Really lovely staff and the food was faultless. Sometimes there was a queue but so worth the short wait time. Wonderful for such fresh and delicious food! Try the chicken tikka kebab or fresh haddock and chips. Absoutely delicious and staff very friendly and helpful too

Great food from Carol. Very reasonable prices. Crispy chips and lovely chilli. All you could need if you can't be bothered to cook or bbq. Can be a bit of a wait when busy but freshly made food takes time.

Great little fast food shack on the camp site - serves the usual burgers/nuggets etc but also some really nice sounding specials such as curries and peri chicken. Friendly lady to boot - what's not to like.

The food was ok but the two brothers running the show were obnoxious and rude. The parents are good people and I'm surprised they are allowed to run riot, not only in the take away but around the site.

Yuck!! Not a nice camp site. Forget eating here, open a tin of beans instead!! Would not recommend this site at all!!

One highlight of Chy Carne was the pizza at Snack Shack. It is one of the nicest pizzas ive ever had, Im actually dribbling now while I picture it.

Not a huge menu, but more than enough to get you in the mood for food!! Reasonable prices for a holiday park and the food we had was lovely quality, although I had wanted a Squid and Chorizo Salad, but unfortunately they had no squid available so settled for a BBQ pulled pork burger, which was very tasty and certainly filled the hole in my stomach.

The owners of the campsite have taken over the running of the snack shack and hugely improved the offering! We had a pulled pork burger and a cheese burger with fries which were both well seasoned and tasty. The chips did taste like they were either over done or the oil was old.

We stayed at chy carne, and had an awesome time. We enjoyed it so much we staid another 3 nights. The campsite is very basic but for the price £21.50 PN with electric hook up. baring in mind their was 5 of us staying there and our dog. I can honestly say iv staid at many campsites and this has to be one of the best. The showers are 50p for 5 minutes and 10p every minute there after so not so bad and I must say the water was hot unlike others, the only one thing I will say about the showers is u have to keep pushing the tap in to get it to stay on but if u lean in on the tap u can get continued (hot)water. The views from the chy carne are some of the best views iv seen and I grew up in Cornwall. I would go back and have recommended it. My sister is going back this week and so are my parents. Altho my parents and staying in a caravan. So for me it has to be 4 and a half stars would have gave 5 if it wasn't for the shower's

Considering this is on a campsite with a captive audience and sea views they could charge alot more. However they keep the prices very reasonable and the quality high. I had the pork burger and chips a few times. The food was always cooked perfectly and to order. No microwave rubbish here. Would recommend.

For a quick brekkie before heading out or something quick for tea. This place was ideal and the couple who runt it are lovely.

Food from here as great, but it's the couple who run it who are the real stars!We needed advice on the local doctors on call and they got us info and numbers straight away. They were great with our kids, who insisted on ordering their own food themselves and despite working a lot of hours they were always smiling !

I couldn't believe how cheap the food was compared to services in Scotland. The food tasted great, and made to order. Nice selection of meals and snacks available. I will definitely be back to visit. Very friendly couple who serve.
