Circo Lounge in Bournemouth

We had a wonderful time. The staff is very friendly and the service was excellent. We had two trays of tapas and it was really delicious. We've been few times and we always have a wonderful time. Definitely going again. And the atmosphere is superb.

We just happened across this !! Staff friendly. Good service. I ordered a flatbread with cheese but hardly any of it on it !! Apart from that a nice enough place to eat. Very busy when we went. Quite small so no seats outside.!! Didn't stay long . So didn't see loo sorry.

We visited Circo Lounge in Westbourne and even though we didn’t get the chance to order anything (they had run out of a few items by the time we arrived), we still had a wonderful experience. The hospitality of the staff was lovely — they were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel comfortable. The vibe of the café was fantastic too! We especially loved the cosy atmosphere and the open-to-sky ceiling, which gave the place such a refreshing and unique feel. We’re looking forward to coming back earlier next time to enjoy the full menu!

Went there with my girlfriend my girlfriend is a vegan she asked for a vegan menu did not give a one so she asked what's the food separate from meat version she had to go back to ask the chef do not understand why she did not know this I think she was a bit rude I think she had a wrong attitude

Popped in for some brunch and was very surprised with how good the breakfast was! Not greasy and well cooked. Service was friendly and speedy. Nice outside seating area to the back.

Great selection of food on the menu. Ordered the harissa chicken flatbread which was so delicious. Prices are reasonable compared to a lot of places now. Nice chilled atmosphere. Quick service.

We love this place, been back many times over the last 7 years and the food and service never disappoints, excellent atmosphere - full of lovely dogs. Today we had the Miami Brunch. Their coffee is also the best in this area!

New menu don’t bother with halloumi fries though £6.95 for very sorry looking 3 pieces of undercooked halloumi🤣 never again! Other food good though

Love Circo, so many great memories here and despite that is now part of a chain, circo really is the unique one.

I’ve been meeting up with friends here for years. I enjoy the atmosphere and the ambience, the decor, and the staff are always friendly. It’s a popular place there are always plenty of people in there.

Tapas Tuesday is a favourite. Ate later in the evening and discovered that the pub close at 22:00 so was rushed to finish it and leave.

Circo lounge is always familiar ~ friendly staff, great service either by scanning a QR code @ your table or ordering from the bar. Pooch friendly which is great! Food selection varied and filling!!

It's a chain pub but is good at what it does. Decent food and drinks, although we didn't eat here, but its exactly the same menu as other "lounge" bars so we know it well. A bit of a shame they don't do any real ales is my only criticism. Dog friendly too which is a bonus.

An average place to eat. The place was clean & staff were pleasant. My friend & I both had a bacon cheeseburger which was average, it wasn't bad but there was nothing about it that made it great either. £15.50 was a bit pricey in my opinion.

My sister and I had the most incredible experience at Circo! The service was OUTSTANDING (thank you Christian and Darren), the food and cocktails were superior, and we were mega impressed with the overall decor and vibe of the restaurant. I cannot wait to go back!

Nice atmosphere. Costs are good for beer, food etc. Good enough range of options on food, service is relatively quick (depending on how busy) and food is nice. Nice location too.

19/12/24 - I had the best ever Lounge Eggs with spinach and mushrooms. The eggs were perfectly poached, Hollandaise sauce just right, as were the spinach and mushrooms. My only grumble is that half a muffin is not enough to mop up all that lovely yolk! Maybe you could add another half muffin for mopping up, for a few pence more. It was a very busy lunchtime service, but the staff were very friendly even though they were rushed off their feet, but we still received our meals in good time. We were sat near the door (having been moved to a smaller table seeing as it was busy). Unfortunately, it was freezing every time the door was opened (and really annoying that people held the door open for others 😂). It would be great if a screen was put up to reduce the blast of cold air. Otherwise, Circo Lounge is one of my favourite places to go with friends Edit: Oops, the above review was actually about the Ludo Lounge in Southbourne! Another favourite place 😁

We went there yesteday. Ordered two hot chocolates. When they arrived they were luke warm. When we left I mentioned this to one of the staff who told me that if I wanted them hot I should have said. So if you want to order a 'hot' chocolate make sure you ask for it hot.

A few weeks ago (Thursday 14th November) I went to Circo Lounge with my mum and toddler. I felt like I needed something Healthy with a capital H, so I ordered a Buddha Bowl, expecting to have to choke it down… but it was DELICIOUS. So many different ingredients, all beautifully flavoured and beautifully presented. Hats off to the chef! A welcoming, family friendly place with great food and a cheerful atmosphere. We’ll be back :)

I would like to say Jo the manager is an absolute credit to your company !! The hospitality she gives is a 💯, the reason the Circo lounge is so popular is down to Jo , an all her staff , your feel so welcome when we turn up , the best place in westBourne by a country mile !! An that’s down to Jo an all her staff , an a special mention for Franko ,although the doesn’t work there so much now , when he did the he was just like Jo , love going to Circo , an the staff make that place !!

Been visiting all year lounges for years. The lack of a consistent standard isn't good enough. Sent our lattes back. Cold. I notice they are now in a small cup as opposed to a mug. Same price.secomd coffees were too strong.ordered vegan sausage sandwich. That's got smaller. Ordered 2 vegan toast. They arrived via a miserable member of staff. Two cold toasted on one side pieces of bread. No butter. Just jam! Told her we asked for vegan butter . She disappeared came back with 3 small normal portions of butter. Between the 2 if us. Then disappeared for another 5 minutes. Chucked more ordinary butter at us. No acknowledgement I had ordered vegan. Really poor show. Not good enough.

Lovely decoration and garden at the back. Sometimes it is too crowded and tables too close to each other, which can be uncomfortable with close loud conversations or people getting passed moving or tripping on your chair. I ordered a Chai latte with skinny milk, I was served one with whole milk which they kindly swapped when I told them, however they made the second Chai with semi skimmed, which I can't tolerate and on top of that it was tasteless, very milky and unpleasant, something slightly sweet, no Chai. I just left it as I just wasn't going to ask them to change my hot drink again!. I know what skinny milk taste like, semi and whole milk make me sick, so I left the drink untouched and paid £3.80 for it. It was horrible. Why not to just aknowledge they do not have skinny milk? Why lie to your customers? Very disappointing.

Popped in on a Sunday morning for breakfast with my dog and it didn't disappoint, my little girl was very welcome - Super dog friendly. Busy but a nice chilled atmosphere, the staff were easy going and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, the sausages were good quality, eggs cooked perfectly. The bacon was a bit overdone for me but that's just my preference! Couldn't knock it. The latte coffee was one of the best I've had in ages!!! Loved the salted caramel syrup too. Yum yum! Will be back again soon

Circo Lounge is one of those places that aims to cater to just about everyone, with an international menu that covers all the bases. Personally, I find that approach a bit risky; there’s something about having too many dishes that can leave the kitchen spread thin. It felt like Circo might have traded a bit of culinary focus for variety—fine for a casual bite, but it means they miss out on really nailing any particular cuisine. The place itself is much bigger than it appears from the outside, with a surprising amount of space and a lovely terrace out the back. Service was friendly and attentive, and you get the sense that they’re doing their best to make you feel welcome. Overall, Circo Lounge is good for a relaxed meal with friends, especially if you’re not sure what you fancy eating.

Lovely dog friendly cafe bar with a great vibe 😊🐕💕 Lots of mums, dads, and little ones here. Breast feeding friendly too. A mum on a nearby table started feeding her baby, and a member of staff quietly took her a glass of water, knowing she would be thirsty. So attentive and caring. 👏

Great place to go for dinner, Had a lovely meal and drinks. Such a good atmosphere, was served by Dan who was very friendly and was happy to help with recommendations on drinks. Definitely will be going back.

My personal experience. Too noisy- loud music playing, speakers around and no quiet spot. The Barista should try smiling. I'm coeliac and asked for Soya Latte. Have been ill since and I wonder if Soya milk used, or Soya prepared in jug that previously been used for Oat. I had spoken when ordering about needing GF. On plus side, they do have vegan options. It is popular, plenty of customers. Review based on one visit.

Hello, can I take my dog to the restaurant?

Love this place. Eaten here lots. 3 of us came on a busy Saturday lunchtime. Waited at the door to be told no tables and a wait. 20 minutes. (No problem for us. They were busy) Said we'd have a drink whilst we waited. Queued and ordered drinks at bar. Asked for table number. Explained we didn't have one as waiting for a table. Barmaid said we couldn't have a drink without a table number. Asked the lady who was front of house as she happened to walk by, and she agreed we couldn't order drinks without a table number. Couldn't you have created a table number, used one of the outside table numbers as no one was in the garden? We were just expected to stand by the bar with no drink and wait for no guaranteed given time for a table. We didn't. We left. And ate elsewhere. Such a shame. and a crazy system in place.

Love this place. Found it in July, been back 3 more times in July/August (and rarely eat out so that's a lot).

Lovely Carribbean curry and Nasi Goreng

I just don’t know how people can’t cook a fried egg properly. It’s either always over done or congealed and undercooked. It’s literally he easiest thing to cook. Sausage was anaemic as well and bacon overdone. Just don’t order a fried breakfast here, my partners food was fine. Some mediterranean Thing.

Very disappointed . Been to lounge restaurants many times in other areas . This was the worse one ! There was 8 of us . I had tapas very small portions . Another person ordered Parmesan chips with their meal . A handful Of chips . Virtually no Parmesan they sent them back they came out the same . 2 of us had banoffee cheesecake . It was as if they had ran out £7.25 a portion I couldn’t even find the cheesecake it seemed they had put whipped cream on top to cover the size . If I said I had to spoonful of cheesecake I wouldn’t be exaggerating . I would not go to This restaurant again !

First time eating here and very happy with the food. My partner and I had a burger each and our boys both had the children’s pizza. Very nice food, cooked well but I would say the plate did look a bit empty. Maybe some more chips and not in a small pot or side salad with the chips too. I was surprised how expensive the drinks were too. £3.95 for a glass of coke….. BUT! All in all a very nice place to eat, great atmosphere and the staff were nice too. Plus DOG FRIENDLY

Outside smelled really really bad, lots of customers moved or spoke about the smell of bins/fish. Have to order at bar and didnt have vodka/draught beers. Food distinctly average and was ready within 5 minutes, which was a bit weird. Sorry just wasnt very good.

Unfortunately I did not have a chance to eat at this place. I have left after about 15min of waiting when nobody approached me nor offered something to drink. When leaving I noticed a small label on the table with QR code on it. Too bad the service did not explain how the ordering process works at this place. I've never been there before. Apparently you scan the code and order via cellphone. I came in hungry and left hungry

probably my 4th or 5th visit over the years after a day at Studland Bay, Honey and Jess my labs were welcome as were myself and my teenage son. Food good and service quick as ever. As restored my faith in Loungers, after a very disappointing visit to one in alvern.

We went here for lunch. I had a sausage sandwich with fries and my husband had the soup of the day and a panini... Both were delicious. Great coffee too. The place is stylish and chilled out and the staff are friendly..

So Myself arrived on their premises this morning to do our service, met this Lovely Female Manager called Jolene, she was an Absolute Star, Excellent Customer Service, She was very Patient with us, whilst I was getting a tad stressed because certain technicians in our company don't do the services properly so had major issues on site with their urinals, explained to her they should be serviced properly, Luckily I managed to clear the blockage in the pipeworks thanks to my equipment, couldn't do my job without it..so thanks.. she is a credit to your company, she Went above and beyond today, helped with the cleaning and Even Helped me with all my equipment, so thanks to Jolene".. a Star 🌟.. #100 Customer Service, #100%, #Circo Lounge, #Bournemouth, #RSH..

Quite place, a bit overpriced on the food for average quality eggs pouchet from 4 eggs two of them where just boiled eggs poor decorated plate for small amount of food for more than 10£ a dish, the place is well decorated, it may be good for drinks maybe thanks anyway

There is not much to say about this place. Only one non alcoholic lager which they didn't refill in the fridge, so had to switch to low alcohol option which is not a favourite of mine. WiFi was non existent and 4g/5g connection was very poor. Other nearby locations were much better.

I love that it's not looks like the usual British place. Very neat place with fine food.

A nice group runs this place, who made me feel very welcome when I rushed in to do some work on my laptop, and sorted me out with a croissant that wouldn't go through in their app.

It’s just great. Everyone seems happy to work there. The food is great. It doesn’t hurt the wallet. Some peeps like the tapas but I get the chicken bacon salad. V filling. No guilt. Good place to meet or take the family for a meal where you don’t have to worry about the bill.

Very welcoming place to eat, a nice range of foods. I had the all-day brunch, very tasty 😋. Obviously very popular for lunchtime, with a number of families coming in. Ground floor disabled toilet/baby changing. I'll definitely be going again. Great idea👍 a card you can scan at the table to order and check for possible allergy problems.

For brunch today I had the smashed avocado with added halloumi and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! It was a good price (under £10 without the added halloumi) especially considering how delicious it was! A really tasty dish that arrived very quickly and was beautifully presented. My boyfriend had a full English that he demolished and said was amazing as well, again very fairly priced especially considering most places nowadays are so expensive! The whole place has a really homely vibe, very nicely decorated and with areas to just sit and have a chat and a drink for people of all ages- we will definitely return for a drink one evening!

Really grumpy and unwelcoming vibes from every single member of staff on our visit April 25th. Food was mediocre at best. Tenderstem brocolli was a nice side, dressing on the avacado toast was disgusting, cibatta sandwich was a soggy mess.

Inconsistent, awful beer! If you want a couple of pints don't go to the lounges if you like your beer. One beer is good ,the next is awful. Simingly no reason for it other than untrained lazy staff!

I had the lounge breakfast and I don't like hash browns so I had extra mushrooms instead. I also had a poached egg as I prefer it to a fried egg and it was swopped with no problem.

I enjoyed my visit at the Circo Lounge. I had tapas, squids, prawns, and potato brava. The food was delicious. The squids were cooked perfectly. The prawns were delicious. The potatoes brava were ok. We used the QR code on the table to order our meal. All in all, I enjoyed it and will definitely return.

Great for cake, breakfast, cocktails whatever you fancy. Good all round

I didn't eat on this visit, but had a Brixton ale. Not my favourite ale, nevertheless there's plenty of other beers available. Ambient atmosphere, smart decor and pleasant service from Sadie and her colleague. Will return and try the tapas.
