You always get a very friendly and warm welcome from the staff here, very good menu choice, breakfast certainly sets you up for the day with excellent quick service.

This is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Fabulous food and the staff are so lovely. Bacon and mushroom cob is my favourite.

Fabulous and beautifully clean café with exceptional service and Great Value for money. I don’t usually write reviews but the two ladies who served me were lovely polite and I’ve got a huge bacon roll with some decent bacon in it and a cup of tea for £4.70.

Excellent cafe , lovely staff , extremely helpful and hospitable on a wet Tuesday & great food !! What more could you want :-) Thank you Team Chives !!

Staff are so friendly and welcoming here and they serve up a very good breakfast which is filling and great value, what is not to like about that.

Absolutely lovely full English and door stop toast 👌 left the plate clean , 👌 washed down with a mug of tea infact I had 2 cups , the place was spotless , the staff where very friendly, food arrived very quickly 😀 , we sat outside it the back garden , which was also spotless clean , well done to Donna and the 2 ladies working today , we will be back 😀 . They also do takeaway food and offer a delivery service

On arrival to chill@chives today, I was greeted by the most wonderful team of Rena and Nicola. Food was absolutely delicious for someone who works in construction and I highly recommend coming in on a Friday. Very very pleased with the service by the two females at work, always smiling and wanting to strive for perfection.

Little Lisa makes the best cakes ever! Well worth a trip there if you have a sweet tooth! Also do great tasting food, especially with the Friday Specials. Get down there now!

Great value tasty breakfast with a couple of slices of thick buttered toast and a very good pot of tea with excellent quick and efficient service from the staff, this little cafe is busy with customers calling in for takeaways, long may it continue.

Visited on 28th August with my mate. We like visiting lots of cafes in Derby and Derbyshire, weird I know but didn't even know this was here until I walked past with my dog afew weeks back. Anyhow, popped in and ordered the large breakfast and regular one. Well what can I say it was lovely, nice sausage and bacon. Mushrooms were nice and the Roberts super thick toast was superb to finish it off. Nice big of tea or coffee. Good honest cafe. Super value, nice, clean and the ladies that work there are lovely. Definitely going back! Thankyou.

Me, my wife and daughter have been in for breakfast today. We could not fault the food or service, the food arrived quickly with a great cup of tea and the best toast I have had in a long time. Thoroughly recommend this cafe.

Walked in to order 2 bacon cobs, and told they are not doing them at the minute, they are too busy??? Can't say I've ever had that before from a cafe, avoid, poor!

Great value for money breakfast which includes toast and drink served by welcoming and cheerful staff and able to sit outside is a bonus, busy with takeaway customers.
