The food arrived hot and fresh with generous portions and authentic flavors！This will definitely be my go-to spot for Chinese takeaway.

Decided to use this one as my usual was shut for lunar new year . Friendly prompt service. Got to admit disappointed with the food . Bland with no flavor unfortunately. Maybe a one off . I don't know as I will probably never go back

The worst experience for ordering Chinese food in my life. Gave us the wrong box of food, paid for it and now won't give us the right box

Great food. Never had a bad meal from them. Their delivery service is good and very friendly. On a couple of occasions when the order was slightly wrong they made up for the next time. Highly recommend

If we ever have a Chinese normaly this is the first place I would go , but I can honestly say I don't know if I would order again from, very dissatisfied, one had hardly any sauce on it just looked so dry , another had hardly any taste, but must admit the prawn crackers and springs rolls and chicken balls can't complain

I have probably had about 10 takeaways from Chequers over the last two years. I can honestly say this is the best Chinese I've ever had the privilege of ordering from. Not only is the food outstanding, but it is consistent. I have yet to receive anything less than perfect from here. An absolute gem.

Went in to order. Great service and not too long waiting. Reasonable prices and great tasting food, we even got complimentary spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce as well as prawn crackers. Couldn’t fault any of it. Will definitely be using them again.

Always delicious and hot, plenty of food per portion, value for money. Every time we try different dishes and they're all fantastic!! This place is so popular that in some times phone lines are busy and you need to keep trying for longer to get through, but it's worth waiting :)

Also spot on. Never had a bad meal, or experience in 5 years. Always family and friends have commented how nice it is. Little freebie touch when you spend some much as well, goes along way.

Good food nice people quick delivery

Haden't had a Chinese takeaway for a long time and several disappointing ones. This was in my view just how Chinese food should be. Perfect fried rice, the chips were perfect Chinese style. I will be definitely using them again.

What can I say….. first time we have used Chequers of Anstey , the food quality and portion size was EXCELLENT!! Not salty or greasy like many others we have tried, well cooked and great value for money! Service was really good with friendly staff. We will definitely be returning!!

Delicious food, my favourite local Chinese! Chips are very tasty, tofu in black bean sauce is my favourite I've tried anywhere! The staff are friendly and are very accommodating if you want to check ingredients of certain items or want rice/vermicelli noodles instead of egg noodles for example. 10/10
