Me & my mum stopped off here for haddock & chips for our tea. It was delicious - great value, with good size portions and proper home made mushy peas.

Shocking on all levels called in with family for lunch seriously service abysmal food was in edible what a complete an utter waste of money even the seagulls turned their noses up due to been with elderly Aunts i never kicked up a fuss just paid and left. I honestly believe anybody should avoid this place at all costs.

We called in today for a bite. Lovely weather so we ate outside. I had a lovely steak pudding with chips washed down with a nice white coffee My wife couldn't resist a slab of vanilla slice which was nice too. Despite it being pretty busy table service was extremely quick served by hard working and cheerful staff Well done to front of house staff and those who you don't see busy cooking. Will we come back? OF COURSE WE WILL.

Another restaurant where you order at the counter and pay up front. We had two roast dinners, the meat and gravy were tasteless even after seasoning was added, the veg were overcooked, the chips however were excellent and I wish I'd just got a big bag of chips as I thoroughly enjoyed them. A great shame.

We called in here for some lunch and had probably the best fish and chips we’ve ever had .. it really was that good! Very light batter on the fish and chips that didn’t leave feeling ‘heavy’ if you know what I mean!! Well recommended!

Terrible meal. My partner had haddock and chips, the fish was so greasy and the chips were definitely not "home made". I had the seafood bake which again had fat floating on the top, it had obviously been heated in a microwave and the chips were dry. So disappointed as we used to come here regularly with my parents and loved it but it has certainly gone downhill and expensive.

We visited yesterday in the lovely Cleveleys sunshine.. We've been here before so decided to call back in. Prompt efficient staff served us. We had coffee and tea with a slice of delicious cheesecake and ma wife had strawberry flan. Blooming lovely. Lovely decor too. Will we be back? OF COURSE WE WILL.

Love this place, so reliable and tasty and reasonably priced. Favourite place for fish and chips. Staff always friendly. Only minor gripe is that they sometimes need to drain the fish better before putting on the plate - but they do most of the time!

I remember being told once, by the owner of thus establishment, that only the best quality was good enough to serve to his customers. That was in the heady days of the 1990s when he was discussing his latest allover advert tramcar with me when I was commercial manager at Blackpool Transport and I remember wondering whether that ethic would stand the test of time..... Well I am more than pleased to say it has! After a trip to the local cinema, my wife and myself went to Cleveleys Kitchen for late lunch/early dinner at 3pm and were MOST DEFINITELY NOT DISAPPOINTED. My wife had the large steak pudding with chips and gravy and a side of mushy peas. I had steak pie, chips and gravy and both pudding and pie alike were fully of delicious chunks of lean, juicy steak. With a large soft drink and a coffee, the bill was less than £25. Excellent value. Well done Mr H and your team at Cleveleys Kitchen. Your staff are always friendly too.

Visited during a family holiday for dinner. I had the home made steak pie which was lovely. Plenty of meat crammed into the pie. Just what I’d hoped for. Staff were pleasant and the cafe is nicely decorated. Good place for a bite to eat at a reasonable price.

My husband and I had small fish and chips, supposedly home cooked the chips were dry frozen ones, the fish portion was extremely small. , batter doughy and undercooked,,, our 10 year old grandaughter asked for a cheese toastie! Well, she got one slice of the cheapest bread ever hardly toasted with cheese on and an empty slice cut in half!! £6.25 !! A milk shake with watery milk and hardly a taste of chocolate at all…. 20 p for sachets of sauce then we realised £1.30 each for mushy peas , dessert spoonful in a little pot .. our bill was over £26 we didn’t realise until we got home that’s why they keep sachets under the counter and ask how many you want!! NEVER AGAIN, so annoyed that I didn’t take our food back and ask for a refund! Especially the “Cheese Toastie “ total rip off 😡😡😡

This is a very clean, welcoming and friendly cafe, we absolutely recommend a visit here as we visit each time we're on holiday in Blackpool. Food and drink is reasonablely priced and we've never had a bad meal it's always fantastic. And a big shout out to lady with the blonde hair that served our coffees each morning, she always remember our order and is a gem!

I ordered the stake pudding and chips, my wife the roast beef dinner, can't really fault mine was OK nothing special. The home roasted beef dinner was something else, the beef looked and tasted like the frozen stuff you get from Iceland. The Yorkshire pud was made from a recipe that resembled bread, impossible to cut with a knife and indigestible. Donte is a kind way of describing the veg, or uncooked is another way. Good news was the mash was on the button, Go up the street to wetherspoons or the tramway, better value and more than 100% better than this place.

Having visited Cleveleys Kitchen a number of times, I was disappointed on our last visit in April. However, we decided to give it another go yesterday. My wife ordered her favourite, which was Steak Pudding, while I ordered the regular fish. We both ordered mushy peas and a coke. Both were fine, although the fish was on the small side, which was disappointing considering the price. When ordering, we were asked how many sauces we required, to which my wife didn't give much thought to and just said x2 red and a tartar sauce. On our return home, I happened to look at the receipt, which was £24:90. I was then drawn to the itemised pricing, which listed 3 lots of sauces at 20p each. I found this very disappointing that the establishment was charging for sauces, especially when eating in. I may be wrong, but Im sure this is the first time we have been charged for sauce when eating at a cafe / restaurant. I'm not sure if the sauce cost is listed on the menu, but I doubt we will be returning and will look for an alternative. We did use salt and pepper, but as this was not listed on the receipt, I presume that it was free.....

First and last time we will visit, Staff on counter were very nice, the waitress was just the opposite, blooming miserable, needs to look for a more suitable job, ordered Scampi and chips, don’t think the frying oil had been changed this year, they tasted bloody disgusting,

The food was edible at best. What really irritated me was that after paying £6.75 for a toastie , I asked for some additional mayo and was told the charge was 20p per sachet. I think this should be included in the cost of the meal. Also the plate the toastie was served on was horrendously chipped and I would suggest unhygienic. Ordered two big breakfast as I was sharing mine with my grandaughter, I must say this was a favourite of ours for years but not anymore everything was deep fried couldn’t eat the bacon as was black and hard sausages re heated in a deep fat fryer , won’t be going again . I’ve eaten here before and found the food decent if pricey but today stopped off for two glasses of coke as it was scorching hot. Two pint glasses of warm draught coke, they didn’t have ice cubes, cost £8.50! Never again.

We go to Cleveleys Kitchen on a regular basis and the menu is quite varied. Whether you are looking for a full breakfast, a snack, a cake or a meal you won’t be disappointed. The fish and chips were delicious. The lady who was booking everyone in due to COVID19 was excellent in keeping everyone two metres apart and distributing hand gel. Well done!

Excellent tea and desserts. Nice crockery, individual pots of tea and pots of hot water. Traditional tea that we wanted. Good covid 19 precautions too, while the rest of Cleveleys seemed hit and miss.

Called in for afternoon tea but was met with a rather unpleasant smell. Not sure if it was an unclean kitchen but it had a strong over smell of bleach. We’d had a long walk so they decided to stay. Cakes on display looked fabulous and the drinks were okay but the unclean toilets (4empty rolls and no tissue in one, when were they last cleaned) and unclean smell means I won’t recommend it or return.

As a regular customer of Cleveley's Kitchen we noticed the cream cakes were not as superb as usual before Xmas. We were delighted on our visit on Monday to find they reverted back to the good old cream and they are once again 5*. We have not seen the girls on duty on Monday before but they were both wonderful and helpful making our visit even better than ever. We love the new-ish murals too!

The food was quite good with a good choice of down to earth fare and service was very good. The only thing which lets it down was a kind of kitchen smell as we went in (but not in a good way - a bit like a greasy extractor fan) which was a bit unpleasant but didn’t put us off eating there. Maybe the carpet could do with being deep cleaned or something?

Took a tram to Cleveleys Kitchen for brunch and decided to order small fish and chips as it was lunchtime. When it arrived I had trouble finding it (was hiding behind a chip) I have visited many times in the past for breakfast which I can't fault but this has put me off going again. If you have no alternative and you are hungry, stick with the breakfast would be my advice. If you want fish stick to Kay's Chippy just around the corner.

I visited with my family in October and we all had great fish and chips, the best we’ve had in a while. Between us we had two battered fish and one plaice which was breaded, all were fantastic. Great to see the place was liscensed too, and Mum and I shared some wine with our tea. I bought a scone from the counter but was too full to eat it there so brought it home and it was delicious.The staff were very friendly and looked after everyone very well.
