Cibo Italian Eatery in Bolton

First time eating here and it was amazing, service was excellent, food was gorgeous going back next month.

We've dined here 3 times over the last 4 weeks & every aspect has been great. So, if you want delicious Italian food, in a clean & cosy bistro, served & helped by friendly, polite & skilful staff........ it's a no-brainer!

Took my daughter for a meal tonight here. First time. Everything was fantastic from the gentleman who booked us in, to the friendly waitress who was fantastic and then the quality chefs, who were also great with my little girl. Will 100% be back. Superb food.

Hadn't been here for a good while but won't leave it as long before we return. Had a truly excellent lunch in this cosy bistro - delicious food, beautifully presented, piping hot, complemented by great service from friendly staff. Good pricing too. Well worth a visit 10/10.

Lovely restraunt and staff. The food was delicious and came within 15 minutes of us ordering it. The food is a great price and the drinks are too. Would 100% recommend.

Nice food .. not much atmosphere New Year’s Eve lunchtime. The experience was spoiled by extortionate prices for drinks 🤨 Fruit shoot ( child) £2.95 Soda water. £ 2.00 Peroni ( small bottle) £6.95 😬😲 Won’t be going again!!

Delicious breakfast frittata with friends

Great place to eat. Cozy and friendly. The staff were on hand to see if you needed anything and as we left the chefs looked to us as if to say 'What did you think?'. They really cared about that they prepared and served. I had Lobster Ravioli and it was sublime. Yes yes YES!!!

Very limited gluten free food. The man said I could order but without the bread! Difficult with pate and still pay full price. 😢 The do gf pasta but although requested when booked the don’t do garlic bread or pizza. As more people with food allergies I thought they would be more able to adapt. It’s nothing to buy gf and freeze until required. They charged £30 for beef stroganoff which I found rather expensive. Just really disappointed 😢

Called on spec they fit us in no problem service was good. Food came quickly and was very tasty. Prices fair beer slightly expensive but the wine was really nice and beer peroni so hey ho.

Anniversary meal with Brother and Sister in law, service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious, although only small restaurant experience was excellent and will definitely recommend it to anyone who likes Italian cuisine.

Initially seated in a very cramped corner, but after a polite word staff were very good enough to find us a better table. Both the Service and the food were very good and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Love Cibo. Amazing food every time!

The Sunday / Monday deal was really fabulous value. Saying that, they must reclaim some of that money back on the drinks prices - £6.95 for a pint of shandy, £8.50 for a large glass of house wine etc etc. Some recent reviews mention being rushed, but we weren’t. Quite the contrary, in fact. The meal was very enjoyable - the only observation being that one of the courses was quite salty. Would return.

CIBO is always a delightful place to visit and it is difficult to fault in any way. The choice, preparation and delivery of all dishes is exactly as it should be, the staff are all pleasant and helpful at all times and the background sound of Italian accents from the kitchen adds to the pleasures. It is often totally packed-out and it can get very loud with the chatter of happy diners and many renditions of Happy Birthday 🎈 so be prepared 🥳 PS I'll take some pics next time

Not been before but will definitely be going back can't fault anything food was fresh hot and tasty, staff very good, the only thing we thought was the drinks a little over priced.

We went for a bite on a Monday lunchtime, it was pretty busy which is normally a good sign. The service was excellent and the food was tasty, I just had a lite Sandwich but it was filling and reasonably priced. My colleagues had linguini and ceasar salad and they both enjoyed it. Will visit again when I am in the area 😁

This is an authentic Italian restaurant, there hard to find these days . The food had lots of flavour the pasta was cooked to perfection . The staff were all welcoming too . I'd definitely recommend 👌

Lovely place to eat, friendly staff, good service and an excellent choice on the menu. Decent amount of Veggie options on the menu too. My only criticism would be the Greek salad - which does not resemble a Greek salad in any way other than the Feta cheese. Its just a leafy green salad.

CIBO offers a fantastic experience every time. The food is excellent and affordable and the staff are lovely.

I ordered Parma ham, spicy pizza and the creme brûlée. The Parma ham and the pizza were pretty good but the brûlée wasn’t the best, needed a little more vanilla and the texture was a bit off. Service could of been a bit better but other than that it was good

Cibo’s is our absolute favourite restaurant, the food is always amazing and the staff are so welcoming. Recommend to everyone I know.

Excellent food great staff. Never been in and lived in the area for 20 years. Went for my belated birthday booked table for 17.30 had a call back to move to 17.45 as big table arriving at same time. Small cosy restaurant, attentive staff and approx 59 covers and to evening sittings. Staff very attentive, even though busy food was excellent served quickly but never felt rushed as per some previous reviews. Very well priced so great value for money and to boot excellent food. Lovely wine menu but I was driving always the next time as will definitely visit again. If you are out walking in the area lovely breakfast and lunch menu. Think we have found a new favourite place in the area. Thanks Bekim and team Cibo.

Cibo is one of our favourite restaurants but the staff working tonight made us feel like we were an inconvenience we felt rushed to the point of feeling uncomfortable.As soon as the last of our party put their fork down the waitress rushed over and took the plates away.The food was of the usual high standard but the evening was slightly spoilt by the service

Everything is perfect here. First place around Bolton that we have enjoyed. Pizza is beautiful, no grease. Pasta is amazing, all food comes out piping hot! Service is beautiful, including guys in the kitchen. We felt very welcome here. Oh! By the way. Your coffee is amaaaaazing 🤍

My absolute favourite restaurant!! And the staff are such lovely people that can't do enough for you! Iv eaten a cibos regularly had breakfast lunch and tea and never had a bad meal, always spot on 👌 infact twice now iv booked out the whole restaurant to serve 40 people and the second 32 and amazingly all our food came pretty much at the same time, such an amazing environment and the lobster ravioli is to die for!! 🤤 if your looking for Italian food that's going to make your taste buds dance, service with a smile and a great environment 1000% go to cibos 😊 you won't be disappointed 😉

Had a recent visit with my 2 sons their first time.The food as always was excellent however one member of staff was quite awful from the moment we walked in what was the must alarming thing she was the elder of the team & should lead by example .

Lovely cozy little restaurant and good food.

We've been coming to Cibo for years and are huge fans, however the last couple of times we've felt rushed; starters appear almost as soon as you've ordered and the mains were there barely seconds after the starters were taken away. The food is great and the atmosphere really nice & laid back...however, it's a night out for us - not a race!

Me and my family have been coming here since it opened years ago. We go a few times a month as we live very close, always tasty food and the owner Beckham is always so welcoming. They do a lovely Pinot Giorgio too and they have homemade profiteroles that I love!

I attended the restaurant at 6pm to purchase a takeaway. My order taken by a lady and was told would be 30 mins. I returned 35 mins later and the order hadn’t been given to the kitchen so no food to take. The kitchen and lady who took the order just argued with each other. Which looked great with the restaurant full. Thank you for the none apology and your amazing customer service

We have been here before . The food has been good . This visit ..ordered drinks . Came back run out of orange sorry .ok Ordered starter . Came back sorry out of avocados . Ordered main .Bare in mind choice very limited as my daughter is gluten free and has to stick to it . No garlic bread . One pre made pizza ... in a restaurant ..pre made ?? . We politely said to waitress l think we will have to go then . She begged us to stay and talk to chef . It appeared she would be in trouble if we left .My poor daughter was feeling very pressured and upset . Not creating or wanting any fuss . She was a lovely waitress . Very apologetic . Not her fault . We got up and paid for the drink . On leaving the chef asked why we were leaving so soon . Again a lengthy explanation causing more embarrassment . He was somewhat persistent that they had other foods she could have . When you are gluten free your choices are immediately limited . But if you dont see what you want and half the choices are not available you should not feel the need to leave under a cloud of embarrassment due to them not having whats on the menu . The chef wasnt polite . He lacked understanding and l felt was rude and off hand . My poor daughter was very upset . When you go for a meal which you are paying for . Its surely your right to choose what you want to eat . Without all that fuss . It spoiled a lovely night out .

First time will not be our last. I had the calamiri starter and lamb main course and I don't believe I have ever had better! My family all enjoyed and echo my sentiments.

Lovely homely intimate Italian restaurant. Fantastic service, very attentive and efficient, but food was mixed. The half cheese, half tomato garlic bread was extremely tasty as was the tiramasu, which was light, creamy with a delicious almond flavour. However, the aubergine bake was a little bland and the side of bread undercooked, more like hard bread rather than grilled toast or soft fresh bread. It was neither toast or bread. My friends both loved their main dishes.

Delicious food! Definitely recommend the food! The only thing stopping it being a 5 star was the poor service but other than that it was lush.

Modern Italian restaurant great choice and value

It was actually very good, we were looking for somewhere for a quick meal and we got a quick and very tasty one, I had a calzone and my partner a lasagna, both were a good size and well made. Would definitely stop there again.

Food and drink good, service so so. Despite the place not being very busy we had to ask for dessert menus, then had to ask for coffee. There was never "can I get you anything else?" Several tables were left uncleared for a good while too. Waitress had a can't be bothered air about her.

Was passing through and really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant for breakfast. Lovely staff, very cheerful and great food and coffee. My baby loved watching the chefs work in the kitchen and I was equally amazed at how slick an operation they run, I enjoyed watching them too! Thanks for a lovely morning 😊
