Small, bright, unfussy tea rooms near Seaford's town centre. Friendly service and good offering of cakes and bakes (also loose leaf teas) for afternoon tea. And a reasonable price. It was quiet this fine and sunny Sunday afternoon, but I don't think it's always this way! Thanks for the tip TripAdvisor!

Lovely little cafe, friendly staff. Delicious flatbread sandwich (goat cheese, chutney and rocket) which came with excellent bit of salad garnish. Dog-friendly too. Will defo return.

Visited by chance as the cafe we normally use had lost the plot. The cafe is small but the service was good as was the food. They are dog friendly and made us and the dog feel welcome. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely visit again. Only have a limited number of tables, so it might be difficult at times to find a table. We had no difficulty on a Monday lunchtime.

Arrived late-ish on a Friday afternoon having had a cold walk with friends; had a fabulous pot of tea and slices of Victoria Sponge for all. My son declared it the best Vicky Sponge he's ever had, and he's had a few. Best of all, the owners were so welcoming and kind, we stayed past their closing time and when we eventually realised and departed, they were nothing but gracious having not made any signs that we were late leaving. I am grateful to them for this as it had been a difficult day and their kindness (and the tea) were so refreshing. Highly recommend.

We had a some great tasting freshly made scones with great decaf coffee. Plus loose tea in a teapot. Warm and welcoming owners and tea room. Perfect after a bracing walk along the seafront on a wild January afternoon. Very dog friendly.

I was so impressed with my delicious quiche and buttery boiled potatoes, and the eggs hollandaise enjoyed by my husband were super as well. Ice cold can of lemony San Pellegrano, what more could a person want to eat?

We both had the homemade leek and potato soup with hot focaccia bread - delicious. The table next to us were delighted with their pizzas. Welcoming environment, efficient and friendly staff.

We went to the Church lane Tea Room in Order to have the original English Afternoon Tea eyperience. The Scones were delightful and the tea was lovely. The Service was friendly and Professional. We would come back any day if it weren‘t for the 600 km distance!😂

What a delightful experience!.. We were to Seaford on so many occasions and I just cannot understand how come we did not discover this place before. An outstanding service (a big thank you to the members of team for it!), very lovely decor that makes you feel very cosy inside, great selection of teas, an excellent choice of “salted” and “sweet”/baked varieties. We both really enjoyed our cream teas with warm scones and home-made Victoria plum preserve (you can also purchase a jar to bring home, which is an excellent idea). And the tea cups come with saucers!.. Card payments are accepted, which is highly appreciated as it is not a given in Seaford. A solid 5 star. We look forward to being back and highly recommend this place to everyone.

Came here for brunch, Eggs Florentine (spinach), Tart from specials Stilton and Apricot, delicious 😋, caffeterie for 1 and peppermint tea (loose leaf), all very good 👍🏻.

Visited for a late lunch during Seaford's Art Wave Week. They weren't overly keen as it was getting late, but cooked a superb mushroom tagliatelle for my partner and I, with lovely fresh salad sides.

I went for brunch with a friend to this lovely little cafe today. The owners are great, very helpful and attentive. We both had eggs Benedict with tea. The tea is served in cute China cups with saucers. The cafe is quite small so it’s good to book. But a Really lovely place. Will definitely go back

Visited after reading positive reviews but so disappointed. We had the set tea, and the sandwich bread was so dry, chewy and tasteless it was indigestible. Following that theme, the scones were tasteless and stodgy, served with a very small amount of supermarket jam and cream. My friend’s pot of tea was standard, but my cappuccino was just lukewarm, with no froth and covered with way too much chocolate powder. There was also a very strange and uncomfortable atmosphere in the tiny dining room, as though the other customers were regular stalwarts who resented strangers and were trying to stare them out. Got out as quickly as we could!

Lovely little tea and coffee ☕😋 shop, been a few times over a few years. Nice home made scones. Not far from sea front, easy walk. Nice and old fashioned.

A quaint and warm place where the Victoria and Carrot cakes were to die for! The locals being there made us feel like we were in a very authentic tea salon meant to sip our tea, reconnect with old friends, make new ones, or just simply wait for the rain to stop.

I’ve been looking forward to a cream tea for so long. We fortunately found the one parking space opposite and after our long walk wandered inside. It was the best cream tea I can remember having. Warm freshly baked scones, home made jam and light clotted cream a plenty. The perfect combination along with a huge pot of delicious hot tea served in china tea cups. The owners were friendly and helpful too and I loved the personal touches. We bought homemade marmalade to take away. All this along with really reasonable prices. We will definitely be back soon…and maybe try the amazing homemade cakes as well next time!

Visit this place because reviews were good but we were very disappointed. The place was so small inside. Tables so close together, we couldn’t here ourselves talk. The food took a while to come out and was tasteless. Won’t be going back.

What a lovely little place, been here a few times and either had lunch or coffee and cake, both are equally tasty. Everything is prepared with love and care and local quality ingredients. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming and the decor is charming. We will definitely be going back and i think I'll buy a voucher for high tea (with bubbles) for a gift for my mum and sister.

After walking to the Seven Sisters we went to this fantastic cafe for afternoon tea. What a lovely place! Everything was homemade and delicious! I had the best cherry tart I’ve ever tasted and my husband had scones with jam (also homemade) and cream. The staff were so friendly and the only disappointment was we had to rush to catch a train otherwise we would still be eating!

Fantastic little cafe/tea room. Not massive but on a nice day there are a couple of tables outside. The treacle tart with clotted cream is just amazing. I had the mushrooms and bacon on toast last time and it was simply devine. Can't fault this place. It's run by the nicest people too so service is great. It's not massive and only has a handful of tables but that's part of its charm. A must visit if you are in Seaford. Recently been back and the treacle tart is still amazingly good. 👍🥧

Had a lovely breakfast here with my friend. The bread they used for our sandwich was so great and soft. Owners were so so nice, atmosphere was pleasant with locals bantering. We arrived at opening time 9am Sunday, and there were already customers chitchatting with one another.

Lovely food, atmosphere, very reasonable prices, well worth a visit , we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Spectacular cream tea with scones straight out of the oven and home made jam. Plus sublime choc cake and real tea with leaves and a strainer. Fabulous!

Decorated in a homely style. Cosy so can feel a little crowded when busy. Not much ventilation and windows were all misted up. Unfortunately kitchen had closed early duexto New Years Eve, but the guy serving was very nice and told us straight away. The coffee was not very strong and a bit bland.

My daughter and I had an uncomfortable experience at this tea room. It is so small and the tables are so close together ( not exactly COVID friendly!) It was all steamed up! Everyone stares at you and hears your conversation. I ordered devilled mushrooms...

Superb! My friend took me here and had told me their pastry was excellent. It certainly was. I had the mushroom flan and then, despite having eaten sufficient, could not resist treacle tart with clotted cream. Absolutely gorgeous. Great service and value.
