We had the private room @Cinnimon Bazar for my daughters £30th birthday, Staff could not do more excellent, food was well balanced in flavours tasted very good. The whole evening, until we finished was so well organized I would definitely recommend the place for any occasion.

Had a wonderful experience during last couple of visits, but today's visit along with one of the MD of my organisation was disappointment. Front desk promised seating in few mins but not got and ended up waiting long nearly 2 hrs outside in cold weather. But later before having mains managed to get table inside. Not a pleasant experience today, but strongly recommend to book table before you visit. Sadly, although the food was okay, I was hoping for a more authentic experience but the menu was very westernised. It was also limited in terms of choice outside of seafood, so if you’re not a huge fan of seafood, I would not recommend this place. Also, they had some very loud live music, including an electric guitar…this was not exactly appropriate for the setting and we found that we had to shout to hear each other. It would have been better with some more relaxing ambient music.

This is the best Indian food I’ve ever had !!! I am not kidding, everything was seasoned to perfection, food came out very fast and the staff is super friendly. The chicken naaan was delicious. Definitely recommend

A large and spacious restaurant with indoor and al fresco dining serving delicious Indian cuisine with great service.

Business is good, but I think the curry is too spicy, basically everything is spicy. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the restaurant, which was a bit annoying.

We sat for a 7 course tasting menu and it was Devine! The panner is some of the best I have ever eaten. My one change would be the last veggie main fell a bit flat and could have been a nice curry instead of battered aubergine. The staff were so lovely and attentive and Ash was so wonderful to chat to

Came here for a birthday dinner and it was an absolute treat! The three course tasting menu was so worth it and my favourite was their cinnamon Bellini! The staff is super friendly especially Ash who was so nice to chat to!! Will definitely come back again!

We pre-booked High Chai at Cinnamon Kitchen on a Sunday and it absolutely delivered! While the city is quiet at the weekend there was a handful of other groups as well as us (we were indoors, not on the terrace as winter, but it looked cute). Service was impeccable. Food was super tasty. Malasla chai tea was delicious and came in a funky teapot as well. We were even asked if we wanted more savoury and sweet items, which we weren't expecting for the very reasonable price, but couldn't resist extra samosa, watermelon and paneer wraps (we're vegetarian so had these items) because the flavour profiles were so amazing. The sauces in particular were top notch. Cakes were good too but the savoury items were the highlight for us. We also tried two cocktails (for an additional cost) that were a different take on classics and finished things off nicely.

We visited this Indian fusion restaurant for a Christmas Eve dinner and had a delightful experience. Arriving early at 6 PM, the place was quiet but gained a cozy vibe as more guests arrived. The Basil Lemonade was the highlight of our drinks, and the Paneer Chilli made for a flavorful starter with its balanced spices. For mains, we tried the Pomfret Fry and Chicken Korma. The Pomfret was fantastic, though the Chicken was slightly overcooked and tough. While all dishes had an explosion of flavors, I personally felt something was slightly amiss—but that might be my bias for stronger flavors. Desserts were the star of the night, with the Rasmalai taking the crown—it was absolutely perfect! The restaurant has a stunning ambiance with a lovely outdoor seating area, ideal for romantic dinners or group celebrations. Aishwarya, our server, was warm and welcoming, and we appreciated the no-service-charge policy, a rare touch in central London. The main downside of this restaurant is the price, and the chicken could have been more tender. However, the ambiance and service make it a lovely spot for a special evening.

Multiple items were added the bill without being ordered. Had to argue with the server to get them taken off at the end as we told them when the items were being served that we had not asked for them - was told they would not appear on the bill. Food itself was fine if expensive for what you got.

I had an incredible time at Cinnamon Kitchen- Liverpool street . The food was absolutely outstanding—each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I especially loved the biryani and grilled prawns, both cooked to perfection. The ambiance was just as amazing, with a vibrant and cozy atmosphere that made the evening special. Great food. Very busy and it got quite loud. Not for the hard of hearing but definitely for the curry lovers of the world!

This was a splendid meal with plenty of options for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan needs. The cinnamon bellini was to die for.

I go for currys because my mates like them. This was the first one I’ve ever enjoyed with subtle spices and flavours. Combined with a nice ambiance and fantastic service I thoroughly recommend a visit.

The food is very good in general. All the starters were super tasty, but it might be tricky if your tolerance for spicy is low. Most of the starters were spicy. The service has a lot of room to improve. The waiter in glasses seemed angry and anxious most of the time, rushing people and not very happy to answer questions. Not very rude but edgy. Additionally we were in a large table, and when taking the order they didn’t write down who asked what, so when the mains came the waiters were screaming and looking who ordered what. This is easy to improve. The timing for the dishes was weird, some being served into the table 10-15 minutes after others on the same course. The waiters forgot my dessert, and when I asked politely they didn’t even say sorry or anything, just went to the kitchen to ask for one, which they took 5 minutes more to bring. Everybody else had finished and ended up waiting for me.

Seasonal changes to the menu make this restaurant fun to visit often. We had aubergine with a mustard sauce: enjied by the whole table. Likewise the chole batura: not greasy nor acrid as often can be the case. Uppatam was well received too. The date pancake was enjoyed as was the riff on ras malai. The latter deconstructed and remade as a cake like sponge imbued with ras malai sauce, topped with a crunchy crumble. A novel twist that was a pleasure. Service was excellent, as usual.

The food unfortunately did not meet expectations as it arrived cold, and the service could have been more attentive. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t feel confident recommending it to others, but I understand experiences can vary. Thank you

My wife and I have been here 3 times now and we absolutely love the place. If you love the Dishoom Indian restaurants then you'll love Tamarind Kitchen, it isn't far behind some of the Michelin star Indian restaurants we've been to, if not on a par with them. Amazing food, great ambience and lovely staff. Can't wait for our next visit...

Too much kiosk and loud.. food was horrible.

The afternoon tea menu dishes were not curated to the season. They served very basic quality pani puri chaat and samosa chaat was still better. Tea was served late and was taking time to arrive. The macarons and shrikhand desserts too were okay. In hot snacks they only served chicken pockets and fish sandwiches, where sandwiches were okay. Overall it could have been better.

Opted for brunch sharing menu at £29 per person. Varied starters and mains satisfying all palates followed by a choice of two desserts. As someone who does not tolerate spicy food very well, I was able to eat all dishes on offer. Lovely dining experience. Will go back.

Chicken Biriyani was good. King Prawns was good. Black lentil dhal (Dhal Makhni) was poor. Lamb starter was average. Didn’t feel authentic taste was there. It’s modified to suit non Indian people.

What a fantastic restaurant. The food was unbelievable, the atmosphere brilliant, the staff are amazing and the prices are more than reasonable bearing in mind you’re in the heart of London. I will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

A buzzing place for a Thursday evening. The team did well to keep everything on track. The dishes were excellent. Madras fish fry and grilled squid to start followed by ox cheek vindalho and grilled chicken breast. A bottle of Tempranillo and a chocolate and peanut cheese cake finished a lovely dinner.

We were a party of 8 and it took 45 mins to seat us, despite having booked at a specific time. They told us there was no beer so we ordered G&Ts then beers magically appeared. We got our round of drinks while we waited for our table on the house but overall it felt like they were too busy and understaffed. Food was nice, but overall experience detracted for that unfortunately.

The food tasted great (although the servings were smaller than we expected). It was quite busy and very noisy, so much that it was hard to have a conversation at a normal volume. While the dishes seemed creative, the choices were limited and a tiny bit overpriced.

I really rate this place. The service on Monday 18th November 2024 was great. The food excellent too. We were there at 6pm and it was early without many people in until about 8.30.

My friend and I had High Chai. We loved it. By far the best afternoon tea we have had and having afternoon tea is something we love. The chaats were a taste explosion. And the sweets were wonderful. The putting together of ingredients you would never think to really worked well. Price of £28 well worth it

Fabulous meal! Would highly recommend this restaurant- pretty good value too for London! We thoroughly enjoyed it! Had a selection of starters - the prawns, the lamb and the smashed samosas were the highlights and loved the saddle of lamb for main course.

The food was stunning the restaurant is very clean and modern it was not very busy but we did go at 5.30pm on a Monday so very early and would imagine that later in the. evening would get quite full a special mention to our waitress Ash who went over and above her duty as a waitress she was so attentive and helpful she even explained how the food was cooked and the spices used which my wife is very interested in she is a credit to the restaurant and will go far thank you for everything when we visit london again hopefully will definitely go again

Wonderful experience having the 7 course taster menu at Cinnamon Kitchen. The food was amazing, the service was really great too. They were very well informed on dietary requirements and made some substitutions and adjustments to cater for my husband's wheat and dairy intolerances. Top class!!

The restaurant offers a variety of Indian fusion food. Even tough the menu is not big there are options for all tastes and alimentary restrictions. Portion size was ok, not too big not too small. We were a group of 10 and it was easy to make the reservation, service on the day was outstanding and they ambience was great too.

We enjoyed an excellent set lunch at CK. The service was friendly and the food was flavoursome and well spiced. There were options for vegetarians. The spicy prawn starter was good, with plenty of dark spicy sauce. I had the Tandoori Trio as a main - a good dish but it needed some texture. The cauliflower had some colour but the (2) tandoori potatoes were soft and I was hoping for some crunchy bits, as you’d expect from high heat cooking. Overall enjoyable.

Food was excellent but service could have been better. It was nice of them to give complimentary small piece of cake as we were celebrating a birthday but it came after we paid and got up from thr table to leave the place . In terms of atmosphere/ambience, this really needs to be worked on....tables are too close to each other, and you can't walk without bumping into someone's chair. They have put tables wherever they can find the space, so the layout is messy. It became very noisy too due to lot of people in small place. It can be chaotic in case of emergency. Tables gone bit old so needs replacing. I have been here few times but places now needs updating & upgrading.

Very crowded in the evenings. Went here for a team dinner. It was a quasi Diwali celebration. Service was slow - guess this is due to the fact that the place is overcrowded in the evenings Cocktails here below average. Loved the lamb, paneer and samosa chat starters. Daal (black) was a tad underwhelming. Will definitely come back here. Points above should be taken by the restaraunt as constructive feedback. Place is not expensive and rightly priced. May be they should increase prices a little.

Food was fine if rather overpriced.The dining room is a rather cavernous space which didn't appeal. Appreciate the location is pricey but didn't consider it value for money.

Reserved a table to meet a friend. Got seated and was given the menu. I was ignored for the next 15 minutes, while the two tables beside me on the left and right were served. The table on my right was checked on thrice! However, I wasn't even offered a glass of water, let alone a drink. Tried to get the waiters attention multiple times, but to no avail. For a place that takes inspiration from Indian cuisine, it might be nice to not ignore the Indians coming in to check it out. Very disappointed and won't be coming back again.

Lovely food. Odd table for 3. Nothing worse than sitting on a rectangular table ideal for 4 when there are 3 of you. Especially when asking ahead for a suitable table. We had a good night. Will be back.

Ambience was lovely with live saxophonist playing, sadly only about 20% full..all staff very friendly and attentive service. Minor issue with order was very quickly rectified and without asking money deducted, which was amazing customer service. The food was extremely well cooked and presented.

Great food, Very authentic. I liked the pomfret. It was simply delicious. Of course since it's in Liverpool street area the atmosphere was simply amazing with good vibes. I would have expected more on the service part especially if it's a fine dining restaurant. You would expect folks to guide more on matching drinks(wines etc) and overall like the turn around time to get food on the table or bill etc could be improved. It's not those cheap restaurants too so in that sense service could be improved but overall I had a good experience. So I would recommend it!

Took my sister here for a birthday treat. Very polite, professional, friendly and relaxed staff made us feel welcome. Delicious food with interesting twists of flavour. The setting was very nice in Devonshire Square. We stayed a few hours as the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Highly recommended.

Attended as a bigger party and wanted to order starters and meals with sides to share. Did not work out. To me not an authentic indian kitchen. You can get beef, but not paneer. I ordered my food indian hot and it came not spicy at all. Returned to the kitchen and got it back with some chilis added. No beer from the tap, although the menu sais it. No lassis. The Biryanis were nice and the starter lamb very good. Everything else was disappointing.
