Chow Asian Kitchen in North Warwickshire

We stopped at the services and came across this noodle bar around mid afternoon on a Sunday. I had Katsu chicken curry and noodles and hubby had teriyaki chicken and noodles. Both meals were delicious, lovely and hot and tasted really fresh and flavoursome. Would definitely have them again. The lady serving was friendly and polite too ☺️.

It's good to find a pace which isn't the usual burgers / fried chicken / stodgy sandwich fayre. This place does proper food with good portions at the price you would pay for a sub / crisps / fizzy combo. Katsu curry and rice is fantastic. Proper healthy meal for about £8-9. Can't beat it.

I honestly don’t know why the bad reviews. The Chicken Katsu Curry I had for lunch was as good as any Katsu I have had in the UK and the portion size was beyond generous. Price was about what I would have expected, so I am really happy with the food, price and service.

Arriving late in the day, the buffet fare looked like it had been standing around all day, and there were no vegetarian offerings left. Still, surely I couldn’t go wrong with the more prefaced stuff? Oh yes I could. The veg dumpling soup tasted like someone had poured Bovril in it: about as Asian as a plate of chips. The vegan sushi was a right hotchpotch: only the seaweed was above barely edible. It’s not difficult to get this kind of fare right - a place in Kingsgate, Huddersfield is lovely - so there is no excuse, even at a motorway services, for such dreadful (and not exactly inexpensive) fare.

Nothing special but good enough! We ate sweet and sour chicken and Thai vegetable curry. Fairly priced for a service station. Limited menu of a variety of chicken with sauces. Served by a little Ray of Sunshine......not!

one of worst Asian fast food I have ever eaten: duck spring roll had basically not taste and also the rice with chicken was pretty bad

I had the green Thai curry which was very tasty. But it was about 85% rice with a small serving of the curry, so I had to leave a lot of the dry rice in the bottom. Obviously concentrating on profit margins rather than repeat custom. Not worth £6.95 for a bowl of rice which is a shame.

I don't usually review motorway services but... I've been visiting a few places to eat this week, the usual chains etc. But i was supprised to find this was the best value and quality of the lot. Also the staff "Deb" were really friendly. 5 food hygiene as well. Also their cutlery is compostable so Ethical as well. Well done!
