la pena encontrarlo, super vista a la bahía, excelente comida a precios razonables, los desayunos y los bocadillos del desayuno para morirse. El personal es agradable. En el interior y asientos al aire libre. Situado a 50 metros por un sendero peligroso con parking de carretera en la cima. No es bueno para personas de movilidad reducida. Más caro - Local ensalada plato de cangrejo 8 libras. 50 (cuando están disponibles).

Hemos estado visitando el Acantilado Cafe en Whitsand Bay durante unos cuantos años y nunca deja de sorprendernos. El personal es muy amable, la comida estupenda cafetería que van desde el completo para frituras o bagels y buena plowmans café/té. Las vistas desde este lugar son espectaculares y su gran poder sentarse fuera en el verano (o más caliente los meses de invierno) y mirar la bahía y en un buen día, pasando el faro eddystone. No puedo recomendar este lugar!

Hermosa ubicación con vistas fantásticas en Whitsand Bay - comida recién preparada - desayunos, sándwiches, bocadillos, ensaladas, etc., bagels A un precio muy razonable y a la cafetería de la playa perfecta, tiene la mezcla perfecta de estilo informal, playa y amabilidad!! La gente viene desde lejos y amplia para este precioso lugar llueva o venga brillar. Ben y Louise han creado un lugar para todos.

Really enjoyed our meal at The Cliff Top Cafe - exactly as described with great food and unique location, Local Crab Salad was absolutely delicious, probably one of the best we have had for years - I opted for a Falafel wrap, delicious with salad...

Gran lugar, bien equipadas. Elegimos un bollo, cuajada y mermelada con nuestro té. Los bollos eran fantásticos. El lugar estaba dirigido por dos señoras encantadoras que teníamos ganas de estar de servicio. El té era fuerte gracias a Dios. El menú tenía muy buena pinta...

We were here today for lunch and have been coming here for many years. The friendly staff provide deliciously simple, reasonably priced food in comfortable, welcoming surroundings. It has remained wonderfully unpretentious which only adds to its charm.

Spent a day in Cawsand with friend last week and walked up to the Cliff Top Cafe for lunch, what a lovely place. Had their bacon and mushroom bagette and a latte, bagette was full of lovely thick bacon and packed with mushrooms, excellent value. Fantastic views and very friendly staff. They are also dog friendly. Was going to keep it a secret, but a shame not to share - well worth a visit.

We spent a week nearby in a chalet overlooking the beautiful sandy beach. Sadly the cafe was closed when we arrived on the Saturday & didn't open till Tuesday. But from then on we ate a hearty veggie breakfast & late lunch for the rest of the week. The food was great. & very good value. The staff very nice & helpful. We can't wait to go back.

I loved my visit to the picturesque cafe in cornwall!! Me and my Granny were visiting Cornwall from South Devon and enjoyed every moment, especially as we had just got out of the car. I had a bacon sandwich, and my granny had a lovely salad. I will definitely come back if passing again! Btw staff were very friendly and lovely.

We were staying in one of the chalets on the cliff close by so naturally used this cafe for breakfasts and the occassional cup of coffee. It seems to get great reviews everywhere but I am rather at a loss as to why. Nothing bad, just food service very slow, average in quality, and quite expensive for a cafe. Portions on the small side as well. Its ok, just ok.

The review below about rude staff is completely wrong and most definitely about the view and not cliff top cafe. Ate here 5 mornings whilst on holiday in whitsand bay. Beautiful views of the bay and exxellent service very accomodating to needs. Just what you need to start off your day :) will miss it very much.

Their bacon/bree sandwich was decent as far as bacon butties go - bacon and bree is nice, even on bland white bread. At around 4 GBP it was expensive: I'd have expected freshly baked bread or a baguette for that price.On the other hand it's situated in a beautiful location, and the coffee was about as good as you can get in the UK...

Visited here for brunch a couple of times during a recent stay in Freathy. The service is very friendly and efficient, food is fresh cooked and excellent. portion sizes are spot on. My son recommends the chicken and bacon sandwich - it was bursting with loads of chicken and topped with some excellent bacon. The views are fabulous. It's dog friendly at the outside seats & these are shaded by a sail or umbrellas.Definitely worth the walk down the cliff

Relaxed and informal - you find your own seating and order at the counter. Great breakfast menu (inlcuding delicious pancakes and bacon and maple syrup!) and a fabulous view. Dog friendly. People friendly!

Lovely views, nice owners, good veggie breakfasts, perfect hangover food and beach to boot.Great place at any time of the year. Good as a couple, family or friends. Not posh but clean and pleasing to the eye :)
