Ciertamente no es lo que esperaba de un hotel Marriott en términos de servicio o valor por dinero. Aparcamiento muy difícil conseguir un espacio en.

En vez de caminar a un pub en el clima lúgubre, decidimos comer aquí. Me impresionó la gran (~60) colección de whiskys de malta. El 25 ml sabor sirve le permite a uno pocos - y no tener que volver a casa! Yo tenía una hamburguesa y patatas fritas. Recomendables!

El almuerzo fue agradable, un poco caro y el servicio un poco lento, pero no estábamos apurados, nos da la oportunidad de conversar y ponerse al día, el personal es muy amable, incluso nos permitió probar la sopa ya que no éramos Seguro que nos gustaría. resulta que fue encantador y pedimos un tazón cada uno. compartí un sándwich juntos ya que era enorme, habría sido demasiado para una persona

Es más concurrido que la mayoría de chats con bares de fútbol (soccer) en las pantallas de cada noche y música en vivo viernes y sábado. El personal es alegre y relajado - puede pasar el rato en una sola bebida sin presión. La familia. La conexión wifi está disponible en esta zona. Las bebidas son un poco caras, pero dentro de las expectativas.

If not busy working and ordering room service, pop down and eat in the bar, there are the old favourites, burger,fish n chips etc. They do bring in specials on a regular basis,currently main paired with a beer. Interesting,good interesting.

The food was very good. My wife said the fish and chips were excellent and I had the chicken sandwich. It was not what I expected it was sliced chicken breast on wheat bread but it was very tasty. It was just different from the US. Service was good and tap water was fine to drink. We were here before the restaurant opens. I would recommend fo in between meal.

We wanted a quick snack before heading to a show at the SECC, having had a large meal in town earlier. The bar offering in the Marriott was exactly what we wanted - we had the flat breads which were very tasty but I thought the pricing was way over the top for what you get. It's a nice little bar area with little nooks to sit in and a good selection of drinks/whiskies etc on offer. All in all a good place for a quick bite - we were well looked after by friendly staff. Pricing is my only negative.

The waiters here are awesome. They are chatty, fun and give good service. We have come in every night of our vacation for a stop.

This Marriott has a great atmosphere around the lounge bar area which is very big There's always a buzz about the place & they sometimes set it out for kids during the day/early evening with bean bags floor cushion & toys. There are USB charging ports next to every sofa & free WiFi. Bar meals aren't too badly priced for a hotel of its calibre & tasty too!!

Great quality food with excellent service, lovely clean area and some local produce. Fantastic choice at breakfast

Visited this hotel with 13 other family members for the weekend, and after visiting the bar area to have a few drinks and food on the sat evening to say we were shocked by the attitude of the bar staff is an understatement. Asking for anything seems to be a real chore for them, just plan bad manners all round, especially the bar man with the long ginger beard. His attitude was verging on abusive. One of my family members put his room Numer on the drinks round instead of the one room that we had been putting everything on and he marched across the floor to our table and basically said that he was trying to get away with paying and demanded to be paid in cash. His attitude was disgraceful and this was after my family spending £500 over the evening on food and drink. Will never be back

Had lunch in the cafe, was very nice but expensive. Limited choice on the menu and had to wait quite a while on being served!!

GREAT staff, nice seating, with plenty of room to move and many private areas and fireplace! LOVED IT!

Overall I was pretty disappointed with the menu. It was convenient so I stopped by instead of going out, but I wish I would have walked a couple of blocks. The servers were nice, but the menu was very limited. If you are staying in the area I recommend going elsewhere for dinner, then coming here for a few drinks.

sorry but they don't know how to make proper ceaser salad or nachos in traditional way. staff are lovely and friendly

The staff really make a difference here. They are very pleasant and attentive but not intrusive. This is a very relaxed space serving good food too!

The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, with the bar offering arm chairs or normal restaurant seating.The drinks selection is good, and the bar offers a variety of small to medium sized meals, all of which are well prepared and presented.Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent surroundings. Food good. Service very good. Definite Marriott feel to it. Great place to recuperate from the day.

Looked to me like the guy licked his fingers and handled money without washing his hands between that and pouring beer.

I was served a pasta dish that had most definitely been microwave cooked, it was very disappointing, looked and tasted like a ready meal. I saw what the person to the side of me was served, and he too seemed to have been served a similar dish - only arranged slightly differently, so don't think my meal was a one off. The service however was very good, attentive and polite. Should have tried the restaurant part of the hotel maybe rather than this part, the bar side.All in all, I think it is what it is - just a hotel bar serving food, I'm sure it's more for socialising than a food destination so if you're needing something quick and functional it'll be fine.

Nice atmosphere, great feel. Food is good. I ate here twice, had the fish and chips and the burger. Both were very good. The service was prampt and very freindly. It wasn't too busy so it was easy to get a table.

We sat down for lunch after an exasperating weekend. We chose the club sandwich and thought that was the easiest and simplest ..... it was rubbish ....... cold toast, no salad, no chips and it looked like someone had just chucked a handful of crisps on the top.

Smooth, efficient service - coffees served with a genuine smile, nice range of seats including sofas to sink into or if you want a firmer more upright posture more standard table and chairs.

The hotel is pretty good if it's for free or on Tesco vouchers.The bar ain't cheap and it's made worse by the table service staff who deliberately don't take your money/bring you change because they want a tip.It's not the principle, it's the money.No tip, fella.Worth mentioning the Americans trying to work out how to eat fish and chips.

My cousin and I had enjoyed a spa treatment and headed to the bar in the Mariott for afternoon tea.(The afternoon tea itself was fine.)As a treat, my cousin ordered a bottle of prosecco. The girl who served us was very apologetic as we would have a slight delay since it was being brought up from some distant store. Fine, we thought, we can wait 5 mins. When it duly arrived, it popped loudly and we anticipated that first mouthful of chilled bubbles...except the bubbles weren't chilled, weren't even cold. I'm not a wine snob but I know when I'm being conned and £35 for a bottle of warm bubbles was not impressive.I always believe in speaking directly to the establishment rather than complaining online, so we alerted the server to our dissatisfaction with the temperature of the wine. She told us the other bottles were just the same, and that she would take ours and put it in the fridge to try to chill it down. And there is my problem - why did she serve something she knew to be sub-standard? Why not simply say that unfortunately, there was no suitably chilled prosecco available? That would still have been a pretty damning state of affairs for a hotel of this level, but less disappointing than our experience. We tried again when another server asked if everything was ok and were aghast at her attitude, which was basically that it was above her pay grade. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there would not be one available until after 5pm (it was currently just after 2pm). I found that difficult to believe but by that time just wanted to escape the place and get to a bar where they knew how to serve drinks correctly. I wouldn't have thought that that was too much to expect from the Mariott. We certainly won't be back.

Not cheap but food good and service excellent. Will be back again. There is a good mixture of seating available. Low sofas to chairs and tables.

I've never been a big fan of hotel food and especially bar food, but the food here is just fantastic. The staff were excellent and as good as you would get in most restaurants plus the food tasted great and was very good value. I'd definitely eat here again and would recommend it highly.
