Nice coffee and sandwiches just sad they no longer have wifi :(

Bought a mozzarella pesto panini and they toasted it. Bit into it and it was stone cold . Unfortunately was now on the train so couldn’t return . Tried calling more than 10 times and there was no response . £4.95 is not little money to be served something cold .

They don't disclose ingredients which can be a serious problem for people with medical or allergic conditions. For example they do not tell you the entire ingredients that they make smoothies with. The ingredients they list are not accurate, they add things not listed on the menu when they make them which could cause a diabetic or a person with allergies huge problems. I asked if the smoothie was made with just frozen fruit and ice instead of milk or yoghurt ( dairy allergy) but they did not list apple juice as the main ingredient anywhere. The fruits listed do not mention apple or apple juice. This is a serious deception and they laughed when I brought it up that not providing accurate ingredients or not disclosing a major ingredient is dangerous to public health. The staff took this as a laugh. Not impressed at all.

Absolutely delicious avocado and ginger smoothie. A real treat and a nice surprise! I was just picking something up nearby and thought I'd give it a go - so glad I did. The apricot Danish was pretty good too.

The best almond brownie ever and great decaf

I used to come here every morning and always recieved the best chai lattes and avacado sandwiches that are perfect on the go. Such a beautiful warm atmosphere on the shop that I absolutely love . Now there's a new one in Chislehurst which is equally beautiful and closer to home. Absolutely love this hidden gem of peace - perfect for a place to work for a bit. Definitely coming back here again. I'd give it 10 stars if it was possible. Highly recommended ❤️

I dont agree with your policy on no laptops, as I felt that if I paid for my order it should not be up to you what I do with my time while in the cafe. If your intention was to get me out the door as soon as I finish my food then say that or open a take away only, as from a lovely cafe I used to like to visit, I will definitely not be wasting my money in a place where I am limited to what I need to do. I would not overstay my welcome if I saw you were busy. But the place was half empty and I still was asked to put my laptop away after I already paid for my order.

Great little coffee shop with choice of nice sandwiches and cakes. Coffee was good and service was lovely and quick. Very conveniently located by the station

Poor tasting coffee. £2.90 for a latte. Milk was burnt and so couldn’t taste the coffee. Would not recommend. AVOID.

Whenever I'm at Grove Park, I get my tea or coffee here. Also, I love sitting in with one of their lovely toasted sandwiches or croissants. Staff always helpful and friendly.

Stopped getting my coffee here last year as they kept serving awful burnt bitter brews. This morning I gave them another chance, and was sold a latte made with stale beans and / or stale milk. It was absolutely rancid, tasted like smelly old vegetables or something. Like a fool I chugged half of it before I realised, and now have a bad stomach. Last time I ever use this coffee shop. Never again!

Delicious coffee and pastries adjacent to Grove Park station. Staff were welcomng and attentive, pleasant interior with plenty of seating, recommended.

For me, it was the best coffee I had in England when I was there. The people in the shop was very nice.

I've been a regular customer of Resta for a few years now, they always did nice coffee, until recently. Recently, every coffee I get tastes bitter and nasty and just ends up going in the bin. Maybe they've changed their beans or coffee machine, whatever it is, it's not a good change :(

Small coffee shop, good food, and great coffee. Ordered a Mocha with a egg, cheese, and bacon baguel. Food was great coffee was amazing, not too hot that you have to wait a long time before it's drinkable. Seating on the bench in the room is a little too high for the tables but otherwise good.

If this is the Resta presently on the High Street, it's by far the best coffee shop I found during my stay in Lewisham. Come to think of it, it's the best one I found in London. The Americano is rich and different, with intriguing combinations of flavour notes. Not an easy thing to make your Americano taste unique. The owners and staff of this small, neat cafe are super efficient, yet friendly and flexible. They also display an enticing range of freshly baked goodies. Twice I had a sort of hazelnut slice here, which was awesome, a fudgy texture enclosing the nuts. Such a classy coffee shop. Resta really knows what it's about. Kudos.

Best mochas hands down. If I had a choice to miss my train and be late for work or order their mocha, then I'll be late for work

*one of the best coffees i ever have had in London* I went there while changing my over-ground train as it's just in the neighbouring. I had Latte with caramel. Cause i always customise my coffee. I'm very specific when it comes to my coffee. And it was Ammmazingggg! I told them how much i loved the coffee. And they said if you could write a review, we'll be happy. You guys made me soo happy, so here it goes.♥️

Great cappuccino and reasonable price.

I’ve been coming to Resta for my morning coffee on the way to work for over a year now and their iced mochas have quickly earned their place in my top 3 favourite places to go for coffee! The staff are always super friendly and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my order. I love going in there in the mornings and smelling the croissants baking! Protein shakes are super yummy too, I must arrange to try their food sometime soon :)

Amazing coffee and smoothies. Vegan friendly and the staff is very nice and always smiling to you. I’m happy to be a regular customer to this place. It’s a quick stop before going to the train station and ideal opens for my busy schedule.

I’m new to grove park and have been working as a starbucks barista for a long time, but couldn’t find one around this area. So I went in here for a cheeky iced latte and was so excited they had salted caramel syrup. Let me tell you the salted caramel iced latter here is divine. Better than any flavour at starbucks :P also the barista is adorable x see ya later resta coffee ;)

Nice coffee shop but dreary location To reply to owner response: I agree, I like Lewisham very much (never stayed here before). When I wrote the review I had in mind the overflowing trash bin that was my view. I've been back multiple times, so it certainly doesn't keep me away.

I ordered 5/6 of smoothies from them and the first I tried I noticed something that wasnt part of the drink. It was genuine aluminium foil, I don’t think this is the kind of issues that can be solved with a simple refund and I suggest all the people that want to try this restaurant to AVOID IT at all cost as it cane be a effective health treat. Never happened anywhere else

Visited here for breakfast. Good tea and coffee accompanied by a couple of fresh Croissant and a slice of Banana Cake. Easy and friendly staff and great value. Definitely visit again.

A great little cafe. Liked my smoothie and my tea when I visited recently. Fair prices, friendly staff and really nice atmosphere. Good sturdy tables and chairs and lots of power points. Will return and try something from the tempting menu next time.

I'm a local here and and a big coffee nerd, but usually brew my own coffee...if I'm out I usually want an espresso and this does the best in the area. However I think their longer drinks (e.g. Americano and milk based drinks like flat white, lattes) could do with some variation and finesse i.e. not served boiling hot, but having spoken with other locals including the Turkish barber's opposite, they seem to love it that way. In summary- if you like your coffee very hot and dark, then this is will be up your street...if you're into more artisan lighter brewing or something with more acidity and complexity then you're out of luck for the area...

Decent little coffee shop serving the Grove Park vicinity, however the coffee itself is fairly standard and won't please a coffee connoisseur - they serve it very hot, maybe too hot for my liking, but I suppose it's how the local area likes it

This was one of the nicest coffees I’ve had in a long time and the staff were lovely. Can’t wait to go back to try the avocado toastie!

Sandwiches are freshly made which is nice. Not mad about the coffee blend used. Also they don't seem very aware of Covid safety which actually puts me off going back.

I'm a regular here. Coffee is great, staff are friendly and welcoming, and there is a tempting selection of pastries. We are really fortunate to have such an aweome coffee shop in the neighbourhood.

Visité Resta esta mañana para tomar un café en mi camino al trabajo en Londres y debo decir que es uno de los mejores cafés que he probado en mucho tiempo. Todo el personal era encantador El servicio fue rápido. No me di el gusto de ninguno de los pasteles, ¡pero todos se veían deliciosos! Voy a visitar de nuevo. 2 para un latte regular era muy razonable también! Me gustó el hecho de que tenían pocas áreas para sentarse y fue agradable ver que había algunas personas que tenían una conversación de negocios.

Justo al lado de la estación de Grove Park, esta es una cafetería súper amigable. Soy un bebedor de café descafeinado y el barista me hizo un capuchino perfectamente delicioso. Such a lovely local coffee shop. The staff are always kind and friendly - delivering very delicious coffee. I especially admire their range of foods such as cannoli's and Portugese rice muffins! Would definitely recommend.

Popped in this morning as I had wanted to try the place for ages. The staff are extremely friendly and the coffee is good. They have several alternatives to cow’s milk (soya, almond, oat etc.) It’s very clean and sells a good range of snacks.

Este es un esfuerzo muy d% para abrir una tienda de café en Grove Park. Me gusta el café mucho y es muy agradable para tomar un café en la zona, ya que está necesitado. La zona está creciendo y ha cambiado mucho durante los últimos 4 años. Es un buen comienzo para comenzar a explotar las tiendas alrededor de la estación. La buena zona no muy bien si hubiera una renovación de su tienda. Este café es el primer paso hacia esta dirección.

Uno pensaría que después de todo este tiempo, el dueño de la cafetería se hubiera tomado un curso o alquilar el personal suficiente para que él no tiene que hacer el café él mismo. Delighted to have such a good coffee shop in Grove. Polite, prompt service and great tasting coffee. A good range of pastries and toastie and an ideal stop off next to Grove Park Station.

went there on july 21st for a coffee and pastry. They leave the pastries in baskets by the counter without covering them, i was about to order my tea and pastry but i felt too close to the food, it put me off so i ordered a sausage roll which was covered lower down in the display cabinet and out of publics way/breath, its sounds a bit strange to make a comment like this but some of the petrol stations have the same display baskets near the queue and they are uncovered too.

I had a lovely coffee here and noticed a lovely selection of pastries. Recommended whenever in grove park! I look forward to trying it again soon

Soy quería una commuter diaria y siempre para tomar un buen café en mi camino al trabajo. La única cosa que falta en Grove Park y aquí nos quedamos. Se puede ver que tiene problemas pero para mí el servicio ha sido bueno y rápido que es imprescindible cuando te quedas a su tren. Incluso nos recuerda lo que ahora y ni siquiera tienes que pedir. y su buen precio. Puede que no sea el mejor lugar para sentarse y comer ya que es principalmente para vías. Por lo tanto es un 5 estrellas para mí .

Soy un café adictos, y tengo que decir que aquí es el mejor capuchino se puede beber en machihembrado Park 👍just como en Italia. No comer nada, pero el café es simplemente genial! Y es muy barato 😉

It has to be said it was the best of a bad lot, everything else in Grove Park on a cold Monday lunchtime either being closed or just being a takeaway. But it was sad. The poor young women working there had no idea what the food was (a cheese puff turned out to be an inedible vegetable puff) and there was hardly any choice. The cheese in my baguette was processed, too, though the bread was fresh. Add to that the dreary decor, the door to the staff room standing open, and the communications problems, and it really was not a good experience. My advice - avoid Grove Park on a winter Monday lunchtime.
