Chamberlain's Coffee&cakes in Kirklees

Called in here this afternoon for a quick coffee! The coffee was lovely and the strawberry flapjack delicious. The lady working there was very pleasant too. Would definitely recommend and return !

Our power was off at home during the recent snow, so my wife and I (and the dog) decided to walk the 4 miles or so towards Shepley to see what was open and if we could get a coffee. Thankfully, Chamberlains was open and we had 2 lovely lattes, each with a bacon sandwich. All were fantastic and very welcome. Just what we needed to fuel us up for our walk back! Lovely friendly service too from the owner. Would highly recommend.

Ordered some sandwiches over the phone to collect half an hour later. Sandwiches ready on time. Bread and sandwich fillings were plentiful and delicious. Would definitely order sandwiches again 😁

Highly recommend trying their Soup, it is consistently always delicious ! and they have the best cakes ever! So lucky to have this on my doorstep .

Lovely little cafe in shepley village. On the whole it was very nice but why on earth do they serve sandwiches in uncut bread which is about an inch thick. Much rather have a tea cake. Also as the bread is so thick it spoils the whole sandwich. You just end up leaving all the crusts Also charge extra for a bit of mayonnaise, Salad cream and mustard. Lovely cakes.

We had a brilliant breakfast this weekend, gorgeous little cafe. Really friendly, comfortable, excellent quality produce and very reasonably priced. The homemade cakes are on another level!! Highly recommended.

Called for the first time nice enough place but we ordered a Tuna Mayo on brown bread which was average but the Ham and Cheese toasty also on brown was very lacking in filling and tasteless. We ordered a a side salad at £1.75 which quite frankly was a joke it looked like a garnish i suspect they have kids making the sandwiches in the kitchen who need some supervision to produce some value for money. We also ordered a large decaf coffee which was distinctly lacked coffee. Not a great experience for the first time out.

Super friendly, comfortable coffee house. Everything cooked fresh and tastes delicious. Having to resist the amazing homemade cakes is very difficult but it is only breakfast time…

Met up with my bff at this cosy and friendly venue today. My first experience was Christmas Eve with the same friend. Both visits were perfect. Coffee ✔️ cakes ✔️ service ✔️ Happy Birthday to Chamberlains today.

We are lovers of great coffee and delicious cakes so how lucky are we to have Chamberlain’s open up in the village. 🤗 The cakes are truly home-made and you can binge to your hearts content on beautiful sponge and chocolate creations, ‘cos it would be rude not to after that toastie! What a truly charming coffee shop with real quality and such friendly staff. The problem will be staying away!
