Wendy's in Maidstone

I had to pop into one of these Wendy's American fast food chains , which were scattered across UK. The atmosphere didn't seem the worst on ground floor, food was pretty nice. However a let down was the cleanliness, some trays all around tables, paper cups on the floor too. Overall, everything was decent only if it was not very dirty here.

They are the best burger company ever in the country And There food is always fresh And their taste has never changed.Because I used to work for them in new zealand in 2007 And I used to always eat their food and it was better than all the other burger bars in the country.So please bring one nearer to me if you can.I live in margate I went to the maidstone store from ian

Just awful. Food was bland and tasteless, fatty and greasy and frankly overpriced for mass-produced burgers. I regret making the decision to go there.

Food was great & Fatou served me on till such an amazing lady she is so friendly & polite. Will definitely come back. She made our visit great

Newly opened ,so the team or still trying gel but all of the were friendly and welcoming and very capable of producing a good product. Easy access for wheelchairs but I think the tables are all high from memory. We have had Wendy's in the States, so we were keen to try it and was not disappointed. Very clean both sides of the counter .Ordering can be done via a touch screen,but staff a willing to work the till aswell. Food was very good with plenty of flavour but take care ,very filling. Fries were clean and not oilily, Solid not limp . Overall, it's a lot better than most and we will go again.

Under staffed for the time of day they could not cope . The food was not worth what I paid . The food and cost a lot better in the states

Everything was cold and missed a item. Not great

The food was cold the chocolate Frosties were actually a quarter of a cup of brown liquid. The chicken wrap was cold and slimy.

Ordered a delivery today, brilliant food don’t order from here often as it is a spenny treat but I do love it. When I have been inside the restaurant the staff have been lovely and was clean

I placed the order at 18:00 and it didn’t arrive until 19:50 after which I had tried to call the restaurant 3 times to which I had no answer I will definitely not be ordering from here again it ruined mine and my partners night off and we do not want to eat here again after this terrible first experience

Normally like Wendy's and the food was still decent but a few things. One: There was a pile of used trays upstairs stacked up which was the reason for "the lack of trays". We had to eat out of the paper bag. Two: You had to go to the counter for ketchup because the dispenser was all out. Three: Food and straws everywhere. The chips on the stairs were cleared within 15-20 mins of arrival but the place just felt a little bit unlooked-after. Would get food again but better cleanliness please.

Terrible service, staff wearing no hair nets, hair in there faces, leaning in the counter looking at there phone, drink machine had broken so no drinks, no signs to let customers know this before ordering, run out of lettuce and other burger fillings, chicked tasted like it had been sat under heat for hours. Staff need to be trained. Total let down.

Well after the reviews we were in two kinds about going here. BUT after seeing most of them were via different delivery apps! Seen at most restaurants that the delivery companies destroy their reviews 🙈 But we had a good visit and the food was nice not one issue nice food and nice service 👍🏼

Ordered four meals with frostys but had 4 iced coffees delivered. Food was average at best and fairly cold despite only being 10min drive from delivery address. Overall very disappointing and will unlikely order again

Ordered through an app, the my spicey chicked burger, baconator fries and luke warm Americano arrived quickly. This is my first and more than likely last Wendy's, the spicey burger with cooling salad, tasted nice with a little spice, but the cooling salad was an iceberg leaf that barely covered the burger. The bun was wrinkly and flat. But even worse than that was the cheesy bacon fries, or the baconator fries, I have never seen anything so stomach churning, they come in a sealed tub which had condensation dripping from the inside, the fries were limp and looked like they had been sweating. They were held together with congealed cheese and topped with scabby bacon chunks, it would not look out of place in a hospital except there was no chance of it being revived.

Food arrived on time and piping hot. Tasted great, good portion sizes and very good value for what you get.

The food was very good, little on the pricey side but I'd definitely say it's worth it everything tasted very fresh and the burger was very juicy. The staff members here are really nice and friendly the service was also fast and efficient even when the lunch time rush came in. The restaurant is multi floor with more seating upstairs but space is limited for people with wheelchairs or pushchairs as there is no lift. Overall I'd definitely visit again as a treat for the family but it's too pricey to be a regular visit

First time trying a Wendy's. Much better than I expected. Chips were really good and the burgers was nice and juicy. Fully customisable menu.

Hot salad that has turned brown. Chips stale like been left then microwaved a few times.

Come in today to grab lunch and was pretty busy but I was served quickly food come out hot and tasted great. Liv was great and had great customer service and was very polite and everything was clean

Service was friendly and kind when I took my two young lads at lunch today. Restaurant was immaculately clean and food was fresh!

Food was terrible, over priced, nothing compared to Wendy's in America. The staff are not helpful what so ever. I put a complaint in with management, not expecting anything from them but they took my address with a promise of vouchers (not that I'd go back) but they didn't even send them to me 🤦🏾 In reply to your message. This was in February, I have been corresponding with Arturas Peniak who never replied after the third time.

After a few small issues in the past everything was spot on this time food was fresh. Super tasty couldn't find a fault thank you

I ordered a burger with no mayo or tomato. The chips and nuggets were nice, but the order clearly states, no mayo, no lettuce, no tomato but its been completely ignored.

Table not clean but staff are stood around talking. Stuff on the ordering system but they havent got it in stock. Drinks from the machine are flat (no fizz). Baconator fries were very messy and there was no cutlery. One of the staff were fixing the ice machine with no gloves, no PPE didnt isolate the machine so the public could still use it and left the screw driver on the side which a child could have grabbed.

I orders a large meal for £16.49 the portion served was incredibly small. It was like a child’s portion. I will not be ordering with Wendy’s again due to this, very overpriced!

This stores cheesy potato’s never disappoint, and the avocado salad is the best salad I’ve ever had. I’m a fan of Wendy’s from my first try. 100% recommend to everyone I know - family, coworkers, friends. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Always a happy bunch in this restaurant, very friendly and forward, usually get the food only a minute or two after placing the familys order, and if any delays a staff member always makes sure to communicate this with us, only thing that brings the place down is all the local kids acting like they own the place and causing trouble while we wait for our food.

Came in for a quick breakfast as hadn't had a Wendy's before, after seeing how Americans go on about Wendy's I have probably hyped it up more in my head. I had a breakfast burger, which was good, but could have been much better. The bacon was crispy and had the most flavour so I was glad there was a fair amount of it, but the rest of the burger was fairly average as fast food goes. Would definitely come back to try their normal menu though

The service was quick and the place looked clean but the food is awful. My first time eating from Wendy's and it's just really disappointing. I know it's a personal thing but I don't like tomatoes and especially don't like ketchup. Almost all burgers comes with a tomato and no option to remove and I'm sure that every burger I saw on the menu comes with ketchup. Ordered the chilli cheese fries and was very disappointed. Just tastes like soggy potato in a tomato soup. The daves double burger was just bland. In summary, if you love tomatoes and ketchup then go for it. If you're like me and actually have taste buds then it's not the place for you

Fast decent food. Fries are nice and chicken nuggets are amazing. Go to Wendy’s often and normally my go too fast food establishment.

paid for extra patty, didn't receive it, nit the extra cheese sauce I paid for. breakfast potatoes were cold and orange juice I ordered also wasn't in the bag

It's ok. It's not something I would rush out for though. It doesn't matter what u eat, it makes u really tasty so make sure u buy the refill drinks if your eating in.

It's been a long time since I last ate in a Wendy's and I remember them as being quite nice. Today we had lunch at The Maidstone branch and the whole experience was dire. When we entered there were several empty tables with the remains of previous meals on them. When the table was eventually cleared it wasn't done properly and was left with crumbs and pieces of paper still on it. I didn't order the meals myself so the only thing I can say about the service is that it seemed to take a long time. The burgers were disgusting. There isn't any other way to describe them. The buns were soggy, the burger patty itself was small, greasy and almost cold. I refused to eat my burger and my wife left half of hers.

The ability to add a note, in my case sharing my location from Google maps via a weblink has been a game changer. Before I would have to wait for the delivery driver to not find me & ring my mobile to see where I was, by which time my food was always cold. Good update Just Eat !!!!

Had high hopes as have heard good things about this. The wait for two burgers and fries and two kids meals took forever. Enjoyed the fact they have jacket potatoes but the burgers were very average and I wouldn’t bother coming again.

Sat in the car with the driver on his phone, drove off with our food! Been waiting and still waiting half an hour .. bring the food back freshly or return the money you freakin fooools! I have the whole video of them sitting in the car and playing around. Bad service! Bad people skills. Bad time keeping and never mind the food.

I go here quite regularly because I enjoy the food. But the service on the other hand leaves considerably a lot to be desired. Especially after todays experience (1st March 2024) The front server was more concerned with faffing about than serving up my meal, which had been waiting on the hot plates for 15mins. And when she finally called my number for me to go receive it at the counter, I got a half-arsed, mumbled “sorry about the wait” with a total lack of eye contact to add to the insincerity. This isn’t the first time I’ve walked away from there griped by the service ( the girl with the lip piercings is in need of an attitude check) I understand as caterers, they must put up with a lot, mostly from rude and abusive customers but I’ve never been of that mentality. If anything, I’ve always been nothing but polite and courteous to the staff. But after being treated with such a dismissive manner, I’m finally thinking about taking my custom elsewhere

Undercooked burger and the burger smelt funny, almost fishy smell.

So angry! Spent over £50 and the only thing that turned up were the nuggets and drinks from our order??! Managed to feed the kids with what we did get but I’m massively out of pocket and food

Very disappointed only 2 drinks turned up and when I rang the restaurant someone answered the phone then put it down. Not impressed.

I am normally really happy with my order and the food is lovely. However, this time I ordered and extra beef paty in my burger and it didn't arrive. I tried to get my money back but it was declined. I am really not happy but can't do anything about it.

First time, coming and it started with a 20 minute wait for food which was not a great first impression. The food was ok, the cheesy chips especially good. But burgers were average and spicy nuggets were cold. I don't think it's an improvement on McDonald's so not sure we will come again.

Being disabled it was hard to get a seat as able bodied people had taken all the downstairs seating

These are the best French fries I have ever eaten since arriving in the UK! I would come back for the fries.

Fries and nuggets were stone cold, burger was warm, even the ketchup packets were generally hotter than the food. Milkshake didn’t even come with a straw

I am very disappointed. Firstly, my 4 piece nuggets only contained 3 and the burger did not contain any sauce or tomatoes. I feel like they swapped my burger with somebody elses. Overall very disappointed. Even the chilli cheese fries were cold and the cheese was becoming solid .

Not really anything special, just a normal eat in, take out, overpriced fast food restaurant. Good thing they do, drinks are free refills and so many flavours this is a plus better than other fast food brands out there.

Missing burger. Called restaurant was told I ether have to come get it or just eat will send someone. Messaged just eat and not heard nothing so paid 10.49 for a burger j haven’t received. Also changed two items as they ran out. Avoid.

Me and my son treated ourselves for a take away Wendy's. The staff were friendly and everything was clean. When we ate out food the chips were really nice but im afraid the burger was just too greasy. I had a double cheese burger, the first taste was nice bug I soon realised my hands and packaging were soaked in grease. Sorry it was too much for me and won't go back. Also £10 for a burger chips and can of drink is also a bit much for me.

'Orrible! Having eaten many times at Wendy's in London in the 80's, I was curious. Food was dry and the portions meagre. The service from the pregnant lady behind the counter was appalling. I asked a question about the drinks machine ...... she had clearly lost £50 and found a £1. Other staff we hidden in the back. Never again, best left in the past.

late on delivery due to high numbers of orders and waiting for a delivery driver to make the delivery but Wendy's kept me informed and up to date all the way and did not start cooking my order until a driver was assigned so my meal was hot and very tasty when it arrived
