Chantilly Lounge in Liverpool

We had breakfast here, and it was lovely. A proper big fry up , all freshly cooked and served hot by lovely friendly staff. We went back later the same day for dinner. We all had different meals, which again were all cooked to perfection. Couldn't fault it.

Been going here for years but the last 2 occasions haven't been great. Had a New Yorker quarter pounder burger that was supposed to come with salad and fries. The salad was seemingly a piece of chopped lettuce on the burger and the fries wernt very nice. The burger was very thin and was tasteless. All in all, left wanting, poorly presented cheap ingredients and didn't taste very nice.

Up,out and about on a dull and rainy July morning, our summers are magnificent aren't they, my twin brother and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for,as we were in town early we decided to drop into Chantilly Beatles Cafe and what a nice first time visit we had. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, interior is superb, light and airy, lovely decor and furnishings, lots of Beatles bric a brac throughout this cafe ,there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout both inside and outside, its just a great cafe to unwind in. We sat outside were we ordered a coffee each, these were served steaming hot, we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's. From the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve in this busy and popular cafe, its hardly surprising that this cafe is so popular with coffee of this quality. We both really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to Chantilly Beatles Cafe we were totally impressed. Chantilly Beatles Cafe is easy to locate along Cavern Walks/ Mathew Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 9am till 6pm. Sunday, 9am till 4pm. A wonderful cafe in my opinion, well worth checking out if you're in the area.

This is a lovely friendly cafe that serves good quality food and drinks. My Daughter said the smoothie was the best one she'd ever had. All the ingredients were nice and fresh. Will definitely go back again soon.

Very rude female member of staff, refused us to look at a menu and wanted us to order immediately within seconds of sitting down. Never experienced anything like this in my life. Completely ruined the experience so went elsewhere to Tortilla close by and the difference was considerable.

Food was so nice. Me and my girlfriend visited Liverpool for 3 days from Kent and the mega breakfast I had was so nice. The staff were very friendly and they made the best cappuccino I’ve ever tasted! When we next visit we will deffo be coming back!

I've been to this cafe loads of times, food is good. Went with my husband on Saturday and had a breakfast each. Was really enjoying it until I looked up only to see a woman changing her baby on one of the couches in full view. It really put me off. Although the staff could see her doing this, they never said anything to her. Then when the staff were brushing up after people, I saw one of them just brush the muck under the couch. I think it may be a while before I go again.

I’ve never left a review before but I feel very aggrieved. After a great Friday night in Liverpool with friends after a work training event I googled a cafe near me. Feeling ravenous and slightly worse for wear I was up for a proper full English nothing fancy but somewhere serving tinned toms. We got there after finding and it didn’t look the best but looks can be deceiving. Not this time however! It was my round so I ordered 2 megas with tinned toms as an extra. Eggs snotty under cooked, beans tastless, toms juiceless, undercooked bacon, sausages with 0% pork and awful. Untoasted toast and 2 beers that were from a multi pack and not convinced they were the genuine brand displayed on the bottle. All for the princely sum of £30.05p. Why is it so hard to get a breakfast with all my requirements these days. The money isn’t a factor for me when dining and this isn’t necessarily just aimed at the cafe in question today but why is it so hard to get value for money these days. I’m on my way home and can still taste and feel what I did eat of it and I’m feel myself feeling totally ripped off. I imagine people come from all over and head to the Chantally “Beetles” cafe, I think they must of been in the kitchen.

Friendly staff, and great value food. Tucked away in a little arcade off mathew street, worth hunting out.

This is a must if visiting Liverpool. It is in a small arcade which was full of boutique independent shops in years gone by. Most have now closed but The Beatles cafe remains a hidden gem. The menu is broad. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff excellent. I had a vegetarian breakfast which was as good as any I have anywhere in the world.

We always call in for a cuppa and free chocolate when we are going around the docks. We just listen to the Beatles songs being played. Great

Ordered the dish "scouse"was asked if I wanted beetroot with it,no beetroot came with it, when asked why was told "its not like you payed extra for it",wondering what a fish and chips is like,?no chips,will.say it was nice but the portion very small for the price .you judge

This little cafe was a great find. If it had not been for the small A frame we were walking past we would not have called in and had an all day breakfast each just 2 of us. It’s a bargain for an English breakfast only costing £3.95 each.

Amazing cafe what a thoroughly amazing experience having a breakfast here, The breakfast and all the food is cooked fresh there and then there's no having to have dry food it was thoroughly tasteful. Everything is so reasonably priced but you don't mind paying for quality and the food here is quality at its best.

This is one of my favourite places to visit for a quick coffee! The staff are incredibly nice and will strike a conversation to make you feel welcome. The ambiance is incredible, full of Beatle merchandise, photos and statues. The food there is incredibly tasty and very affordable too. Located close to The Cavern Club it’s a nice pit stop for resting your feet whilst travelling around Liverpool.

Went here for lunch. Cottage pie & sausage, egg, chips znd beans. I rwally enjoyed mine - could have done with a bit of gravy - but I am sure that if I'd asked, they would have let me have some. Really nice people. We asked for bread and butter - just got one slice. With a coffee and diet coke, it came to less than £20. Absolute bargain.

I love this little cafe with lots of interesting things about the Beatles to look at. Popped in for a Latte. Comfortable couches to sit on and a telly to watch too with old movies of Laurel and Hardy playing

We popped in for lunch midweek during a shopping trip. The staff were very friendly & efficient. The food was delicious - all the meals came out quickly, was freshly made to order & was delicious. The price was amazing for what we received! We will definitely be visiting again next time we're in the town centre!

Ubicado en el centro comercial Cavern Walks, cerca de Mathew Street, el Chantilly Beatles Caf ofrece una amplia gama de comida casera, que se sirve a buenos precios. Mi favorito es el pastel de casa, papas fritas y eas, que le cuesta 7. 95, que es una excelente relación calidad-precio para un tamaño de porción bueno y honesto. La comida en sí es absolutamente deliciosa y el personal es muy amable y atento. Por lo general, no hay muchas personas cenando aquí cuando visito, por lo que generalmente no hay que hacer cola, lo cual es bueno. Sin embargo, recomendaría sentarse adentro, ya que sentarse en el centro comercial te hace sentir bastante frío.En general, este lugar definitivamente vale la pena una visita. Visited with friends daily for breakfast while we were visiting Liverpool. Lovely breakfast ,lovely staff ,exceptionally clean ,and cheap as chips ,we now know were to have breakfast whenever we visit Liverpool.

Did breakfast here one day. It was close to where we were staying and food was good, and plenty of it. Staff was courteous .

Solo descubrí este café, gracias al letrero de tablero de bocadillo afuera. Ambiente muy relajante con mucha decoración en las paredes para mantener su interés mientras cocina. Fantástica relación calidad-precio. No se puede superar el precio de una fritura para una ubicación de la ciudad. Puede hacer calor allí durante el verano. 4 desayunos fritos mientras ves una película de Laurel y Hardy sin igual.

No vengas ac'a ! ¡Es asqueroso que pedí un té y sabe barato! También pedí un desayuno y las salchichas tenían un sabor barato y vil, el tocino estaba claramente cocinado en el microondas no recién cocinado? Dios sabe cuánto tiempo ha estado sentado allí en esa cocina, mi hija ordenó tostadas de jamón y queso, el queso era vil, estaba duro, no estaba derretido y toda la tostada se estaba desmoronando, ¡no podía comerla correctamente! No recomiendo venir aquí.

Encantador café escondido, excelente comida, mucho para elegir, excelente relación calidad-precio, definitivamente recomendado para un lugar donde poner los pies en alto para comer algo y tomar una copa. El encantador personal, que es muy animado y muy servicial, nos encontramos con un grupo grande de 7 personas y ellos fueron más que serviciales, no esperamos demasiado tiempo para nuestra comida considerando que éramos 7. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

Mi esposo y yo estamos discapacitados y hemos estado en esta cafetería muchas veces, es amigable para discapacitados, el personal es encantador pero no intrusivo. Películas en blanco y negro de Laurel y Hardy en el área de televisión que tenían cómodos sofás y sillas.

Esta es la primera vez que visitamos Chantilly, nos impresionó mucho, está un poco escondido en la zona de la caverna, pero vale la pena buscarlo, tienen una buena selección de comida y un buen pastel y café, y el personal es muy amable.

I love this cafe, amazing breakfast, great coffee, very friendly staff, because it is a bit hidden away it is a great find. If you like the Beatles etc you will love this cafe!

Sólo quería un bocadillo a la hora del almuerzo.

We only came across this café because we had visited The Cavern area. It is tucked away in a shopping arcade. It is especially good if you are into The Beatles because there is all sorts of memorabilia. Even if you aren't into Beatles music it is still worth having a meal there. The price of the food is incredibly low for the standard of food and the portions are very generous. You can either sit inside the café or there is an area just outside within the arcade itself. The café is extremely clean and the staff are welcoming and efficient. We will be going there again on our next visit to Liverpool.

Gran lugar que obtuve un desayuno completo por 4 libras todo fresco esperé 10 minutos vale la pena el Waite fue tubería mi compañero tenía Scouse y rollo dijo que era hermoso mi amigo tenía cheese baggett dijo encantador y fresco vale la pena visitar el personal muy atentamente ir de nuevo allí tienen una selección de comidas frías calientes puedes conseguir dos cervezas por 4 libras dar una oportunidad

This is the place to go if you want good food at a good price whilst visiting Mathew street, Very friendly staff and loads of Beatles memorabilia on the walls, which is for sale. Recommended.

Visitamos este café un domingo el día antes del feriado bancario el lunes pedimos pescado y papas fritas cuando llegaron el pescado estaba recién machacado y cocinado a la perfección el servicio era muy bueno y disfrutamos comiendo allí ya que hemos comido allí muchas veces antes de recomendar este lugar como un lugar pequeño con buena comida y buen servicio fuera del bullicio de la calle principal volverá de nuevo

This is the best scouse I’ve eaten, I’ve had a few. Genuinely friendly staff, and a really nice vibe, on a cold, wet and quiet Tuesday.

We saw a board outside a centre which advertised vegetarian breakfast. Walked into the centre and what a lovely cafe. It can be found in a little shopping centre literally next door to cavern club. Lovely decor, lots of choice even for veggies and great customer service. This has now become our place to eat when we visit the cavern club as it is a perfect location and great food. We would highly recommend.

Love this cafe. Food is very good. The full breakfast is a must. Always friendly and polite. Looking forward to a return visit.

We have been here three times now 2 breakfasts and one lunch. The food and the service is always very good and value for money. An all day breakfast for £3.95 is hard to beat.

Been here several times for lunch, never disappointing. The food I've had has always been good - the Scouse and the all-day veggie breakfast are highlights.

Visited this cafe today very pleasant place no bells and whistles just honest good food staff an absolute joy and cound not be more helpful food basic but well cooked and presented good seating area all in all what's not to like at very reasonable prices

Had high hopes for this place was soon very disappointed. Ordered the burger with cheese and it was dreadful, flat (obviously previously frozen) and tasted like leather. The cheeese was just yellow gunge stuck to a flat bun. Absolutely horrible and I am still having nightmares about this place.

We stopped at Chantilly Beatles Café after a day of exploring Liverpool.

We have visited this cafe for a number of years on our annual trip to Liverpool & always been delighted. Staff were polite good was quick & very well cooked. Although because I don't eat egg & beans no free alternatives were given which a little disappointing. The food was excellent & very well enjoyed.

Hemos visitado este lugar varias veces, después socio de nuestra hija encontramos para nosotros, durante viajes de fin de semana a Liverpool y siempre disfrutar de la comida, servicio y ambiente.

During our recent stay in Liverpool "Breakfast in Chantilly's" almost became our battle cry. I cant think of anywhere better to start your day than there. Its literally on the site of the original Cavern Club and mere feet from the stage The Beatles played on. All that aside it's comfortable and very friendly and they do a good cuppa and some mean toast and marmalade. And its all served up with some vintage Laurel and Hardy playing on the big screen. Finding the place is easy......just look over the shoulder of Cilla's statue and go down the slope into the indoor shopping centre. The staff there were brilliant and were so proud of their city and always ready with advice of places to visit.

We decided to have lunch here after our usual pub was closed for refurbishment.The decor was beautiful bright and airy and full of nostalgic pictures and music.My husband had the full English breakfast and I had a jacket potato and salad. Both meals were delicious and very reasonably price.Service was good and staff were friendly. We will definitely return.

Stumbled on this cafe when on a day out in Liverpool. Hubby had all day breakfast which he said was lovely. I had tuna mayo and jacket potato with side salad. With two pots of tea the bill was a very reasonable £10.45. I was refunded 50p as they had run out of coleslaw. Definitely come again when we are next in Liverpool

We went here for breakfast on two mornings. It is clean and welcoming and the service is very prompt. Our breakfasts were freshly cooked and delicious. They also do lots of other food that looked just as inviting. Great value for money

Have been several times before for breakfast/ light lunch/ just a cuppa. Pristine cafe with Beatles music as a bonus. Lovely staff. Freshly prepared food. Feel sad that so many of the shop units in Cavern Walks are empty, because people won't know about this great little spot. Support them if you can, it would be a travesty if it closed. Great plate of scouse on offer! Wish them well. Access from Mathew St probably easiest. Open all day. Very reasonable prices. Nice venue.

Love this place, we go here every time we are in Liverpool for something to eat in the daytime, food is delicious and always hot and cooked fresh, staff are very friendly and always acknowledge us as we enter and leave, the atmosphere is relaxed and chilled, although there is a steady flow of customers we always find a table, highly recommend here

Come here very frequently and we always recieve very friendly, quick and efficient service. The all day breakfast is really nice and they even do a vegetarian breakfast. Really cheap in here so great value for money, always clean and tidy and plenty of seating.

5 stars based on the price. Full english all- day breakfast @ £3.95. And it was really good. They also do good tasty coffee without fuss. Fine dining it isn't but good tasty food at a silly (low) price.

It's hidden away in the Cavern Walks shopping centre, but well worth seeking out. The food is excellent and great value for money. It's lovely and quiet too as it's not in the main area of Liverpool One. My family and I have been going there for years and will continue to do so!

Located in Cavern Walks, on Matthew Street, this is one of our favourite places for breakfast in Liverpool.Their full English is delicious, and reasonably priced too.It's a cross between a café and a 'greasy spoon', with record discs on the wall and Laurel & Hardy videos on the tv - it's a very relaxing place to enjoy a meal.We'd highly recommend Chantilly LoungeIn a bit!Stephen

Paid £16 for 2 veggie burgers, coffee and a coke. Totaly disappointed with what I received. The burger was of poor quality to say the least, absolutely no flavour and soggy the salad was limp and totally passed it's shelf life. The coleslaw, looked like cat sick. It's all about maximising profit in this cafe. Will not be returning. Ever!

I don't very often visit Cavern Walks thinking it to be more of a tourist attraction but passed through today and spotted this place. What a little find! Staff were excellent, very warm and welcoming. Extensive menu, very reasonable prices and comfy environment.Will definitely be visiting again, would recommend it

This is a hidden gem. The owner could not believe our experience of scouse for which we had paid £8.95 at the piazza cafe Liverpool catholic cathedral & she gave us a sample of hers. Well I wished we lived nearer so we could have returned when we were hungry & at £4.95 a bargain - and you could stand a fork up in it like the saying says! Shame this place is hidden way in the cavern walks but we highly recommend if you are up that way!

Stopped here last week for my 5th time. I was on a photography day in Liverpool and needed a breakfast stop while it was raining.Again the service and quality of food were good. Do try the Tuna ciabatta or the Manhattan burger both of which are fantastic. Coffee is delightful. I think they use Joe Blacks these days. Chantilly is clearly a small private business. The greatest sadness is that Cavern Walks is half empty and rarely busy that the lounge is always quiet. I don't know how they survive on such little trade, but I'm glad that they do.

We visited for lunch yesterday and have been a couple time before. It has a really good standard of cafe food.I had Chili with rice and chips, I work in a client facing role so thankfully it wasn't overpowering or over spicy but just right so no bad breath.My partner had the all day breakfast which was tasty.No issue with waiting time, really prompt service.Bill was roughly £13 which with 2 soft drinks which was more than reasonable.It has changed its name slightly to Chantilly Lounge Beatles Cafe I think.

After a shopping trip to Liverpool city centre visited this café/bistro for lunch with my partner. We ordered 2 cups of tea and a cheese, tomato & onion Panini. The serving girl was a bit slow at taking the order and delivering the tea but not terrible.We took our seats and drank our tea waiting for the Panini.25-30 minutes later, still no food and 3 people who had been in the queue behind me had been served, 2 of them full cooked breakfasts !I went to the counter to ask for a refund on the food part of our order. There was a quick discussion among the staff and it turned out they had put my order onto the Panini press on low setting and in effect forgotten about it. I t was then delivered, It was cooked with the cheese melted but the bread was not as toasted on the outside as much as would be hoped.The poor service was a particular disappointment given the venue was only about 1/3 full.I have been before and it was ok , if unspectacular - hence not getting a terrible review BUT I shall return again.

We were visiting Liverpool for the day and popped in for lunch when we spotted this cafe when heading from Mathew Street into Church Street. The staff were very friendly, the service was good and the food was excellent - we were made to feel very welcome. There was a good variety of choice on the menu but I would strongly recommend the all day breakfast - best I've tasted for some time. We would both go again next time we visit Liverpool.

Been coming here since our baby was born just over a year ago they cannot do enough for you,Whenever we are in town we come here they have highchairs and a good kids menu

Went to cafe ordered drinks and meal 2.05 pm .Served drinks by a girl who was trying to do about 5 things at once .Had to ask for spoon, knife, milk .Waited until 2.45 after asking young waitress if our meal was ready .Went to cash till, enquirer about our meal , she returned and said they had forgotten to do it .Asked for refund, after about 5 mins was told I could have a refund ,but they had no change in the till .Eventually given a refund on the food and told these things happen .Will never go to this dump ever again and will never recommend others to go there .A slap dash eating hole

We had lunch here this week, good menu, great prices and excellent food and service. Change from a tenner for 2 toasties and teas, and very friendly staff. Agree with the other comments made below. A quiet well-decorated and clean place in the middle of town, right next to good Beatles memorabilia and the famous band statue in the Cavern Walks. I've seen this venue change several times over the years since it was built in the 80's but you just can't match the warm Scouse welcome from Chantilly.

Nice sandwiches and a great pot of tea. I like this cafe and the staff are pleasant. It does what it "says on the tin" - a cafe in the centre of town, reasonable prices and comfortable.
