Always love the chicken from here but it was the driest I can remember having. Sides were decent : Sweet potato fries, corn and salad. Most disappointing was the homemade apple pie, which has been a crowd pleaser but was unrecognisable and tasted more like sticky toffee pudding !!!

Although this is part of the elite Soho House chain no membership is required. A rudimental restaurant that specialises in burgers primarily. Chicken and beef burgers are tasty and made to order. Tale away available and eat in but clearly not at the moment.

I live right by this chicken shop and have been several times. We have had both ups and downs here in the past. However this last trip to chicken shop on Wednesday 29th September was very good indeed. Will recommend to friends and family now. We arrived early for dinner which is always a good idea because it can get busy. We had the option of seating inside or out. Paula is a lovely waitress and enjoys looking after the customers including children. Service was prompt too. Thank you Food was really good, I like the speciality chicken and the rest of the family all had burgers. We Ordered a bunch of sides too, the fries are just ok I guess but the others were absolutely lush! Mac n cheese, coleslaw, sweet potatoes and lettuce salad. Wow Chicken shop is still running the eat out to help out discount through September so it’s a very good deal as well. Apple pie to finish is always a treat, best pie in town. Will be going back again soon, great job team please keep it up 👍

I normally do not post here or write reviews. However I feel compelled to as I was absolutely appalled by my experience today. Our order was not put through for over 15 mins as there was as an issue with their machine, when they informed us I requested to be compensated which they assured me they will attend too. I told them I accept the apology and thanked the waitress. When the bill came they had just removed the service change. When I requested to speak to a manager he was completely and utterly rude stating that they would not remove anything as I said I was ok with the delay which is not true and stated that was standing near by which is !not true. Zero customer service I will not ever go again. On top of poor customer service I was told that I was a loser! When I told the manager I was disappointed and expected better customer service he said “well I took off the service charge”. Then I continued to say that I will be putting review up he said I was free to do what I wanted. You are better off eating at pret in St. John’s Wood. Extremely disappointed and if there was a rating less than one I would have put it through!

I stay close by when I have an overnighter in London. The chicken there is absolutely delicious! Good prices and great for a small or medium group of people! Gluten free and vegetarian options are also available to please everyone!

Tried the Chicken Shop a couple of times so far on visits to London. Their chicken is very good and juicy, the take out makes it simple to plan for dinners if you don't have time to dine in. Great to try during lunch or for dinner. Tried their roasted chicken to go as it is a great way to plan for a quick dinner at home.

This is a casual place with a friendly atmosphere. Reservations not needed. They specialise in chicken and burgers. My wife had the chicken and I had a burger. Both were to die for. Service is top notch--friendly, quick, and flawless. We'll be back.

Closes at 10, at 9:15 no chicken to eat in, only filling their takeout orders. So much for enjoying a sit down meal. Very disappointed.

Disappointed with my takeaway. My son had said how much he likes it here and it's busy at the weekends but the chicken was nothing special. The salad was 4 salad leaves and the chips tasted like frozen chips from the supermarket. Expensive for what it is.
