Brilliant place if your looking for some delicious treats to take home. The family loved the chocolates and the Turkish delight.

This is the place for the BEST HOT CHOCOLATE in town. Great to drop in to get the weight off your feet for a beautiful interlude to your shopping. Friendly service and tempting scrumptiousness fills your idle gaze as you await your bill. Very addictive.

Popped into the new chocolate Faye , a lot more room in the new shop with the same great choice as the old shop. Plus you can get coffee or tea in the new one.

The hot chocolate was exactly as you would wish for it to be from a chocolatier, TO DIE FOR ! Along with friendly service and a nice atmosphere. We will certainly visit again. I just wish there was a few cakes to choose from too.

We really enjoy our trips to chocolate fayre. Very friendly staff, very tasty hot chocolate and fresh loose teas! Lovely sitting inside but really enjoyed sitting in the new garden. We found a quiet corner and enjoyed the views being surrounded by the castle walls and peace and quiet. This is a lovely spot for couples but also if you are looking for a quiet place to sit on your own. Highly recommended!!

Visited here whilst on holiday last week. Bought 3 bags of fudge, the flavours were amazing especially the orange and chocolate fudge and the salted caramel was amazing. The chocolates look delicious and very well made.

Saturday 25 August 18, I visited this lovely quaint shop that specialises in hand-made chocolates. I was looking for a gift for my mother, and they have the most wonderful range of dark chocolates I have ever seen and my mom is a dark chocolate fan. I purchased a selection of dark chocolates and these were gift wrapped. I also purchased a bag of gift wrapped fruit jellies for my husband, as these are his favourites. I wish there were more places like this around as they are real gems for the chocoholic connoisseur.

If you're a chocoholic then you HAVE to go. Amazing ice cream on a sunny day! We got easter eggs and they were so tasty - its so important to support local business like this.

A chocolate heaven , extensive selection of chocs to suit all tastes in fairy free. As a local am a regular visitor. The owner and staff are very helpful . Also a great ice cream 🍦 bar.

Such a lovely, little chocolate shop with very friendly staff! High-end chocolate and they also do a very tasty selection of ice creams! We will have to work our way through them all!

If you want a treat , visit the chocolate shop in Barnard Castle ! Great for gifts , and the best chocolate marzipan I have ever tasted .

I've found my experiences in the Chocolate Fayre to be nothing but positive - The hand made chocolates are very nice, in both look and taste. The customer service was practically perfect, with the servers being both friendly and easy to talk. If you're ever in Barnard Castle, then this should be on your list of places to go.

Chocolate Fayre is not a restaurant. It is a chocolate shop we stop at whenever driving through Barnard Castle. We have never had better chocolate. Whether your preference is milk or dark, the chocolate is superb. There is artistry, exceptional taste and a wide variety.
