First time ordering from Charcoal Grill. Ordered the Chicken Donner Kebab and Mixed Chicken & Donner Kebab. Tried with garlic and chilly sauce. Both kebabs tasted good and the sauces were ok. Will order again

I ordered some food from the Charcoal Grill in Maidstone. My order was Meat and Chips, A Donar Kebab and also an extra portion of chips. My delivery was delivered on time, the delivery driver was very efficient and polite. All of the food was still hot on arrival, well packaged and the order was correct. All of the food was very well proportioned and also the food was cooked very well and was really tasty. The price of the food was very reasonable. I will definitely be ordering from The Charcoal Grill again.

I'm a regular customer. Or was. I look forward to my kebab treat each week. Well this bunch of muppets have ruined it. Ordered at 5pm for 7pm delivery. Plenty of time to get it right. Oh no! No pitta with the kebab. No pickled chilli's despite asking for them on the phone. Half a pot of hummus for £4.50. I called, the girl wanted to know how they could resolve it! By sending what I ordered, and have paid for!! Simple. Eventually spoke to the manager, who was previously 'too busy'. They sent another, in exchange for the previous. Guess what! No chilli's! And the chips previously delivered were now stone cold. I called them back and was told 'we're not serving you. You've been horrible'. Oh isn't that rich. Not as horrible as your sh/T service!! Happy to take my money, not prepared to write stuff down! Never again. No wonder the reviews lag way behind others. Shame. Chilli sauce is good, but the rest is no good for your mental wellbeing. I hate businesses that don't care.

Excellent food and quick service.

Food was delivered hot and plenty of it. We were very happy with our order of lamb shish and chicken shish wrap - fresh and tasty. Good value for money also. I put 3 stars for service just because we waited an hour for delivery on a Thursday eve and would have liked a shorter wait time. Otherwise will definitely order again!

Order took hour and half turned up, cold and wrong order. When tried to ring back wouldn't even pick up phone. Worst kebab ever.

Sent the wrong food twice, rude, tried to blame their mistakes on us even though I told him to listen to the phonecall back we didn’t order it, arguing about sending the money back

I ask for a large kebab get a small food was cold discusting when I rung told him he put the phone down no one should go there it’s poor service and poor food

Honestly, one of the best kebab shops in the Maidstone area. Very underrated place. I had most of the food on the menu and every time I had a great experience. Staff are brilliant here. Would visit when I'm in the Maidstone area and craving kebab.

Just paid £30 for 2 mixed kebabs delivered absolute waste of money! Was basically 2 small chicken kebabs with a tad of donner on the side very disappointed won't be ordering from here again

Got told Order was on its way. when called to see were order was was told order was send back because delivery driver said buzzer didn’t work and couldn’t get in flats total lie I run down and pressed buzzer while on the phone to prove the lie then got complete rudeness and order was cancelled when I told them 4 kids was waiting awful service got phone put down and no delivery will be made as there busy

Ordered off their own website and received 10% discount, which was a nice surprise. Checked on Just Eat for rough delivery times (I didn't notice any on times on their site, so used this for an estimate) and it arrived far quicker than I expected. The prices are pretty standard for a typical kebab house, however the portions are very big (I definitely have left over for lunch tomorrow). I had an amazing chicken shish wrap, fresh salad, great flavour and it was absolutely huge! Had to use both hands to hold it! Husband seems very happy with his kebab also, the only minor thing, which is just his opinion, is that the chilli sauce was not particularly hot. Will definitely order from here again.

Ordered through Deliveroo. Kebabs arrived. Massive dirty hair in it. Absolutely vile, thrown them both in the bin. Unable to get a refund through Deliveroo. Won’t be using either again. Definitely a question mark over the food hygiene.

So sheet...i order 2 burgers and delivered just 1..and they didn't refund me or give another.very unfriendly staff

Got food poisoning from this place when im halfway through my pregnancy luckily me and bump are ok & my partner had no sauce in his burger but a lovely strand of hair absolutely disgusted

Got a chicken kebab here, it was okay, but didn't sit well. Later learned this place scored a very low, 1 out of 5 for food safety and hygiene. Avoid.

I used to love this place but the previous two times food has been late and cold, and this time I complained about it and was promised a replacement meal which 5 hours and numerous calls later still hasn't arrived. I do not recommend what so ever the manager is very rude just hanging up the phone and shouting at his staff in the background who really did want to help.

Do not order from this place if you want your food this year, I could have ordered from the moon and got it quicker, when you chase them up they just keep saying its on its way, I live 10 minutes away and it took over an hour to arrive from the first time I chased them. I would have picked the food up if I had been told it would take 2 hours to deliver. Please be honest with your customers. Just discovered that this place has a hygiene rating of 1. Never again.

Great Chicken shish however their fish and chips option taste disgusting. I've ordered this on 2 seperate occasion now and will never order their FISH ever again. The batter is horrible, hardly any fish inside the batter, fish feels like rubber (must have deep fried from frozen). Once again chicken shish and salad taste amazing just avoid the FISH!

Great Lamb shish and Kofte, chicken shish special is good and decent chips to boot. Well worth a look in. Delivery via website usually at the time stated at checkout

Ordered online said 55 minutes 2hours later till food arrived no apology when food was delivered. Plus side when it did arrive it was hot and nice.

Ordered takeaway through Just Eat. It never arrived. Just Eat and Charcoal Grill acknowledged the mistake but BOTH refused me a refund blaming each other. Dishonest restaurant that took my money in return for nothing. Pay cash or risk them just taking your money.

It's ok first times you go there, but everytime I came back the portions got smaller and smaller they stopped giving some of the salads and jelapenos etc.. Disappointed, getting my kebabs elsewhere

Ordered twice first time messed up order by covering it in sauce not asked for the second time given thr benefit of the doubt ordered again asking for extra salad only to have the order turn up with just about a pinch of salt on it. Called to complain to be met by rude staff telling me salad will come. Meal totally mess up due to another error on their part. Simple intrusions clearly not followed .

Just ordered 2x mixed meat doner chips and salad which was so disgusting I couldn’t even eat it. The doner was over cooked and salty. The chicken well what chicken it was so hard and dry (the bits I could find)! and the chips were Luke warm in fact the only thing that was edible was the salad 🥗 🤮🤮🤮

Absolutely DISGUSTING service and RUDE staff. I ordered through just eat and paid by card. Food arrived late with some missing. I rang and was told it would be sent out. Over an hour later I rang to find out why it hadn't arrived to be told it was going to be another hour. Told them not to bother as is was already 11pm. Restaurant said they would credit us for next time as we had already paid. Just rang to order only to be charged full price. Explained the situation and was told I am an "idiot" and that they owed me nothing!!!!! Won't EVER order from these robbing swines ever again and will be telling all of my friends that use them regularly not to either! Take money and don't give the goods!!! DISGRACEFUL!

Fantastic turned up when we was told it would turn up, food was piping hot and very good quailty we had a lamb and a chicken donner both very good and the chips we're great, best I've had in Maidstone thus far will deffintly use again thanks very much.

discusting not fresh products never fash hands, touch everything around including themselves then touching your food which tastes so bad. only for drunk people this can be ok prices too high as well. if health inspection comes there to see how they work they will be closed down straight way. do not recommend.

My husband went in to order and stood for a about 10 mins. When the servers decided to actually serve they completely ignored my husband and started to take peoples orders that had came into the shop after him. In the end he asked if he was invisible and they just looked at him so he walked out.
