Nice early evening (6:30) family to dinner. Menu looks quite exotic but we found something for everyone and the food was really good. I recommend the Squid and the Belly Pork!

We had a fabulous meal here last night. The food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The staff were very professional, pleasant, yet not over attentive- the perfect balance. We couldn’t fault a thing! We will be back soon! 11/10 Jampee!

Great place, delicious food, delightful service. Went to Jampee Thai today with the family for a birthday celebration and cannot recommend this place highly enough. The food is the best I’ve tasted in a long time, every single dish we ordered was just ok point. The customer service was also excellent.

This is our local Thai spot and we love it - it’s relaxed, low key and the food is fresh and consistent. My husband likes the pork belly (moo grob…?)- I prefer the beef kra prow - we tend to order the same things when we come. This is not a “fancy” restaurant but it is a great local place to eat - the food is fresh and the staff are always really friendly… we recommend ! 🤩

This is such a beautiful gem of a restaurant in Beaconsfield! The food was perfect, hubby had duck rolls and pad Thai and I had fish cakes, wok fry and sticky rice. Washed down with a cold beer! Service is fantastic. Will be back!

Thai restaurants are always more expensive than Chinese. This was no exception however the food was good.

We visited Jampee Thai recently as were exploring local Thai restaurants. We are delighted we visited Jampee, where the atmosphere, food and service was absolutely awesome. We visited with our 3 children - aged between 4 and 15. Our host/waitress Editha was brilliant. Extremely friendly and accommodating - and took time to make every one of us feel included and entertained. I would recommend this restaurant for all. We will most certainly be visiting again. 10/10 from us all. :)

Food was excellent. Went for an early Lunch, place was empty but still stuck 5 of us on 2 tables with one at the end which made it a little cramped could have easily put us on three tables. Tables covered in ground in grime, crumbs under the mats and sticky. Really could do with a very good clean. Service was good but as we were the only ones in the restaurant for most of the time to be expected. Would recommend eating there again if they cleaned the tables properly.

Very poor experience. We were the only people in the restaurant, so not like they were busy, but the waitress was just not interested. On numerous occasions i had to get up and order the food at the counter myself after waiting for ages for them to turn up. Food was ok, not the Thai we were expecting based on reviews, but understandable that its been altered for the local palate. After starters we did request for the food to be made spicy and to cook the food as they would in Thailand which they didn’t. We requested chilli sauce which arrived after we were 75% done with our food. The noodles dish we ordered were way undercooked, not al dente but rock hard! The service was extremely poor didn’t provide side plates as starters arrived, forgot to provide new plates after we had to send back the noodles. After calling them for new plates only to find there’s no body actually there, so once again had to get up and call them out. We paid around £80 for 4 people with no drinks, no desserts, and one less main than we would have ordered so a pretty expensive place. None the less, not recommended and will not return.

Unfortunately this is our third time here… and food has gone down hill, small portions… for example, starter chicken wings £8,50 and only 3 wings… this has really dropped down hill sadly…probably explains the fact we was the only people here

Once again I was not disappointed. I waited a short time for tasty food and that's what I got. Family restaurant nice and pleasant as always. I recommend to everyone.

No jungle curry available. Had run out of cider. Had run out of profiteroles. Quite poor fir a Saturday night. Food was mediocre, nothing special. Will not be returning.

Came here for a family celebration but won't be visiting again. Starters were uninspiring taste-wise, except the prawn toasts. Unfortunately, there was no spice and way too much sweetness in the prawn and chicken pad thai (which I know are mild but still..) and the same in the seabass. Exception was the Thai green curry. Apart from this main, there was no depth of flavour at all. Service was friendly; however, there seemed to be only two members of staff on duty. At over £200, this was a real disappointment.

Today, 28th July 2023, we went for lunch as we have done for many many years. Although we are old and regular customers the waiter (owner) as really unfriendly. Told us that lyalty points would no longer be given. Ignored questio what to do with the points we have (nearly 1000). Served food in also very unfriendly way and could not be bothered to say thank you and good bye when we let. If this happens again we will not go to Jampee any more.

We had a great time at Jampee last night. We ordered two starters (Jampee bags and Pork Dumplings), two mains (Crab in Sweet Basil and Ped Makham) and two pints of draught Singha beer. All very tasty, well cooked and presented. I had the tempura crab before as a take away option (with wasabi mayo) and I loved it; this time, as a main dish with fresh chilli it was, of course, different and quite spicy, but excellent again. Duck (Ped Makham) was crispy outside and tender inside, really very good. A very tasty and pleasant meal on a Sat evening.

Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday evening - perhaps that should have been a clue - and although it started well the evening soon petered out. Service was good when we arrived, drinks were provided, orders taken and the food arrived quite promptly. Nothing particularly good or bad about the food, but neither of us had anything very adventurous so no surprise there. The constant flow of people coming in and out to collect takeaways was a little distracting and seemed to be the main focus of the staff. Presumably that was why no one came to ask if we'd like a dessert or tea or coffee, or anything in fact. We finished our meal and having been left alone for 10 or 15 minutes (the restaurant was virtually empty although it was only 9pm), I finally went to the counter myself (where anyone collecting a takeaway was dealt with straight away) to asked for the bill - which included a 10% service charge! There's no shortage of restaurants in Beaconsfield and on this evidence I can see why this one had so few customers. Now they've lost another two.

Saw a lunch set promotion sign at the front of the restaurant very interesting so we came into try and not gonna lie…. It’s was so good, the price is great and you literally get starter and main in there with a decent size. Love it and you be back again.

Booked a table for 7.30 on a Saturday night, and the place was pleasantly busy with more customers arriving after us. The service was friendly but professional and efficient. There weren’t any of the problems mentioned by other reviewers regarding slow service resulting from heavy takeaway orders, so I breathed a sigh of relief. We stuck with our usual choices from Thai menus: Chicken Red Curry and Beef Massaman Curry for the mains, after having the Mixed Meat Platter for starters. In fact the Mixed Meat Platter was very good, having been freshly prepared and cooked, and sufficiently generous in size for the price. The main courses were good, flavoursome dishes, and you may be able to make do with a single side order of rice if you’re having an additional side, or you have had a large starter! Overall, a very pleasant dining experience, and I’d be happy to return and be a little more adventurous with my menu choices.

Came on the recommendation of two of our party who had been before and recommended it. Very quiet midweek No problems with service. Food more of an issue. Duck pancakes for a starter highly rated but soups very (spicy) hot - one of our party could only manage 25% of his bowl. A lack of aromatic herbs didn't help matters. Mains had nice sauces but also an overload of carrot and potatoes - what was noticably missing was a decent quantity of duck/chicken/prawn in each dish. Bill for prawn crackers + starter + main + 1.5 beers was £40 per head. Not good value IMO. Unimpressed.

Really poor slow service . Booked for 8pm, drinks order taken at 820, starters arrived at 850 and mains at 940. We have 2 young kids and ended up just leaving the food when it arrived as too tired to eat . I mentioned this and was told they were busy with takeaways till 9 and the kitchen was short staffed . I suggested maybe take less bookings or telling tables they come second to take aways. If that’s the case. There were only around 12 tables but we only saw a waitress when bringing food . Table left dirty for ages . Shame as we had a nice mean the time before but won’t be returning.

We ordered a takeaway for the first time this evening. The food we had was very tasty. There was no disputing that. The major downside was the portion size and cost. We had 2 starters, 2 mains and a portion of chips, coming in at over £40. £3.50 for a handful of chips is ridiculous. The stir fry looked like half a portion, it didn’t get close to filling the takeaway tub. Over £4 to deliver 2 miles down the road after spending £40 is a bit of an insult as well. Wouldn’t order again for a takeaway, would possibly go to the restaurant based on taste alone.

The Thai equivalent of a dodgy Indian curry house in Sunderland from the 70s, even sharing the same kind of look and signage. I should have known better. Starters straight from the frozen section of the Chinese supermarket. Mains selection was limited and lacked any depth of flavour. Just bog standard Thai food for those who dont know better because they've had a few pints. Somewhere like the Giggling Squid runs rings around this place. Very disappointing. 26 Jan 2022: I had the chicken Panang curry for lunch and requested for milder 🌶. The taste was spot on and had a generous portion of vegetables and protein. It’s a big serving – for me, at least – so leftovers make for a quick dinner fix. Service was attentive.

Had to wait before they could set up the table... But food was good, can't complain. It would be good if they had the jungle curry vegan option too

Best local Thai Restaurant for me, with a Thai wife I have done my fair share of going around to all of them within a 30 mile radius and Jampee is as good as it gets, fairly priced, genuine Thai cooking and friendly staff. whats not to like! 5 stars all day long.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Buckinghamshire!!! The ambience is great and food is very tasty. Special set meals are worth for money as it contain small portions of starters along with main meals . The cocktails tasted amazing as well. I am chef and i was blown away by the food taste. I had Orchad menu, and it was just perfect. There is few little thing to look at, but for this kind of money, it is minor problems. My sons fish seemd to be ovecooked, bit oily and probably defrosted wrong way. His chips where level prefection. And omg, sweet chilli sauce was a miracle. My menu came on plastic tray and rice and chicken sate and springroll where served stright on it. It wasn't the best experience. But tthe cooking skills, taste, nice service and great price make it nobrainer anyway

We had 2 of the set lunches. The food was excellent, some of the best Thai food that I have eaten in the UK. The service was also excellant, the two people who served us were attentive, but not too much so. Would highly recomend.

Both starters and main course were very tasty and nicely served, but unfortunately the waiting time for each course was excessive. It appeared that takeaways were part of the problem. But for the delays this would have been a five-star review.

Ordered a takeaway of 7 dishes at a cost of £76 it was 45/50 minutes late when i telephoned after waiting the advised 40 minutes was told the food was ready and the driver should be there soon when eventually it arrived it was left...

Superb starters ( the duck rolls are a must have) and impressive mains. Made a nice change from Chinese. You do have to check your order on collection though as one of our items was missed and I see this has happened to others.

Recommend their red and green Thai curries. Take away is in high demand so order early. They also do a delivery service but I collected.

Food was good but we had to queue for almost 45 minutes despite the timing for collection provided with the booking. Green Thai curry was too watery but not tasteless. Pork dumplings were nice and tasty, Pad Thai with shrimp were good, check clean wings were average although a bit expensive for three wings. The prices seems a bit high in respect of the food quality. May give it another go sometimes in the future, as I am left with mixed feelings.

I have just tried to order a delivery from here as stated on their website and was told all our drivers are on holiday. Really like to know where they’ve gone in the middle of a no travel embargo waste of time

We love Jampee Thai so much! We haven't eaten in, but had take-away many times during lockdown. The Chilli Squid is delicious. The Massaman Curry - the best I've had! Best Thai in Beaconsfield. Can't wait to finally eat in at some point! :)

Booked a table for 8:15. Arrived at the restaurant and was ignored for 10mins. Then managed to get a waitress attention and ask for our table where she looked confused and walked away and didn’t return. We left after being ignored for 15mins.

We visited restaurant for dinner, We hadn't booked a table but staff found a table for us fast.The waiter was happy to explain the menu and recommend meals to us, also after they took the order came several times to ask, if we wanted something else.We finished our starters and were waiting forty minutes for the mains. It was very long wait.The food was very tasty to be honest but we waited so long for our mains. It was busy though, but kitchen could serve our food sooner.I can say it's a good restaurant for sure, but maybe wasn't a good day for the kitchen.
