We visited Chaii Hut on our trip to Sheffield when we were craving for some Karak or Pink Tea after lunch. Its located on the popular London Road which is main area for Indian/Pakistani cuisine in Sheffield. A lovely lady greeted us with smile. Chai/Karak cafes have been opened to saturation in UK and Middle East recently, but the passionate lady was confident they have best Pink Tea and Milk Cake. She wasn't wrong. Pink Tea really tasted authentic but Milk Cake was the best we ever ate. Moist, creamy, fresh and not too sweet. We had chats on different topics. She told us about post pandemic business problems and plans to expand their menu to serve breakfast and some more savory stuff. The pricing is also quite reasonable. Such was our experience, we paid a repeat visit before leaving. Definitely worth a try, especially for the Milk Cake.

Excellent service, excellent food! We were warmly greeted into a lively and cosy restaurant, and left an hour or two later completely happy and satisfied by one of the best Indian meals we have ever had. Everything was truly outstanding, and simply fantastic value for money.

The food is amazing, the portions are generous and the atmosphere is great at Manzil Spice. My favourite dish was the massala fish which came sizzling on a bed of onions on a hot skillet - and the chicken bhuna was lovely too. I couldn't eat it all as I had too many poppadoms! We went for an early dinner on a Saturday and there were already plenty of other tables filled, so I'd say it's a good idea to book.

My favourite place to eat in Sheffield. Thank you Mrs Patel. If you have not tried the Aalu paapadi chaat or the Samosa chaat, I strongly recommend that you do. They are not like a curry. They are sweet and sour with a tangy spicy flavour. James
