Cleopatra Grill in Cardiff

If I could rate les than a 1 I would. Extremely rude staff, horrendous delivery time and even worse food. These guys have not a clue on running a successful business, not a clue how to cook and have the worst customer service I have ever come across. On the phone I was told ‘check yourself into a mental hospital’ and ‘we have to ‘f***ing cook your food before we deliver’.

Ordered food from here as it used to be amazing, but tonight was abysmal!! Not only did the change my deliver hour an hour later than it was originally supposed to arrive, because I asked for an update on delivery, I was called threatening and I was keeping him from his work. I told him that the food would arrive cold and he blatantly told me the driver had left 5 minutes ago. Since that phone call, he has now changed my area as too far to travel!!!!!

Ordered food to be delivered tool money and cancelled order. DO NOT ORDER you have been warned.........................

Ordered for my fiancée in Cardiff Wales, delivery took more than an hour he received his pizza in terrible condition. ordered the order one and get one free, they forgot NOT the free pizza but the pizza I ordered with stuffed cheese for him. The pizza was regular and hours later he got really sick from it. Has been throwing up All morning. Never ordering there.

Went out of their way to cook our order, genuinely blown away by the flavour and quality of meat. Can’t wait for return

The food is delicious. The workers there are so lovely and welcoming and very sweet. They have different options and the price is worth it. Overall restaurant is great. Defo recommend :)

This is the 4th time we’ve ordered from here even though the pizza is nice it’s not worth the 2 hour delivery wait. The boss is very rude when enquiring how long delivery will be. I suggest thy move to pick up only. Will not be ordering again.

Ordered online on their own website - owner was highly abusive when we rang after 90 minutes to see how much longer it would be. After being told it would be another hour cancelled the order. He then changed the order status to completd and charged for it. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID! !!

Today I made my third order at the cleopatra grill and I am increasingly amazed at all the care and consideration we receive from them, quality is 100 percent in everything

Sorry guys you got it wrong tonight. Ordered from here a few weeks ago as heard how good you were, and it was amazing. Tonight, the food was soggy. Your fries which were lovely hot and crispy last time were luke warm, and exremely limp and soggy, as was the burger and garlic mushrooms.. Not impressed, won't be ordering again, I can get soggy luke warm food from numerous locations around the city at a cheaper price. Real shame! UPDATE: no not a fake review, I reposted as you had not even bothered to respond to my first review. So it seems you have not learned anything about customer service, your response should have been that you are sorry that i felt the food was not as good as it should have been. Clearly I am not fake as I also stated how amazing the food was when I ordered previously from you, so I was completely fair in my review, and I was certainly not offensive, which you have been in your response. I would have come back if you had replied in a better manner, now unfortauntely I will not be back, and neither will the people I recommended you to, learn some manners, and how to treat customers, you may get further. :-)

Don't eat here, they refuse to pay their staff what they're owed.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. My partner worked for them as a delivery driver and they are now refusing to pay him for his hard work. The manager is rude, abrasive, and used sexist language when I went in to politely ask for my partner's hard earned wages. Disgusted with the place.

Absolutely fumming is an understatement! Order arrived and it wasn't what we ordered! Delivery driver was messing around. Phoned the restaurant they assured that it was the "right" food an said the delivery driver didn't know what he was on about!! Low an behold the order was a SPICEY Pizza, kebab wrap and what looked like lazania was actually donner meat "lazania"🤢🤢 Never will I order from here again!! Never had a problem until tonight!! Will be getting my money back through just eat too!! All was a rush job and one looked bor tasted appetising 🤢🤢

The food turned up an hour late .Delivery guy says " I've given you a free bottle of drink" when it was actually a bottle I ordered and paid for.Chips were cold and not many of them and the burger had black bits in it.

The owner is very good friend of mine and we worked together at park plaza in town so I can 100% guarantee the food quality is nothing but the best. Portion sizes are amazing and price is more than fair for what you receive 👏 we'll done bro happily working my way through the menu and I can't fault a single dish. Delivery time is rapid, staff and delivery drivers are friendly. The best takeaway in Cardiff

Interesting fella. Was stood outside minding my own business (waiting for my other half who was in the chippy next door) and got threatened really quite aggressively for blocking his door (I wasn’t) as it was bad for business. Suggest seeking help bud, or at least having a cup of tea, your reputation on here seems to precede you, and that’s what’s bad for business.

Very good chicken kebab. The best tasting food in Cardiff hands down. This place is a must try, the delivery is MMA fast efficient! I will be definitely ordering from here again. The best tasting food I have ever tried.

Genuinelly the worst pizza i've had in a long time. Came all squashed up in one side of the box, had a few slices and through the rest away. Forgot the dip i ordered as well. Absolute waste of time.

Best chicken shish in cardiff but Delivery is always late by around 30 minutes and the delivery driver just laughs about it. Great restaurant, rubbish delivery!

Can’t fault the freshness of the food from cleos. Literally ginormous portions and beautiful chicken shish. Lamb donner and lamb shish both need a lot of improving. Gristly lamb donner and chewy lamb shish. Small improvements go a long way. Flavours are insane tho. 7/10 for me. Deffo worth a try.

I’ve been having their kebabs for a few years but omg had one the other night delivery late, cold, tasteless, a drizzle of sauce!! God awful. Tried phoning 3 times to complain got cut off. It must have changed hands as the food used to be excellent. WONT BE ORDERING AGAIN

Disgusting food The order came 2 hours late with no explanation The driver squashed the pizza boxes and I was left with toppings all over the box The driver was stinking of cannabis which didn't impress me at all The chips smelt like someone had cooked them in oil which is probably 2 years old Once I called I was insulted by the owner who told me to f off I spoke to a lady who kept blaming me about the upside down pizzas I wouldn't serve there food to my dog let alone eat it I have contacted the hygiene people as this kind of food and service isn't good for human consumption

Food is great so are the portions, but delivery is horrible as its always late and the Manager and/or owner is extremely rude They have the habit of cancelling orders without reason or notice after waiting for hours They also have the habit of calling and begin to verbally abuse you saying random things, in my case he started to say he will never deliver to me and did not give a reason only claiming saying I gave him a bad review for being late he continued to make abusive comments and even went to the extent to bring in religion into the argument, why? I honestly dont know

Great food! Great portions! One of the staff phoned me up to let me know they ran out of chicken on my mixed kebab and offered me a perfectly suitable change to my order. Very polite and very impressed!

I will give two stars because the food which did eventually turn up was excellent but the abuse I received on the phone after complaining that our order was 45 minutes late was completely unnecessary.

Ive never actually eaten food from here but while waiting for chips from the place next door they started having a go at a man for standing on the pavement. It was really weird.

My god this was this wrap was some thing else it was nice very very big compare to marious and tuckin there wraps r small but this one was the one I loved it very much

Ordered from Just Eat. Waited in the lobby of our building as it was cold but we could see the road. No delivery drivers ever pulled up outside. Called the restaurant and they said they had tried to deliver and contact us. I then asked if they would offer a refund or redelivery and he said refunds are through Just Eat, so I asked about a redelivery and got sworn at and hung up on. Will not be ordering from them again!
