Very tasty, satisfying selection for veggies and ‘omnivores.’ We’d chosen them before and were happy to have a quick lunch there again. Served quickly, enjoyed, and on our way again! Thank you.

I deliberately chose to stop at Watford Gap to visit Chozen. However, when I arrived at 12pm there was a big red barrier pulled across. I saw a young man getting the food sorted and I asked him “are you open?” To which he replied “no” in a very abrupt manner. I then pointed to the opening hours and said “it says you open at 11:30am” to which he said, again in an abrupt tone, “not necessarily, I only got here at 11:30” - I ended up having a McDonald’s in the end. I noticed that he didn’t officially open till 12:30pm and in that 30 minutes Chozen missed out on multiple peoples business. There were many confused faces walking away after asking about opening times, so I suspect they all got the same unwelcome response I did. I won’t be going there again, service with a smile is clearly not present.

Served by some yob with the personality of a dead fish. Don't waste your time going large you just receive more rice. Taste wise overcooked rice chicken was rank to say the least explains why its not busy Disgusting food poor service

We took one bite of the steamed buns and had to spit it out, just absolutely awful. The chicken and udon noodle ramen was also very poor, the broth tasted like it was strained through a dirty sock. There was only about 5 noodles in the ramen and the rest was just made up of boiled veg. I was expecting a lot more considering how much they charged. Avoid at all costs.

Used to do great katsu chicken curry. Last night I got my usual and the chicken is now made of sponge judging by the texture and taste. The member of staff said they charged Supplier. Clearly cost cutting (and quality) So artificial. I threw it in the bin and went hungry. I'll never return

I do travel a lot and was positively surprised with selection at Chozen outlet. I had Chicken Katsu Ramen which was really good (had Ramen before in UK and in Asia). Definately will be back!

I bought ramen here - not cheap - and it was appalling. The noodles were the wrong sort (egg noodles), the 'broth' was not a broth but just instant miso paste diluted with water, the chicken was slices of breaded (yes!) katsu chicken swimming in the miso and the noodles tasted very odd. The texture of katsu chicken drenched in miso was disgusting, and the miso so salty you couldn't eat it. Outragously bad...

Had never heard of this outlet before. On a time-limited lunch stop. Had a chicken dish with rice. Would have had noodles but did not want to mess up our outfits. Also had a green tea drink. All-in-all it was lovely and not at all expensive. Will definitely try another one of these places - if there are any.

We live quite locally and really fancied Chozen Noodle for dinner so drove the 10 miles but found it wasn’t even operating - looks like they are having a refit or disappearing completely. We left hungry and disappointed this time.

Worst food on the planet! Don't know what to call it... Sugared noodles maybe? Sooo ridiculously sweet it's like eating syrup on badly cooked noodles. Didn't even get sweet and sour... Yuk, should have chozen better!

Stopped for a quick bite for lunch and gave the katzo prawn curry a try. Nice enough and the portion size was decent (500g) although for a bit extra you could go for the larger 750g portion.Pair it with the extra 50p hot sauce (why don't I carry some with me at all times?) and the meal was good. Some complain about the prices but you're at a service station and everything is more expensive anyway.

The green Thai curry was well flavoured but the noodles were a little overdone, or perhaps they had been standing too long as they were stuck together almost into a solid mass.

You would not travel here for the food but it is perfect fast food for a pit stop. Slightly bland as far as oriental food goes but it is mass catering and consistently pretty good. Katsu curry is my favourite.

Beaconsfield Services on the M40 is a great service station with lots of outlets. One of those is Chozen Noodles. Many of the outlets at the services are unusual. Chozen Noodles, while not unique, is unusual in a service station. As the name suggests, this small outlet serves Chinese and Thai food. The quality of the food, in my view, is high compared to most outlets of this kind. There is a good selection and it all tastes pretty authentic. If you want a journey break with a difference, they you can do a lot worse than Chozen Noodles.

Whilst visiting the excel in London, I decided to go to the noodle bar- chozen noodle. I love Asian food and knew it wouldn't be as good as any restaurants as it was fast food, but i didn't think it would be this bad. I ordered noodles with sweet and sour chicken, which was ok. The noodles were had a bit of an egg like flavour though. I did not finish it as the flavour got too sweet after a while and i got sick of the flavour too. For my box it was £6.99 which was an okay price, however, my brother and mum got a big serving of nachos, chicken and salad for only £4.50 and they really enjoyed it! what really earnt the restaurant 2 stars was when we saw one of the staff members take a spoon and taste one dish and then with the same spoon tasted another! I was disgusted at this and my dad discretely pointed out that he should not have done that. I will definitely not be visiting again.

Stopped off here on the way to Oxford. Wasn't expecting too much just didnt want to eat at KFC etc so picked Chozen and ordered the Red Thai Chicken. Great authentic taste, and plenty of good quality lean chicken in the dish. I eat quite a bit of Asian food and could taste the chili & lemongrass in this product. So often the taste is dialled down but not here.Good cheery bunch serving so top marks for food & service.

I am writing this at 12.42 pm on a Wednesday having just endured what I can only describe as the worst of yesterday's leftovers. In an attempt to avoid McDonalds, I chose to overlook the fact that the sweet and sour chicken looked like it had seen better days. That was my first mistake. My second mistake was to subject my digestive system to a tepid helping of what tasted primarily of malt vinegar and which had the consistency of an influenza cough. It comes to something when a McDonalds burger would have been the better option.

This is a good place if you want a quick snack to hold you over for something later. In this case I would rate a 4 but if you wanted a proper meal it would be decidedly average. I would agree that it is a better alternative to say a Nandos, and I would visit again but just for something to tide me over.

Refreshing to find an alternative to the usual KFC Mc D, or cafe fodder you get at most motorway service stations. This was my 2nd visit and both the service and the food tasted really good. I had the sesame chicken and my partner the green thai curry. Both were excellent. Also dont miss the spicy prawn crackers. Go for them over the plain ones

Sigh. It's the type of pre-prepared, rubbish, motorway 'food' (which seems to have little or no nutritional value) that I should have expected, deserved up begrudgingly, but for some reason I was expecting something a little different... a little better. Not that I had high hopes...But I should have just had a McDonalds burger. Ah well.

Driving down from the north of Scotland we stopped at the Beaconsfield Services on the M40, shattered and needing a lift for the last leg of our journey on to West Sussex. We chose teriyaki noodles. Oh dear, what can I say about it? It was fast service. That's about it. The meat was anonymous, and the sauce? Just Soy, I think. The most unappetising meal we have had in a long time.

This is my favourite Thai restaurant. The food is delicious, fresh and expertly cooked. I particularly love the fish cakes and fish and prawn dishes. You also can’t go wrong with their green curry too. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. It’s tucked down a side street so easy to miss, but you should definitely find it and go here.
