Manager reaction to feedback appalling to say the least. Would not allow us to explain our feedback and review when asked. Poor execution of customer service recovery - non existent. It’s a shame as all other staff were very pleasant and courteous. If only the manager as he called himself upheld customer expectations and objectives. Active listening and communication lacking to enhance customer expectations - very disappointing indeed. The proprietor of this establishment seriously needs to consider orchestration by current management in position. Quite clearly not git for purpose and unable to interact with customers with a valid concern regarding their menu choice. A very dignified response from our reservation, fair and responsive reaction to what was a car crash reaction from the manager who seemed completely myopic in his conclusion to our complaint. Will sadly not be returning to this establishment. I thoroughly recommend the curry village and at worst you have another alternative within the village.

Third eat in meal in three weeks. Fantastic choice of dishes with great choice of options to create them. Staff very knowledgeable and offer great advice. Not local to us and having enjoyed different foods over the years in various places so this is definitely a gem. Looking forward to sampling many other dishes there

Where do i start!!! I have had many meals from this restaurant, both take away and in store and NEVER had a problem. Ordered tonight, and the rice was cold, along with the Nann bread, and the rest, Korma and Byrani was luke-warm, the only things that were hot were the onion bhajis and vegetables. So called to complain, as was surprised as to this standard. Advised manager would call me back, which he didnt, so i call again, and was subjected to him shouting at me, not allowing me to tell him exactly what the issue is, and told me i was stupid for calling, and that he did not believe me! Would never complain unless i absolutely had to, and on this occasion i did but NEVER would i think i would be met with such aggression from the so-called manager! Absolutely appalled! Disgusting to say the least!! Moral of the story never complain as you will be shouted and screamed at!! Will never use this restaurant again, speechless to say the least!!

We had high hopes for our Saturday evening takeaway, our first from Cinnamon as we’re new to the area. We ordered at 6pm for delivery which should take 10-15 mins from Billingshurst; they said the wait was 1h 15m which is a bit long, but we went ahead. 2 hours later (!!) it arrived lukewarm at best - we weren’t impressed and very hungry. The veggie side dishes were good - okra and mushroom saag, but the dhansak was disappointing with few visible lentils and far too sweet. The pilau rice had gone quite hard and the naan was a bit soggy. Such a shame. If they’d said 2 hours we would have ordered elsewhere and tried them another time when it might have been better.

Not kidding you Cinnamon is the best Indian I’ve been to! Me and my family are regulars and the staff are so lovely and welcoming the owner has a chat with us sometimes which is so nice, the service is fast and well managed and the staff are prompt with drinks and extra necessities. The food is fabulous and tastes amazing the spice rating is very good and true to the food, we like to have food on the spicier side and I have to say that it can be super spicy which is lovely, i’m not sure why people think the food is “bland” it honestly isn’t it's full of flavour and kick! The food arrives fast enough for us to have a chat and settle. Due to covid we had to have takeaways from there which wasn’t the same as being there as the atmosphere is so nice, but sometimes the owner delivers the food which is lovely, the food always came hot and didn’t really have any difference to when we had it in the restaurant. People rating it a 1 Star probably had a row with the staff because they couldn’t get their food for cheaper as there are people out there who like to have a row with staff in restaurants because they want their food for cheap or don’t want to pay for their food. Anyways overall Cinnamon has high quality food, warm and friendly staff, flavoursome food and a lovely atmosphere. We’ll be coming back again soon we just can’t get enough of it!

This restaurant just keeps improving as time goes by, now serving consistently excellent food. I’ve recently decided to try the Ambassador menu, but for the last few orders I’ve been stuck on the king prawn jul. I’m not even sure this dish contains king prawn, more like crayfish or as the Europeans would call skampi... absolutely delicious and so sweet like lobster. Onion bhajis are amazing, side dishes all excellent... not sure that in 10 years of living in West Sussex I’ve experienced any other place that provides such consistently excellent food.

We have been twice and the lamb shank is absolutely fabulous, we highly recommend it. Service is great

We have eaten in cinnamon several times since moving to the area and always been really happy with service and quality of food, until tonight!What a shame, the service was appalling, slow doesn’t come close, 50 minutes to get i samosa starter, 1 hour 15 to get out main course. They are way too busy serving takeaway and delivery food rather than concentrating on the customers that have cone out to support them and buy drinks from them.No apologies or letting us know what was going on, and it was the same for all customers dining there tonight. Shame as food is very good but cinnamon decide if you want to take aways or look after your dinners, very disappointed and we won’t be back

Decided to try this restaurant and take advantage of the EOTHO scheme. The decor is warm and friendly and we were given a nice table and felt comfortable. As always when I visit Indian restaurants I order too much food! The food was excellent, great portion sizes and very very tasty. Will bring the kids next time.

I visited Cinnamon with my husband and son (aged 11). The food was delicious and very well presented. The waiters were helpful and attentive. The entire meal was excellent and a reasonable price. We shall definitely be returning as it is better than our usual place, The Blue India.

Ordered a delivery. Was an hour late. Food was inedible. Won't go into details but could not even cook the rice. Threw in bin. Avoid at all costs. I tolerate bad Indian take aways and do not post reviews but this was shocking.

This corner restaurant opposite the Main P.O. Sorting Office in Billingshurst, offers a good selection of Indian dishes with a comprehensive menu and good take away service, with free delivery on local orders over £20.

This wonderful restaurant gives you the well loved classics with a few harder to find and delicious dishes as well that are sure to escape the attention of other outlets of Indian cuisine. What really elevates the food here beyond the familiar and ordinary is the freshness of the ingredients, expert preparation and the lack of excessive ghee and sugar which can so easily characterise the competition. Every dish that we tried was superbly executed, beautifully spiced and absolutely delicious. It is no exaggeration to say that this was one of the best Indian meals I have ever had, (which includes comparisons with previous culinary trips to Chennai), and that this, for sure, is Indian cuisine at its finest. Cinnamon manage to combine the traditional with a more contemporary element in its fresh delivery of flavours which does not at all compromise the favourites that we know and love. My only regret is that I don’t live anywhere near Billingshurst. Well done Cinnamon, fabulous!

After using Cinnamon’s take away service for a couple of years we decided to try the dine in option and the food is even better . Can’t recommend this place highly enough . A busy Friday evening with excellent food and great service all for a very reasonable price .

Anyone who knows me will know how fussy I am when it comes to food !!even my son will tell you they were more worried about the food they were serving me at his wedding, than his wedding vowels lol !! I had a takeaway a few weeks ago and it was the best Iv had for a very long time , but I thought no wait I wanted to see what it was like to eat in, I have to say the prawn on purée with a dash of lemon was to die for !! i also asked them to spice up my chicken tikka Marsala. Witch they did and I was not disappointed, we went on a Friday evening and it was really busy!! But the food wAs not affected !! Fab fab fab 5 stars is not enough!!!

This was my first visit to the restaurant although my friends had been before. As I remember the premises being a dingly old fashioned grocers store some forty plus years ago I was impressed by the decor and ambiance of the premises.The service I have to say was exceptional and the food I ordered, shish kebab, lamb korai, along with the usual sides and rice were excellent.I'm certainly looking forward to eating there again and trying some of the other dishes on the menu.

Ordered the hottest curry - Phall, it was no hotter than my Irish grans stew, very poor. Gave them the opportunity to make up for it but they didn’t so hence me leaving a bad review.

Day of our move needed to eat and picked this restaurant as liked the look of the menu, we weren’t disappointed. Four very tasty and the service was excellent. We will be returning.

Spur of the moment decision to return to Cinnamon this evening, not sure why we've not been for a while. Good as always, friendly reception, pleasant decor and spotlessly clean. The menu is excellent with all the old 'indian' favourites but lots of other dishes available making it hard to choose. Our meals and the service were excellent. Agreat asset to the village.

We had a family gathering of 18 people which was pre booked. Food was perfectly cooked, staff were very friendly and attentive and everybody had a very pleasant evening. Cinnamon has become my favourite Indian restaurant by far.

This restaurant is consistently good. It is the best curry house in the area. A good varied menu to suit most tastes. Very authentic flavours and great service. Worth a visit for a great taste experience!

Lovely Indian restaurant in a quaint historic building. There is a varied menu and we were all very full from our delicious meal and accompaniments. Service was still very good considering it was busy. Will definately be going back.

Me and my husband came here for Valentine's day, and despite them being busy, we had great service and outstanding food. Staff were polite and attentive, especially the junior staff, and they were happy to package up our leftovers! We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

I’ve been to many restaurants over my experiences and do not go to this restaurant, they take to many take away orders and leave all the patrons waiting for there m als I would never go to this restaurant again in fact avoid like the plague,

Absolutely outraged!!!! Been to cinnamon a couple of times over the last few year and tonight was unbelievable, me and my family booked a table for 7.15 arrived and was seated straight away, filled us full of drink and took our order after 20 minutes, starters took over 40 mins to come and arrived cold, totally understand busy hours but don’t leave people sitting there waiting for 1 hour 20 mins for there mains without correspondence. We then decided enough was enough and decided to cancel the rest of our dinner and leave only to be given a huge bill which was not accurate we believe they tried to compensate themselves for there mistake totally outraged will not go back to this amature restaurant ever again what a shambles. Oh and just FYI don’t order a cocktail at weekends as they refused to make as it takes over 20mins to make one.

I booked "on-line" 2 weeks ago to make sure we got in for Valentine's day evening,

We had dinner in this restaurant and the staff are awful they didn’t seem interested in us and you had a job too attract them and the restaurant was very empty, the food is just ok and not worth the money, we certainly would not recommend this restaurant.

I know i look young but i am a 35 year old man, i visited your restaurant with a number of friends that are in there 20's. We booked a table and we were one person down and we advised them that the last person would be there shortly. They persistently interrupted our dinner to ask when they would be there. I adventurously said they would be there when they are there. I then noticed my knife had food on it and it was welded to the knife. I did not make a fuss and just simply asked for the knife to be changed at this point the waiter walked away. I assumed he would be back to replace the knife this did not happen. The final straw was when we ordered some beers at this point the waiter asked for ID from all of the guests and they provided ID bar one, the waiter then refused to service him a beer. Clearly the restaurant does not know the law, as anyone over 16 can drink a glass of beer or wine if they are sitting having a meal in a licencee place. The waiter told me i was wrong and anyway he would need to be with a family member, which is not correct as any responsible adult is all that is required. The waiter pointed out we could not be family as i was black and the other guy was white and smiled. i'm sorry this is unacceptable. Just in case the waiter reads this i would like to clear up a point. Most of my family are white and my brother and I are black its not to hard to work out that one of our parents were from another ethnic group. Disgusting, shocking and considering civil action.

This is consistently good. I really love this curry house and chef has adapted dishes for me by making them hotter. Good service and delicious food. A friend who is not a major fan of Indian food said it was the best curry he’d ever had and he will come back with his wife.

What a great undiscovered little gem the food and service at this resturant is second to none. I have lived in the local area for a very long time and have visited many different during my time. I would recommend this restaurant for a great evening out or if not able to visit the delivery service is just as great. Keep up the great service a very happy customer

lovely service as always, food always well presented, good portion sizes, plenty to choose from, also a good choice of different meats and also vegetable dishes.

We have been here a number of times in the past year and also had deliveries from Cinnamon, the food is always good and freshly made, and the service is great, friendly and perfectly timed ie if you want a lengthy evening with friends, that's fine, if you're having a quick meal on the way home from work, that's fine too. Good drinks and draft beer available.

Arrived for Sunday Lunch at 13.10 hrs - greeted with "we are were closing at 14.00hrs "- when the sign and their menu shows they close at 14.30, we still opted to go in as we thought that they were kidding - sadly not. We were rushed through the starters and main course, as soon as we had finished the main course, the plates were wisked away and we were presented with the bill, no deserts or coffee, all before 2pm. We should have been worried as when we went in the place was empty. The food was good - their attitude and hosting skills left a lot be desired.

Always great food and lovely service. Good value for money and used this place many times before. Would not hesitate to say if have not been before just go for it.

Visited with a group of lads (nine of us) on a Friday night. We booked in advance because we had been told to visit this restaurant. The food was fantastic. A little different from your typical Indian restaurant with dishes not commonly found. It was so good that we decided to return the following evening but unfortunately they were fully booked. If you are in a group I recommend booking ahead. Well worth a visit.

My Partner, friend and myself ordered from here a few saturdays ago. The food was absolutley out of this world, we really did over order for three of us there was so much food the portion sizes are top marks. We all tried a bit of each others. My classic favourtie Garlic chili chicken - the other two had massala. Lots of sides and dips. The sag poneer here is really tasy along with the sag and mushroom... Will deffo return! Authentic and full of flavour

Very friendly welcome to a very clean and nicely decorated restaurant. Convenient public car park just across the road (free in evening). Excellent menu with all the usual favourites and some interesting dishes of their own. Our meals were both very good and reasonably priced. Couldn't fault it.

I'd say don't miss this place if you're visiting the area. It is in the town centre with free evening parking across the road. It's nicely decorated and the service we experienced was very good indeed - happy to make recommendations and very enthusiastic about the food. The menu is varied and I'd suggest it's well worth trying something different, especially when it's so strongly recommended by the staff. I had Dohi Puchkaa to start - a delightfully light and crisp bite-sized selection with a dipping sauce - gorgeous! Then the slow braised lamb shank, wonderfully marinaded in spices and served in a thick sauce, with the waiter-recommended lemon rice was a truely memorable experience! There is a selection of teas and coffees that are worth asking for if you're not driving - better than the alcohol free beer, which I'd steer clear of. The price for 2, starters, mains and drinks, was less than £50. Go!

Visited Cinnamon busy night and the service a tad slow . However , the food was on the night was excellent and the Menu is offers something for the off piste curry lovers . I see some reviews of this Indian as poor , as I have visited numerous Indian / Bangladeshi restaurants across the UK most restaurants will have an off night here and there . As a frequent visitor to both Cinnamon and Blue India there isn't much between them in my opinion . For me Blue India offers possibly better service and atmosphere , but Cinnamon edges it on food , take your pick!

Bright and opulent interior. Friendly smiling staff and great customer service. The food (Beef Jalfrezi for me and Chicken for my colleague) was succulent and tender with the right level of spice and texture. A wide range of traditional Indian beer either on draft or bottled. Nice ambience and music. Decent prices. Overall a delightful experience with nothing to fault!

Having tried all the Indian restaurants in billingshurst This one for me is the best, you get what you ask for I like very hot curries and they didn't disappoint.

We did not pre-book a table, but were able to obtain a table for two easily. The food was delicious and the waiter service was attentive and helpful. The decor was attractive. Very enjoyable.

Had a fairly good meal here but was a bit disappointed when my main which had 2 chillies on the menu was insanely hot, I can take spicy food but it was more than Madras hot which is marked as a 3 chillies main. Other items were pretty good, drinks were reasonably priced though the vodka tasted cheap.

Cinnamon is another Indian restaurant opened in Billingshurst therefore as big fund of Indian cuisine, specially curry we decided to try and order this time from Cinamon, having received a brochure through the door.

My sister in law and myself enjoyed a delightful meal here Thurs evening. The waiter was very welcoming and attentive. We had a drink and then our meals arrived within about 20 minutes. We had ordered several dishes of which were all really beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The environment was cosy and classy. The price was also amazingly cheap. The desert menu was also very good with plenty of choice. Very impressed. We will be back . Well done

After having eaten at many Indian restaurants over the years. We were bowled over by the food and service at Cinnamon.. Excellent choice of food, more than happy to make changes to a certain dish we required, nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly staff.. We couldn't fault anything... The restaurant itself is very authentic looking inside and makes an ideal venue for a romantic date or just a get together for a good meal... 5*

This was our second visit. The first was good but this time the service was very poor. After being shown to our table and given menus, the four of us waited 10 minutes to be offered drinks. 25 minutes later we were asked our meal choices, which took 30 minutes to arrive - minus one ordered item, which took another 10 minutes. No-one came near our table again - we weren't offered another drink, a dessert or coffee! Even had to go in search of the bill ourselves. There was no problem with the food once we got it - we enjoyed what we ordered.

First time at this restaurant. Had been really looking forward to it and were not disappointed with the food. Was really tasty and plenty of it. However the service was terrible. We were seated straight away and drinks and order for poppadoms taken straight away and provided quickly. That's when it went down hill sadly! We waited for what seemed like ages. The table next to us ordered, ate their food and the waiter came to clear their table before our order had even been taken. We had to ask for them to come and take our order. Not great. There was no sign of any waiters for quite some time at one point. Once the food arrived we were not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Been twice now.. great atmosphere, food and great service. Was sad that the Chinese went (where the Cinneman is now) but appreciating it and hoping it doesn't get complacent and go down hill like many good restaurants do :(

Visited for dinner last night. The service was good, the food was excellent. All four of us enjoyed our meal. We will be back.

We visited Saturday evening in a group of four. Table was squashed in to a corner, very close to adjacent table, freezing draught from continually opening door. Service was exceptionally slow, drinks didn't arrive until second reminder. Over an hour wait for starter then another hour wait for mains. The food itself was varied and tasty although some of it lukewarm. The manager informed us on leaving that there had been a problem with the gas supply to the ovens causing the long delay in service, it would have been better to have been informed of this several hours earlier when we could have made the decision to dine elsewhere. A real shame because the food was very good in parts, but the freezing environment, overly close proximity to other diners, very very poor service, lack of information and tepid rice has made a return visit highly unlikely

Arrived without booking, waited about fifteen minutes for a table to be made up for us, grateful for this, however, being told "quick pigging" as we were seated, not being asked if we would like desserts or coffee and having to ask for our bill having waited fifteen minutes to even catch the attention of staff, left the experience a little less enjoyable than it could have been.

Friendly, efficient service. The food was ok but in my opinion nothing special. We ordered chicken satay as one of our starters however it was not what we expected, whilst the chicken was succulent and tasty there was no recognisable satay sauce. For one of our main courses I ordered what was described as a very hot curry dish with a variety of chilli - it was hot but not as hot as described in the menu. Whilst we still enjoyed our evening, I was disappointed with elements of our meal.

Fancied a bit of spicy food after the Christmas excesses and had been meaning to try Cinnamon out for a while. We got a takeaway and were very impressed. Food was available at the allocated time and staff were very friendly and polite. The food was of high quality and obviously freshly prepared. We will be back in the near future.

I have now eaten at Cinnamon on three occasions, two with large groups and most recently as two couples. The menu is great, all the usuals you would expect to see and some incredible specials that you wouldn't! The service is very friendly and attentive. The food tastes fantastic, I've tried a few dishes now and some of them are the best I've ever had in an India restaurant. I would highly recommend this establishment and I will definitely return!

Our first visit but it's one of the latest restaurants on the High St so we gave it a try.

My first visit to this restaurant. Great service ad fantastic food. They even offer a crocodile curry on the menu. It was a bit pricey, would have tried it if it were cheaper. I will certainly visit here again.

Had very enjoyable dinner at Cinnamon. If you know Indian food you will find a dish of your choice on the menu. If you don't know the dishes, ask for their "Specials" which are excellent. Also there are vegetarian options that are worth trying.

Our first visit to this Indian restaurant with eight family members for a Birthday celebration. It was a Saturday evening and the place was full, a good sign but we thought it might impact on the service and time we had to wait. However the service was excellent, our drinks came within a few minutes followed quickly with our popadoms. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was wonderful, very tasty and plenty of it. A very pleasant and enjoyable evening. Would highly recommend.

First visit to Cinnamon, but hugely impressed. Staff were friendly and fun and food was delicious. Very greedy and had three courses - but we did have a busy weekend and it was such a nice relaxing way finish it. Busy though - so need to book!

Just moved to the area, and decided to try out the restaurant. I had to wait for my poppadoms for a while while other diners who arrived after me got theirs first, I had to remind the waiter. Food was good though. I'm not sure how to rate this visit, so I plan to visit again and I'll then post my final verdict.

We have now had 2 takeaways from here and cannot fault the tasty delicious food. No doubt we will have more takeaways and will hopefully eat in soon!! Highly recommend the food and staff.

It was a passing visit with my family though I was born brought up here in uk as well as my three kids we don't like too spicy or too hot curries but my wife she likes hot food and knows which are authentic this place was truly exceptionally out of this world we were welcomed in by a very friendly and organised team of staff the decor and furniture we found very relaxing with hint contemporary touch our food they catered just how we would have it at home outstanding 10/10 I would recommend to any Asian family and my English friends they would love to bits very opposite of the place round the corner called blue India visited few weeks ago with a friend very disappointed came out disgusted would not touch it with a barge poll from distance again waiters hovered around you like flies could not wait for us to finish we took in turns to hold our fork so they get the message we were still eating every 10 sec someone was peeping, the food was waste of money not fresh very old Gordon Ramsay's catch fraise chef(mic) micro oven job serves back to customers what goes back to the kitchen had a joke with my friend let's see what happens to the onion Bhaji we are sending back to our surprise the onion Bhaji we marked it comes back on our table what a cheek the place should have environmental officer round surely they'll have rats running around the place is joke !!!! No go

Another fab meal at The Cinnamon. Very friendly staff, food is gorgeous and some different things on the menu. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited for a family gathering. Service was really good and menu had a good selection. Quality of food we all had was well presented and everyone enjoyed their meal. As far as Indian cuisine in Billingshurst goes this is the best.

Tried the newly established Cinnamon restaurant in Billingshurst last week-end. It was a very pleasant surprise.

Excellent range of food on the menu and authentic Indian food. A new restaurant for the village and they deserve to be successful. Friendly, efficient staff. We shall vbisit again

My wife and I visited recently and we both enjoyed our meals very much, such a delight to eat good authentic Indian food.

We tried this restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed it. All the food was tasty, but we were particularly impressed with the Goan calamari and the Tandoori king prawn jul. We'll definitely go again.

Whilst as a table of 12 we had a wait of 45 mins we never the less were treated to clearly identifiable dishes with not too much curry sauces and flavourings in force,service was professional prices reasonable.Definetly in top level of curry houses in West Sussex.

Me and my friends thought we would try this place as it was new and we are big fans of Indian food.

Called in on a Saturday night, without booking, but they managed to fit us in. Food was excellent, service was great and good value for money.

Went with friends on Tuesday and we were impressed. The service was good and attentive without being over intrusive. The food itself was very nicely presented and was enjoyable. My chicken tikka was juicy and succulent, whereas most indian restaurants seem to overcook the chicken so it becomes dry. The others enjoyed their meals - all in all we enjoyed and would recommend.

After two visits since it opened we can confirm that the food here is really special, far above your average Indian restaurant both in terms of range and sensitivity and variety of flavouring while at the same time retaining the underlying food flavours.

Not actually a dine in experience but a take-away. Chicken Tikka Masala - bright orange as expected but very strange. No heat at all and just incredibly sweet. Almost like someone had tipped a tub of Palm sugar in the vat. Slightly odd texture too. It was like a dessert for heavens sake. Rice was OK. Can't believe something so standard can go so badly wrong. Fail.

My husband and I were very excited about a new Indian restaurant in Billingshurst and received good reviews from friends who had tried it. We therefore decided to give it a try mid- week.

Most disappointed with this new restaurant. Very oily curries and strange service with people hovering around...... personally essence in billingshurst is far superior!

Went here with friends on Friday this was my 2nd visit..Food was very good - meat samosa very fresh and crisp and the naga chicken just the right level if heat if you like that which i do. Also mushroom bhaji very good ..Service improved a lot from initial week's teething problems .Great stuff hope they can maintain it..

We recently visited the new Induan Restaurant called Cinnamon in Billingshurst I strongly recommend a visit if you like Indian Cuisine my other half and friend had lamb - which can be tough - this was tender and flavoursome, whilst I had chicken with my friend which was great. This was our first family trip to the Cinnamon, I have to say from start to finish the service was excellent ! The food was also great - Try their specialties.... Good price also. We took our baby with us & she was welcomed also from the great staff.

Have eaten in once and had a couple of takeaways since opening. Each and every time the food has been amazing - really fresh and full of flavour. The chicken Zilzila is a personal favourite, nice and spicy with a real citrus kick. Have also had the Tawa Chicken, which was cooked with kafir lime leaf, and a little overpowered by the leaf so couldn't taste anything else - but this was the only thing not to like.

Getting an Indian take away was going to be the highlight of my day after spending the last three days stuck at home with a very poorly baby. Sadly, though, it all turned out to be a nightmare. Despite my husband ordering a veggie korma in person, informing the manager of my allergy to sweet peppers and being assured there wouldn't be any, he came home with a vegetable korma that, in fact, had two pieces of green pepper hiding amongst the rest of the vegetables. We only realised the "mistake" when I was eating and could taste something not quite right and I made the worrying discovery.

It's good to see that others have had good meals from this new restaurant in the village. My own experience wasn't as positive as I hoped it would be. This review is based on a takeaway for two ordered about a week after it opened. Phoned through order was was asked to pick it up forty minutes later. Staff at the restaurant were very pleasant and the receptionist (who had taken my order) chatty.

I've been here for two takeaways so far and very impressed with both meals and the friendly staff. Excellent food, generous portions and a great selection of original dishes. Also great to see some good spicy dishes on the menu. Looking forward to booking a table in the next couple of weeks and eating in.

New Restaurant apparently, thought we would try it, whilst camping down the road at the LimeBurners.

Tried this new Indian tonight and the food was amazing. Tasted so fresh and full of flavour. Unfortunately they couldn't deliver this evening and my husband had to wait an extra 10 minutes but they offered him a drink and gave us popadoms and sauces but even without the kind hospitality we would still choose this Indian again. Highly recommended and I hope that the high standard of food continues. Great menu with lots of new dishes to try that you don't get at the other Indians in the village

We had a very nice meal, but the experience was really let down by clueless staff walking around not knowing what to do, they all seemed far too young and inexperienced. The other thing that we found rather offensive is the appalling loud music throughout the restaurant, unfortunately, although the food was nice we'll not rush back...

It was their first few days of opening this contemporary Indian restaurant and it was packed on a Friday evening.
