purchased a groupon voucher before the recent lockdown and it's expired during the lockdown and the merchant is not replying anything regarding this. should have extended the expiry date from their end but nothing!

My husband and I decided to get the take-away fish and chips and they were terrible. Everything (both fish and chips) was greasy. I think we left more food than we ate, and we both love this dish when properly prepared.

A bit expensive for the quality of food and service. Or you can put it the other way round, for the price quality of food and service aren't great.

Takeaway chips were £4. They gave no more than 25 chips and ketchup cost extra. I appreciate the restaurant may be great, however £4 for chips. I was expecting an amount that would at least fill me.

Chamerlain's serves by far the most exquisite food I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. Every visit exceeds my expectations. The ambience is a delight, the staff always welcoming and the building itself, simply breath taking. It is perfection in every way. 5☆

I went with some colleagues to have lunch at this restaurant. I couldn't guess it would be that good! The quality of the service is great and the flavors of the burger salmon are magnificent. I totally recommend this place, nice food and fantastic service.

It s the most favourite fish restaurant in London

We arrived quite late on a December afternoon and the kitchen was technically already closed, but the staff went above and beyond to serve us our meal regardless. The meal itself was fantastic, one of the best fish and chips I have ever had. I will most certainly be returning in the future.

I had the fish nuggets and a regular chips. The nuggets are a mixture of haddock, cod and salmon and weren't too bad. The chips disappointed, as they appeared to be a little overcooked and hard. Be prepared to queue during the lunch, as they can get very busy.

The service is a bit too slow for a quick lunch; We got the set menu but we were charged a la carte- luckily my lunch partner noticed

So much has happened since the last time i was here. I have been travelling a lot and nowadays i have very little time, hence i've arrived in the twenty first century and have to resolve to using Apps to get things done quickly. When i was at this Restaurant last time everything was organised through my office and it was not possible for me to find this restaurant on my own during the holidays. One of my friends recommend the App gooutlondon to me, great App and i manage to find Chamberlain again. For me, in my opinion the Fish & Seafood here is the best that i have ever tasted at a London Restaurant. I will be back, moreso that i now know how to find my way back through gooutlondon

What a great Lunch! Best Fish and Chips I have ever eaten!!!! First class service and washed down with a lovely bottle of Chassaigne Montrachet! I look forward to returning! Thanks guys

Had a wonderful Christmas team evening. The scallops and duck starters were delicious. King prawns were the biggest I’d ever had, wow. Oysters were magnificent. I had the beef for my main which was define. Unfortunately my desert never arrived but I guess I was full enough ha ha 👍

We end up here by chance- just browsing for fish restaurant. The oysters, mussels, main courses- all were really really well prepared and presented. The service was ok although it can be identified as a bit of chaotic. I would love to come back.

I love this restaurant and it didn't disappoint on my special birthday. Fish pie, mixed grill and Romanian sauvignon blanc, excellent. Topped up with excellent service from the lovely Nathan. Thank you guys.

31 Members of The Gresham Club had a splendid lunch here today. The best of our 19 lunches so far. Paolo and his excellent staff went out of their way to serve us great food and delicious wine. The starters were excellent and the Ox Cheek main was even better. Good choice of cheeses and Christmas pudding were much appreciated. All topic off by a lovely glass of port. Thanks Paolo!

Terrible chips, great fish. Very hard to fathom (apologies for the pun) this one. Cod was very good, crispy and light batter and nice big firm flakes of cod but the chips were an abomination (and I don't seem to be alone in thinking this). Soggy, mushy and bland. I ended up throwing pretty much all of them away. I would not go back based purely on the chips alone.

My husband and I were visiting Leadenhall Market (for the first time) recently and decided on the off chance to try Chamberlain's Restaurant for lunch. Despite not having a prior booking, we were seated quite quickly on what was clearly a busy lunch day. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the mussels he ordered as a first course and my choice of Ines Goat's Curd with roasted beets, clementine with walnuts was really tasty. My main course (Lobster Macaroni) was sublime although my husband wasn't that impressed with his choice of Fish Pie - although he said it was tasty, he has had better at home (which I'll take as a compliment)! That is in no way a complaint; he is just hard to please! Overall, we had a lovely lunch. Great quality ingredients and attention to detail.

Servizio di ottimo livello, accoglienza perfetta e qualità del cibo molto alta. Avendo poco tempo a disposizione per via di impegni di lavoro, lo staff con estrema trasparenza ci ha suggerito le portate più rapide venendo incontro alle nostre esigenze. Locale molto fine e accogliente, servizio eccellente. La qualità del cibo di alto livello così come il conto, assolutamente in linea e coerente per quanto mangiato. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutte le persone che vogliono andare sul sicuro, onde evitare spiacevoli sorprese. Londra è piena di ristoranti ma sicuramente tornerò al chamberlain per via dell'esperienza senza sorprese oltre che all'attenzione ricevuta.

I ate here with a friend this evening. Everything was delicious - I had brill with minted spuds, my partner enjoyed cod with seasonal greens. We shared a bottle of O Rosal albariño wine...

We went for the take away option of fish and chips in a box. The food was quickly prepared, TONS of chips, and big pieces of fish. Cost was a bit high, but there was plenty of food that went with it. The fish was light, lots of batter. It was a quick option in an area with more sit down restaurants.

Booked here for a work dinner after two full days of meetings! What a fantastic experience. They could not have been more accommodating and the service and food were out of this world. Nothing was too much trouble. We ended up sitting outside as it was a lovely evening even though we were a fairly large group and had booked inside they accommodated this with absolutely no fuss at all. The food was outstanding. They offered to do ‘fish and chips’ for our guests who were from overseas if they wanted it which was off menu. Everything was cooked to perfection and even the worry of ordering steak in a fish restaurant was totally unfounded as it was superb. All the staff were fantastic and I could not recommend this place highly enough.

We were lucky enough that the Chamberlain was open on Saturday night past their normal closing time. It was our first time at the Ledenhall market and did not expect most things to be closed on a Sat evening. We had a fantastic meal though, impeccable service and felt a bit guilty for having the place for ourselves :). This is a high class restaurant and we will be back for sure!

This is within Leadenhall Market and you can eat sort of outdoors if you want. It is outside the restaurant building on the pavement sort of area but you are under the roof of the market. An interesting and unusual venue just because of that.

Booked for lunch with a client as I wanted to make a good impression. Restaurant wasn't that busy but after having been sat at our table for nearly 40 minutes - I pleaded with the lady doing front of house to serve us but she refused and said she'd find us a waiter, who finally appeared from the kitchen about 5 minutes later. Perhaps he'd been on his lunch break.

Probably the worst fish and chips Ive ever had. Supposed to be Haddock but massively overcooked and very greasy batter. hugely overpriced and a "service charge of 20% was added.. never again

Had a lovely table overlooking the market with clients. Service was efficient and the Dover sole exquisite. We certainly be back.

I would sum up the experience at this restaurant in the historic, atmospheric Leadenhall market as a good demonstration that relentless focus on high quality produce associated with expert cooking in the comfort zone of the chef is the recipe for business success and customer happiness.

Chamberlains at Leadenhaall Market London is in an excellent historic location and has great atmosphere. The shellfish and fish are very fresh and well cooked. Only problem was with cheese, a hard mature cheddar was supposed to be Mrs Kirkhams Lancashire I don't think so. The staff lacked knowledge to know the difference, shame really stick with fish

Ci siamo fermati per caso in questo ristorantino attratti dai piatti dei clienti. Abbiamo optato per il "classico" fish and Chips e anche per alcune varianti, scampi e salmone. Tutto molto buono, per nulla unto. Personale molto cordiale ( due dei ragazzi che ci lavorano sono italiani), c'è stato solo un piccolo problema con il POS, non accettava il pagamento, però sia il responsabile che il personale ha cercato di risolvere il problema. Gli inconvenienti possono capitare. Consiglio

The food was great, felt fresh and well prepared. But the management seemed poor, they could have warned us in advance that a simple lunch break could take 1.5 hours.

Been in place for absolutely eons and this classic establishment never disappoints. Service is very efficient and professional with a solid maître d’ air about proceedings.

Ci troviamo a passare per caso io e i miei amici, ci fermiamo perché travolti dalla bellezza del ristorante. È sabato e quindi c’e Il brunch che è il mix di breakfast e lunch. Cibo buonissimo, di qualità, staff cordiale e attento. Davvero una bella esperienza culinaria.

I am very disappointed with the Scampi and Chips takeaway. The scampi was over breaded and not cleaned...and the fries were over saturated in oil, over fried, and chewy. Not worth the £8.50 which is unfortunate as lunch in the restaurant is lovely.

I like the restaurants that are tucked away in Leadenhall Market. There is an air of "secrecy" about them! We chose the set menu which, to be fair, was a tad limited as they tend to be but the food served up was delicious. The addition of a free Prosecco delivered to our table in those delightful 1950's champagne coupes as opposed to modern day flutes enhanced our dining experience. Chamberlain's still has a touch of the "old world" about it which, for me, makes it an ideal choice for a celebration or anniversary. The head waiter was charm itself and popped over to top up our wine glasses at appropriate intervals. Would perhaps choose a la carte for another visit. A very enjoyable evening from start to finish.

My visit at Chamberlains recently was very unmemorable: the size of the bill and the (very) drab decor in a dreary location as sole mementos. A real pity what with restaurants doing a good job with fish (a good thing with the Dover sole at £36) being so few and far between in London. Sorry to have to say this but it’s a miss !

I was taken to Chamberlains by a former work colleague. It was his first time he had been To Chamberlains as well. The restaurant is located in the centre of Leadenhall Market and is on 3 levels with the eating area on the 1st two levels. Although Chamberlains is primarily a fish restaurant they do offer a couple of meat and a vegetarian main course option. After our pre luncheon Gin & Tonics I chose the hot crab on sourdough bread for my starter which was excellent - loads of crab meat and flavour. My host chose the smoked eel which he also thought was very good. For our main course I chose the plaice in batter with chips and peas whilst my host chose the skate wing. Again both were very good. We skipped dessert. The service throughout was excellent, attentive but not intrusive and both our wine & water glasses were topped up on a very regular basis. The wine list was extensive with reasonably priced wines from both the new & old world. We both had a great meal and I would certainly go back there again next time I am in the City

This seafood and fish restaurant has quite a long tradition and is set in a fine, historic part of the City of London in Leadenhall Market. We had fine views of the market passage. Service varied from somewhat slow and distant, despite what seemed to be a goodly number of staff on the floor, to more attentive when things were not going smoothly. I noted that after the main courses and bread service were removed, the crumbs on the table cover were left.

Should be better. Well staffed, smart market restaurant, undercover with good people watching.

Excellent fish but not so much chips! I ordered their online fish and tips and indeed the fish was superb but the chips were dry and mushy. Was not impressed by it. Overall satisfied because it's a huge portion and good value for money.

The food was good, sea bass was well cooked and sauce was very nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. Nice place in the City, very cool location, perfect for lunch but might feel a bit empty for dinner.

I have met friends here for lunch a few times over recent years as we all find it to be a convenient location with good value food. The service is consistently good, with very friendly and helpful bar staff. A good range of draft beers and ciders on tap with a fairly standard but good pub menu. A large high ceiling building with good natural light, unusual for many London pubs, and I’d happily recommend it as a good venue for meeting up with friends.

Within the authantic gallery at City of London (financial district), well elaborated and nicely selected but limited menu. Well tasty dishes, scottish salmone and wild seabass were my favourites.

We had the set lunch menu. The selection of dishes on offer was fine; the quality of food was very good. Would particularly recommend the fish in tempura batter. I would say good value considering the location and overall ambience.

We both enjoyed our meals. I had the salmon, which was beautifully cooked, did not expect it to be quite so large but that is not a complaint, the truffle and Parmesan chips were delicious. All the waiters were helpful. Lovely toilets also.

A work colleague and I had a leisurely lunch at Chamebrlin's and I was absolutely amazed by the service, the knowledge of the sommelier, and the quality of the food.

Unfancy setting for a fancy lunch. Awesome fish pie with shrimp, halibut and salmon and a poached egg on it. It’s huge, do think about sharing it and getting your own appetizers. Fish and chips also a good option.

Great place to sit out or in. Good food with choice of drinks. Atmosphere is lovely in the Leadenhall Market as while you sit and eat, you will be charmed by the beautiful architect of this market. Good and quick service. They also accept orders for delivery. Good place for business meet also.

Presentó Chamberlains por compañeros. Tuvimos la mariscada más espléndido para compartir, incluye patas de cangrejo, langosta, gambas, ostras y salmón Salomn deliciosa.

Siempre ocupado en el almuerzo, así que fuimos a cenar después del trabajo, idea para palomitas para picar con una copa de vino. Menú de buen tamaño. Ambos tenían diferentes tipos el mercado de pescado fresco, una con ensalada y una con patatas fritas. Pescado fresco, muy sabrosa y bien vestidos, con ensalada de colores. Hubiera gustado papas fritas cortadas a mano complementan adecuadamente el pescado. El camarero (Ben) fue atento y conocedor, como muy servicial con elegir un vino.
