Went for daughters birthday had seen some good reviews but was very disappointed we went for the Sunday lunch but unfortunately they don't seem to do them anymore .Found the portion size very poor for a grown man Yorkshire puddings to large and overcooked to much oil and garlic on vegetables food wasn't warm wouldn't recommend and won't be returning.

This was the second time we’ve had food from here, the first time wasn’t great but this time was really good! The cod was like a whale (my sons words!), we got kids meals, sausage and chips also a burger. Peas, curry and gravy! All really tasty, all arrived hot and on time. Good they do delivery too. My only, only tiny gripe was….the prices had gone up from what is on the website, only by a bit but maybe needs updating. Other than that the food was really good, worth a visit.

A new local chippy ..been a few times great food curry sauce is lovely Loads of chips in a portion I don't eat fish but I've been told by neighbours it's excellent . Does burgers also A must visit Parking free on the three car parks in padiham just a couple minutes away

Fish and chips.. crispy and just how we like them😋 Delivery is essential for us and quick and prompt. Will definitely ordering again. All the staff polite and friendly. Great potion size. Kept warm in the box. Lovely

Lovely cafe with prompt service and friendly staff. Good menu, reasonable prices. Lovely display of artwork makes the place interesting and creative. What spoilt the meal for me was that my baked potato was almost cold. Such a pity as it was well presented with nice accompaniments.

Ormerod StreetFriendly local cafe with freshly cooked food. I had a large cooked breakfast with a pot of tea. Nicely done fried eggs, 2 sausages, black pudding, baked beans, three rashers of bacon with a good portion of mushroom. The icing on the cake was a portion of fried bread plus toast. I wish more places offered fried bread! Staff were very friendly and you can tell this is a liked local British “caff” as other patrons were welcomed whilst I was eating. Plastic tablecloths were clean and tidy, and my tea pot was topped up with hot water. Don’t expect the ritz, but do expect to be full when you leave. Worth a visit.

29-31 Bridge StDuring the thirty years I visited, I never had a bad meal. The staff, Kieron and Linda were fantastic. I am so sad I shall not be able to visit there again.

1 Smith StHaving booked a table in another pub in the village and found it wanting, we headed over to this one. It appeared that this was where the locals go, as it was busy compared to the other. Great range of beers and ales, unlike the other place that had one. Loved the pie and peas and came away with a very cheap bar tab... Thank you.
