Food was good but portions were very small for the price. Example one of the dishes was the meat BBQ platter £49. Very little meat and only two prawns for 4 people.

Selected from a large number of Korean restaurants in the immediate area and not disappointed at all. A first time experience for eating Korean food and a very large varied selection of dishes to chose from. Helped by attentive staff and the selection was perfect. As there were 5 of us we had a varied selection of appetisers and one main dish to share between us - on reflection could probably had an additional main course but perhaps that would have been too much! Would like to revisit sometime and try other dishes.

Wonderful food and attentive service. Absolutely loved it here, for two of us it was our first Korean meal and absolutely loved it. Interesting food and all the courses explained to us . I have a shellfish allergy but my companions don’t , the staff were so mindful of this and ensured my friends could enjoy shellfish without it being a problem for me . The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helped us choose from the extensive menu. There was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and we couldn’t have hoped for a better introduction to Korean cuisine. We will return .

We have enjoyed Korean cuisine while travelling in Korea and my wife asked for a Korean meal for her birthday treat. We travelled from Oxfordshire especially to enjoy an authentic Korean experience. We were not disappointed. First impressions were hugely encouraging. We hadn’t booked, but were welcomed warmly. The table was the real deal, with an inset BBQ and a little drawer for napkins, chopsticks and spoons. The two better known Korean beers were included in the selection of beers on offer. The starters were exactly how we hoped they would be. The BBQ itself was cooked at the table for us by the waiter, who was friendly and keen to explain what was happening. All the food was presented beautifully. Most of the other diners were Korean, which is obviously a good sign. There was quite a noisy ( in a good natured, lively way ) table of Koreans next to us, which added to the atmosphere. At one point we chatted with the lady we assumed was the manager or owner. She was delighted to hear that we had visited Korea and was impressed that we had hired a car to explore off the beaten track, away from the tourist hotspots. When the time came to serve dessert, they played the Happy Birthday song, which was sung enthusiastically by the Koreans on the next table. My wife thanked them in Korean which prompted one of them to say ( in Korean ) “Oh - she speaks Korean!”. They might be relieved to know that she doesn’t speak much Korean and was not following their conversations. Everything about the restaurant was as we hoped it might be. It was exactly the birthday treat that we were after. We look forward to returning whenever we are in that area.

Incredible food - we had the marinated BBQ cooked at the table with delicious sides and welcome recommendations from our waiter. The decor and ambience is great and made for a wonderful evening out - best Korean food we’ve had and will definitely be back!

Monty's offers an authentic and deeply satisfying Nepalese dining experience, with two standout dishes that deserve special mention. The chicken momos were perfectly crafted—delicately steamed with a light yet resilient wrapper encasing a juicy, well-seasoned filling, and served with a tangy tomato-sesame achar that elevated each bite. Even more memorable was the lamb pahadi: tender, smoky pieces of lamb marinated in a robust blend of spices and grilled to perfection, delivering a rich, earthy flavor that was both bold and beautifully balanced. With attentive service and a warm, inviting atmosphere, this restaurant captures the spirit and soul of Himalayan cuisine in every dish.
