Stopped in here for a quick lunch and ended up having the best Italian food I’ve ever had in Belfast. Friendly staff and genuine authentic lasagne and carbonara topped off with home made canolo. Great value too. I would highly recommend.

A totally unexpected pleasure. This is a completely authentic Italian experience offered by a couple who really know their food. The quality of the antipasti alone makes a trip here worth time and expense. Offering the very best in pasta and carne meals, presented in an honest and quietly confident manner... which is absolutely deserved. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

I really enjoy coming here, both for the lovely food and friendly owners, Rachel & Christian. They provide both fry, burgers etc of a more local cafe fayre but specialise in Italian food - and it is really tasty. Christian the chef is Italian so is cooking genuine Italian dishes using quality ingredients, to a high standard. I usually choose whatever the weeks 'Special' Italian dish is and am always highly impressed. Rachel, who is an Aussie, serves up the food with a smile and bit of chat & banter which I like. She also takes time to explain what's in the dish and how is made which is a help. They also sell Parma Hams, Italian Cheeses and stuffed/roasted peppers & polenta etc to take away - a few times they've made up platters for me for rugby afternoons which have always gone down well. Oh - The coffee & Tiramisu are great too! Grazie Mille Rachel & Christian, keep up the great work...! P.S. As has been mentioned by others, only cash is accepted. Also, while there is wheelchair access, there is no downstairs toilet, due to the constraints of the buildings structure..

This is by far the best cafe in Belfast. The owners are an Italian guy and an Aussie and they are the friendliest people you'll ever meet. They take great care in details and in making you feel super welcome. They cook the most delicious Italian and N Irish food, their paninis are out of this world! They import lots of Italian ingredients which makes their dishes and sandwiches amazingly tasty. Everything is made from scratch and absolutely delicious. Their pastries and cannolis are to die for! Kudos to the owners for their lovely place and their awesome welcoming atmosphere.

Great coffee. The cake looked good too. For an Italian cafe I was amazed there was no high chair so our toddler had to eat his bowl of stew in his pushchair. I really was taken aback at the rudeness of the female server. When we asked for garlic bread. Her response was "garlic bread is American, not Italian". Ok I get it you don't do garlic bread Just say it, and of course you are authentically 100% Italian and serve the best "Ulster Fry" ??? I had a frittata ( When I called it an omelette I was corrected) and a bowl of pasta and meatballs (btw it wasn't highlighted but meatballs is an American invention too) and a portion of stew for baby. Just over £17.

Omg the cheese! Found by accident, my partner and I both loved this place and he's a picky eater! We had a 'small' cheese and meat board, pitta crisps, Italian breads and olives, homemade hummus, to die for tasty, the meats and cheeses are imported from Parma, the chefs home region and you can taste the difference! The staff were friendly, funny and entertaining so passionate about what they do, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs so they had to pack up the cheese and meat for us so he could have the weekly special - salmon and pasta in guinness and I could try the lasagne. Now to my favourite the coffee, hands down the best in Belfast! A little surprised to be asked if I wanted marshmallows on my mocha but to each their own and the mocha (thankfully/finally someone knows what a mocha is) was made with chocolate powder and was thick and not sickly sweet - just as a mocha should be - I will become a regular!!

The soda bread was beautifully fluffy and all served with a big pot of steaming hot tea. I have been eating in Clemsons now almost every week for about the last three years. It is the home of the quality fry or the 'Stuffed Soda' How do they do it? Well Clemsons has been around a long time now. So they know about sausages, they know about bacon, black pudding etc. Their frys are as good as you get for a 'Northern Irish' fry producer. If not having a fry -say closer to lunch time? I tend to plump for their steak baguette. I have a runnig joke witht the staff in Clemsons -that some day 'I will break a tenner'What this really means to you the customer is that you can sit down. enjoy a tasty steak baguette, a fanta and a 'top up' filter coffee -all for less than £10.Great Job -Clemsons. Clemsons is lovely and friendly and geat value for money. It offers good wholesome food at really reasonable prices and is great for breakfast and lunch. I go regularly and it's always busy with a homely, unpretentious atmosphere. I'll be back again soon!

Love love this little place, the food is fresh and tasty and the staff are very friendly, they always accommodate me even when they are rushed of their feet, also made to feel welcome child friendly even with the pram. Richard is amazing even when he is super busy he has time for a chat. Just wish my granny was still around she would have loved it.

Ive found the food has def went downhill and prices are up. I feel they need to higher the standards or lower the prices. Food was very dry no side salad no butter or mayo etc def not what they usually would do.

Just on a visit home from Canada and had an Ulster Fry at Clemsons. It is by far the best Ulster Fry I have had yet. The sausages were absolutely amazing, the bacon was so very yummy, the potato bread, soda bread, mushrooms and eggs were all soooooo good and everything was cooked to perfection...all in all, very delish!!! High quality food and excellent prices. Very friendly atmosphere and the staff and owner made you feel very welcomed....one happenin' spot...don't miss out!!!

Called today for a quick breakfast on the way to Forestside. The cafe was very busy, but our orders were taken immediately. My filter coffee ( delicious) arrived quickly as did my partners pot of tea.Soon after my bacon sandwich arrived as did the cheese and bacon melt. My sandwich was made with lovely bread and good quality bacon. The melt looked tasty too, and was soon devoured. There's a great atmosphere, and the staff are very efficient and friendly. It's good that you can see the food being prepared in the kitchen.Prices are also very reasonable. Will definitely call again, next time I am that way. Pity I don't live closer!Try it...you will be pleasantly surprised.

My mum and I would try to call in at least once a week. The food is always perfect, so is the atmosphere. Staff are always able to put a smile on customers faces. Frys are never greasy and baked potatoes are delicious.
