China Express in Spelthorne

The curry sauce on the curry dishes looked anemic almost like a cup of soup. And was tasteless. The pathetic amount of sweet and sour sauce we was given was outrageous not even enough for two chicken balls.

food was dreadful one mouthful and I chucked the lot .chicken balls were disgusting. rice looked like it was days old the sweet n sour sauce was like water and no colour .no texture or flavour to any of it .I just waisted £60 I just hope

Rice was a mass of stodgy mess and the chicken balls so greasy couldn’t eat either. Chow me in was ok

The rice and noodles were ok but the chips were over cooked and the curry sauce was very watery. Usually the food is really nice but this time it wasn’t enjoyable and would think twice before ordering again

The food that was delivered was so salty Both my daughter and I suffer from high blood pressure/heart issues and this food made us both ill , Be warned if you have similar issues. I will not be using this restaurant again and at £58.00 this is Disgusting , there should be a health warning on them !

Just had a delivery it was awful no flavour in the curry and paid a lot of our anniversary and it was ruined waste of money poor portion will not be ordering again .. people do not use

absolutely terrible food.. never had such bland chicken sweetcorn soup, a curry that was gloupy, watery and tastless too. the chicken foo yung had plasticky aftertaste. Our so called "chicken spring roll" was actually 6 mini ones that seemed to be super market stick in the oven jobs with no flavour. Prawn toast was chewy at edges, even chips for my boy who only eats chips even rejected them after eating 5 or 6 and that's unusual. sorry to say 80% of went in bin, angry at money spent.

Hot and Tasty Food. My favourite takeaway.

one of the worst Chinese takeaways I've had in a while. Over cooked chicken balls, overcooked stodgy egg fried rice, barely any beef in the crispy chilli beef. Waste of money and a disappointment, won't order from here again.

The most awful meal I’ve ever had, it all just tasted like it had been cooked a few nights ago and re warmed. It was mostly thrown in the bin and what I did force myself to eat I regret as I know feel very poorly. Very let down by this

A very terrible experience with the restaurant unfortunately. £52 of food ordered and it was definitely not worth it!! Chicken balls were hard! Beef chow main was far to salty! Salt & pepper chicken was a majority of just hard battered and fried shells no chicken inside. Chips very small portion, sweet & sour sauce verrryyy watery. Duck was good although lots of hard sharp burnt bits and Cantonese beef was nice but overall no real flavour and no passion put into presentation.

Poor quality food. Soggy vegetable spring rolls, and inedible tasteless chicken chow mien. Won’t be ordering again. Sorry!

This is my go-to Chinese takeaway when I am down here on business. The food is spot on.

Food was all very bland and portions small. All lukewarm with chewy texture and mushy appearance- Didn’t even have prawn crackers!!

A little disappointed with my order this time. I order from here quite a lot and the food has always been exceptional. This time due to the order being delivered late, which I accept can’t be helped, the chips were cold and the rest of the food was not as hot as it should be. The Singapore Noodles were not of the same standard as usual and the curry sauce was a not as thick as normal and was rather runny

Food was very watery and not great 😕 it only had 6 prawns in the prawn dish.

Quite simply, the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had. Mushroom Chop Suey was tiny and tasted like a very cheap ready meal. Prawn balls were awful. Never again

Beef and tomato was grey meat in a grey gloop. Chicken chow mein was breaded chicken on top of noodles. Half a duck was more like quarter of a duck. Beef chow mein had barely any beef. Prawn dishes were good.

Food has 0 taste, wouldn’t order again

The food was extremely bad, couldn’t eat it. The prawn crackers were stale- like they had been left out for days. The chicken tasted the same and every item had a fishy taste. Really poor from this restaurant

Chicken in lemon and sweet n sour hong kong style were mainly just batter was not much chicken in all four dishes all containers were under filled very disappointing as normally decent food !

This is the first time I have used this take, delivery time was off the chart a good 20 minutes early, wow. The food was ok, it was hot, most of it was tasty, however, not the beef fried rice. I was bland and tasteless the beef did not taste of anything and the rice was not seasoned. The rest was fine so that's why the score of four.

Ordered from here last night, food arrived quickly, snd it was lovely and hot. but we were disappointed after spending so much. We decided to have the house curry, house rice and prawn balls had food was very bland and it tasted powdery. We couldn't eat it.

I don’t no if this was a bad day or what but the food was lacking in all areas the batter for the chicken balls and squid and spring rolls was soft no crisp and had a funny taste like old oil everything I ordered had no flavour even down to sweet and sour chicken chow mien didn’t even have bean sprouts will not be ordering from here again sorry

Disappointed with food quality. Over cooked chicken and sauces had been watered down and lacked flavours. Bearly tasted like a curry.

Had a varied selection of Food, from sweet & sour chicken to prawn toast, salt&pepper prawns and special noodles and more, it was amazing, tasted fresh and hot, good quality and arrived fast.

Sadly didn’t really enjoy the food. Chicken was quite rubbery and sweet and sour sauce was very artificial looking and tasted nasty.

First and LAST time i will be ordering Absolutely terrible no flavour everything taste the same I ask if I could get a portion of bean sprouts I received RAW dirty old bean sprouts in a old carry bag spent £66 and not even a free bag of prawn crackers I was so looking forward to this meal as it was a one off take away night very very disappointed my opinion I would recommend not ordering from here and save your money

Amazing amazing amazing. I don't even have words to describe how good this was, everything piping hot and fresh, chicken balls were so tender on the inside crispy on the outside, fried rice was superb and the sweet and sour chicken was delicious. Will now be our favourite go to for Chinese food.

Unfortunately disappointed. Ordered items marked as ‘vegetarian’ since I don’t eat meat but love occasional sweat and sour tofu. Received noodles with both shrimp and beaf.

There are many ok Chinese food restaurants but this place is GREAT!

Lovely food nice and hot and nice portions

The delivery was early and my driver was lovely. I was super excited for my meal as I have ordered before and it was absolutely wonderful, however this time, I was really disappointed. The quarter duck I had, that was good. I ate that. But the chicken curry and egg friend rice were not pleasurable. The chicken curry had a huge layer of oil on the top and the egg fried rice just tasted like bland mush, most of the curry and rice went in the bin. Like I’ve mentioned previously, the first time I ordered was beautiful which is why I felt so let down. Thank you for reading my feedback, I hope it comes across helpful and not angry:)

Sorry but food is also not good and late delivery

I went to collect and could not find the restaurant. It had a different sign with the old name. It took me over 20 minutes to realize it has the old sign from a previous restaurant. They need a new sign with the name they advertise on the internet.

Ordered king prawn chopsuey sweet and sour- weird taste. Not nice

Deep fried chilli beef was soft and had no chilli in it at all, was really bland, rest of food was bland

Overall very nice food, though some items we ordered felt a bit underseasoned or a bit too soggy (the chicken balls). Overall, very tasty and would reorder from here. Staff was also very polite when we rang to say that an item is missing. They redelivered without any fuss. No problems. 👍👍 Thanks guys for a delicious meal.

I ordered after been let down by a different service . Put order in and realised forgotten an item and rang rwstsut direct who added onto the order. Order arrived before time , steaming hot and very tasty. Great response great food
