Chef China in Swale

I got an order of deep fried squid. I’ve been rapidly competing ever since every half an hour, the kitchen is dirty oil wasn’t cleaned after multiple uses on hop fest. I will be contacting the owner and possibly sending a health inspector down there immediately because they need to be shut down.

This place has gone down hill very rapidly over the last year. It used to do amazing Chinese, now it is overpriced and food unfit to be called "chinese". For example, I ordered crispy aromatic duck. I was given a deep-fried duck beast. Absolutely no coating of Chinese 5 spice, etc, on the duck. I would not recommend spending your hard earned cash here. Go else where, unless you like badly deep-fried food where the oil needs to be changed.

Ordered foods from here few days ago and the foods were delicious, best beef chow mein, absolutely love it. Definitely recommend

The Chef China is a little gem the kind man even carried the bag of food for my lady partner to the car. Apart from great grub such good maners too. Well worth a visit.

First visit here last night, and we were really impressed. I ordered the set meal for one but the nice guy on reception allowed me to substitute one of the items for another which was appreciated as I'm not keen on mushrooms. I waited for about 15 mins all in for it to be ready and paid 9.90 for 3 items which easily fed two of us, so we felt this was a complete bargain. I often find that special fried rice can be a little bit salty in other places, but here it wasn't at all so that was nice. We also had a beef chow mein which was huge and easily fed both of us with leftovers and was very tasty. Given that it's so close to the station we will certainly be coming back here; didn't even know it was here and stumbled accross it by accident so very pleased!
