Stef was a superhero to our 9 year old who hit his head gawping at the London skyline. Stef grabbed a huge bag of ice and helped our little boy in his hour of need. Frappacinos and coffee great here too.

I only stopped for a cookie. The branch was really busy and I could see there was no seating. The caramel and date cookie was nice but not like their usual standard. It lacked sweetness. To be honest, I couldn't really taste caramel nor date. Service was pleasant and the girl who served me was friendly.

Familia de 4 personas que simplemente solicitan cafés. NO chocolate para el capuchino. . . . . "Nuestro almacén nos ha dicho que se han acabado" Qué broma. Apenas con exceso de trabajo. Tampoco chocolate caliente. Patético

Las cosas que están pasando como Americano a las 2. 55 un tiro es una broma. Muy diluido, insípido y ciertamente no vale la pena esperar.

Fantastic hangout, large and comfy, great staff. I like that they hired a few deaf baristas to include that community as well. They're all friendly and competent and go the extra mile. I'm there almost every day.

-Very formal, almost unfriendly attitude by the staff. -No internet connection? In Canary Wharf? -Power plugs to charge your device? Hmmm... Where? -Coffee flavour? Double espresso = blank Be back? Why? 3/10

Having just left a nearby courthouse I was alarmed to note my mobile was rapidly running out of charge. Knowing I was likely to receive any number of important messages about court cases next week I needed to find somewhere to re-charge my phone for the next couple of hours if not the rest of the day. The large Waitrose unlike most John Lewis branches did not have any charging cupboards. So the presence of charging points next to virtually every pair of seats in the Jubilee Place Starbucks was a godsend. I even forgive them their chaotic ordering system which meant, having paid for a double espresso inside the shop, unbeknown to me I was expected to collect it from a shelf outside. I did not hear my name being called when it was ready. Consequently when I eventually asked for it it was cold. Fortunately the barista made me a replacement.

On a way out for business around that area. A good cup of coffee calls and Starbucks never let me down.

I have to say the place wasn't busy. They were helpful and quick and I have been to many places where a lack of people meant a lack of service. I ordered an iced cappuccino and was asked if I wanted sugar, I don't always get asked so I was pleased and it was very nice. Also purchased cheesecake Frapp that was also very tasty.

I have literally just got back from sitting in Starbucks with my friend which we do every single day of the working week and every single day of the working week I order my usual nitro cold brew with almond milk... this day however I didn't fancy my usual as I am trying to quit caffeine so thought I would wait until the end of my lunch to order my tea so I can have it hot at my desk for when I go back so I said to the polite employee that I am "okay for now", please notice how I say NOW... I was always going to order at the end of my lunch. Well.... my decision clearly annoyed the curly haired blonde female manager (she may not have been the manager, wouldn't be surprised) and she was literally speaking about me so loud and being extremely aggressive repeating everything I originally said, giving me filthy looks which honestly shocked & upset me, I was sitting a table away from her. If she had such a problem I would have explained the situation to her polity and the issue would have been resolved, I would have ordered my tea earlier. An utter shambles of a Starbucks employee! Apart from this awful experience... the staff behind the till are all lovely and I would know this as I visit on a daily basis!! Lesson is - please do not jump to conclusions, if you have an issue, how about approach the customer instead of speaking about them in front of their faces?

Menù standardizzato così come la location. Classico Starbucks dove poter gustare torte o bevande calde, navigare su internet e spezzare la monotonia quotidiana londinese.

I like Starbucks and will usually pick them against the other choices but today my experience was pretty exceptional so I wanted to add this specific location and a review to TripAdviser. I arrived and was looking around to see if one of the tables at the back was available since they have plug sockets and my laptop battery was down. As I was looking around one of the Baristas came over to ask if I needed help. I explained what I was doing and he suggested one of the bench tables which have sockets. I was just getting settled when he spotted that someone was looking like they might leave their table. He went over to check and then called me over. He then said that he could get me my order if I would like. I asked for a tea (yes I know, but I don't drink coffee) and he suggested that they do a pot of tea which was refillable. Fantastic. This arrived on a tray with a mug and also a jug of skimmed milk (I had asked if I needed to get this and was assured that he would bring this). He also plugged my laptop in which saved me crawling around on the floor. Joy. This really is much better service that I would expect in any such place so I wanted to share this with everyone.

Im assuming this is the stour cafe 258 Kingsland Road, and if not then thats what I'm talking about! Amazing coffee and the best bacon sarnie Ive ever eaten. Had in back in early December. Sour dough bread, butter, amazing meat and brown sauce - it was just brilliant. The bread was ace too. Great chef!

The waiter named Juliana pay to much attention to our table, making it a very warm and special time. I recommend this place a lottttt!! :)

Sargeant's Mess is a British restaurant just in front of the Tower of London and adjacent to Tower Bridge. Created by celebrity chef Mark Sargeant, the restaurant serves unmemorable food in a fairly bland atmosphere buttressed by one of the most spectacular locations in London. The food concept behind Mess is to offer traditional British fare at a high quality. Frankly, it is just average. The food is the weakpoint of the restaurant. The concept just seems to have fallen away with for instance the only vegetarian dish in the main course even using the American name Mac N Cheese. It is ok but it is just macaroni cheese so there's a clear ceiling to how good it can be. A large part of the menu is burgers. Not exactly traditional British fare. The vegetarian burger was not bad because it had an avocado in it. Otherwise not the kind of a quality a specialist upmarket provider might generate. Dessert options are fairly limited though the Eton Mess is ok. Service was not that great unfortunately. The faux accent was jarring in its articulation. Chips as an accompaniment to a burger were served without question as to whether a condiment could be offered then an over the top response was generated to a question asking whether such a thing could be provided. Price is high considering the fare. The location does demand a price like that but the food does not. Sargeant just has failed to generate interesting eating. One real shame for a December lunch was that it turned out the Christmas menu was not on offer. It was a real disappointment and made the whole place feel like a let-down. The plus is absolutely the magnificent location. Nestling in the shadow of the Tower and next to Tower Bridge the views are incredible. Looking out at the Thames is beautiful here although the number of window seats is quite small. However, going outside while waiting for food for instance offers a terrific perspective on some of London's finest buildings. Admittedly it is perfectly possible just to walk along the Thames and get the same view. Sargeant's Mess is ultimately a disappointment. The food is flavourless and too simple. Nothing interesting about it at all. No creativity or flair. The price reflects the location and so is too much for the quality of the eating. Service is not great and it was such a shame to find the menus advertised on the website did not exist in reality. The plus is the magnificent location, one of the very best anywhere in London.

Don’t eat here they are running a scam to steal tourists personal information. When I approached them to refund my credit card the server asked for personal information saying that only here line supervisor can make the refund and she does not work on weekends and requires it to make the refund. I’ve reported them to the credit card company.
