Cherry Tree pub in Sheffield

New management who have improved it so much. A proper local for the area. Hope people frequent it.

Great to see The Cherry Tree back open and I wish the team all the very best in making this a thriving community pub. Three cask ales and at least one other keg bitter (Stones) on tap. They have Sky Sports and there's a pool table, too. There's work to be done but if the large catchment area it serves gives it a chance, the only way is up!!

The new Landlady’s are amazing!!! Lived round the corner all my life and finally the pub has been brought to life! Amazingggg Pork Sarnies on a Sunday aswell :)

The new landlady's have done an amazing job bringing this pub back to life. Really great buzz and a community feel. Sport on for peope who want to watch it and a pool table/darts. Great selection of drinks and really reasonably priced. The bar snacks are top notch too. The homade chicken Samosas (£2) and Nachos (only £3.50!) were amazing and cant wait to try the rest of the menu. They do hot roast sarnies on a Sunday too! Would highly recommend.

It's a pub. It sells beer and is near to where I live. New people in charge! Amazing attention to service. I'm looking forward to spending more time there

Decent pub with friendly staff. Standard beers available but some real ale pumps too. Sadly closes very early on some weekdays.

Ok British pub, offering the classics like Carling, stones and 1664, but no card machine!! Unforgivable these days especially when there’s no card machines near by at all!!

Needs to give more people a reason to enter. Being just a pub isnt enough.

I asked for some menus and was told they are not serving food by some argumentative woman who had been talking about incontinence across the bar.

Popped into the pub just after the new year. Told that the pub was under new ownership from last November and despite the ads outside offering food, the new owners had not got around to serving food up since they took over.

La comida es de excelente relación calidad-precio, el servicio es excelente y el personal es muy amable y acogedor. Comidas para niños son 3 libras cada uno y eso incluye casera croquetas de pollo, y buena calidad local salchichas- una muy agradable sorpresa de encontrar no es lo habitual basura a menudo te! los platos principales de adultos están alrededor de £6. Excelente relación calidad-precio! Lo recomendaría sin dudarlo.

metimos en esta noche después de unos 30 años o más lejos de Sheffield. El nuevo propietario había tomado el pub hace 6 semanas explicó. Pedí una pinta de cerveza de agricultores y un pollo y papas fritas. tomé la pinta a mi mesa y me sorprendió que el propietario después de examinar mi ale como cesó por mi mesa dijeron, oh no, este es muy nublado y rápidamente lo reemplazaron con claridad pour. explicó que no era a sus estándares y él era el registro la bodega para asegurarse de que él tenía los ajustes correctos de presión.

The Cherry Tree offers great value for money and real good hearty portions, Good atmosphere, live sky sports and friendly staff.

Since this pub re-opened under new management it is well worth a visit for either a few real ales or a good hearty meal. Its a little gem in the middle of Carter Knowle!

Decent choice of mains at only £6. I had the goats cheese and asparagus tart served with hand cut chips, peas and salad, just the job. Nice to see us vegetarians well catered for! :-)

Visitamos el Cherry Tree pub última semana después de notar que ahora están sirviendo comida todos los días desde el mediodía, y me alegro de haberlo hecho! Tuve la calabaza Butternut vegetariana casera, espinacas y requesón pastel, que fue absolutamente deliciosa, mi amigo tenía un pastel de pescado, que también era muy sabroso. No puedo esperar para volver y probar más. Recomiendo totalmente este tesoro escondido!

I came to visit with friends after the anticipation of the food starting again. The food prepared here is done so with great care and the taste reflects this. A great place to eat with food served from 12am everyday. Recommend it to anyone

It's been a while since I was in this pub but having moved back close to area & passed it on a few occasions over the past few months, a few friends & myself, thought we'd round off the Xmas hols & visit the Cherry Tree for a session.Arrived around 12:15pm on Fri 3rd Jan, the opening times displayed on the door state 12 to 12, yet the pub doors were shut as were the upstairs curtains & a few of the downstair ones. Nobody about. Shame.Still, a brisk 5 min walk up Carter Knowle Rd & the Cherry Tree's loss was the Prince of Wales' gain.
