Circle & Slice in Tower Hamlets

Fantastic food, great portions, and always adding new things to the menu. I often go in the evenings, and the evening staff there are fantastic also - actually the highlight of the experience. Best customer service in London!

Great experience. Present and polite staff whom serve a great range of pizza, burger, cake, gelati(ice cream) and more. Its a small but joyful place to visit. And they got pizza slices for the quick and delicious meal to go. Definantly a place to re-visit. 5/5

We decided to check out this place while we waited for our Jack the Ripper Tour to start. You order at the counter and they will bring it out to you when it is ready. We had a Pepperoni and Olive Pizza and a Calzone Meat, which came with a salad. I loved it all. They didn't mind us hanging out for an hour and a half talking, which was nice. they were not too busy on a Monday evening, so, they did not rush us out at all. The only downside was the lack of a public bathroom, which meant we had to go next door, but, not a huge issue. This place is worth a look if you are in the area.

Lovely food but terrible service. Finished our meals but coffees never arrived. No apology or explanation given. Other customers came in & sat beside us but were ignored for at least 15 minutes until I asked the waitress to take their order. Table to the other side of us also had to ask for their coffees after they finished their food. Staff really letting the place down

Did our breakfast several times over here and also a fast diner. Friendly service. Have an own bakery in the cellar and for the specials they have a French and and Italian parties who make the specials like the croissants and the pizza crusts. Diner was good but it is no Michelin of course. Good ambiance and nice and easy music all day.

This spot is amazing for a nice breakfast. Their croissants are so fresh and amazing and their dirty chai latte is the absolute best I have ever had. They are very friendly and their fresh baked goodies warm the soul.

I'm in London with my 80 year old Dad for a late birthday trip for a few days - Friday evening food needed and 2 plates of spag carbonara requested from a really friendly lady - 2 big bowls appeared of really creamy hot and tasty food - much appreciated and left having been made very welcome and very full up - thanks to you and hope to see you again :)

Amazing pastries! The food looks and and tastes delicious. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Very happy with my visit, would recommend strongly if you’re ever in the area.

I was in London on business, our office is near by and I was staying in a hotel just up the road from Circle & Spice. I had passed here many times and never tried it. It was raining, it was late and I just wanted something good to take back to the hotel. I had a Diavola pizza and i have to say it was cooked perfectly, the base was lovely and it was made fresh right in from of me whilst I watched. I didn't try them, but in the window they have a wonderful selection of Cannolis, they look fab and next time I wont leave it as late and will get some to go with my Pizza. .. You can also eat in, rustic / authentic.. Welcoming staff.... Will be back

We visited twice in two days as we enjoyed the food and service so much. Great mini calzone, packed with filling and flavours, freshly cooked pasta was tasty and a generous portion. Followed by a second visit for gelato (great flavours) and cannoli. The staff are lovely, friendly and attentive.

The three of us went for two nights in a row. The pizza was fresh and hot every time. I ordered tomato and Mozzarella salad both nights and both nights it was tasty and generous. The ice cream was excellent! As were the sweets in the window. Chefs Kiss!

This place is really homey and it is an excellent price/quality. The service can be a bit slow sometimes but once ordered, the pizzas come very quickly. I am reading some of the comments and it really is a shame to put 1 star tbh. If you enjoy pizza Pilgrim, there are very similar. Keep going on guys!

Great halal italian restaurant. Pizza was delicious and lovely serving staff. I would've given 5 stars but the tiramisu contains alcohol so i couldn't have it. Why have a full halal menu if you're going to put alcohol in the tiramisu?? Will come back though as the cannolis were AMAZING!!

Went in person and ordered 2 gluten free pizza take away. At the moment of payment been told there were £3.50 on the top of the price listed on the menu for each pizza. When I opened the box to eat the pizza, realised just with a glance that 'thing' on the top was not mozzarella for sure. I come from Naples (the place where the very first pizza was made). Beside that I have got mozzarella makers in my own family. I know too well the look and taste of the real one then. The taste of that 'thing' was very far from mozzarella. The interesting bit came when I went back a couple of days later. Bought the two pizza on the 1st May and went back to complain on the 4th May, to be precise. Asked for the manager and this girl stepped in. She was far from being apologetic. She pointed out a small print on the menu where the £3.50 extra were written. Found that quite rude as I wear spectacles. Beside that since when a menu has to be treated like a contract?! Said to her the person serving me should have told me at the very moment I had asked if they made gluten free pizza. When I brought up the mozzarella issue, she called the pizzaiolo and let me deal with him. Found that appalling, never seen a more 'don't care' attitude from a so called manager (at this point I even doubt she was). The pizzaiolo was insisting about the mozzarella bit. That was simply ridiculous as I had introduced myself and where I was coming from. He was arguing that 'thing' on the pizza was mozzarella!!! I shouldn't have trusted that place the moment I read mozzarella written 'mozarella' with one z....... So appalling product, appalling customer service, appalling attitude, appalling management. Don't waste your time and money!

I ordered once from Circle and Slice with my boyfriend and they got both the orders wrong. I tried it again tonight and I called the restaurant to ask them not to put chili flakes (which they did last time as well when we didn’t want them), and they hung up on me and when I got the pizza it had chili flakes on it. Very rude customer service and poor quality. Would not recommend.

Visited here to collect my Too Good To Go order. First staff on entrance were quite rude and just ignored me till a server came along. The actual pizza was very tasty and had really interesting flavours too.

Okay so we ordered it with Deliveroo. But it was the wrong pizza. It had a very questionable gravy/sauce on it with potato and mushroom. We didn’t eat it needless to say. Just disappointed

It was about £2.20 I think for quite a large slice of pizza, which is not bad value by London's standards. Quite a casual eatery - staff friendly and there's seating inside. Well-located near the tube stop.

I have to visit this area on business quite a bit and love to stop here for a little bit of pizza heaven, staff are really friendly and even let us come in when it wasnt yet 11am, great place, very unique love it!

The pizza is great and the expresso too ;) Its very affordable and the waiters are very nice. Will come back for sure!
