We find the food is not as hot as other takeaway deliveries we get, not sure why. The food is tasty though & we like it

Great food. Place itself not the cleanest and stuff quite friendly but not much interested in customers.

Food was great as always and service was fantastic! We were served by Ella who went above and beyond for us and made this a fantastic experience. She was so friendly and would chat to us throughout and made it a very memorable visit! We don't live in Leicester, we're from Northampton, but would 100% travel back to this branch just for Ella's service. Without she deserves a raise!

Overpriced ,overcooked food, very slow , customer service was awful Child size portions, overpriced drinks too , added tips on without ssying, was ill next day.

Me and my family went out for a meal here. We had a mixed bunch of food me having a garlic butter tortilla and beef burrito, my wife having the fajitas and my daughters having items of the children menu. Service was okay they were all happy and very accommodating to our needs but some staff just seemed like they were running on 2 hours sleep lacking passion and the people skills, the facilities were nice and clean, the decor was rustic and appropriate to the venue without being to "in your face". Unfortunately for the cost for our food some items were just not up to par. Some items being overly greasy or oddly sweet leaning to a mass processed or tinned kind of taste. I would come again but I would have to look over the menu a bit more carefully to choose what too order.

The place was cold and uncomfortable to eat , had to keep our jackets on

Grace’s professionalism, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm for her job truly set her apart. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and her recommendations were spot on. Fabulosa experiencia, conocí a mi primo allí para una cena temprana. Estoy a dieta y solo quería algo ligero. Así que pedí la ensalada de fajita de pollo servida en una concha de tortilla. La camarera Gracie era increíble y dijo que podían hacerlo con la salsa de piña al lado. Estaba delicioso y Gracie era fabuloso, servicio de primera clase de ella. Gran relación calidad-precio también, sin duda volveré xx

Our server Grace was fantastic, chatty and quick to cater to us. She even remembered us from our last visit months ago and information I would not have expected her to retain like how many children we have! Incredible! We didn't book a table and of course were happy to wait for one to become available. We were told by Andrea that it would be 15 mins. After 40, we asked if there was a table available yet, being that there were more than enough empty. She spoke to my husband like she hadn't spoken to him before when it was in fact herself that told us to sit in the bar.

Grace and the manager offered completely exceptional service for us tonight. The professionalism exceeded many other restaurants locally and every request and adaption to the food was accommodated. Thank you.

Came into the restaurant this afternoon to have a quiet meal with my partner on her birthday. We were greeted warmly and were shown to a that table need the legs sorting not a major issue were offers a replacement table to fix it. My partner and I thought great customer service a clear objective in here. We were wrong we made our order and when the food arrived we dug in to a paella for 2 after eating 1/4 we noticed that one of the prawns had its excrement sack still intact as we had eaten quite a few already we were put off eating the remained of our meal. We politely notified the server who went and spoke to the chef. When she returned we were notified that it was the suppliers fault? Working in hospitality myself I know that’s a subpar excuse. Then you’re going to telling me not one member of your kitchen team checked or washed the prawns before decanting or cooking them but the restaurant has high hygiene standards and practices. EHO should have a good look into this place. To some it all up no discount offer for the individual item and no replacement dishes offered. Had to pay full price (£29.95)for a dish we’ve barely eaten and had a intact excrement sack in. Not what I expect from a chain, I’d think you’d have procedures in place for avoid these kinds of issues let alone a complaint.

We had a nachos starter which was nice, although they have changed the recipe and it’s not as cheesy anymore but still very good. We had fajitas for our mains which was lovely as always but they really need to give more of the sauces, you have to pay extra if you want more but the portion really means you have to ration it across the 3 wraps. Service was brilliant. We were served by Grace, she was lovely and friendly. She was easy going, attentive, didn’t rush us and made our meal more relaxing.

I made a group booking for a work meal with co workers and Grace gave amazing service throughout and was kind, attentive & had a good laugh with all of us! the food was amazing and the service was top tier. we've been to this restaurant twice now and both times had 5* service throughout - would recommend

Esta fue una comida familiar, 4 adultos con un niño de 6 años y un niño de 3 años. El servicio era lento. Teniendo en cuenta que había 2 niños pequeños que se impacientan fue un poco desconsiderado. Llegamos a la 1. 45 pm a un restaurante no demasiado ocupado. Eran las 3 pm cuando logré atraer a un miembro del personal para preguntar cuánto tiempo más duraría nuestra comida. Luego llegó poco después, como si hubiera estado esperando en la cocina para ser servido.

Service is way too slow, especially with the fact that the fact that the restaurant was preety empty. At one point i had to get up myself and grab a menu for the desert because the waitress seemed to have forgotten to bring it. To top it up, there was a mistake on the bill. Really frustrating. The food was very average. Burrito was very dry. 60 quid for 2 people for very average food with no drinks is shambolic.

Nice place, but a bit put off by loads of DeliverRo and Just Eat riders hanging around the reception area. They need a collection area for these folks.

food was nice but xmas nachos lacked flavour! server Harvey was really lovely and constantly checking on us and made good conversation. we was a table of 14 and all got the correct food and on time too. could tell they were busy and understaffed but overall happy with the experience there!

Good food but the service was absolutely shocking, front of house staff were laying down while people were waiting at the door and waiting to be served. Had to walk over to them and ask for our bill we had waited half an hour for, just to be told another member of staff will bring a card machine and he went back to laying down.

Really lovely experience being here. I have intolerances that are not standard ones and all of the staff looked after me really well. The service did get slower as the evening went on, but Ciaran was just fabulous. Thank you.

Absolutely shocking service and useless management! **waitress not at fault** Waited over an hour to be told that our food was not even ordered and it was only being made now and will take another 20 minutes! Management didn’t even come to speak to us.

Portions for starter was small £8 for one soft taco is a little insane. Main was nice but we were served on a rusty pan that was flaking off into our food?!! (Check pics)

Chiquito has been a firm favourite of ours for many years but our local in ones closed down so it was great to find this one in Leicester was still open The menu is good, the food well prepared and presented and very tasty. Will be back next time we are in the area .

Great atmosphere, so glad we booked (but why wouldn't you on a Saturday night?!). Relatively quick service, though drinks took a while. Food was good, but I did think my main lacked a bit of flavour tbh. However, it's still my fave cuisine and I will be back!

The place was empty at 2pm on a Saturday and therefore lacked ambience and made you wonder what was wrong with it 😬 Food was good though, table bit sticky and we got short measures on glasses of Prosecco but they gave us 1 free glass to share as compensation which was a bit weird but better than nothing.

Food was brilliant but service was a little bit slow for saying how quiet the restaurant was.

Really lovely food here. First time and we all enjoyed our food. I've knocked one star off for service as food did take a long time to come but she did apologise as they were short staff in chef department.

Really slow table service. Left waiting for initial contact (and drinks) left waiting for the order to be taken. Left waiting for the table to be cleared and desert order so we didn't bother.. left waiting for the bill. Arrived at 6 left at 8.30 with an under 2 year old to keep happy. Very poorly managed branch. The food was ok. Overall, it was a poor experience.

La mayoría de nosotros disfrutamos de la comida, sin embargo el servicio era muy pobre, estábamos esperando demasiado tiempo para las cosas y no era un día particularmente ocupado.

La comida era mediocre, el servicio muy malo a pesar de la cantidad razonablemente pequeña de clientes. Esperamos 20 minutos para que alguien tomara nuestro pedido de bebidas, luego otros 20 para comida, media hora para nuestras bebidas, una hora para comida y 30 para que alguien diera la cuenta, pero aún así tuvimos que esperar demasiado tiempo para que la máquina pagara. Estoy completamente decepcionado con cómo resultó el lugar.

On entry we stood waiting at doorway for too long before someone came to seat us. Our table was near entrance so everytime anyone entered or exited we felt the cold. Took a long time fo waitress to take drinks order and a long time for drinks and food to arrive. I only saw 2 waitresses and it was quite busy for a Monday night. Uncleared tables surrounded us. The food took a long time to come out. It was cooked well but just tasted bland. There was only ketchup on the tables so I asked for sauce to make it tastier. A tiny pot of hot sauce was brought to table. It was just very hot then. I felt the waitresses were friemdly and hard working but the restaurant lacked atmosphere. Nobody had sombrerros offered. They were in a pile unused. I could barely hear music. Mexican music wpuld have been atmospheric. The place had lost its charm. Food cooked properly but the chef must just do what the company says. I can make better mexican with an old el paso kit. Wont rush back. Shame as was looking forward to it. Like everywhere these days, short staffed! & Cuts in quality!

After sitting down we were greeted by Grace who was extremely attentive and polite, she gave us the perfect amount of time to order our drinks and food. I’ve visited a number of restaurants throughout my time and been served by hundreds, without a shadow of doubt Grace provided the greatest level of service I have ever seen. She was wonderful and I strongly believe the business will only continue to benefit with her working here! If I could give more than 5* I would. I hope Grace will benefit as well from this review with a lovely bottle of Sauvignon as she thoroughly deserves it! Thank you once again, Grace.

Awful food. Didn’t get asked if the meal was alright throughout. Drinks were sat at the bar for 20 minutes before bringing them over. Fajitas were burnt, burrito was soggy. Blandest food I’ve ever eaten. Didn’t know you could get fajitas wrong!

Still, the best nachos in the world! Lunch menu is a great deal too!

Dropped in for an early tea at 5pm on a Monday. Service was great - order taken very effectively and made to feel very welcome. Drinks and starter arrived quickly and were excellent. Main course took a little longer but worth the wait. Good food, nice service, reasonable price, excellent portion size - what's not to like.

The food is really good especially kids menu. Service is great and very friendly staff.

Visited after about a year as we got a 40% off food voucher. Our server was very efficient and helpful, however it took forever for our food to come out. All we had was nachos to start which took 20 mins to come out and then another 20 mins for a fajita and steak. The food was really rubbish. Nachos hardly had any cheese, fajita was tiny bit of chicken on a huge pile of onion and the steak was absolutely tiny. Bill came without 40% off but was rectified quickly. We won’t be returning and it’s clear to see what they are doing 40% off food as it’s just not worth the money.

The restaurant doors open. Therefore, we believed the restaurant was open. When we entered, we were rudely informed that the restaurant was not open. The food is good value for money, we had gone for lunchtime. We were offered the lunch time deal, and on the menu, they had churros. When we were informed that they did not have this in stock and that we were not able to substitute the item.

Nice place, staff friendly. Service was a little slow when ordering drinks. Food was nice.
