Hi, as a family we used to use to be very loyal customers of chutney and used chutney for every curry we had. Recently I mean in the last few months we feel that we should choose another take away as the food has changed a lot, it seems like the ingreditsnt change every time we order and the mint yogurt and mango chutney tastes as if it has cleaning product in it. Unsure what’s happened but definitely not as good as it used to be. Ordered from there tonight and the korma was tasteless (which is something as it has a very mild taste as it is) but my little boy usually devours it and today he pulled faces at it and would only eat the rice. Very disappointed by this.

Usually this restaurant is great and we never go anywhere else, however tonight our food was originally delivered to the wrong place (which they have never done before). Then when receiving the food we noticed we got 2 chicken kormas when we ordered 2 tikka kormas, the sauce on one was fine but the other was quite watery and left a puddle on the bottom of my plate. And the chips were cold and very soggy this time too. Don't know what was going on there tonight but the foods standards were not up to par this time

Vegetable masala was too sweet, chicken vindaloo was chewy and tasted like hot sauce - not vindaloo sauce. The chana masala tasted like cabbage and was bland and watery. The only positive was the friendly delivery driver.

Lamb tikka madras was tasteless and the lamb was so tough it was inedible. Order arrived early from just eat which makes me think that the meat was already pre cooked then heated up.never had lamb that chewy before. Ordered here a few times before and the meal was always good.

I asked for potatoes in my vindaloo but on the tin is said “no potatoes” also the chicken in my chicken curry wasn’t edible as it was soo dry

Really good food. Arrived hot. Mango chutney was very different to what I’m use to and didn’t taste like mango but was ok. Naan bread could be more garlicky, I could smell it but not too much on taste. Will order here again

Amazing Indian. Best in Woking

Having previously left a poor review as, although the food was excellent, the service wasn’t, I received a letter (in the post) from the manager explaining that was not at all normal. Having given them another chance I can confirm that the food is excellent (when they say hot it is very hot, but tasty.) and there service has been perfect ever since. Recommended.

Wow! This was the freshest most delicious curry we have had in such a long time. The Pathia full of flavour with a real spicy kick as it should. and the korma was so thick, coconutty and rich. The garlic naan was soft and just delicious. Would highly recommend! Food came in 30 minutes and was piping hot on a Friday night. Really impressed

Absolutely delicious and authentic. This is now our regular Indian in Woking. Food is authentic and quite healthy due to fresh ingredients, no oil being used.

I was very disappointed with our dinner. The popadoms were crushed, £4 for 2 tiny samosas, the lamb was way over cooked and chewy (only 5 pieces in my dish!!) And the garlic in my curry tasted like it was pickled (like vinegar), not fresh. The biryani was unimpressive but okay, so were the nana breads. I will not be ordering again.

Food was hot, of very high quality, loads of flavour and even came with a box of after eights! Would highly recommend from ordering here.

The food was very disappointing - the colour of the curries was an unappetising almost fuorescent red and yellow, and the taste was very very mediocre. Will not order again. Only good side was the quick delivery...

Food was on time but only luke warm when it arrived. Starters – Onion Bhajis – were good. Veg Samosas two tiny veg samosas for £3.95 – a total rip off ! Main Courses – Pilau Rice and Veg side dishes were ok but bland. Keema Naan – had a very small amount of minced lamb in it, probably around 20% of the naan was filled minced lamb . Royal Chicken Tikka curry – this tasted slightly off and after both tasting it decided Chicken Biryani – this was under spiced and under seasoned, the rice was very plain. The chicken was several very small chewy dried up bits.

Everything is so bland... Peshwari naan tasted like plain naan and had nearly no filling... Poppadoms really thick, rice's bland, tikka no flavour, tough and as if it were boiled... No char on it at all. Bhuna was just sauce, no onions, green Pepper or tomato. Lovely customer service... But unfortunately the food was a real let down... Disappointed as I feel I've wasted nearly 50 on bland food.

Unfortunately what we had was poor. Mine tasted like it had been in a slow cooker all day and I could taste no spices or seasoning as you would expect from a curry normally. There were no onions or peppers as described. My girlfriend's vegetable Jalfrezi again lacked any taste of spice or seasoning and had no sauce. The rice, podadoms and naan were fine. Would not order from here again.

Food was brilliant as always. Only place we ever get curry from. Wish there was just a little more sauce in the curry as there isnt always enough for the amount of rice

Outstanding juicy high quality meat. One’s life is incomplete without a meal from Chutney. As a life long vegetarian, imposed at birth by my parents membership of the Parsnip and Water Cress cult I was cruelly denied the experience of a normal well balanced meal. After managing to run away and escape the allotment, the first thing I did was to order a chicken and lamb tandoori from Chutney. My life has for ever been changed. Thank you Chutney

Appreciate it was a Saturday night but the delivery time was unachievable.. I ordered a lamb dish with garlic and chilli.. Much as I love garlic I would estimate around 30 cloves in one dish! Got to the point I was just taking out what I could... If this is the actual recipe then I apologise, but even for garlic lovers this seems a tad excessive

Very disappointed by the food, Luke warm when it arrived. The chicken tikka masala in particular was like coconut milk with red food colouring. Very disappointing flavour. Portion sizes were disappointing too cartons only half full.

I was expecting a great meal going by the previous reviews but I found it average at best. The meal was late so I popped the food in the oven to heat up, on removal I noticed the containers lids were plastic and had started to melt! The oven wasn’t over 100c so maybe not the best lids to use for takeaways. I ordered the Madras and is was lacking the overall spice and heat you would expect. The Onion Bhajis were plain and didn’t come with a side lemon. The portions were big as a plus point but it just felt like the quality wasn’t there.

Meal was delivered got and in time. Madras was just right, not too hot lots of chicken . Chicken biryani according to hubby was very nice, he doesn't like anything too spicy.

I have ordered few times from here and it’s been decent but my last order the taste was very basic. It was my birthday dinner and we were very disappointed.

I was recommended to use chutneys as we’ve had so many bad outcomes with other Indian take aways. I must say I was very happy , I think the price for the meal deal is amazing for what u get. Saag aloo was delicious and potato’s soft. Rice was lovely, some parts of the chicken was a little dry but not all of it. I thought portion sizes were great & the Poppadoms are huge! I will definitely order again.

Both curries were bland with no flavour - very disappointing

Chicken Makhani was lukewarm and very underwhelming in flavour. No depth in spice. Onion Bhaji was very good though. The Prawn dish did deliver on taste although prawns were overcooked. Very average all round.
