Would not go there for food again:/

Bees knees always has a great atmosphere and friendly vibe to the place. The food is delicious and staff is always very helpful. Especially the manager Tommy who is able to answer any query regarding the menu or just for a nice chat. Highly recommend

Went for breakfast every thing was great apart from the sasauges, must be the whole group that uses these tasteless hard sasauge as I've had them at the Oadby Owl and they were the same. Very good prices too.

Great time had. So much better than that rubbish beefeater. Staff here are far more professional.

Very clean food, not as hot as it could be

Great place for children to play on a rainy afternoon. Varied drinks and food menu. Staff super helpful for newcomers.

Took a good 10 minutes to bring my order out alongside the other 7 people at my table. I had the smallest order. Also brought wrong food out.

Came here as we were staying in Leicester overnight and needed a Wacky Warehouse so that the kids could burn some energy after being in the car for 3 hours. Kids had a great time in the Wacky Warehouse and special mention to Megan who was great with the children. Megan also knew that we were short of time to eat in WW so reserved us a table in the pub. We’ve been to Hungry Horse pubs before and kind of knew what to expect food wise. However, our expectations here were exceeded! My wife had the Gravy Burger and said it was really good. I had the half roast chicken which was cooked to perfection. Very happy with everything and if we are back in Leicester in the future, we’ll certainly consider coming back here.

We had a lovely experience of breakfast this morning at Bees Knees Meridian The lady that served us was Kayla, she was so so kind and it was no trouble to change things on my children's breakfast and order chips at breakfast time. It was a chilled atmosphere and the staff were so helpful, friendly and polite.

We came out for an evening family meal and all the food was beautiful. Both our children enjoyed their fish finger meals and chicken nugget meals. The feed the family for £15 was also such a great deal. Our server Charlotte was lovely and made sure that everything was amazing with the meals. Lovely pub and lovely staff. Couldn’t recommend more!

Just had a mixed grill,sausages didn't taste very nice,neither did chicken, when i asked for a fork felt like i had my head snapped off and told to get it myself,not a enjoyable meal out

Hannah in the Wacky Warehouse area was great with us and our two children. She kept the place so tidy and was so helpful in serving us!

Average food, average prices. Even though the place was very full and clientele were having to shout at each other there was still loud music playing everywhere.

Really nice place to eat, me and my daughters went here for breakfast was buy 1 get 1 free really good value for money would highly recommend. Really friendly and polite staff.

Was a bit doubtful about going here as I've heard some people say that it's gone downhill, but it really hasn't. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and the price was good. Very family orientated.

Came with the family on Monday, food was lovely, staff were very friendly and Megan in the wacky was brilliant with children and made sure to speak to the adults as well as the children! Will definitely be coming back here!

Okay so we came to the bees knees for lunch but also to watch football , on arrival we were informed that online bookings were needed to have a table for more than 2 hours , human interaction has gone 😩 but after speaking with Kayla who I have to say was absolutely amazing me and my family were allocated a booth to watch the football and had an food that was top quality thank you to Kayla and the management team who were so accommodating today .PS the vegan ice cream was beautiful thank you 🙏🏻

Excellent food. The grandkids also loved it. We will most definitely be back. The prices are also very reasonable and friendly waiters.

We had a great time in the play area, we were helped by Megan who was fantastic, she was very helpful even though she was busy! We always like coming here but Megan made it really relaxed and even better

I have been coming in the Bees for many years and I cannot fault the place! The beer is the best around. Rachel is the manager it’s ever seen!

Very helpful booked party on wacky whearhouse with fern and was brilliant gave us all offers on food so me n 3 children ate for £15 great value.

I visit here often with my two boys and recently with the addition of my newborn and go to wacky warehouse. We always have the best time, especially my boys, it’s clean, well maintained and it’s safe. By far the best thing is the service and in particular the girls who work there. They are so lovely, polite, friendly, helpful and warm. They make the time to get to know you a little and make you feel welcome which is so nice when you go often and mainly alone with your children which can be daunting and lonely. Can’t recommend the place enough.

I visit on a regular basis. Its a nice affordable place and nice food.

We had drinks and a sharing platter here a couple of weeks ago after the cinema. Was visiting daughter at the uni. Would have been nice to sit and chat but evening was ruined by about 6 kids between ages of about 4 and 9 just continually running around and jumping all over the chairs for a good hour or 2. This was well beyond 9pm and no sign of the parents-they were drinking in another part of the restaurant. Im not against children in restaurants but this was dangerous and very disruptive. We didnt stay for any more food or drinks as had to leave!

We decided to come here Friday evening for an easy dinner after seeing family in the area. It’s what you’d expect from a hungry horse, fast service and decent food (you get what you pay for). Our food was served to us by Will who was friendly and efficient. No complaints

Probably the worst Hungry Horse I’ve ever been too. Poor food, loads of drunken people , just rubbish. I’d avoid this place like the plague to be honest.

Cosy place to sit with friends. Hidden behind a book case this place has a brilliant cocktail menu (worth the price tag). We saw the trains passing on train street too.

We had a nice meal here with our young children. The staff were very friendly and made us all feel welcome. The food came out quickly and hot. It was delicious! Plates were cleared quickly in time for dessert which was just the cherry on top!

Went into here last night (mother's day) only had a couple of drinks in there. Asst Manager JAKE needs an exceptional comment. He was smart,friendly, chatty and very welcoming. it was a pleasure to go there and would certainly be back.

Very nice place half way through my food I did find a hair but the best bit is they replaced the hole meal very happy over all thanks again for replacing the food. the food is well worth the price in fact I would of paid more for the mix grill and every else with me love the food to

Took my parents out for Mother’s Day. My dad’s £13.99 steak was too tough to eat. We sent it back to be cooked a little longer but was the same when it came back. Couldn’t even take it home for their dog as they were concerned even dogs teeth would struggle. My mum enjoyed her veggie pie but the top was too tough to eat like it had been over microwaved. My veggie roast was nice. I told the guy who took our plates about the steak and he said he’d mention it to the chef so I expected someone to come to our table to chat but they didn’t…

I visited the Bee Knees for a Sunday meal. I ordered the burger sizzling combo, which consisted of a double beef burger with cheese and fries and wings with a steak on the side. Not to forget the fried peppers to be served with the chicken wings and steak. It was a great meal and a great price, too, for how much you get with it. I would highly recommend it if you're feeling quite peckish.

Enjoyed their mini mixing grill for £8.50 the food was good and plentiful.

Came in Sunday morning for breakfast. With the kids, before playing in the wacky. Breakfast was lovely, the lady with the coloured hair was great with the kids, would definitely recommend

Waited over 15 min for my drink to be delivered, food was mediocre, no cutlery was brought out by the staff and food was just thrown down and wasn't given a chance to see if i wanted any condiments. Staff looked miserable not a smile amongst them .

Daughter loves coming here, she always has loads of fun.. staff are always friendly and helpful. We had fern today, lovely woman and happy to help. Recommend bringing your child here whilst you have a bite to eat

wacky warehouse is a weekly outing with the little ones and we always enjoy the service we receive, all the girls are brilliant especially Megan who my daughter is very fond of and loves a giggle with her. coffee is great as well as the food and the fun we have. would recommend especially tots time

Fern is always helpful and very professional and has a lovely attitude towards people. She is always welcoming when we come in for soft play and is always friendly with both adults and children. Always a lovely day out with the kids.

I attended the Bees Knees for the past few Sundays. Their Sunday roast is exceptional. Very filling and excellent quality. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. They were most accommodating when we asked if we could watch the Six Nations Rugby on the TV. Will definitely be returning.

I'm sorry to say,I'm only giving Bees Knees 4 stars for there food because they had ran out of the burger I wanted and someone else in my party wanted a burger too,so we couldn't get the great deal they offered on burgers that night,apart from that, it was first class,would highly recommend it keep it up Bee's Knee's .......

A lovely place to go for food or a drink cheap and cheerful, a lovely waitress called Lilley made sure we was seated quickly and well looked after very helpful with any questions we had for her.

We have a play pass for here and we come weekly. We love it, atmosphere is great and the food is lovely. Fern is always helpful and friendly and makes us feel welcome.

A splendid pub. I recommend the San Miguel.

My little boy loves coming to the soft play area. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Staff are always accommodating and we all have a great time.

Food was disgusting, had a mix grill with a medium rare steak, the steak was cooked blue, pretty much still mooing it was that raw. Sausages were literally rock hard,would have been arrested for carrying round a deadly weapon if I left with them. Service was appalling, waiting at the seating area for 30 minutes before we had to seat ourselfs. No complaints about the gammon, rest of the meal was abysmal though!

Staff were sitting around on their phones, had to wait 10 mins to be served even though there was no one at the bar. When the food arrived it was over cooked & looked like it had been thrown on the plate.

The bees knees in Thorpe Astley Leicester is a lovely well turned out spacious pub with good prices..deals etc.had a meal there along with a drink or two could not fault anything..staff were on hand and friendly..food came to the table fast and most of all hot..the ambience was lovely we sat in a booth with nice romantic lighting. My partner and I fully enjoyed the whole experience..shall be visiting again with family shortly ...

Terrible experience. The staff servings had poor customer service, they were more interested in joking with each other than serving. The meal came out cold and undercooked, after returning it i didn't get cutlery needed (stake knife) the food was terrible. No one came to see if the food was ok (call back) I had to visit the bar twice to get service. The table was dirty and I had to ask for it to be cleaned, there was food on the floor and walls. This is a poorly managed bar / restaurant. It's felt more like numbers In and out (turnaround) was more important than customer experience.. after visiting the brewery other pubs with no complaints this is a pub I'd never visit again or recommend.

Great place for a good wholesome food the service was very good the food was very well presented and well cooked menu had lots of choice the price was very reasonable took the blue light card which if your in the n.h.s makes it a great deal cheaper thank you bees knees loved the meal great service

The meat tasted fake and watery, there was no flavour at all. The table had someone else’s fingernail on there, the place itself it’s very dirty and run down. The guy behind the bar was coughing without his hand all over our drinks. Never again!!

Yummy food at reasonable prices. Super polite service and pretty quick too. Amenities and access for disabled people and families with pushchairs.

Just popped in for a quick bite to eat and noticed they had a £5 deal on. I chose the fish and chips with mushy peas and it was lovely. Just the right size portion and very well cooked. The lad who brought it to me looked like a manager and he asked if I was in for the football. I said not tonight and he said that they show all big games just check the website. I have been here before and it is genuinely a nice place to go

On this occasion, I visited wacky warehouse with a 2 year old and family. It's probably not the best visit. The staff in there were very stressed and couldn't deal with any situation and quite rude. I do understand they were busy. However, better communication would help On a positive we ate in the pub afterwards and everything was great.
