Had some dry chicken and had an upset stomach, and had to have a few toilet trips next morning. Not good won't return. Overpriced also.

The service was bad and the management was rude to all the customers. They also took too long to prepare the food. The food is also overpriced.

I love eating here, the food is great. Manny and Kagzi always make sure I have a little extra or even some discounts, which I really appreciate.

The food was excellent. Don’t forget to ask them to serve it well done. Then it will be perfect. The place is clean and has ample parking.

Food is average chicken & chips but jeeeez, fast food it ain't! Very very slow. I would recommend driving a mile or 2 down the road to maccys or KFC. You could eat your meal & have driven there & back before your order would be ready here

Ordered three pieces of chicken and chips but they were terrible. The chicken had obviously stood for a while and was dry and tasteless, the covering not crispy but quite hard. The chips also were not crispy but quite light and floppy.

The strips here are undercooked! Can your workers not see they are serving them yellow and soggy rather than brown and crispy? Disgusting! Also, tights on the chips and the sauces.

Bought a mexicano burger meal, the chicken was not a whole fillet this was more like a strip of chicken. More than half the bun was empty and only a couple of bites of chicken. Fries were not closed properly so spilt all in the bag. Asked for extra sauce as their sauce container is enough for only a couple of chips and was charged another 20p for another tiny contaciner that would only be enough for a few more chips. Will not be visiting again. daylight robbery

We use to be every week go and eat tax max salad and peri peri chicken salad chips, we always spend more then £45 with kids. We been yesterday there. They were very busy but chicken was not cooked completely when we took bites there is coming smell uncooked. My wife were very angry with me. So we decided we will never go back Huddersfield for Stoke on trent.

Absolutely the worse chicken place in Huddersfield. Burnt, oil charred chicken! Rubbery, cold food all the time. Extortionate prices and the portions have become smaller. What's worse is they simply do not care about the customer. 0.5/10 would never use this sham of a food place ever again. I highly recommend customers to NOT BUY YOUR FOOD OR WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE! they have gone down hill.

We ordered over £70 worth of food for our work lunch. Food came and was missing all dips & sauces. Ingredients and taste is bang on. But i cannot work out how they justify this as £9 worth of food. Very dissapointed. Wont be ordering again :(

Very dissappointed with Peri Peri Chicken first time few week ago also bad but thought I would give benefit of doubt, because i have been going there for months & food always good. There are definitely new staff dont know if new Chef, but he needs further training hardly any Peri Peri sauce and chicken not cooked through properly this was definately my last visit need to get grown up girls to do their job properly instead of flirting with other staff, sounds sad being a woman myself, but only saying what I see both in food and service

This is a disgraceful takeaway. Fresh blood inside chicken which staff say is normal. If thats normal for them. I think environmental food need to pay a visit. When showing evidence of the blood. They state it is just bruised. Instead of it being a 7£ butterfly burger. It was more like a deadfly burger covered in blood which i wouldnt pay 50p for. Nevermind £7. refused to change it. Refused refund. When asking for the managers name he became all hesitant and said you dont need to know my name. Brilliant customer service. Looking at the reviews it seems like im not the only person with this issue. With the rude staff and blood in chicken. Never going here in my life. Ever ever ever again. After staff find it ammusing. We will see how ammusing they find it when they see their faces all over social media for selling chicken with blood inside.

We've been to chickanos many times and it's been a family favourite but recently the quality of the food has gone downhill. The prices have increased and portions have gotten smaller. Some particular staff can be rude and orders are always mixed up. This last particular visit included a burger with no chicken in it and second burger with no jalapeno bites in it. They always seem to mess up the order but to pay full price for the food and to end up with a burger that doesn't even contain the main ingredient is just not acceptable. They need to improve their quality and quantity.

I ordered the peri peri chicken burger box meal, when I received my burger I cut it into half and when to take a bite. When I looked down at the burger there was blood and it felt rubbery!! When I showed the guy behind the counter he said the chicken was bruised, never have I seen a bright red bruise on a chicken!! Disgusting 🤢 No apology from staff but offered to get me another burger which I refused as it put me right off!!

They did not have half the menu as they were “waiting for a delivery” ...( on a Saturday afternoon!!!). They don’t take card payments ...tut tut. The sauce containers were the size of thimbles. Went to Batley branch last week and what a contrast - great food and great service. Another customer asked for a burger but they don’t do burgers only burger meals!! When he was told they only take cash payments he walked out in disgust. No wonder the Batley branch was bustling and Huddersfield was dead. Get a grip

For the price Chickano's offers great value for money. The only let down is the customer service experience. More often than not the staff will be concentrating on telephone orders meaning face to face customers who really should be priority are sat waiting far longer than they should be. And... who in this day and age doesn't except card payments. You've got to question why....

I would have given the star that equaled good not average bit 4 stars is very good and I felt Chicanos was good not very good.Very nice helpful friendly staff, had to wait 15 minutes for the food, wasn't quite enough to fill me up but it was only £5.99.I had a chat with a fella on site saying cheaper than Nandos plus better food but I disagree as I thought yes definitely cheaper but couldn't compare to the market leader

The Huddersfield branch has parking and great seating. The loos are mixed. The service took 40 mins after order to get food. Also charge 35p extra if get drink with meal deal and extra charge if want more sauces. The food is small in portion but good in quality. Have increased variety on menu which is a plus. Would I attend again? Maybe as not much alternatives in huddersfield.

ive replace our KFC take outs with Chickano's. The food is lovely, and excellent value. however, not too happy with the customer services at Huddersfield. close lunchtimes friday for prayer (which is fine, but it is at different times). they never have the peri peri salt (when they do in the back), and we have often had to wait a long time for food. note; BATLEY branch is far better customer services. come on guys ... catch up

We went into Chickano's and placed our order only to be told that they can only process cash payments so I had to leave to get cash with no cashpoints very close by. Returned 20 minutes later and placed the order. We had to chase it twice and were about to leave when it came through after a further 30 minutes, the kids were getting fractious by this time. The service assistant was constantly being interrupted by phone calls which was slowing things a little more (he wasn't focused on the customers as he was being drawn in too many different directions). It'd probably be better if they focused on take away or the restaurant and not both. There were lots of people coming in after us getting served after 5 minutes so we felt they was no order to the service process and we couldn't see any obvious management or supervisor presence. Their response was that it was busy. The gent's toilet smelt really bad and the ladies' had a broken toilet seat and a lot of dirty water on the floor. We recommend you avoid this place to prevent disappointment particularly if you're going with your family.

Went here for the first time and we fell in love with the fried chicken, sauces, and fries. The fried chicken and wings was just so tasty, probably the best fried chicken I ever had!

Estado aquí muchas veces, bastante cerca de mi trabajo, así que metiéndome en cuando he terminado a veces, nunca me decepcionó. El Buffalo Ranch burger es el mejor, tienen diferentes tipos de pelea por cada hamburguesa, lo que es interesante. Esta salsa de ajo sirven, que es toda una revelación. Y las alas son, la alas son perfectamente arqueadas, segundo Marston. Buena relación calidad-precio, con buenas porciones. El único inconveniente es que no aceptan tarjeta, pero eso está bien, porque el pollo como esta sólo se merece efectivo frío dura.

Foods always decent from chickanos, the only downside is that the batter in the chicken can sometimes be very salty

Must say the standards are really dropping like flies attracted to the zapper. Ordered a 1/4 chicken and got the piece in the picture for £3. Either that's bad service or management really are cutting corners and eventuallu the number of customers.

Accidentally finding chickanos on my way to tesco was the best accident I think I have ever made, the range of chicken variety is amazing and when the food came it was honestly the best chicken I've had in a while, restaurant crisp and new added to my great experience here.

I have been here loads of times ... there is usually a 10-15 mins waiting time for food (that's if it's quiet) the chips are always lovely and a good sized portion and the sauces that come free with the meals are gorgeous ... however the last few times I have been the chicken was barely warm ...However if this issue could be sorted it would be a 5/5 as I do think it is better than KFC...

Im actually a big fan of chickanos. I love the piri piri burger, it's my favourite over any Mcdonalds or Kfc burger but every time I go its never the same.Some visits the burger will be absolutely amazing - to the point where I want to go back and buy another & other times it'll be rock hard, as if the chickens been there for a few days. Unfortunately I had to go back and ask for another burger on my last visit as it was like biting into a rubber tyre. However when it's good it's really good! Only other issues really is the Huddersfield restaurant (not sure about the rest) only accepts cash, which can be so inconvenient as I hardly carry cash on me.The staff aren't always the friendliest and sometimes can be quite off hand - however its not always the case. Last moan, the selection of drinks is pretty rubbish, theres only a few choices of cans or water and no drinks machine, I'd personally say it'd work better if they had more choice for customers and installed a pump with drinks like pepsi and fanta (like mcdonalds and kfc do) - it'd definitely make more money.Other than that, I quite like Chickanos, I wouldn't say it absolutely amazing because it's really just a fast food takeaway, but its decent for a burger. I'd definitely say to try it out & hope you go on a good day

Nice, clean, crisp fast food where you CAN find healthy food as well. I have seen this place for a long time and after my lunch today, I'll be back next time for Buffalo grilled chicken again. Generous portions of chips with amazing sauces FOC. If you fancy freshly grilled chicken, get in there...

Phoned up to order and was told it would be ready straight away, when I get there the lads behind the counter just stood talking. Waiting 10 mins patiently and still no one asked if I had ordered. 20 mins after placing the order, I walked out WITHOUT my order. Shocking is the word that comes to mind, service has gone down hill since they opened up, fast food is the business but couldn't be any slower. I have been a regular customer since the day chickanos in huddersfield opened. This isn't the first time this has happened but it will be the last, I won't be going again

Came to the Bradford shop twice in one week, had the Buffalo burger first and Mexicano burger recently it was amazing! I would return again :)

I am writing a review again as although the taste of the food is unchanged and good, I am concerned with food preparation standards. I see salad bowls being filled with bare hands and chicken pink near the bone. If someone from Chickanos sees this, please take action before your loyal customers fall sick. Disposable gloves and tongs should be mandatory for staff handling food.

Love this place. Tex mex salad is amazing. So filling, flavoursome and great value. My go to fast food place of choice!

I have heard people rave about this place, so thought I would give it a try. Will not bother again, I could have had the same at KFC and served in half the time. Our food was luke warm though this was probably because most of it was sat on the side while the final part of the order was being made for at least 10 minutes that I know of not sure how long it was sat there for. The chicken was nothing special, staff appeared rushed and shouted a lot. Will stick to Marstons for my chicken.

This is better than any KFC! Bigger portions, much tastier and more value for money! Great sauces! Only downside they don't take card payments and it is close to my work. Well worth a visit!

Regularly go to chickanos it's super. Great value for money. I love the buffalo ranch salads never thought a salad could be filling until I had one from chickanos. Good for kids too!! Decent pieces of chicken all cooked to order

not the easiest to find to park but the food is excellent, cooked fresh which can mean a wait at busy times but well worth it.Staff friendly and overall better than KFC and all the other pretenders!

Chickanos is fantastic, the kids love it and it's nice and friendlyNot as greasy as KFC and the chips portions are bigger than anything like mcdonalds, kfc etc.You can sit in and they have their own carpark too.I never knew why they didn't have chickanos in the town centre instead of on the main road.Prices are great too. You can only pay with cash though.

First timer and was not disappointed. My son raves about this place! Order takes a bit but all is to order and cooked fresh. Not as greasy as kfc and portions good. Chips excellent and hot crispy. Cones with garlic and peri peri sauce. Much better value than kfc also. Fillet meal 3.40. Try it. Well be back for sure

When it first opened in Huddersfield I was concerned that the business would not attract many customers as it is not near shops. I also thought that it would be another chicken and chips shop. How wrong could I have been. Its always buzzing with people. The menu has clear descriptions and photos for each item on offer. Flavours are amazing. We often order food and collect it on a Fri lunchtime at work. I have even been there late in the evening. Always freshly made food. The salads are very filling and you can have a decent meal even if you have just half the quantity. The portions are generous. I can guarantee that you will never go to KFC after visiting Chickanos. They have both fried and grilled chicken dishes. Even the fried food is not greasy. My mouth is watering as I type this.

Ordered food at the till in a busy time was given the wrong food, when trying to tell the server he told another server about the situation telling him to push it to the back, food was ok for the price, customer service, terrible

I have visited a few times this year and i have been a very satisfied customer. The menu is extensive, giving plenty of choice. The seating area is modern and clean. The food is very good and i found the staff polite and helpful. I have have only a cupel of points for improvement, 1 is the toilets are very small, as is the car park. But for value for money, i can't complain. You receive very good food for a fraction of the price. I will be going back and will be recommending chickano's to my friends

Love the ranch burger and wrap but prefer eating at home than in its more male dominated and cold atmosphere and seating plan doesn't really work but foods very tasty so it makes up for the negatives

As fast food places go, it's hard to fault Chickano's! Service was great; food was juicy and delicious; price is good. What more can you ask for when you're hungry and in a hurry?

It wasn't what I expected but you get what you pay for. It was very clean, the service was good and the food was okay.

Been to chickano today. Very busy. Got mi a mexicano burger and miranda. Went down great. Good customer service even got asked if I wannted garlic and chilli sauces otha place's dont ask . Nice inside food and staff good

I ordered here with a friend and had driven from bradford because I had heard the food was good. I ordered a buffalo meal and my friend ordered a brazinger meal. When the order was ready the burgers looked really tasty but as I bit into it, it was cold don't get me wrong the burger was tasty but you could just tell it had been there for a while. I argued this with the guy on the till and all I got from him was him promising me that it wasent he then said he could keep the fillets in the warmer for atleast an hour and I think that's what had happened but were kept there 4 over an hour. I spoke to him for about 10 min and he could clearly see I wasent happy and not once did he say just wait a few minutes and il do you a fresh one. By the way my grinds burger was the same. Would not recommend for this reason it's not like its £2 a meal if u know what I mean. I think il have to wait for the one in bradford to open and see if that's any better IA

Great menu, healthy options and very tasty all cooked fresh, ring and order if you are in a rush as it is not that " fast" but worth the wait!
