Good service. Not too busy for lunch. A very respectable Soup of the Day.

Great welcome, warm surroundings, real comfort. Second visit and can recommend the ambience. Breakfast and dinner were lovely.

We were pretty desperate as we were a table of 8 and it was last minute but needed to be near the Middle Temple. The food is hotel style food, ordinary. Service was ok but the waiter recommended a wine and then had to come back to us and ask us which wine we wanted. Wine was also very ordinary.

Staying in the hotel, so used it for breakfast. The food was OK, but nothing special, much of the cooked breakfast was luke warm, not hot enough. We only learned that we could choose items from the continental breakfast buffet (like orange juice) AFTER we'd finished when they told a nearby table. We had to ask for butter and teaspoons, both should have been on the table. Overall dissapointing.

A fantastic range of food - so much choice and something for everybody. I also enjoyed some cocktails which I had seen being made freshly by the bar staff. They were excellent. The waiter was absolutely lovely. So welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

It was a great restaurant, very well-located in a small, calm yard. The service was excellent and the food was great both in quantities than quality. Would absolutely recommend for a date or a professional meeting, as the setting is both cosy and formal.

Enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Customer service was phenomenal. Breakfast was decent and only complaint is ine day I got wheat toast instead of the white toast I ordered. Dinner wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. Prices are typical for a hotel restaurant, but very limited menu. The salmon was a tad undercooked and the Peruvian mash wasn't to my taste. They apple crumble was all crumble and no apple.

Booked for my husbands birthday. We have got engaged at this place 3 years ago so it was a lovely evening for us. The staff were very polite and helpful. We will definitely visit again. We also enjoyed the surprise birthday cake at the end. Delicious and elegant ambiance. Would recommend to anyone. Well done team!

Breakfast ok for hotel breakfast but not exceptional.

Nous avons séjourné à l’hôtel Apex Temple Court et après 1 journée dans les studios Harry Potter, nous savions que nous serions très fatigués. Le matin, j’ai donc réservé à la réception une table dans ce restaurant en demandant à bénéficier de leur offre « menu à 25£ » Cette offre est annoncée sur plusieurs pancartes à la réception. Le soir venu, nous nous dirigeons au restaurant. Ambiance agréable et tamisée. On nous installe et nous recevons le menu classique. J’explique que j’ai réservé l’offre à 25£ et la personne revient avec un menu spécial. Nous commandons l’apéritif compris dans le menu, le bœuf en plat (supplément 5£ par personne) et la crème brûlée à la cannelle. Je demande explicitement au serveur d’attendre que nous finissions notre cocktail avant d’apporter le plat. Or, à peine 5 minutes après avoir reçu le cocktail, notre bœuf arrive ! C’est une très grosse erreur au niveau du service ! Nous qui comptions prendre du vin en mangeant, tant pis pour eux, nous finirons notre cocktail ! Le dessert est servi: nous avions commandé la crème brûlée à la cannelle et nous recevons une crème brûlée classique avec un biscuit à la cannelle à côté… je regrette, mais c’est une erreur également ! Mais le « meilleur » moment, c’est en demandant l’addition: Le serveur (qui, depuis le début du repas, avait l’air complètement amorti… et je ne suis pas le seul à le dire, car la table à côté m’a fait la même réflexion ) m’apporte l’addition d’une autre table! Je demande une correction et j’attends donc mon addition, que j’estime à 60£ (25x2 + 2x5£ de supplément)… et l’addition indique 82,5£, donc 12,5£ de frais de service ! Je demande d’abord de quoi il s’agit, et on me dit qu’il s’agit d’une charge pour le service et que c’est écrit sur le menu… je demande à revoir le menu, et pas de chance pour eux, ce n’est pas mentionné ! Ça s’apparente à du vol manifeste !!! Je demande donc à l’enlever. On me demande encore 70£ alors que je devrais payer 60£. S’en est suivi un va et vient entre la réception et le restaurant pour leur prouver que j’ai raison et qu’ils ont un souci d’addition. Au bout de 15 minutes, ils acceptent enfin que j’ai raison! Comment un établissement peut-il être aussi ignorant de ses propres offres de menu ?! Et le pire de tout ça: le lendemain au check out, on me dit que j’ai une note de restaurant à payer ! J’ai dû prouver en montrant mon reçu que j’avais déjà payé ! En résumé, une soirée avec une nourriture moyenne mais surtout un très mauvais service et un manque tant de professionnalisme que de communication. Je ne reviendrai pas !

The restaurant, located in the hotel's lobby, is well designing and offers a pleasant ambience. The menu is eclectic, with plenty of vegetarian and non alcoholic choices. The dishes are beautiful presented. The service is polite and accommodating, even if not entirely professional.

Soulless restaurant in hotel... To be fair it was a Monday evening but there were only 2 other diners. Staff very friendly and attentive but food was very ordinary and poor value for money. Shocked to find we had been billed £4.50 for carafe of water.

The food and staff were great! There was an issue with my eggs benedict but the waitress took them away and brought back a fresh order. We had the same waitress the next morning and she was excellent again. Go early to beat the morning rush here with all the hotel guests coming down later.

I love this courtyard bar. It has a really nice atmosphere. The service is brilliant in some ways. Everyone is very friendly and lovely. They could be a bit more organised about clearing plates and bringing drinks but on the whole I’d rather a nice atmosphere with a little chaos than sterile perfection!

I sat outside in the courtyard. I was served pretty quickly and my food and drink arrived without much of a wait. I had the quinoa superfood salad withy chicken breast. The food was tasty and nicely presented, the only issue I had was the salad was nearly all leaves with a sprinkle of quinoa. Whilst I’m used to dining in London and therefore I’m aware of the prices, I did think that in excess of £40 for a G&T and some chicken and salad leaves, was a bit expensive. Also once I’d had my food the service dropped off and it took me a while waiting for the bill. Not sure if I would eat here again due to the price. I don’t mind paying London prices as long as I feel I’m getting value for money.

The setting and atmosphere in the court yard was great. The burger and G&T were very tasty indeed. The only issue was unfortunately the service. There were delays in getting menus, in ordering and the drinks took ages to arrive. The burgers thankfully arrived swiftly but they were with, rather than after, the patron peppers we ordered for a starter. The waiters were all friendly but they seemed uncoordinated. We actually had 4 waiters in the end - luckily last one was fantastic - with a great manner, very friendly, knew his job and very efficient. If give them another chance another day as overall the experience was good.

Service was poor when we went for lunch, staff didn’t know what was or wasn’t available, despite not being busy you had to work to get their attention, a small plate got forgotten which they then wanted to bring out after we would have finished and were surprised when we requested it should be cancelled and yet they still added 12.5 tip to the bill which my husband unfortunately paid as it was just auto pilot. Highlighted at the time that we would have taken if off to which the staff member just said he would pass on. Breakfast was a bit better, some staff you could see were really good at their job, yet others were again as slow as day before and avoided any eye contact. Shane as hotel is lovely

This was a bit of a last minute booking for us because we were going to the theatre down the road afterwards, but I could not have been more impressed. The staff were super attentive. They handled our order really promptly so that we were easily finished in time to get off for our performance. Food was very good. I have to say I'm not normally a fan of hotel restaurants, usually preferring something a bit more independent but this place really impressed.

Incredibly limited menu, mainly snack food. One salad, which was vegan suitable. One hot fish dish and the obligatory fish and chips. No vegetable choices. I asked for a side order of bread and was presented with a slice of white toast! Overpriced. We had poor service as there was a big private party going on. No longer have a pre-theatre menu, which we used to like. We were extremely disappointed.

A pretty poor experience. I had booked the 'restaurant' for a business meeting a few weeks in advance, but when I arrived I was told the whole space was already given to a networking event. I was placed in the lobby area of the hotel, which had no atmosphere at all. The menu was bar snack, really not a restaurant at all. Everything very overpriced and poor quality. I do not reommend.

Had a lovely lunch out on the terrace in the sunshine. The food was delicious and the service was great. Lovely lunch spot on a warm day.

On arrival the Hotel Restaurant was closed this was despite us being able to book a table online, once we arrived we were told the Restaurant was closed due to Covid and the Hotel was only serving Bar meals with a limited Menu, very disappointing, some form of notice either online or within the Hotel would have been nice, this would have allowed us to make other arrangements to eat. A great Hotel but let down by lack of communication.

We were staying in the hotel so came here for breakfast we had pancakes with grilled banana bacon and maple syrup a round of toast juice and tea it was all very very nice and I’d go for breakfast even if I wasn’t staying there it tasted lovely great service with a masked smile

Very quiet - we were the only diners there but the service was friendly and the food was delicious. The dining room felt rather soulless but maybe when its busy there is a better atmosphere. We have been before and would certainly go again.

We had dinner here and found the restaurant to have a nice, relaxed ambience with good service. The menu did not have a huge choice but we both enjoyed our starter of pumpkin soup; my main of Wild Mushroom Open Lasagne was really delicious and my husband also enjoyed his burger; both very well presented. We didn’t have time for a dessert which was a shame but it was very good meal and so convenient before going out to the theatre.

Location is great with lovely outside space which meant on a hot sunny day the inside was virtually deserted so you might reasonably expect to have good service. Well.......the water came fairly fast and we ordered drinks and food and then we waited, and waited and well waited. Eventually we called the waitress who had one other inside table and were told it was just coming. Along came a bottle of wine which she had to get help opening and the starters. Then eventually came the 2 beers (because they had to come from another bar). We finished starters and main came fast, no offer for more drinks and a request for more water. Food was ok but not great, sadly the lemon sole was overcooked but reasonably tasty. We declined pudding as could not spend more time so asked for the bill which amazingly took about 30 seconds....

Being a weekday lunchtime and a hotel restaurant, it was fairly quiet (10/12 diners in total). Having booked we were quickly seated, our coats taken and menus made available. Without prompting water was made available (I hate it when you have to ask repeatedly). We chose our starters and mains, and a suitable wine. Again, worthy of note was that wine is obviously marked up but here it seems reasonable rather than exorbitant. For starters my sister had the crispy squid and I went for the scotch egg. The scotch egg was of a quality that could feature in MasterChef. The sausage meat was a mixture of chicken and bacon not too thickly applied over an egg just between soft and hard boiled – this takes skill! For mains we had the burger (think a naked option should be offered) and the fish cakes. The burger was of good quality and the fish cakes were fish cakes as opposed to the potato with a hint of fish so many places serve up. We decided to forgo dessert and settled for liqueur coffees. I had Frangelico (a hazelnut liqueur) and it is the first time I have seen it offered. Service was professional, friendly and seamless. We will be visiting again!

Lovely Setting but food ordered was not good. My wife ordered Scallops which when arrived both tasted and smelt bad.

We had dinner there one evening after a long day of touring and found the service good and the food quite tasty. We also had breakfast there with the same results. The food is not inexpensive, but neither is the hotel. The restaurant is very convenient for guests. I'd eat there again.

Hard to find and almost empty on a Monday for lunch but I thought that the food and wine were good - I'll return.

We stayed at the hotel eight nights and enjoyed one satisfying dinner and one lunch at their Chamber's restaurant. We dined at chambers our first night in after a long overseas flight. I had the prawn salad. The dressing was tasty, greens fresh, with a generous portion of prawns. On another occasion, we overslept (still half on Pacific time) so lunched at Chambers. The same salad was as satisfying as it was the first time.

Group of nine. Fryer broken - so half the menu unavailable and still a £60 service charge! Portions were tiny and food average. Restaurant is a short walk from our office but we won’t be going back. Very poor.

Great hotel restaurant for dinner. Had the crab linguini and my husband had the lamb. Lovely outdoor dining area in the courtyard - that was my favorite part. Breakfast is decent. Continental options are available, as well as a full breakfast menu to order off of. Breakfast food needs a little seasoning with salt and pepper though. Avocado toast is tasty also and good for a quick bite. As all hotel restaurants are, it is a little pricey. We were lucky to have a full breakfast included in our room rate at least.

The restaurant is a bit hard to find as it is inside a hotel, and not indicated in any way from the outside. Some of the restaurant windows are giving on a passage, so part of the restaurant is a little bit gloom / dark because of that. On a weekday for lunch there were only 2 tables in use (including ours), so there isn&#039;t much atmosphere, but for a quiet lunch with a friend it was great.<br /><br />The food was really good and with the 50% off, fantastic value, I would recommend!

We enjoyed the food here very much, it was some what lighter than the more traditional menu of our previous hotel. However the menu was targeted at a shorter stay than our six days with not quite enough variety. The service was very good.

stayed at the hotel and had the offer that included dinner. Dinner was 2 course and was good value for money. They have a 2 or 3 course dinner offer every night with great value for money. I dont think we would dine her if we didn't stay at the hotel. Its a small "room" (same as the breakfastroom) and not very romantic or cozy. But the dinner was nice

Business Lunch - The restaurant is a small open area right next to the check in desk, it doesn't even feel like a restaurant it feels like you are eating in the lobby, the chairs aren't comfortable and the lighting is dull for the day time. I ordered the fish and chips and was extremely disappointed. it looked great, it was a very large portion however lacked flavor immensely. There were 4 very large half cooked chips on the plate, perfectly placed one on top of the other to make a stack. I am sure they wanted this to look nice but I would have rather had cooked chips thrown on the plate than uncooked neatly stacked. The fish came in English newspaper which was good for the eye but the taste was so poor. The fish was flavorless, I needed to cover mine in salt to be able to eat it, the batter was plane and the dish got cold very quickly. the majority of us had the fish and others had the pasta which again was flavorless and lacked seasoning and spice. for the price that you pay here - £16 per for fish and chips I expected so much more. I wont be coming back.

Disappointing, but it happens.<br />Good alternative choice and well prepared.<br />Good service until the end of the meal, when the use of a voucher for booking directly with the hotel, and which can expressly be used for dining, was initially and rather curtly refused by a waitress. When questioned, this refusal was rescinded but there are two problems with it having happened in the first instance: firstly, the lack of discretion is embarrassing for the customer and secondly, I had actually read the T&amp;Cs fully, so perhaps the hotel staff could do guests the courtesy of reading their own T&amp;Cs and not causing needless upset.<br />Overall, reasonable but unremarkable food marred by ultimately poor service.<br />Not recommended.

Restaurante típico almorzar - muy tranquila! Sólo nosotros y otra mesa. En el lado positivo, el típico servicio de restaurante pijo hotel tiene una agradable y atento. Menú en línea le vendría bien una puesta al día de los tagliatelle con ragu de ternera cocinado lento que había sido mirándome hasta había desaparecido, y la sección "parrillas" que me pareció que venía con un lado de mi elección ahora venían con una ensalada, así que, por desgracia, no patatas fritas con la hamburguesa (que nunca debe quitar fichas de una hamburguesa, en mi opinión). Aún así, las patatas fritas handcut que pagué por separado, lo admito, era muy buena. La hamburguesa era ligeramente rosada en lugares pero no me importó que, aunque era un sabor con hierbas y la izquierda persistente de tomillo. Agradable para un almuerzo tranquilo, pero vale la pena los precios un poco exagerados? No estoy tan seguro. . .

Yet again a wonderful meal with excellent service. A brilliant dining experience with work colleague as part of my firm&#039;s team building programme. Your staff were brilliant especially the young lady who served us and ensured we didn&#039;t go over budget. hat a lovely helpful young lady definitely aided our dining experience wonderful warm friendly personality and fantastic service. Highly recommend will be back.

Chambers is a great find, we really enjoyed the food, delicious and well presented, and with the Opentable 50% off food offer, it was excellent value.

We booked through Open table and had 50% off the A LaCarte menu , so straight away couldn&#039;t complain. The restaurant is within a hotel in passageway directly opposite Fetter Lane. Restaurant on the side of reception but surprisingly quiet. Service was excellent. As for food the choice was on small side but adequate. We started with 2 sharing dishes, prans with chilli and ginger were good but chicken satay was bland. It was our choice to have fish and chips which was good quality but deserts were also on bland side. Overall , obviously well worth the cost but at full price maybe not as satisfied.

Nice place. Quiet and the food was great, they lack waiters or waitress tho, it&#039;s a bit hard to get the waiter&#039;s or waitress&#039;s attention, but it&#039;s certainly not their fault, it&#039;s like only one of them overseeing the whole restaurant......

Los aperitivos eran excelentes satay de pollo y gambas chili. Mi plato de pastel de carne era tan bueno como el bistec. Had an enjoyable &amp; pleasant evening meal at Chambers Restaurant, the décor was modern, clean &amp; fresh. The service was very good, all the staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The food was good but not exceptional, the steak I ordered was not rare as requested but well done. However we did enjoy ourselves enough to want to go back &amp; try again.

The standard of the food in this hotel is outstanding. Breakfast is bought to the table piping hot, no lukewarm lacklustre buffets here. The dinner menu is fabulous, so fresh and the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves.

Pour fêter la nouvelle année, nous avions choisi Londres et l'hôtel APEX COURT HOTE . Si le choix de l'hôtel était idéal, celui de réserver le restaurant pour fêter le New year's eve l'était beaucoup moins. Cuisine prétentieuse et surtout rapport qualité prix très exagéré. Certes, les coupes de champagne étaient offertes mais 7,25 livres pour un malheureux verre de vin et une addition à 143 livres pour un dîner somme toute léger pour un repas de fête. C'est très exagéré. A mentionner la qualité de la viande. Aucune saveur et de vie dans ce restaurant sinon une addition bien salée!

Ich bin häufiger im Apex Templecourt Hotel und genieße regelmäßig das Frühstück. Ob vom Buffet oder à la carte, es ist immer sehr gut, wenngleich nicht gerade günstig. Aber alleine schon für die Eggs Benedict lohnt es sich :-)

Hier is het aangenaam pauzeren tijdens of na een drukke dag. De klerken van de Baristers rijden af en aan met karrenvrachten dossiers, terwijl jij geniet van een drankje en een snack in een autoluwe zone.

We visited the place in the summer and benefited from the lovely outdoor seating area and a 50% off offer that ran in August.Everything we ordered was delicious and in satisfactory portions.The service was very friendly and polite; our waitress even noticed that she had delivered the wrong cocktail before we did and brought another one for free.As mentioned, we visited during a special offer time which was excellent value for money. I would, otherwise, describe the restaurant as pricey. It also took a long time for our mains to arrive but that did not affect our generally very pleasant experience.

Food and service were excellent. We went for the risotto and the burger. The waitress was an Italian young woman who looked very well after us. The ambience was a bit sterile I thought but that&#039;s probably a question of taste. It&#039;s quite modern. We didn&#039;t feel uncomfortable though.

Things you have to consider when booking Chambers is it is located within a Hotel, just off the reception. <br />It is a very well presented area but if your looking for that nice restaurant feel it loses something. <br />However the service is very attentive, the food is very good, although a little bit tepid for me. <br />The 50% food bill offer was outstanding value and that aside the prices are reasonable for a London restaurant so if you are not looking for anything really special and want value for money Chambers is a real find and worth a visit

Lovely to sit outside in their sun-trap seating area yet away from a road - quite a novelty in central London. It&#039;s a hotel restaurant, which I normally dislike, but it didn&#039;t feel like one - felt like a standalone nice restaurant. Food was nicely presented and very tasty. Prices excellent when using the 50% off food promo. 3 courses + bottle of wine for two people = £75 incl. service

The restaurant was part of the hotel and slightly set back from Fleet Street - so a nice quiet area.<br />Despite the fact that there were not more than two other tables occupied in the restaurant, the service was rather slow and I didn&#039;t feel we got too much attention from the waiters. On the other hand, we sat and chatted after finishing eating without being regularly asked if we wanted anything else! The food was good and nicely presented. The desserts in particular were good.

Área externa entre um hotel (Apex) e vários prédios comerciais, esse restaurante é um "oásis" no meio da correria de Londres. Voltando de uma reunião com clientes aproveitei um dia ensolarado e sentei por lá. Pedi um "Sesame &amp; wasabi seared tuna" de entrada e um "Risotto, sundried tomatoes, ricotta cheese &amp; asparagus", esse último por indicação da atendente. Ambos muito bons!

My husband and I eat here regularly and are never disappointed. Huge menu. Well priced, fresh tasty meals. Family run business, so always service with a smile. Generous portion sizes so we never leave hungry. The owners sometimes throw in a free drink as well.

We were walking from Tower of london toward Westminster thru Cannon st. and Fleet st. (Highly recommended, so much interesting buildings) and the hotel front's green elephant caught our eyes. We saw the restaurant menu and decided to give it a try. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. We ordered the rissoto, calimari, and quail. They were so good and refine. The bill was only £31, including tip, but I added £4 extra. I paid that much at Cafe Concerto with half of the quality. The evening before, we had dinner at a Gordon Ramsey's Maze Grill park walk which was also good, but 3 times the price with dishes less refine as Chamber. This is truly London's hidden gems, so was the walk.

3 of us had supper, and were generally impressed. Food and wine menu was good, the service was mostly very good, and the food tasted great and was well presented. Only minor drawback is the décor - the restaurant feels a little clinical/bland, especially when empty (which it was when we first got there at 7pm, although it filled up later)

This is a great spot for lunch. On a sunny day you can sit outside in the courtyard. Food is great and a nice variety.
