A lovely little restaurant, a warm welcome and delicious reasonably priced food. A friendly crowd and great vibe.

I found Chambers by chance while looking for a dog friendly cafe during some bad weather. I had the biggest all-day breakfast ever, followed up with coffee & cake at excellent prices. The owner and her daughter were extremely friendly and talkative, as were some of their friends who also dropped by. I had the most wonderful hour in this cafe, while I waited for my train. I’ll certainly be back..!

Taken over by a lovely polish couple selling fresh homemade food, small but cosy cafe, very talkative owners very welcoming, will recommend!

Ordered a cheese and onion sandwich which came on half toasted bread with one cheese slice. Hubby's sarnie should have been a sausage bacon and tomato sandwich.it came as a bacon sandwich on half toasted bread on a plate covered in tinned tomatoes with sausage on another plate,. obviously it has changed owners since last reviews.

This is a lovely small cafe. As soon as I went in there was a friendly welcome. I had a very nice coffee and a cheese scone, which was served with more cheese and some chutney. There were some tempting cakes on the counter. I also noticed that the cafe was licensed to serve alcohol. I have given a score of 5, which I rarely do.

I came across this café because my train was delayed and I was looking for a place to have a coffee close to Scarborough train station. The usually direction is the city centre but I decided to walk the opposite direction for a change. I saw this place, which looked cosy with its outdoors seating. I ordered a coffee and toasted tea cake, which were both very nice, good quality and good value for money. I noticed the place was very clean. Many customers were there on the day, it looked popular. I am looking forward to come here again and maybe try their breakfast options.

To be honest - I’m ashamed! Having lived in Scarborough for all my life I’ve never been here before, but that changes. Now! I really fancied a coffee whilst out walking my dogs this morning, and stopped because of the nice outdoor seating. As I had the dogs, I just gave my order in, and waited. The coffee was a beautifully smooth latte, and the bacon, egg and hot, fresh tomato was amazing. So good. What really made this special though was the biscuits for my boys that came with my food. A lovely touch. So much so, I’ll be back shortly! Thank you!!

Our Social Skills Group meets up at Chambers almost every weekend. Alan & Nicola are always accommodating, calmly making sure the between 5-10 of us that turn up every week have an excellent lunch. The food is always top drawer, the people friendly and that enables the group to meet without anxiety or stress, which is so important for those on the Autistic spectrum, those with social anxiety and other related conditions. Any wait on food is always worth itI couldn't recommend it any higher!

Subir de Sainsbury's que acabo de ver la parte trasera de nuestro autobús 121 desde la parada del inserto, así que tuvimos que esperar 58 minutos para el siguiente.Fuimos a las cámaras para un café y como resultó muy divertido conversación.Tres mujeres que buscan en los teléfonos móviles, uno de ellos es pensado en comprar uno nuevo, la conversación y el humor fluyen con el dueño de la cafetería chipping, sino también asegurarse de que éramos parte de la diversión.A la comida y la bebida - que habíamos comido comida así que el café estaba en nuestra agenda, esta era caliente y lleno de sabor, una de las tres mujeres tenía un pedazo de pastel de chocolate, ella visiblemente purred sobre él.Cuando dijimos que estábamos esperando el autobús 121, el propietario dijo que no ve en el frío, allí en el calor hasta que pasa de camino a la parada.Con el servicio de atención al cliente esta alta, aunque nos llama en volveremos a visitar más a menudo.GraciasKevin & Richard

Llamado en hoy para café y un pastel para matar el tiempo, mientras que un amigo estaba en la peluquería de al lado sólo para descubrir lo maravilloso que es este sitio. Sirve lo que es probablemente el mejor café en Scarborough. El servicio es rápido y muy amable, nos vamos a volver para probar el menú de comidas calientes, muy pronto.

Vinimos aquí ya que queríamos tomar té antes cogimos nuestro autobús. A sólo 1 minutos de la estación de tren y autobús. FileyHabiendo investigado lugares scarborough para vegetarianos, comer a descubrir muchos lugares sus fichas en manteca de freír.Nos encantados de encontrar este lugar, que no sólo frito patatas fritas en un vegetariano - amistoso de aceite, me registré, pero sirve salchichas vegetarianas! El hombre que dijo que su hijo es vegetariano.Servicio amable, aunque un poco lento, pero el hombre estaba funcionando en su propia vida.Parecía ser muy popular, con otros comensales pareciendo como asiduos ya sabían el nombre del propietario.El chocolate caliente era ordenados por un niño, pero cuando llegó, parecía tan agradable del otro niño sufrió un mono" chocolate caliente envidia", así otro había pedido. Fueron declarados por los hijos. deliciosoLa comida estaba caliente y sabrosa y disfrutamos después de un ajetreado día en Scarborough.El único inconveniente es que el inodoro estaba 2 vuelos arriba y una abajo, en el edificio de al lado de la cafetería, y una ruta muy enrevesado, y requiere que el propietario se escribe un código de llave para entrar. Ya estábamos a punto de llegar en un autobús para un viaje de 1 horas era necesario! No es bueno para un usuario de silla de ruedas.

The service was brilliant, the food was well presented and tasted lovely. Felt a little bit slow to get the food but that was because I was starving. The downside was where the toilet was had to be accompanied by staff and lots of stairs to climb.

Chambers coffee bar is situated just out of the town centre, opposite the railway station. It's rather small, but there are seats outside too, and you can get food and drink to take away, so if you have time to spare when waiting for a train, you would be better off popping in here, rather than the station buffet.

working nearby to Chambers, we often get lunch there and it never disappoints; the quality of the food is really good and always fresh. As a coeliac, I eat a lot of jacket potatoes and these are really good. Alan also has gluten free bread and margarine, so I can rest assured everything is fine for me to eat. The omelettes are also very good and lately my husband had an open chorizo panini which was amazing -do try one if you go to Chambers.

I come to Chambers regularly and it,s the best food you can get compared to anywhere I've been,Alan and Nikola are so very welcoming,the menu has plenty of variety and is good value for money,people who come in I've got to know,it,s great everybody knows each other just about,and it,s a great meeting place,anything you dnt want Alan will do something else for you,the gluten-free products and home made cakes are good .I always look forward to coming to chambers.

I have been coming to Chambers Coffee bar for nearly 2.5 years now and absolutely love coming to eat here. Alan and Nikola both cater for my dietary requirements and are happy to adjust anything which may have wheat/gluten in so I can eat it.

I have to say chambers is a fantastic meeting place,as a disabled man nothing is too much trouble for alan and his very friendly assistant, they make you feel so welcome.As it is only a coffee bar as it reads on the nice menu the food is so fresh, cooked to order.

I've popped in here with various friends and colleagues for lunch when the cafe "Eat Me" is either closed or full around the corner.

A great place to meet friends and aquaintancies. Very cosy and friendly environment. Has a growing local ciientele who interact well with the staff to give a heartwarming welcome to visitors who may choose to drop in.

In my varied experience over the years of coffee shops/bars I have extensively experienced many establishments! however, I have really found the most marvellous ''hidden gem'' in Scarborough! lucky me! everything from the excellent quality of the food & drink to the warmest of welcomes and everything in-between. This truly is ''simply the best!

A lovely local cafe to which all are welcome. A warm and easy going atmosphere, the menu has something to satisfy those of tradition and the more modern tastes. Boasting an expansive collection of teas, coffees and barrister specialities. All food is prepared to high quality, consistency and standard. Dietary requirements such as guten free and such can be catered for on request. The staff take pride in their services, always maintaining a friendly mood and kind manner to all backgrounds and personailties. The cafe is also a home from home for many regulars who have become friends thanks to their time at Chambers.

the coffie is always nice and the crinkle cut chips are the best in the world only thiung is its very small

Lovely friendly staff, fresh food, always clean, comfortably decorated, reasonable prices and close by Scarborough railway, out-of-town bus services, and local bus services. I use it weekly and am never disappointed. Oh... and the 'pot of tea' is real tea leaves, so best cup of 'Yorkshire' in Scarborough. Two other loose-leaved teas and plenty of herbal besides.... Love it!

Chambers is a great place for food, where you can order what you want and if needs be your order can be prepared if it isn't on the menu. Just by the railway station so easily accessible to day tourists.

Parked the car in West Square and called in, good selection of food and drinks, well priced, spotlessly clean, friendly welcome. What more do you need. Alan makes a mean breakfast and praise to Helena's baking

A lovely little coffee shop. Service was warm and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble for the owner "Allan". Food was excellent! I just can't fault this place. I look forward to my next visit very soon.

Nothing is to much trouble they go out of there way to help you. You get what you pay for quality food and service you don't feel rushed nice calm atmosphere

Absolutely fab here, not many places in Scarborough that cater for Gluten/diary free diets and these guys do! Refreshing to hear a cafe that knows what it is aswell beats the big names in town who are clueless!

Chambers coffee bar has amazing tea selection can't beat have a nice hot drink! And a lovely catch up with your friends when it's so cold outside get your self to chambers coffee bar servers freshly made food everyday the service is fast the boss and his assistant are so friendly I highly recommend that place so why not try it out guy!

I always love the atmosphere, and have been looking for a small coffee shop to replace the one I used to frequent that sadly shutdown.

A fantastic meeting place serves delicious coffee and there white hot chocolate is to die for and there good is excellent always presented well I would highly recommend chambers coffee bar the best coffee shop in town so get your self there because you don't know what your missing out on!

What a little gem this place is.small but so nice.the owner and his assistant are very friendly.the quality of the food is spot on.the service is first class the milk shakes are gorgeous.keep up the good work .

I needed somewhere near to the town centre that I could also park near, so I plumbed for Chambers. It's so small, counter service meets table service, but the coffee was really good and we sat on the large stools by the window and watched the world go by. The menu is limited but what they do serve up is really top notch. I was quite surprised when my plate came as it was full of carefully laid out salad, crisps and homemade coleslaw to accompany my Tuna Melt Panini. T'was a real treat.

The perfect place for a spot of lunch with coleslaw to die for!! This is only a small cafe but what it lacks in size it makes up for in the quality of the food. Service is fantastic and the staff are lovely. Have never been disappointed. Keep it up Chambers x
