Firstly I don't like doing this however we stopped on our way to Devon for a bacon and egg bap..which took well over a hour to get and our coffee if my partner had not asked for I think we would still be there..there was only 3 other couples there in total two infront of us..she made every breakfast individually including the drinks I feel sorry for the people in front of us still waiting for there drink...all 3 couples were complaining to eachother about the wait but being british we just waited..they were told when they asked for it after waiting longer than us I am cooking now will do it next...service is hard to give even one star..I would have preferred to be told that we would have had to wait over a hour for a bap then I certainly would not have stayed..I think the lady concerned cannot do more than one thing at once...we were so close to asking for our money back so we could go elsewhere but I have read on here that someone did this and she declined to give it....if you are reading this I advise that you let customer know before you take their money of how long it takes you to serve...we have better things to do than sit on a very hot bus waiting for a bap

Came to the bus today to have a nice breakfast and waited nearly an hour for 2 full breakfast and still the order was cocked up and toast dropped on the floor. Shelia was clearly unable to keep up with orders even though it wasn’t busy. We told Shelia we wasn’t waiting any longer and wanting a refund and was refused. I advise people not to bother going and waste time or money!!

We stopped here on the way back from a few days in Cornwall. You can’t miss the bus as you pull in to the petrol station forecourt. We had some lovely bacon sandwiches and a coffee. Our cook / server was super friendly and funny, lovely to chat to. We sat upstairs which added to the experience. There are some delicious sounding milkshakes on the menu which I didn’t try. Maybe next time.

A double decker red bus....come on what a fab place to stop! Had driven past often and nearly always missed the chance to pull in.... Managed it this time and we had bacon and egg butties, all good and tasty. Coffee OK and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. Well-placed for a quick stop as you travel back up country.

Travelling up to Northampton we found this great place to eat. We had seen it many times. Well, the food was freshly cooked. The 5 inch burger was so good. Cooked to perfection. Chips were not available as the fryer had broken down. The waitress was happy to microwave chips from the Spar next door. We said no when we saw the size of the burger!! I am not a burger fan, but this diner is the place to go, it surpassed all other high street diners. The menu was amazing. It even had vegetable curry and chicken curry. Looked good. I cannot say enough how brilliant it was. It does not open weekends so plan your trip Monday friday. Great venue, hot tasty food, a must see.

If you're passing through Cornwall, make sure to stop at this lovely diner (And even if you're not travelling to Cornwall, plan a visit anyway even it its just to eat at Charlie Browns!) So, the short version is my Husband and I loved eating our lunch in this quirky and fun retro American Diner on a double decker London bus! Fantastic staff, tasty and good value food and drinks and lovely locals! It was one of the highlights of our trip! The longer version... My Husband and I were looking for lunch and pulled into a service station for a sandwich or similar, when to our delight and excitement, we saw Charlie Browns double decker London bus diner! A lovely black and white cow statue wearing a fetching red waistcoat and eating an ice cream (why not?) stands proudly outside. Inside, the bus is like a tardis! I have no idea how they managed to fit a kitchen and stools downstairs (yes, I know, by removing the seats, but you know what I mean!) Upstairs, some of the seats have been kept, with tables inserted. There's also an American Diner vibe with a black and white tiled floor and stools with seats made to look like Coca Cola bottlenose! The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The staff and fellow customers felt like friends by the time we left! And the food! All freshly made, cooked to order and extremely good value! My Husband and I had a lovely bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich with thick, handcut bread and chips! All very tasty. I also indulged in a frothy chocolate milkshake made with Cornish ice cream! The menu also offered huge hot dogs with lots of toppings, breakfast baps and more. A selection of hot and cold drinks, crisps and sweet treats were also on offer. I think you might have guessed already, but my Husband and I love Charlie Browns and hope to return one day. Highly recommended! I would give all the stars! Amazing and so much fun

Me and my husband ate here for the first time during the Aug bank holiday weekend this year. The food was fantastic and the staff were really friendly and pleasant. I still have dreams about their cajun chicken wings. They also had a special cocktail menu which were really tasty and strong. We ordered 2 cocktails, 2 starters and 2 mains (one of which was sirloin steak) and the total came up to about 50£. It was well worth the money. Next time we go to Eastbourne, this is definitely going to be a stop for us.

Really novel idea. Bus being driven by Marilyn Monroe on the way North Bound. Had to turn around to visit this place. Just look out for the massive hotdog. Seriously though, great burgers, nice staff. Friendy greeting from staff and followers. Great value for money. It's different and very much worth a visit.

Always a friendly greeting, great service, great burgers (and hot dogs according to my grandsons) and most importantly, great value for money! We always sit upstairs as the decor is fun, we always seem to find something new to read on the tables that we haven't noticed before (you'll have to go and see for yourself to see what I mean), and the whole place is always clean yet somehow cosy. Whoever thought sitting upstairs on a bus parked by a petrol station on the A30 dual carriageway could feel cosy!!

We’d left our campsite heading on a long journey home. We stumbled across this cafe and it did not disappoint!! We both agreed it was the nicest breakfast we’d ever had!! The portion size was good and it was beautifully cooked. The toast was amazing! It’s toast, how did she make it so nice?? Looking forward to our next trip to Cornwall to go again!

I first saw this bus five years ago and am delighted to see that it is now in operation as a diner exactly as envisaged by the lovely chap I spoke to then. Today, I stopped only for coffee in British summer weather (!) but also had another chat with the nicest people. My two photographs below show you what was and what it became. I wish every success to the delightful people who run this special diner.

Absolutely Superb little Diner. Pleasant staff. Good food. Great conversion of double decker bus into a diner. Ignore the scruffy surroundings. Plenty of parking. Great Stop off going East home from Cornwall. We will definitely return.

I can not rate this place enough. The converted big red double decker bus is the ultimate diner experience. We had plenty of parking for our posse of caravans and motor homes after our weeks holidaying in beautiful Cornwall. The food, all local produce, was delicious. The service by the friendly staff was unbeatable and it was so immaculately clean that it was easy to see why they have a maximum 5 star rating from Environmental health, proudly shown off by their certificate on the wall. We were also very lucky on the day that we stopped because the Corvette Club Cornwall and Devon were there for their monthly Car Club Brunch. There was a great selection of cars and it really put the “cherry on the cake”... or rather, “breakfast in the wrap”.

Make sure you don’t drive by and miss this place. Food was delicious and the owners/staff were very friendly. My dad and I both enjoyed chatting with them.Breakfast baps and coffee was delicious. If you get a minute go upstairs and take in the view of the moors. Quite relaxing.

Our taxi had a puncture right near this place at lunchtime, and then we saw Charlie Brown’s Double Decker Diner, and what a spot of luck that was! I had a delicious cooked breakfast and my partner said the bacon-burger was tasty too, and all of that with a Diet Coke for a tenner! Really friendly owner too - it was sunny so we sat outside but upstairs has a neat little diner - very cosy and with views across the A30 looking over the countryside. All in all, a great spot

Delightful folk running a spotless diner on the A30 - order a bacon bap and it comes generously loaded with top class bacon - a must visit on fishing trip nearby. Heartily recommend a visit and I'm sure children would love the originality. Hats off to the family who run it I have stopped numerously and theres always a friendly welcome.

Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday, what a fantastic find!! Funky and quirky vegan cafe. Loved the layout and decor. Best chai latte ever. Absolutely gorgeous tofu tacos, and the squash salad was sooo tasty. It’s dog friendly too!! Young lady was on her own front of house, and the cafe was full, she was run off her feet, but she was brilliant - well done!! Now top of our list for lunching in Mousehole!

They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.

We found our way to Freathy Farmhouse Cafe by following a sign from Whitsand Bay. What a lovely find! Very rustic and charming cafe. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed very generous sandwiches served with delicious salad. Some of us even managed cake! We will definitely return although I understand it is best to check opening times. Ps Loved the decor in the loo!
