Took my sister here for a birthday treat. Very polite, professional, friendly and relaxed staff made us feel welcome. Delicious food with interesting twists of flavour. The setting was very nice in Devonshire Square. We stayed a few hours as the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Highly recommended.

Attended as a bigger party and wanted to order starters and meals with sides to share. Did not work out. To me not an authentic indian kitchen. You can get beef, but not paneer. I ordered my food indian hot and it came not spicy at all. Returned to the kitchen and got it back with some chilis added. No beer from the tap, although the menu sais it. No lassis. The Biryanis were nice and the starter lamb very good. Everything else was disappointing.

We had such a delicious meal! Our server, Nurul, was so courteous and attentive! Would 100% recommend ☺️

Food okay, if a little bland. The waiter didn't really pay enough attention when taking the order, a few errors made unfortunately.

Food is excellent and beautifully presented and service was top class, Nurol was pleasant, attentive and available when required. Only grumble would be the price of a small bottle of beer which at over £7 is scandalous

We went to the Cinnamon Kitchen last Sunday. This restaurant is located near the Liverpool Street station, which is just a 3 minute walk. First of all, I want to point out the pro´s: - Staff - professional, courteous and always helpful - Food - excellent - Cleanliness - perfect - Ambiance - very nice and good music, which was loud enough to enjoy After each clearing of the tables, they were wiped down with a cleaning solution. Now to the con´s: - Non As for me, I can wholeheartedly recommend this Restaurant. P.S.: After being greeted, we were asked about any allergies.

Came here yesterday and it really delivered! The food was unbelievable 🤤 I've knocked a star off for service as it was quite slow, however the restaurant was completely packed so I don't blame them. Considering how busy it was, they didn't do badly. The service was really friendly through which makes all the difference to me - nothing worse than a rude waitress/waiter who doesn't want to be there! It was completely packed out so the atmosphere was good - not too loud though. We sat outside which was great, the outdoor seated area is covered with heaters. Their signature lamb dish is exceptionally good!

Really delicious food and great service

The food and service (from Nurul) was excellent. My only minor negative comment would be that they had numerous large work party bookings on the same night, which meant the room was very noisy. But irrespective the food arrived quickly and service was excellent.

Fantastic experience at Cinnamon Kitchen to celebrate a family birthday. Well looked after by the whole Team, from booking to dining, the Team were very attentive. Delicious food and wonderful service. A special mention to Nurul who was our waiter, he went above and beyond, especially in catering for the youngest member of the family aged 3! Highly recommended!

On Friday I came in with some family for an event, upon entrance you're greeted with a lovely scenic environment with a lovely buzz. I arrived with high hopes seeing as how lovely the location was however, once I looked at the menu I was taken back due to the shear lack of items in the menu. Seeing as this is an 'Indian' restaurant I expected some authentic dishes like Currys and biriyani but it wasn't there! The food arrived after a small period if time and it looked great. The food was mediocre at best, the highlight was the oxtail check curry which I'll give an 8/10. Overall this place is a 6 at BEST. Overpriced mediocre food

Food is really good, service , however, very average Staff not very engaging On a warm day, no ice with water and plates cold as ice, plates should be hot, you'd expect better from a high end establishment

Craving authentic Indian cuisine since I arrived in London, I struggled to find a place that truly satisfied. That is, until my friends surprised me with this hidden gem. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food—simply incredible. We chose the set menu for 3 pax as we are not heavy eater. It made us full at all. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the kulfi malai transported me right back to my childhood. The lamb ( though I am not a fun of lamb) it attracted to me and I finished it all. However, my experience at the entrance was a bit underwhelming as I was left waving at two senior staff members who appeared to ignore me. That aside, the server was very attentive and kind, and the experience was delightful. Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Absolute dynamite. The samosa smash was the best I've ever had. The coconut mustard sauce on the aubergine steak was bizarre and delightful. Ash was a consumate professional with some great recommendations. Highly recommend!

All the dishes were absolutely fantastic, everything had plenty of flavour and complemented well. The atmosphere was also great, we were fortunate with it being quiet on a Friday night! What topped it all was the impeccable service we received from Petar who was very professional and helpful. We felt very welcome because of him and we are bound to visit again!

Absolutely amazing experience. What really topped it off was Peter, who took everything to the next level. The food was spectacular. We tried several starters, mains, and desserts. Everything was a solid 10! The atmosphere was great as well, very romantic and private! Will definitely highly recommend and visit again. It was my wife’s birthday when we visited this eatery. Nice ambience and lovely service. I was served by Nurul and he is very friendly and was making sure that our special occasion to be memorable one. Must visit during Sundays. And must try their Aubergine Steak - Its “mouth watering”!

Dinner for six, including children, on a weekday evening at Cinnamon Kitchen Spitalfields. That sentence alone conjures a few dread-filled images: the inevitable dousing of tikka masala across freshly pressed city shirts, and a wine list that might as well feature Vimto for all the thought given to the pairings. But, to my surprise, none of that happened. The place was unexpectedly comfortable for our families– a sleek, quietish bubble just far enough away from the Liverpool Street crowd to avoid the full braying post-work city lad brigade. Yes, they were there in pockets, perched at the bar, clearly convinced they had just stumbled upon some "secret" Indian haunt. But the room itself hummed along at a comfortable, civilised volume. We went for the summer sharing menu, which, at the price, felt fair. Dish after dish of gorgeously spiced delights landed on our table, one-upping the last with ease. The lamb? Tender and perfectly garnished. The prawns were spicy and vibrant, kissed by the right amount of heat. If only all curries came paired with a bottle from their tidy little wine list. It’s small, but packed with carefully chosen bottles that actually complement the food – a rarity at most Indian joints. Service, too, was spot on. Attentive but not in that hovering, desperate-to-refill-your-water-glass way. And yes, for all the parents out there eyeing this place with trepidation: kids are welcome. Ours were catered to with quiet efficiency, and there was never the faintest whiff of an eye-roll from the staff. If I had to pick a fault, it would be the daal. Passable, sure, but it paled in comparison to the rest of the menu. Hardly a deal-breaker, though, when everything else bordered on superb. But a word of caution – don’t confuse it with the Cinnamon Club in Westminster. Different beasts altogether. This is a solid, polished, city haunt with classic Punjabi dishes done well and with prices that won’t make you weep. Would I go back? Yes, especially if I was in the area with the family and wanted some top quality Indian food in a non poncey restaurant that would be sure to fill our tummies 😛

Food was absolutely delicious great flavour I absolutely loved it. the only problem was the portion size it was tiny. I was hungry after I ate my main. I would expect a lot more food for these kinds of prices. Everything else was great! Some of the tastiest food I've had.

Visited a few months ago on a friend’s recommendation, and it didn’t disappoint! The food was delicious, well-cooked, and had a Dishoom style that really hit the spot. The setting is charming, especially in the summer months if you manage to snag an outdoor seat. Budget around £50 per head, including beer and tip, and check out my photos for dish recommendations. I had a buy a gift voucher as a birthday present for a 3 course meal & a cocktail. When we walked in we were welcomed straight away & to our table. Aishwarya, the waitress made our visit comfortable from start to finish. She explained to us how the dishes are cooked, which was interesting. She also kept coming back to us to make sure if we liked the food & if everything was ok. She was so kind & lovely throughout the meal! The other waiters & overall service was excellent & more importantly the food was amazing. A great fusion of Indian foods & spices. I can’t tolerate spicy foods only mild & Aishwarya was reassuring that my meal (grilled chicken & korma curry) wasn’t spicy & in fact it was mild & I loved every bit of it! Compliments to the chefs who are very talented & skilled in their jobs & of course the waiters who are very good at their jobs too! I would love to return back to the Cinnamon Kitchen in the future, beautiful restaurant & terrace! It was a great meal to end a fantastic day out in London. Thank you!! 🥰

Brilliant indian food restaurant! I cannot fault anything on the menu! The char-grilled lamb fillet, the green mango & tomato soup, and the punjabi samosa for starters were brilliant. The banana leaf sea bream and the paneer for mains were excellent and the kulfi for dessert was to die for. Don’t forget to order extra portions of black lentils and garlic nans… they disappear fast! Ash was our awesome guide on this culinary experience, we were very impressed with her service!

We shared weekend vegetarian brunch for my birthday and were served by Aaish and Raj.Both were extremely courteous and kind and could not do enough for us. The birthday cake and candle was a wonderful surprise. Thank you both for a wonderful experience.

We hosted a dinner for around 80 people at Cinnamon Kitchen in early August. What an amazing choice we made! The food was outstanding, and was compared to authentic Indian cuisine by our Indian guests. The service was second to none with all our requests carried out quickly and smoothly. The atmosphere was so lively and fun, overall we had an amazing evening and I would recommend Cinnamon Kitchen for large group events and for private dinners. I will definitely being returning.

Sorry, service was terrible. Had to get up several times to get waiters attention. Food was good though. They also lied about telling me I had to pay to bring a cake and said my father called and they informed him. My father found out 10 mins before that we were going to this so he definitely didn’t call.

Food is good, but not great and overpriced for what it is. This is not a fine dining experience, even if they try to upsell that. Service was extremely poor, not once did a server come over without us requesting and when we did request, it still took a few minutes.

Food was amazing. Tasted fresh and v enjoyable. I shared 4 starters with bread and rice with a friend and we were full. Happily so. Highly recommended- sat outside and enjoyed the buzz of Devonshire place but not too noisy to talk.

The food was good but cold. We asked for one starter first and they brought out both. When we got there the restaurant was empty. Then 2 large parties came. Despite that, the service was still very slow. We thought it would be better. Not worth the hype.

Very tasty food. We went for the afternoon tea and the flavours were great. On a Sunday afternoon it was quiet but that did mean that we didn't feel rushed or that the room was noisy. We will definitely recommend this place to others and probably return at some point to try their main menu.

There was a wedding on next door, which was quite loud. Luckily they were playing music we liked. Food excellent. Restaurant empty. No atmosphere. Waiter professional, he looked after us. Food came very quickly. Needs a bit of a face lift outside, looks very tired.

A gem for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Indian cuisine. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. My party of four opted for the set menu, and we were not disappointed. The variety and quality of the dishes were impressive, each bursting with authentic flavors and spices. A special mention to Ash, our server, who elevated our experience with her attentive and friendly service.

I went for lunch with my wife and it was a warm sunny day so we sat outside and that was very pleasant. The food was superb I had salmon tikka and my wife char grilled lamb for starters. For main I had baked sea bream fillet and my wife a chicken dish al of which was very well presented and delicious clean plates all round!! Will be returning soon.

This was our second time here. We came in June and again in August. We had the set menu both times. The food was outstanding both times. Great variety and great taste and value for money. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. And we can't wait to go again!!

It was tasty food and the waiter was very attentive and helpful. Nice courtyard setting and very lively as other bars around with lots of people chatting. I would say a great place to go with friends or perhaps a date where you do not need privacy/ intimacy.

Excellent Sunday brunch. Tasty small dishes, not too much for a hot day. If we had been hungrier, we would have ordered the set menu which looked like excellent value. Sat in the courtyard which was lovely though a bit hot in the sun. Would definitely eat here again.

This was my second time at Cinnamon Kitchen, the last time was at least a decade ago. I recall my first visit being decadent, the service was incredible and personalised. We were really looked after therefore I booked for the weekend BBQ brunch for a birthday celebration. It took a while to seat us, from arrival to start of food was a good 45 mins. Some of my family only arrived a good 15 mins after us. We sat outside, the seating and ambiance was lovely. I don't know if they had enough staff as the whole time it appeared there was only one chap up front managing the whole show. I had booked for a birthday and there was no acknowledgment of this. Also we had a toddler with us and again took us a while to get a high chair. There was no acknowledgement or any food adjustments for him. The service was professional but lacked warmth. I expected a bit more. The starters comprised of chaat, aubergine (delicious), scrambled eggs and some type of chicken (as we had asked for halal options). The mains included sea bream (yummy), biryani, chicken kebab with daal and naan. The desert of Rasmalai tres leches cake was an absolute winner. My Summary: Good food, great spot, care and service felt professional but not warm.

This was our first visit and we are greatly disappointed by the food quality and poor service. There are a few things which felt wrong; * Butter paneer and black lentils tasted very ordinary and didn't taste like restaurant food, customers expect better taste quality when they dine at restaurants. * There was no salt/spoons available - we had to ask each time for little things. * Cutlery - the plates to eat food on were too small, not enough room to put roti's, lentils or butter paneer. * Lift was out of service on Friday 19th July. * Desserts - we ordered ice cream which took so much time and ice cream was extremely hard.

Had a brilliant masterclass with Chef Vivek and his team, I would highly recommend this experience.

The waiters were not good at all, didn’t pour wine, or ask to taste, didn’t give us a tray with ice for the wine, slammed the food down, tried to sit us in a dark corner and were really rude when we said we didn’t want to sit there. Shame because we really like the food- service was horrendous, second time too. Staff also don’t speak English

Ash has. been really helpful ,kind and friendly and made our experience here in this restaurant very special. We really enjoyed their sophisticated india dishes and great atmosphere. I will tell all my friends this is the must try indian restaurant when they come to London.

Very disappointed in the service. Initially we're offered a tablr in the darkest corner. Had to pour out own wine - in such an upmarket establishment this is not good service. When the waiter thought he might get a tip he suddenly improved his level of service enourmously - but one small gesture really stood out. Love the food but won't be returning

Excellent food as usual, almost unique taste vs other Indian restaurants. Prices have risen quite a bit though, with smaller service sizes since we ate there last time about a couple yrs ago.
