Ordered bacon sandwich today from this shop for £1.95. One rash of bacon in a small bread cake! Asked for money back. No problem. But come on one rash of bacon! Be careful!

It has been nearly a year since I last reviewed Clark’s, although we have eaten here a couple of times since. This time we took two friends. It’s a very basic cafe but quality and service is great with good value. Once again I went for the all day breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. There was a steady stream of takeaway traffic proving that it is popular with local tradesmen. There is a good selection of bread that is baked on site, along with cakes and savouries. Highly recommended. All our party was happy with service, quality and value.

Called in to treat my daughter after waiting for someone to be bothered to serve me I then felt like she didn’t want to be there or serve me and in my opinion she was quite rude. Then I get half a hot dog bun with the driest slice of ham in it buttered or should I say smothered with some sort of margarine type butter substance my daughter tryed it and said wasn’t nice so I tried it and it was awful shocking for the price luckily I got a sausage roll for her would of taken back but was home by time I released.

We’ve had good, quality, meals here before so thought we’d try a Full English Breakfast and we weren’t disappointed. Service was quick, efficient and pleasant. The quality of the breakfast meal was excellent, particularly the meaty sausage and tasty bacon. Value for money is excellent too. We took home some Vanilla Slices from their takeaway counter for later in the day and they were excellent too. Passing traffic may be deterred from stopping as there is a constant turnover of parked vans / trucks using the takeaway service, but there is a rear car park that is not readily relevant.

We went as a group of about 18 for various breakfasts/snacks and it was spot on. The majority of us had the full English breakfast and it was delicious, I've never tasted better sausages!! The only fault was that we didn't get the choice of fried bread or toast, on our table we were given fried bread but we would have preferred toast, apart from that I would definitely recommend and if you're in a large party as we were ring and pre-book as we did so all the food comes out together.

I've reviewed here before on simple bacon butties and they were so good that we decided to try a full lunch. We weren't disappointed. They were doing a brisk trade on the takeaway counter which slowed service down a bit but it was still reasonably fast. The sandwich rolls were fresh and tasty and the meat filling was really thick. I chose beef and it was cooked to perfection with (optional) onions and horseradish. My wife was equally pleased with her pork, topped with Apple sauce. There was a good portion of salad garnish and it was crisp and fresh, happily without recourse to the modern trend of including curly, bitter leaves. Good value, nice coffee and good friendly service in a fresh, clean surrounding.

Small cafe as part of a bakery business. Service was pleasant and helpful. We ordered bacon butties and they came fairly quickly. Soft white bread rolls filled with a good amount of bacon. Coffee was reasonable too. A very pleasant interlude that hit the spot

We called in for coffee as we were passing through Easingwold. A really nice cafe and bakery with friendly welcoming staff. We sampled a Little tyke ( A Yorkshire speciality) and a sausage sandwich in a home baked sub roll both mouth waveringly tasty, with tea and coffee. This cafe is well worth the visit if you are passing through Easingwold.

Called in as visiting Easingwold and enjoyed a really nice bowl of homemade soup which arrived hot and with homemade chunky bread. it was delicious. all the food being served at the time looked wholesome and plentiful. They served meat and veg and pots and gravy. lasagne, pies and chips etc. they also did your usual toasties. the desserts are good old fashioned puds as well as the more fancy ones. All the scones and cakes looked very nice. The café was full which is a good sign and the relaxing atmosphere was very pleasant. All staff are very friendly and helpful and the prices all very good. our soup was delicious. they have a specials board and a standard menu so plenty of choices. If you want home cooked simply food from a nice bakery then do visit. We enjoyed our visit thank you. Rita & Graham / Louth Lincolnshire

This cafe offers a good selection of cooked lunches on the specials board as well as the standard menu. We get a bit fed up of paninis and jacket potatoes for lunch (which seem to be the norm in many cafes). Sometimes it's good to have the choice of a cooked lunch. This cafe 'fits the bill'. My husband had the homemade mince and onion pie with vegetables and I had salmon and vegetables. Both were excellent, good value for money and the service was friendly and efficient too. I've often found that cafes attached to bakeries are 'not up to much' and a bit disappointing. This is not the case here, so don't be put off!

We were with friends and walking along on the other side of Long Street and the welcoming smell of baking drifted over. We were snared. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was waitress service. We all had drinks, the others had toasted teacakes and I had a delicious bakewell slice. We also bought items to take away. The food on offer for lunch looked very appetising and reasonably priced - maybe another time. There are tables in the garden to the rear, along with toilets. It was not busy in the cafe area, but there was a steady stream of people coming in for takeaways.

Clarks has been in Easingwold a long time and is better known for the cafe and bakery outlet on the picturesque Market Square. This one is on the main long road running the length of Easingwold. This place and better parking and will attract those wanting the easy quick pit stop or for many in the area a quieter sitting spot. The baking is traditional but very good; they do a breakfast offering and roasts for lunch along with a host of others including soup, sandwiches, and other light meals. They do soft drinks and teas and coffees. This is more functional than the other places in Easingwold but perfect for that quick tea and cake or a very simple hearty lunch. Waitress service but without frills. Do not expect a pretty tea shop or slick stylish outfit, this is straightforward and functional but it is off the main A19 and a two minute walk into the market square of the pretty Georgian market town.
