Absolutely terrible experience. Was charged way over the odds for a pretty standard breakfast Friend had pie/mash which she found horrible. Bland and cold. Also on a visit to the toilet after eating I noticed loads of mice droppings in the toilet. God good I’d eaten before or I would have left straight away. Disgusting Won’t be visiting again

Stopped by for a sausage roll on a Sunday afternoon. Excellent service, reasonable prices, pretty busy and I can see why. The sausage roll was great, good quality and plenty of sausage. Would definitely come back for a fry-up.

I'm sure this establishment has changed hands over the years but this place NEVER disappoints. You get exactly what you order. All food is freshly fried in clean oil. Staff are super friendly and always welcoming. I had a cooked breakfast followed with a brown Darby.... always a treat

Absolutely love this place for a family-friendly after-school tea or weekend breakfast. Fast service, simple quality fare, always happy to improvise off-mene depending on the whims of the kids, cheery staff, highly recommended.

We have been using this restaurant for many years and over the last few visits we have noticed a decline in the quality of the food. I have tried a number of items from the menu and we are now looking to try a new Grill restaurant, things that I have noticed are the way the Salad is presented, the type of sausage appears to have changed, the chips are very brown when cooked and the taste is not too good.

We are treated like we matter. They can't be more friendly or attentive if they tried. The menu is comprehensive, caters for most tastes and they assume you arrive hungry! The food is prepared promptly and is of a high standard and really good value. There are specials on offer that are always tempting. In fact, it is sometimes difficult to know what to choose. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can't miss with this brilliantly run diner.

Service here is excellent. My family and friends have been eating at Chefs for years. Big portions and delicious cafe food. Fry ups are a family favourite, but you've got to try the extra thick milkshakes, made with ice-cream - no nonsense here!

The service and choices were good. The food while plain was excellent and the portions large and very reasonably priced. The staff were good with the children in the cafe, would recommend it to anybody with hungry children. Not fancy but excellent value..

This is a family favourite of ours. Their staple are fry ups and chips. But, they also have a great list of specials including curry and chilli. It's honest food, reasonable prices and very friendly staff. We love it, mind we only live round the corner. My kids always clear their plates, and they sell beer if you so fancy. Love this place.

I have been there with friends for a quick good quality breakfast. Couldn't fault anything! Really tasty, good prices, and service. Dear Chefs Delight Manager - you have a very good waiter on board. I have been a witness of his care about disabled person who came for breakfast. The waiter (don't remember his name) was really calm, understanding, full of patience, smile, and respect. Bravo! In fact he was just normal, as we should all be. Again! Must visit when hungry and locally! Thank you staff of Chefs Delight... five *****

It's the sort of place you can pop into anytime for breakfast, lunch or an early evening meal. The staff are friendly and the cafe food always good.

We've been coming to this little cafe for more than 25 years. Originally we had family in the area so visited at least every couple of months when we were in the area from up north. Now however it's about once a year when we make our annual pilgrimage. Over the years what were once the young waiting staff have become the owners and they still remember us when we walk in. The menu hasn't changed although the cafe has been remodelled once or twice over the years. Food is hot and fresh and you can pretty much have any combination of fast food your heart desires. Our children (who are now grown ups) were always partial to a lime milkshake and are delighted that it's still on the menu and that they can now have an adult portion of their favourite chicken nuggets, chips and beans. We hope this place will still be around for the next twenty five years.

I ordered a quarter pounder and chips. I was hungry and in a rush so tried this place out as it seemed busy so that must be good right? WRONG!!The burger was too dry and resembled something of which you can purchase off a fast good stand outside of a football ground on a match day. I was hungry so I ate it. The cost of the meal was overpriced for what you got. If you were to eat here with family then I suggest you find somewhere else a little more upmarket as the prices are ridiculous. It also felt as though I was sitting in the middle of the local job centre as the type of people who eat here seemed to resemble the like if which you see on TV. It was though they had taken the residents off the recent tv documentary 'Benefits Street' and say them all around me. I will not be returning in the near future put it that way. I would not return to this dive if my life depended on it.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, particularly the new French chap and the manager. I came for a snack and a coffee with my laptop to do a little work. The fries were perfect: crispy and crunchy and generous but for nearly £5 you would expect them to be spot on! Ketchup is free but mayo is an extra 50p😱 The oat hot chocolate was good which is why I've only put 4/5* for the "food" as a combination of the drink and fries. Oat milk is a bit of tricky milk to work with so I appreciate it can be hard to make it creamy. I'm very much a fan of places these days that don't put on the American "service charge" and this cafe doesn't do that's a big thumbs up from me. You can choose to add one and that's what it should be in England so well done The Pear Tree for not just acting like the majority to make awkward English folk to embarrassed to mention it! Overall I'd definitely come back as it has a nice atmosphere, brilliant staff and good looking menu.

In London for work and the best breakfast we could have asked for! We both ordered the breakfast bagel deal and it was clear it was cooked fresh - very balanced breakfast which is rare when working away really helped set us up for the day. Friendly staff and great atmosphere- 100% will be back whenever in the area.

I called ahead to get a bouquet made up, gave my price range and colours I wanted and they absolutely smashed it out of the park. I'm so impressed.

Excellent coffee, and a delicious pistachio pain au chocolat. However the experience slightly marred by the hostile manager who was making coffees. He was short and rude with his staff and his attitude made the atmosphere awkward. Hope for his staff’s sake he’s not always like that!

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in London. Staff were great, food was exceptional, incredible value for money. If you’re in the area go.
