Best pfc shop in east london. Full of flavour, the quality of the food is the best I have tried. From hot wings to donner kebab, to burger you name it, such amazing food! Dont believe the negative/false comments as they clearly are doing this on purpose as hate comments. The shop is always busy & clean, the staff are friendly and always prepare the food freshly. Pop by and see for yourself.

Great food, great service but no dine in option

The food is good. And cheap too.

the price and service is absolutely outrageous. i found 4 hairs in my food, and when i asked for a refund or new box, he took out the hairs and proceeded to eat my wings. the one star is generous.

Overall a decent chicken shop for the locals. Not one yiu will travel for. All pretty box standard PFC. They don't accept card which is frustrating in this day and age. One of the staff is looking like he doesn't want to be there and it comes through in his attitude too. No seating area, purely just takeaway. Wings are well seasoned, large and tasty. Doner is as expected. One of the better bbq wings I have. They leave it in the heater which makes it nice and sticky. Chilli sauce has their own unique twang to it. Sweet sauce follows similar recipes to other local shops. They have a garlic sauce which is different from others and peri peri salt available on the counter which is nice. If yiu ask for sauce pots, prepare for salty responses. Main gripe here is lack of POS machine. 100% Halal offering as expected.

Don’t get the wings or chicken towards closing time. They give you stale food.

Ok, but I no longer eat there chicken 🐔no more. Great customer service, the rumour has it was it was infested within the shop. Nice workers, but for me, I eat something healthier for my heart and soul, which is next door.

The food is pretty dead. Ordered a chicken burger, chips and wings. Everything was lacking salt and for some reason, the chips tasted watery on the inside.

The wings are different here than the rest which makes it amazing. Love it everytime.

I don’t know what’s happened to this shop normally their quiet nice but the last couple of times their chips are horrible it looks like they’ve cooked them in very old oil, I thought it was a one off but obviously not .

It's a shame, the place is clean and service is good, but their food is so bad. Chips and chicken smells of old oil. Never ever going their again.

Smallest portions around the area for the highest price. Large diner is a huge bump here. Mile End road is best value for money. Doner meals are best in Spice hut and KHF have the best burgers.

Food is ok if ur extremely hungry, but the huge letdown is that its cash only, really? Get with the times now as it’s pretty much contactless pay almost every where. I guess cash is untraceable to the tax man🙄

Staff always in a rush to go home. At 9pm they couldn't serve me unless I took a doner kebab someone else ordered and didn't pick up. It's a joke.

Don’t know if the chef is new… I ordered a doner roll with chips. The chef made it with tomato ketchup. The lamb inside the burger was drenched in ketchup and the burger bun was all soggy…. Absolutely disgusting!

The food is decent here. One qualm I have is that when you get a doner they put the meat on top of the chips so the chips become insanely oily and doesn't taste good. But the doner meat itself tastes very good. Also the garlic sauce (the clear bottle with white sauce inside) has no flavour at all. Personally the wings don't suit my taste buds either. They do, however, have really nice chilli sauce. Worth to go here just for that icl.

Food was soo bland, even the sauces couldn’t save it! First time ordering from here and will definitely be my last! I ordered the donner meal costing £6 on screen but they charge £1 extra costing £7 altogether for a bloody medium size meal, the box was half empty they were very stingy with the portion for that price which is outrageous! I get donner meal from spice hut for £5-6 and they are really generous they fill the box right up. The chicken meal and wings were very average nothing special save your money your better off at khf. The guy serving the food was coughing as well so not a good look. 3/10

Food is okay but they don't take card

Have always found the food to best TASTY and fresh. The doner kebab is excellent and probably on of the best chilli sauce in East London.

I went into shop to get something to eat and was told I couldn't have any burgers just chicken. I wanted kebab roll meal next thing I hear £5 😂 It look like someone order and didn't want it so he put it with the chicken to keep warm. What a joke so I can't have my kebab fresh just walked out disappointed. Now some people may give a different opinion but that was my experience

I had the worst experience ever. Asked for less spicey mixed Donor kebab instead they made it extra extra spicey and the taste was horrible. Could not even eat at all. When I rang them about it suff was clueless, unfriendly, unhelpful, did not know what to do or offer me any replacement meal instead they told me it's spicy like that even tho I clearly asked them to make it less spicey. Waste of money waste of food, Ruined my dinner.

Really bad Prices I know another Shop and Is like half of it I chose cheese burger And it cost like I don’t know but I know is around 2. And something there were 1.20 And here is like so Costy I spend like half of my money on that (never coming back)

Chicken burger wings and chips was really nice. Wings were spicy and tender. Bbq wings were also delicious. Gave 4 stars due to the price as its more expensive than their competitors

Chicken Mahal, is a great fast food shop! The service is excellent, the shop always looks immaculately clean. The staff are friendly, which is why I always come back, Sad that bossman had sadly passed away, he was a lovely man whom always had a friendly smile, a great man of the stepney community, who provided us with chicken mahal :) The food is great, it’s fast, fresh & tasty you cant go wrong with chicken mahal food. Family and friends have said the same so try it out if your in the area!

Been a customer of this place for number of years. Food quality hasn't improved much. Extortionate prices compared to other local Fried Chicken Shop.

Kids meal is £1.70 like are you for real, and its not even 3 wings and chips like all the other shops, this is the only shop in tower hamlets that does 2 wings and chips as a kids meal a disgrace even feel sorry for the workers they even know its wrong

Very cheap people comments about £1.99 chicken and chips it’s not the Ritz it’s a reputable chicken shop, go on treat your wife to the Ritz diner she’s bored of chicken and chips and arguing over a penny.

It's the nearest chips shop and only go there fulfill my emergency needs . Price is higher than other shops . Customers parking create every single day traffic at Aston street . Owner don't care at all .

They give such little amount of food but charges for big portion don't waste your money never going back again

Man sometimes I just want a quick little tingle in the stomach I come here to grab a kid's meal. Just enough chips and 2 peices of wings to go a long way. Sauces are alright and the uncles have faster service than most McDonald's outlets. Keep it up.

No flavours in wings only crispy. I felt like it was 2 days old wings. Chilli sauce is too think and blend. Just about average.

Constantly trying to trick customers with transactions and food quality. Not a nice environment to be around. Only thing that deserves a star is the cold drinks.

The food is not very nice, especially their chicken fillet burgers and chicken doners. They keep increasing their prices every 3 months or so. Their customer service is appalling and they give 0 craps about regular customers, and for that reason I would give them 0 stars if I could.

I don't even know where to start of with this place firstly I was an daily customer and I know thier prices inside out new worker tried charging me 1.80 for 3 wings and chips and the wings are really small and probably from the day before from how they look nd tasted also they handle cash during a pandemic then st8 away go nd touch the food without washing or gloves which is really disgusting furthermore it's cash only 😳 some people will know why places do that😂during the pandemic aswell big no no (tax fraud) customer service mediocer at it best slow don't know English all over the place. ur better off going to stepney green near the station where their is a row of pfc places normal prices but amazing food quality unlike chicken mahal AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

Overrated. Food was average at best.

Overpriced now, tried charging 1.70 for a kids meal when I asked like he was making up the price. Served after another male came after me eventhough the cashier acknowledged I was there. Touches money then food aswell.

Always great quality for a decent price. There chicken is very a favourite and fresh tasting and the lamb doner kebab is incredible and full of Asian Spice.

An excellent shop at the corner. Food is tasty and fresh. Chips , chicken, burger etc etc are delicious. Will definitely come again to eat.

Positives - food taste faultless - service as its the local friendly and quick - wings are one of the best around Negatives - compared to all the other locals the price is higher than average - no sitting available Overall the food and service is as you will get in a local chicken shop but just want to mention the chicken shop that was there before many years ago (PFC) was the best and they do not come close to the old ben Johnson road PFC

Chicken mahal is your standard chicken shop they are good for portion size etc I give 4 stars because they adhere to the classic chicken shop making their own chilli sauce and this stuff is great!

decent place big and open chip counter to order, food is ok but the chilli aint hot as i love my hot Naga chilly spicy mouth watering buds..overall good location easy to find service is ok price is fair.

Chicken Mahal one of my favourite crispy chicken place. Good breading perfectly cooked no burnt stuff.

There is a reason why this place is so empty and queue-less. Food isn't that good. Dry chicken burgers. Bought twice. Disappointed twice.

The Chicken fillet burger, the chicken wings, and chilli sauce is great here. And on hot summer days they sell tasty slushes.

Best hotwings ever. Quarter pounders are also very nice. Downside is that they mix ketchup and mayo in one pot and no burger sauce is available for burgers. Customer service is on point

Its a takeaway place. The have a variety. However their chips are drenched in oil. Chicken Doner tastes old and its just chicken cubes rather than actual doner. Lamb Doner is good. Birger patties are very dry.

This fast food outlet was meant to be closed many years ago. With the new management as the landlord - they have no idea what they're doing, I wouldn't mind buying this building and turning it into something new and fresh instead of dirty oil in the atmosphere and manipulating school children and jeopardising their health. Just closed up and go guys just closed up and go!

Bought lamb donner kebabs from, was very nice and good service.

Food was dry as ghandis flipflop and staff were very ignorant.
