Do not go here thinking you will get a good bar experience. The bartender Dennis was rude. He never responded with words to anything. I asked if we sit and he said I don’t serve anyone. So we ordered and had to find a seat after getting drinks. . He rolled his eyes when we asked for refills. No piano player as advertised.

Fuimos a cenar temprano y nos saludaron calurosamente y quedamos impresionados con la elección del menú. Nuestra llegada también (felizmente) coincidió con "Happy Hour", así que las bebidas eran muy razonables. El servicio fue amable y rápido y todos disfrutamos nuestras comidas. Recomendado.

Bien; si es un gran servicio lo que quieres. . . ve a otra parte. Esta fue una experiencia horrible. Dos sándwiches tardaron 25 minutos y tuvieron que ser devueltos porque estaban fríos.

La señora chef es tailandesa y la comida es una gran mezcla de británica y tailandesa. Pero por qué el menú de bebidas debería ser tan difícil de leer era una irritación innecesaria; alguien debería haber probado esto antes de darles a las impresoras el visto bueno.

We booked a table for two on a Sunday bank holiday evening, it was really quiet with just two other tables being use, having said that there was a nice feel to the dining area. We asked about a taster menu advertised on the web site but were told it wasn't available,our 2nd choice was Thai so that was OK. My wife had scallops and I had chicken skewers followed by King prawn and glass noodles and green curry with prawns both good serving and very tasty. Also advertised two for one cocktails which were OK for one round but they had ran out of the making of a second, and had limited making for other cocktails that some friends who joined us had asked for......they could do with stocking up if they are advertising it to get you into the bar! The seating area was very comfortable and spacious so our party of 12 were able to sit comfortably. We would definitely visit again but would hope that they have more choice of cocktails if so advertised.

My second visit to this restaurant and planning to go again. Delicious food. The best Thai I have tasted in London. Very pleasant service and a good atmosphere. Pianist was good. Very reasonably priced. Good portions.

Service lent alors que salle vide. Par contre vous encaisse rapidement à la fin. Ne viennent pas vers vous à l'entrée et pas souriant, dommage car lieu très sympathique et tarif corrects.

Popped into the bar as they were advertising cocktails and gin. The cocktails we ordered were 2 for 1 up to 9 pm. When the waiter asked if we would like another we realised it was a few minutes after 9. Asked if happy hour still applied and was told no. Wondering why he waited until just after 9 when our glasses had been empty for a short while.... Anyway, we decided to order from their gin menu instead. Our first choice was unavailable so made our second choice and asked for doubles. After 10 minutes the waiter reappeared to say they only had enough of our second choice for singles. He said they were having a delivery the following day. The next day we thought we would pop in again. Asked for one of the gi on the menu, it was still unavailable so asked for our second choice( same as the previous evening) only to be informed after 10 minutes that it was unavailable too. What a shame that two of their better gins on the menu were out of stock and all they had to offer were fairly standard gins. Surely they must have a stock control system or perhaps they should consider sending a staff member to the local Waitrose which was only 100 metres away! A disappointing finish to an otherwise lovely day. Don’t rush here if you plan on drinking gin.

I stayed recently whilst on business in London and ate here. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Food had a good selection and I chose the mozzarella chicken which was nice. Drinks are expensive at over ten pounds for a glass of wine. I was about to return to my room, being female I’m not too comfortable sitting in a bar by myself, however the pianist began to play and it was so lovely it completely relaxed me so I stayed longer. Unfortunately the hotel also attracts tourists and there were some obnoxious Canadians in the bar heckling people for not clapping enough?? So I returned to my room.

I en djungel av erbjudanden på afternoon tea valde vi denna som verkade trevlig men ändå var billig. Utifrån priset förväntade vi oss en ganska liten mängd mat, men tvärtom orkade vi knappt äta upp! Särskilt generöst med desserter. Förutom imponerande mat var lokalen mysig och servicen bra (vi hade specialönskemål om vegetariskt och det löste de fint). Går gärna dit igen nästa gång jag är i London!

I had booked a table for 3 people for 9pm. In a footnote I did inform the Resturant that we could be delayed due to the face we were attending the Service of remembrance at the RAH. We were running late by 40 minutes, but as the booking site claimed you could make a reservation up until 23.30hrs we thought we would be okay. Sadly note We arrived to be greeted by a very abrupt waitress saying that we were late, and claimed to have tried to call us twice on my mobile number.A lie as there was no record of any phonically to my number. We were told that the kitchen closes at 22.00hrs. Pointing out it was 21.45 we still had time. She would check with the chef! As she did so a table of 10 people arrived, who were all residents of the hotel that the restaurant is connected to and had also just arrived back from the RAH. With reluctance and poor attitude we were informed the chef would take our order if we were quick. We placed our two course order thinking we could now enjoy our meal. Our starter arrived and before we had finished our main order was placed on the table. I informed the waitress that as she could see we hadn't finished so could she please remove the main course back to the kitchen. Sorry No the kitchen is closed, but the table of 10 were still sat down waiting to receive their meal! So how could the kitchen be closed? We were made to feel a total inconvenience. I checked with the website which stated that at any day I could make a booking up to 23.30hrs. Enough was enough. I went to the manager at the hotel reception. Although very sorry there was nothing she could actually do. Pointing out that the Resturant closes at 22.00hrs. I showed her the booking site ! to prove she was wrong. I asked for the bill as I had had enough of the appalling service. When I was presented with the bill they were trying to charge my 9% service charge!!!!!!!!!!! I returned the bill to the waitress asking if she was "kidding" as her service was appalling. I explained I wanted the bill corrected without the service charge by this time she had the look as though she was chewing a mouthful of lemons. I eat regularly in the city but have never ever received such poor service. The only reason I chose this restaurant was because it was close to the RAH and close to the hotel my friends were staying at. I would like to point out the food was acceptable. The other table of 10 were served their meal at 22.15hrs !

Had afternoon tea there. Excellent selection and great price if staying at the Park Intl Hotel. Nice finger sandwiches and desserts. Great tea.

We went early and it was nice and quiet but don't be fooled this is a lovely place to eat. The scallop appetizer was very good as was the rack of lamb. Staff attentive without being intrusive. I would gladly eat there again and highly recommend it

Stayed at the Park International Hotel and was delighted to have a really nice eatery on site. Menu was with many options and the 4 times we ate there, we had 4 excellent meals

First of all, the menu comes with quite a surprise, as there is nothing in the decor,itself, the hotel lobby, or the Bar area, indicating that the Checkmate a Thai restaurant, which is somehow quite strange, considering the high standards , the quality and the authenticity of the Thai food served there. The welcome is friendly and professional, and the asterisks in front of each dish on the menu are explicit enough to reassure the non connoisseurs and help them identify their type, composition and their level of spice when making their choice. Undoubtedly, the Thai food is the star of the menu, although it proposes as well a page with a few british and international dishes .

booked a table for our 1st wedding anniversary recently. A lovely welcome drink if bubbly which was a nice touch..so thank you. The restaurant was quite empty..but it was early about 6pm. My main meal of jumbo prawns with glass noodles was very disappointing . Not much flavour and I found the prawns hard to eat..they were in their shells and buried under the noodles. I just gave up..however my husbands meal was lovely apparently. I must say the staff were brilliant, courteous and polite. We don't have to pay for my meal and were offered free deserts, which were very nice. So a mixed review.

Kleine familiäre Bar, mit den besten Fish'n'Chips in Town. Deswegen die 3 Punkte. Alles andere oft zum Vergessen: entweder Personal, welches alle 3 min. nachfragt, ob man nochwas zu trinken haben möchte (obwohl das Glas Pint noch halb voll ist), oder aber es kommt gar keiner (obwohl das Glas eine ganze Zeit lang leer vor einem steht).

Recientemente fuimos a Londres, su estancia en el Marriott Kensington. Caminamos cada día pasado inexorable sentencia resonará en nuestro camino hacia y desde la estación de metro, así que nos detuvimos en una noche para la cena.

Lovely romantic restaurant with very good Thai food, great salads and good fish. We enjoyed the piano player and his American tunes. Service was very good.

The CheckMate restaurant is small, fun decor, attentive staff and the food was great. The menu is small but had something for everyone. I had the vegetarian spring rolls and Pad Thai and it was delicious.

Service was efficient and professional. Maria, Anna and Clarissa were also happy, friendly and engaging. After busy days of sight-seeing they brightened our evenings. Thank you to them.

Hat alles was man sich von einer Hotelbar erwünscht. Der Musiker (Tim Owen) was Spitzenklasse. Happy Hour gibt's auch.

Siamo venuti diverse volte in questo locale per un drink dopo aver finito di lavorare (molto comodo per noi che finiamo tardi e lavoriamo a pochi minuti da qui). Non male la scelta dei drinks, torneremo sicuramente in futuro

we used this restaurant whilst staying at the hotel attached to it . its a lovely little place with a great atmosphere . the staff are really friendly and attentive , always on the go . The food was good and came out in a reasonable time . we had friends come and meet us for the evening , and had a nice nice sat there having a few drinks . we did notice the next day that we had been charged for drinks we didn't have , so quick email to the restaurant and it was sorted with a refund and an apology as quick as a flash . can ask for more than that . we will definitely use this restaurant again . well done to all .

The fish and chips are yummy. Delicious salmon and juicy cheeseburger to name a few. If you love your cocktails, 2 for the price of 1.

I ordered an cosmopolitan which tasted like sugar water, waitress was unfriendly and music was really awful. Never visit again

Aunque el restaurante no estaba lleno, el servicio era lento. La comida era deliciosa y todos en nuestro grupo disfrutamos de sus platos. Música a veces puede ser un poco ruidoso. Las tripulaciones disfrutan de un descuento del 20%.

Tienen un happy hour donde te dan dos bebidas por el precio de 1. Pedí un anticuado y qué desastre que probaba. Barman definitivamente no sabía qué entra en ella. Después de 10 minutos, me dieron dos bebidas. Tenía un montón de club soda. No hay alcohol y nothin llamado bourbon. Yo merecía.

Aparecimos en una bebida por la noche, y había música en vivo (piano) y el hombre. Pedimos una botella de vino y nos cobraron un cargo discrecional 15% servicio y fueron cuestionaron a cuando no pagar el total de la estancia.

Fueron experimentados en una tecnología de vanguardia y un bar guay. El servicio fue muy agradable y encantador. Las camareras y los camareros me cuidaron y mis amigos en todo momento, me sentí muy cómodo. Yo recomendaría a todos a venir a este lugar si estás planeando tener un buen tiempo y tener algo de beber en el centro de Londres.

Drinks are a bit pricey considering other places in the area. It's a nice place to meet before or after a day on the town.

We ate here twice and can recommend it. The surroundings are pleasant and our waiter was very proficient and friendly. The menu has a good choice of Thai and Traditional English food, we sampled both and it was well cooked and presented.

A lovely place to relax in the evening with quality piano and singing. Requests asked for. Drinks prices good with 2-4-1 cocktails available.

Linked to the park international hotel but open to the public, open until 1pm on the Monday I was there , friendly staff, a limited range of beers/ciders but it's a small bar, not a bad place for a few late night drinks but not really lively. Didn't try the food.

Amazing experience, international menu is excellent but the Thai food is some of the best in London. The service is personal and intimate, yet the restaurant is spacious and very comfortable with excellent seating. Safe to say, I am a regular!

CheckMate is a charming and friendly restaurant at the Park International Hotel on Gloucester Road. The atmosphere is wonderful and the décor is great. And the food and drinks are worth a visit! Try the Pad Thai or the Garlic Chicken - equally delicious! The staff are very friendly and chatty and makes sure you are well looked after. Try it :-)

Stumbled across this bar and can honestly say one of the nicest bars we have been in. Reasonable prices for London and decorated to a high standard! Bar staff very hospitable and friendly.

An interesting mix of Thai and European cuisine...had a little of both. The Prawn spring rolls were excellent! It is served with a sweet peanut sauce, but you can also have a very spicy sauce (although the personnel think it is mild). I then had a chicken with mozarella and chips whic was fair. There is a great pianist for the ambiance (pop repertoire) and he has a great voice. Recommended for a quick meal.

It was fun meeting our friends for a great cocktail before heading off to dinner. Great Martinis kept coming. They also gave us complimentary nibbles. Maybe for the amount of drinks we consumed.

Came to this bar to have a nice drink on a Sunday evening with my friend. We weren't acknowledged for around 10 minutes on arrival. Then once we ordered our drinks our bartender proceeded to then leave us and deal with other people and take phone calls/talk to their colleague. We were then told to take a seat and our drinks would be taken over to us. We then waited around 10-15 minutes until our drinks finally arrived. We were then charged £23 for 2 cocktails. This would be fine if the service we got was up to standard, however I felt that we were ignored most of our visit when the bar wasn't even busy, not impressed. Complete waste of money.

Restaurant was located just around the corner from our accommodation so made for an easy last dinner. Quiet for a Saturday night but that suited us as the music was pleasant & the staff had plenty of time for us. Happy hour from 5pm to 9pm with 2 for 1 cocktails so this covered our whole dining period. I've had mojitos all over the world & these were some of the best. The food offering was either Thai or typically British & it was all very good. After 4 mojitos & a sated belly we floated back to our accommodation & a good nights sleep.

We were staying at the attached Park International Hotel and we opted to have our first night meal at CheckMate as we'd be tired and wanting our bed soon after. I reserved online but turning up at 7pm on a Saturday night we were one of only 2-3 other tables in use. The decor is black and white squares, as the name suggests!A large pool of water to the side of our table, apparently possibly caused by a shower in an adjacent room leaking, was a little disconcerting!But the food was delicious and well-presented. We had a mixture of English dishes and Thai dishes amongst our party and I would heartily recommend the restaurant which is priced very reasonably for the area and quality offered. Recommended. Unlimited Apple Pay was available at this restaurant.

My wife and I stopped in for a beer and dinner. The atmosphere was excellent, food was great and service was fantastic. I cannot recommend it any more highly. Well done!

Stayed at the hotel adjacent and was nice to find a hotel bar that actually had some character and thought to our ad opposed to the usual bland affair. Had a cheese burger and fries which arrived well presented with a variety of sauces and was absolutely delicious.

We stayed at this hotel and it was nice to come back from a days sightseeing to relax in the bar. Bar prices were a little expensive but had some nice cocktails.

Fikk nyte både av restauranten og baren her da vi bodde på Park International Hotel. Bestilte hamburger og fikk servert en nydelig hamburger lagd av ordentlig kjøtt, pommes frites i egen frityrkurv og salat på en trefjøl. God service fra alle i betjeningen. De hadde live underholdning med en kvinnelig pianist som skapte en fantastisk stemning med sin vakre stemme. Samboeren min som jeg reiste med ønsket å se en fotballkamp her en kveld og det var ingen problem, de ordnet det. Anbefales både for middag, et par glass vin eller bare en avslappende kveld med livemusikk.

Just a short walk away from the Holiday Inn but with much better prices, better seating, not as noisy and with much better prices. Excellent.

Had dinner with work colleagues and was really impressed with the meal. Good choice / menu, competitive prices, good service and tasty food. Would eat here again no issues at all.

Oh my goodness. I would travel back to London just for this restaurant alone. The decor was amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic. The food... OMG!! The food was to die for. Seriously it was the nicest meal I had had in a long time. It's making my mouth water just thinking about it. They staff couldn't do enough for us. They were friendly and attentive. The food was sooo tasty, full of flavour and very reasonably priced. There was a pianist/singer there on the night we went. It was my birthday so my fiance had requested he played a few songs and give me a little mention (without me knowing) and he did. It made the evening so much more enjoyable. Loved every second of our experience at Checkmate!! Can't wait to go back.

Rientrando in hotel abbiamo deciso di provare anche questo bar e abbiamo avuto la percezione di un ambiente molto gradevole ed intimo. Abbiamo bevuto alcuni drink, godendo di un sottofondo musicale offerto da un bravo pianista. Il tutto a prezzi nella media. Consigliatissimo.

Decor is lovely. Very much for tourists. Nice spot to relax with a drink or 2. Only thing I didn't like was the piano playing an singing. The bar is small so if you want a quiet drink avoid those nights.

If this bar were a 12-year-old kid, it would be the nerdy boy that tries to wear “cool clothes” to blend in with the “cool kids” but just winds up looking like bigger dork. Get what I mean?

This bar was on the side of our hotel, it's got a great vibe with great food and great drinks and even better when it's happy hour. They have a live piano player/singer on a Thursday and Friday night, he is good but far too load for the tiny room and he has a microphone which he doesn't really need. Still a good bar with live entertainment and good price food and drinks for London.

Went here after a long day of sightseeing. Had a great French Merlot (house). Ordered nachos - very different. No cheese but had cucumbers and jalapenos. The baked scallops were okay. They have a piano player who plays in the bar area, and he's pretty goods. But he is waaaaaaay too loud for such a small area and he had a microphone, too.

Ended up sat in a comfy service drinking great value Grolsch and eating delicious Thai food after checking trip advisor and realising the nearby Italian restaurants X were rubbish Highly recommend shared starter platter and pad Thai !

Nous sommes allés souper, car ce restaurant était à proximité de notre Hôtel et qu'il nous avait été recommandé et nous avons adoré nos plats étaient excellents ( poulet sauce épicée et pad thaï avec des entrées de poulet satay et rouleaux de printemps ), aliments frais, goût épicé juste à point et le décor pour un restaurant dans un Hôtel, vraiment très bien.Le seul,point négatif et l'ambiance et le service le pauvre employé était seul pour servir à la fois les clients du bar et ceux de la salle à manger heureusement nous étions peu nombreux .........

My daughter and I stopped at the CheckMate for dinner my last evening in London because it was close to my hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The 2-for-1 happy hour ran until 9:00 p.m. and included several tasty handcrafted cocktails. My daughter's chicken dish was hot and delicious. I enjoyed my pad Thai. After dinner we sat in the comfortable lounge to have an after dinner drink and listen to the live music. The piano player was good.

The food here is nice (very nice fish&chips, good curry) and they serve a good Aperol Spritz. The restaurant area is a bit cold (both in temperature and ambiance), but the bar area is cosy, although we were not a big fan of the very loud piano music.

This restaurant is in Kensington in a hotel. We stumbled on it during our recent trip and found it had good food at reasonable prices. Menu is a mixture of Thai and American. The chef is Thai and does a very good job. Service was also excellent and accommodating to our party of ten even though it is a small place. The live entertainment is a little loud, but bearable and the happy hour is nioce.

We are often going to these Restaurant in Kensinghton, the food is fantastic and the service is very good!!!

Locale scelto perché di fianco all'hotel dove pernottiamo. Molto buio, lunga attesa. Cameriera sgarbatissima che guarda dall'alto in basso . Ci fa accomodare e dovendo subito prendere una terapia ho chiesto l'acqua. Attesa interminabile.. Poiché devo rispettare gli orari ho usato la bottiglietta d'acqua che avevo in borsa versandola nell'unico bicchiere che era a tavola, ovvero un calice da vino. Quando finalmente è' tornata aveva un viso disgustato come se avessi bevuto l'acqua del vaso dei fiori. Il locale sembra elegante ma c'è un ragazzo al piano con la musica altissima , noi non riuscivamo a parlare tra di noi. Arriva il cibo , pesce ben presentato ma ahimè' poco cotto per non dire immangiabile. Non ci torneremo!

Har en mycket bra och prisvärd Afternoon Tea. De serverar middag också från en lämpligt stor meny. Prisvärd mat som smakar bra.

So this was a first date bar - a little find after ice skating at the natural history museum and dinner down that direction, on the way back to the hotel. It was amazing; we got there about 11pm I think, listened to a great pianist and singer live performance, followed by decent jazz music. The drinks were pricy (typical London really) but very tasty - and there's plenty of dark corners if you want to be kissing. I think the best thing about it is the ambience - it's dark, the music is loud (not earsplitting club volume, but loud enough that you lean close to talk) and it feels quite classy, even if, judging by some of the other reviews, the light of day shows up some holes.Did wander through the hotel bit to get to the loo; it looked nice as well.

We had dinner here and enjoyed the atmosphere and the food but the menu was rather limited and the kitchen had a bad hair day that day so service was slow.The thing that surprised me was that the staff could not identify the players in a large photo of a match between two Grand Masters (Spassky -v- Fisher) in the dining room. Shame really when the whole theme of the restaurant is chess.

I stopped here for drinks as I was passing the beer was cold and well presented the staff were polite and welcoming the seating area was very clean and well presented

O ambiente do bar é todo inspirado no jogo de xadrez, o que achei bem interessante. Ele não possui muitas opções diferentes de comida, mas é tudo muito bem feito e saboroso. Alguns dias, ele tem shows ao vivo.

The menu carried a good selection of English and Thai dishes ,we sampled Thai style food which was all well presented satisfying portion sizes and appeared freshly prepared

This bar was in our Hotel and the staff went out of their way to provide us with a delicious cream tea when really we were a little late. The food was lovely and the Tea delicious!

The ambiance is fantastic! The wait staff is very friendly and the piano player is extremely entertaining : ) if you want to relax and have avoid time, this is the place!

Had a great time relaxing and enjoying their Piano Bar. Friendly pianist and he was joined by a lovely female singer with a great voice. He was very entertaining and we enjoyed WiFi, drinks, and appetizers while we listened to some great tunes. A great way to relax and unwind

Cool mix of restaurant, bar and lounge. There are comfy couches to sit on in one area, a bar area, and a formal dining area in another area. The service was not the fastest, but I was relaxed on the couch. We ordered the appitizer sampler. It had spring rolls, tempera vegies, crisps, calamari, satay chicken, two dipping sauces. Tasty and hit the spot with my Guiness. Don't go if you are in a major hurry. Where we were sitting in the lounge area, the music was a tad loud. I found the variety of dining experiences delightful though. My teenaged kids enjoyed sitting on a couch and munching.

My partner and I had a voucher for "tea and champagne" bought as a present. She duly booked the date, I took a day's leave, we travelled up to London (British rail - no small cost), arrived at the appointed time, hungry and thirsty. Surprise! No tea and champagne, the kitchen was being deep cleaned (wonder why?). Presumably at short notice. They said they had tried to ring us a number of times they day before. My partner had actually received 2 calls in a minute, from an unknown number, with no message left. I can't think why they didn't have the imagination to send a text message. Their efforts and competence at avoiding the situation that arose were poor. And they had no plan for what to do with us when we arrived. As we;d been travelling for 2 hours on a hot day, they offered us a cup of tea, which we had in the checkmate bar, which frankly was playing music far too loud for the number of people in there - namely, us 2.Cost to us in fares £50, plus annual leave 1 day, plus the cost of the present itself. Result - a cup of tea each. And the chance to come back for tea in September (we had to negotiate to get the eligible period extended and to get this confirmed in writing.)Rather than resort to Trip Advisor public rebuke, I thought it would be best to lodge my views on their "contact us" web page. This brought another phone call the following day. Lots of apologies, plus we could get a refund - BUT Not from them - we could try getting a refund from Amazon Local. Like, as if this was Amazon's fault??In simple terms, the waiter who dealt with us was apologetic, but the tea experience wasn't nice, and the attitude of the company appears to be "if it goes wrong, we can offer lots of aplogies at least we've got their money."I don't doubt they were sorry at the junior level, As far as I'm concerned they've now had their chance to put it right as an organisation and decided that they won't or can't, so maybe if their senior management sees this for the first time on Trip Advisor it might make them think a bit more about their company culture. Not that I guess they care very much as long as they've got the cash.My advice to others - if you are walking past, look in, but definitely don't go out of your way.

I would strongly recommend no one to pay money for the afternoon tea available at park international hotel.I went here to celebrate my birthday with a couple of cousins, the location and the room is beautiful, can't fault that. However, it took them 30 minutes to even come and address us at our table, once we were seen to we then were given champagne. The champagne which was in wine glasses, I had a look around to see if that was the 'norm' for the hotel, but no we were the only ones with wine glasses for champagne. After waiting another 45 minutes we were then given our afternoon tea. Halfway through, we realised that we were never given tea which is just shocking. I went to the waitress to ask (the same waitress which I had to ask for sandwiches and scones, the normal things you expect from afternoon tea), she then rudely rolled her eyes and said she'll be with me shortly. Then a couple of minutes later she arrived at our table asking if we wanted tea, once our food was finished. We then had to ask her which teas were available, which we shouldn't have to ask. 5 minutes later we were then given the tea. Throughout this whole experience we were faced with rude waiters and waitresses, this was only when they were around as each time I needed something I had to get up and find them, which is not what you expect when you pay such high prices. I've been to many places for afternoon tea, prices ranging from £7-£55 pp and I can confidently say I wouldn't even pay £0.10 for afternoon tea at this location.

No dia 25 de dezembro quase nada funciona em Londres. Como o restaurante estava aberto, fizemos nossa ceia de Natal nele. A comida é boa, mas não peça os pratos tailandeses se não gosta de muita pimenta. O diferencial é a decoração, muito bonita.

Went there last week around 6pm, and got to enjoy best happy hour in London. Prices were extremely affordable, plus we got to enjoy quality live piano music and very friendly, smiling staff. Also we had a sharing platter to have with our drinks and were not left disappointed. Food was very delicious.Don't understand previous comment about unused piano, as professional pianist was playing all night, and we sure stayed late. Also he takes song requests that made our night special. Would recommend this bar to anyone who enjoys good drinks, great music, quality atmosphere.

I have arranged a few work drinks here and it never disappoints. Staff are helpful and nice. Great to be able to sit down in London at peak hours on comfortable sofas and enjoy happy hour prices on a good quality very drinkable Spanish white wine! Love the decor and flooring. The piano playing is a nice touch but can be a little loud if you are looking for an intimate chatty evening. But I certainly reccommend checking this bar out.

Ok, I just gave them one start because i had no option,but they don't even deserve it.This is not a bar, its a beautiful room with an alcohol licence and laud music depending of how "happy" the staff are, such potencial being wasted here because the place its actually wonderful for a coctkail bar, severely under trained staff.I went 5/6 times and i saw a mouse every single day running under the beautiful un-used piano,it wouldn't be a problem for me if I have a good drink in my hand, but they have not clue about classic cocktails.

Disappointing. Having had a pot of tea plonked in front of me, I then had to ask for a tea cup. The savoury selection was too paltry. On leaving, I said goodbye to the receptionist who was miles away.

the bar is poorly light and not a lot of seating available.over priced soft drinks. the staff are not to helpful.
