Great Italian restaurant. A great selection of Pizza and Pasta. Caters for Vegetarians and the staff are very responsive and friendly. If you are in the area it would be worth visiting.

Booked a table and added notes to the reservation that we had a small well behaved dog that we were bringing with us and wanted to sit inside. The reservation was booked more than a month ago. Queued up at the door to introduce ourselves to be met by a loud and rude voice from the far end of the restaurant, “you can’t bring your dog in!” I told one of the waiting staff that I made it quite clear that we were bringing our dog and didn’t want to sit outdoors. She agreed and said that she had called twice that day. I asked why no message was left and was told their phone system was new and she had no idea how to leave a voicemail. We decided to go elsewhere for food but what use is being told the same day dogs are not allowed in their restaurant. So if you’ve got a dog and want to sit in the restaurant, don’t waste your time. We went to a place called the Bosham Inn and they had no problem with dogs, and the food and service were second to none. I highly recommend going there.

One of my favourite pizza places around. A wide range of options with whatever toppings you can think of. Attentive service and nice inside and outside (weather permitting) seating options.

Had the best evening dining here, our waiter (Eddie) was very knowledgeable and even gave us wine tasters as we were contemplating which to order. We both were very impressed by his warm and welcoming demeanour. The food was phenomenal, we couldn’t decide so shared two plates. The coffee and ice cream was also outstanding. Can’t wait to visit again. Quiet, laid back atmosphere, beautifully decorated and staff who care. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Extra appreciation for our server Eddie!! He ‘made’ our experience 🙌

Great food , well cooked and service is always professional and friendly

All the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The pizza was nice. My only negative would be the pasta (seafood) was a very small portion, was overpriced for the amount served. That said, we would return for pizza 😊

Had our works Christmas Dinner here for the 2nd year! 👌👍 very good food every meal from starter to dessert were delicious, freshly cooked great ingredients definitely worth a visit best pizza/pasta restaurant in the area in my opinion. Keep up the good work.

Staff were alright my food had to send back as only just warm, even when came back could have been hotter Disappointed.

Food was well priced, good portion sizes and good quality! Saw another table get a calzone, looked big enough to feed 2! Milkshake was amazing, definitely worth the price tag. Cocktail (english garden) was sickly sweet unfortunately

Absolutely great evening with 11 friends on a Friday night before Christmas. My first visit and it was brilliant. Service couldn’t have been better, pizza was brilliant and for a large group we were really looked after. There was a small accident at the table where one of the group knocked a drink over a pizza. The drink and pizza were replaced swiftly free of charge, which was very much appreciated. Will be coming back!

We eat the restaurant today, was a lovely meal. Was relaxed, not rushed great service the food was lovely so much of it and they even will box up the left overs for a takeaway would eat here again highly recommend.

Decided to go with a friend who loves Italian food and CHK didn't disappoint! The food was fantastic and service on point. Venue is delightfully different to chain restaurants and looking forward to trying it in the summer, when the outdoor section will be great. Will definitely go again!

I took a group of 23 diners to CHK on Friday evening. Great atmosphere, excellent food and a really friendly and professional service. We will certainly return.

Visit on the 26th.. So why only 3* ?.. simple really & as 1 of my guests fed back, the lack of a stand alone fish inspired dish on the revamped menu, was & is in our collective ( 4 ) opinion, a mistake !.. You offer a stand alone steak option & a number of dishes where shell fish is included, but no fish dish..🤔🤔. Taken in it's entirety, we did enjoy our evening, though I did feel that the gap between starters & mains was a tad too long. Fingers crossed you give consideration to offering a fish inspired dish again..

Absolutely wonderful evening. The service was excellent and still friendly. The food was delicious, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the apple pie thing for dessert 😛😛😛 We were the last ones in there on a Tuesday night and didn't feel rushed or like they were waiting for us to leave. Which made me very happy.

Online order lost. After entering all info, received confirmation text. No record of the order when I arrived. Said I would have to wait an hour. No sense of urgency or customer service.

Best pizza I’ve ever had - and I’ve lived in Italy for 3 years.

The team are super attentive and the atmosphere is very nice with the big oak trees outside. The kitchen team pushed the boat out and adapted one of the crab pasta dishes to suit my dietary requirements. Much appreciated! See you soon

The service is painfully slow! They don’t have enough staff to cope with a busy evening, been here 3 times and you have to wait at least 1 hour for a simple pizza every time. Not worth the visit!

So, this our regular post West Witterings stopover for an evening meal en famille. So far so good. Happy to accommodate our Vizsla outside and good, honest pizza & fresh pasta. Until yesterday evening on our daughter’s birthday. My wife’s gluten free pizza looked like it had come out of an amateur bbq - blackened all around & tough as old boots. We’d waited nearly half an hour, so weren’t encouraged to accept the offer of other one from the waitress…When we complained to the Manager, she unhelpfully reminded us of the waitress’ offer & eventually took 10% of the bill. Oh dear, talk about lost opportunity to delight regular customers! And to add salt to the wounds, the noisy table next to us were using foul language in front of young ones! Not our evening!

If I could give this restaurant no stars, I would. The service was very slow, but absolutely worse of all was that I explained I was vegan and I asked for a vegan salad which they said they could do. They then proceeded to give me a salad with meat in which I didn’t recognise as I haven’t eaten meat for 40 years. I was absolutely distraught when I realised what they had done. I will survive this but if they made a similar careless mistake like this with someone who had a food allergy, they may not. Shame on them.

Is on busy road but you don't notice it. Service very good, there was an on the job trainee and she was been taught very well.

Driven 20 miles to have a crab pasta as we have done twice before unfortunately the dish this time was dry and lacked any cream the crab was hard to find . Got the impression this dish had been cooked a little while and dried out. It was served lukewarm overall poor . It has put us off travelling that far for a disappointment. Neville

Booked a table on an extremely hot evening, arrived to be told we had to sit inside where it was absolutely boiling hot. Outside tables were reserved but we were told their outside table reservations were not working on line?? So how has anyone reserved a table outside ? We asked to sit somewhere outside and was told we could sit in the field but we had to come in and order it would be takeaway food only and an hour wait!! The hosts were extremely rude and unhelpful and made us feel like they couldn’t care less about finding their customers a table in 27 degree heat. All they did was blame goodwood ! If you book a table in advance you should have priority and in this extremely hot weather with all your outside seating, you should be organised and serving customers outside with the space you have! No management no customer service, didn’t even eat here and would not return. Ridiculous rules and unorganised business in general.

We keep coming back! Good pizza/ pasta menu. Good variety of toppings. Service was attentive and friendly. Relaxing lunch with my adult son. Ticked all the boxes.

Terrible service! Table booked for 1730, pizza arrived at 1930 Waited 2hours, no apology just the ‘supervisor’ (a lady) denying we had waited that long! No customer service at all! Clearly a problem with the restaurant perhaps the owners should be looking into the issues! Could be a lovely restaurant, unfortunately would not recommend nor would go back.

We were one of 3 tables booked together. Our group were all seated at the same time but one table were not permitted to order for an hour after being seated and then waited over an hour for their food. Meantime other groups were in and out of the restaurant having had 3 courses. No apologies given or explanation. When we complained we were spoken to incredibly rudely and no offer to reduce the bill. Begrudgingly they took off the service charge. Never had such poor customer service and the food did nothing to make up for it. Pizzas were soggy and unappetising. So that’s 24 customers who won’t ever be returning which is a shame as we have a holiday property in the area.

This is by the far the best pizza in Chichester, possibly ever. It's freshly made and there is an amazing selection of pizza flavourings. We've been 3 times in 2 weeks. We simply can't get enough of this place. It's in a beautiful setting and we enjoy eating outside. On a Friday and Saturday they have the bar outside, which is fantastic. The staff are lovely, very efficient and friendly. We've been very impressed with Hayden and Charlie who have served us each time. Highly recommend.

Just popped by for spontaneous lunch with a friend. We couldn't have wished for a better venue, albeit weather non compliant! Staff offered friendly welcome, couldn't have been more polite and helpful. The menu is varied, offering options for every taste. We tried both pizza and a salad, each of them were superb. Value for money I thought was excellent. Plenty of parking available. I'll definitely be back soon.

This past visit would have been my 5th since it opened. Previous visits were V v good. This one, just, well, bad all round. More table servers standing around chatting than doing their job. Waiting way too long for our table to be cleaned/cleared and all the while the staff - when not chatting - were laying cutlery & napkins for empty tables !! Waiting way too long for desert ( 20 minutes) which we eventually cancelled 😡 we received Zero service, and they got zero service charge. Note to owners: must do better if you want to maintain regular clients.

4 of us visited for the 1st time on May 3rd.. All boxes ticked..😊👍.. Until next time..😊

So pizza is great and tasty. Sitting outside on lawn also nice. Picnic a great idea. But the staff are a bit clueless and lost. Spoils the atmosphere as they seem to be a bit untrained. That puts pressure on manager who is at least trying. Would not come here for sit down meal as staff spoils atmosphere but would do take away or picnic on lawn.

Delicious! I ordered something I normally wouldn't (like a stuffed focaccia), and it was beyond delicious. Very clean and nice people!

Amazing chef, glorious pizza but single star simply because of poor management. Folks, the puds here are legendary. So if you book a table for 7.30pm you would surely expect to get served a pud before the kitchen closed at 9.30pm? Nope. Restaurant only half full and even after we complained about slow service and closed kitchen it still took 20 mins for the bill to arrive. Lots of staff, v poor management. Huge disappointment.

Tasty, expensive and awful car park that could seriously damage your vehicle, which is not organised for the number of vehicles that could be there.

This is a great place for a slight twist on pizza with delicious toppings and authentic bases. Always fabulous service.

Food was ok, seafood black pasta was ok but not much seafood. Plus 2 large parties and noise was deafening. Need to deaden the sound in the planned extension.

Cider House is my ‘go-to’ place for pizza. They produce some excellent dishes in the kitchen and the waiting staff are committed and attentive when it comes to service. Peroni on draught finishes it all off perfectly. Nice to see they are extending the premises. Great place all round. MJB Chichester, West Sussex.

We ate at Cider House Kitchen tonight having passed it a few times in the car. Wow, what a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, as good as anything we have eaten in Italy. The pizza especially was spectacular! All the staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you everyone for a memorable evening. It goes without saying we highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely staff and service, excellent décor, I really loved my Foucco Rosso pizza, the spice was just right and toppings all fresh and well-balanced. The Crab Tagliolini was mainly pasta and lots of chilli, which doesn't work as crab is a very delicate flavour, and there was very little crab to begin with. More crab and less chilli would be much better, as the customer can always add chilli later. The Diavolo pizza also does not mention chilli's, but it was coated in Jalapeno's and was not advertised as a spicy pizza, it was the same spice as the Foucco Rosso which is rightly advertised as very spicy. If they were slightly less mad about adding chilli, this would certainly be a five-star restaurant in my view!

Good pizza, affordable & good service

We were outside, unfortunately sat next to a group of drunk middle-aged men making a racket. We complained to the waiter about the noise, who told us it wasn't the restaurant's problem. Wasn't impressed with the service and won't be rushing back.

Loved the pizza, along with great service

Had a lovely relaxing meal outside watching the sunset yesterday. The staff were friendly and professional , especcilly Eddie who served all evening. We had the mushroom risotto for starters , and the Lasagne plus Arrabiara for the main followed by the " share " apple pizza pie with ice cream. Everything was freshly cooked , we were told by Eddie the Lasagne would would take 25mins to cook and it was well worth the wait. Excellend food at reasonanle prices.

Relaxed and comfortable, Cider House is a gem. Try the sharing starters, amazing.....also save some space for a pudding, totally irresistible.....try it, you won't regret it!

After prebooking a table for lunch with our children and dog, we were able to have a table outside with the dog. The staff were lovely - friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Even when the milkshake machine broke, they managed to make us some by hand. The food was delicious and so were the milkshakes. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again!

I was told it is lovely pizza’s there so I went there yesterday with my daughter and her family as it was her birthday, we booked a table that was fine we had drinks then ordered the food after about half an hour the starter arrived then an hour later the pizzas arrived burnt cold and not nice very thin not a lot of filling and very expensive for what we got , that is the first time there and the last i will not recommend it at all

Very poor service. Waited 45 minutes just for a starter then an extra 20+ minutes for main! Shame because the food was really good.

Stopped off having heard the pizzas are good and it didn’t disappoint. Atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxed but the service is spot on. Totally see why this place is so busy.

Fresh meals and kind staff. The building was generally good quality all round. I rate 4 star only because the outdoor area's shelter (as of when I am writing this review) has collapsed and the chairs nasty table s were a bit dirty. By other than that a great restaurant, would recommend!

Food was tasty . Waitress very polite. Lacks clear information regarding vegan options inc prices . So make sure you know how much the vegan option is when you are ordering .

We didn't eat in, just ordered takeaway. We tried it out because I'd read it had the best gluten free base and my OH verifies that this is true. My wheat base was utterly scrumptious, proper pizza! There was a long wait so if you're not prepared to wait for really good food, don't order. Really worth it though.

Disappointing. I ordered lasagna and was told the wait would be 25 minutes. I was happy with this as we were having a starter and weren't in a particular rush. It arrived over an hour later and when it did it was underwhelming and under seasoned. My husband asked to swap pepperoni for courgette on his pizza as we are vegetarian. When the bill arrived we were charged courgette as an addition. Most restaurants would swap an item particularly as the meat additions are charged at £1.50 and the veg as £1. Will give this restaurant a miss next time we are in the area!

Amazing Pizza and lovely staff. We came here as a table of 6 for my sons birthday. The service was great. We had 4 pizzas and the Tuna Salad. Not a single crumb left on any plate. There was a large grassy tree lined area outside, which the children enjoyed playing and letting off steam whilst waiting for the food.

Absolutely delicious pizza n garlic pizza, the young guy who served us this evening for our takeaway was friendly, knowledgeable n a definite asset to your company.

Excellent pizza with great ambience. The crab pasta was also fantastic! The service was astounding and they do really care about serving well. Would highly recommend!

Excellent food. Pity they weren't following COVID rules. We walked out after the manager refused to deal with the issue and reported them after the owners didn't reply to my email with a clear apology. Hopefully they will be safer now.

Was meaning to try this place for so long having driven past numerous times and I just wish we had tried it sooner! Such a well run little spot, absolutely superb staff and pizzas were spot on. Thank you team!

A fantastic restaurant. Delicious pizzas with thin bases from the pizza oven. Excellent drinks and I would recommend the Mela Cotta for desert. Eddie our waiter was absolutely brilliant! Will be returning as soon as we can!
